We got the caramelized pork and it's amazing. The staff was the perfect amount of sarcastic and helpful, they were so funny. My mom would love them.

Located in the foodhallen, we got the chicken bowl. It had a really excellent mix and ratio of chicken to noodle to vegetable. The chicken itself was crispy, flavorful, and juicy, and the rest of the bowl had a lovely spicy crunch to it. Sometimes bowls overload with noodles but this was perfect. Great service too, there was a miscommunication of our order and it took longer than usual but they gave us an extra side to make up for it. They clearly care about their customers and make very tasty food!

Review of Viet View – Foodhallen, Amsterdam While the food quality at Viet View is satisfactory, the customer service was extremely disappointing and unacceptable. Upon requesting spicy sauce, I was dismissively told, “This is not an Indian place.” Such a remark is both unprofessional and discriminatory. In the hospitality industry, customer experience matters as much as the food. A simple and courteous response such as, “I’m sorry, we don’t have that available,” would have sufficed. Instead, I was left feeling disrespected as a paying customer. It is unfortunate when establishments choose to take your money while failing to treat guests with basic courtesy. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Viet View, and I would strongly advise others to avoid dining here.

The bowl with roasted chicken it's amazing

Came here earlier today and was very happy with the service and food quality at Viet View. I had the Chicken Fling Goi Cuon which was delicious dipped in sriracha. The wrap contained salad, beautifully cooked and seasoned chicken, vermicelli noodles and a Vietnamese vinaigrette. The price point here was about 3/4 euros higher than other Vietnamese restaurants in the area, but for the location I can understand the upscale of the cost.

Ordered via Uber eats. Food wasn't delivered, delivery guy kept hanging up, restaurant's phone number went to voice mail which was full.

We had dinner at Viet View on Monday 14/7/25. Our order of 2 Chicken Bowls was taken with a friendly smile and prepared efficiently. The Chicken Bowl was plentiful and packed with deliciously fresh healthy ingredients. We highly recommend trying Viet View !!!

Amazing Vietnamese food just outside of central AMS. Easy to find inside the food court, super fresh and food came quickly. Great service by the staff too. Definitely worth a visit for lunch or dinner in between your sightseeing in the city.

Viet View inside Amsterdam’s Foodhallen absolutely hit the spot. I ordered the caramelized pork belly bánh mì, and it was everything I wanted it to be, savory, sweet, layered with just enough chili heat and acidity from the pickled daikon and carrot to keep it balanced. The bread was fresh, the herbs were bright, and the vegan chili mayo added a smooth kick that pulled it all together. On the side, I tried the Vietnamese snacks platter: crispy prawn crackers with hoisin dip, mini veggie spring rolls, and chicken wings glazed in a sticky honey soy sauce. Everything was hot, fresh, and perfect for sharing, or not. Great texture, flavor, and variety. A solid stop in the lively Foodhallen scene; flavorful, fast, and worth the visit.

I have always enjoyed the food and service here but had a disappointing experience this time. A girl did not show up when called to get her food for significant time. After a while, they stopped calling her and gave me her food that had been sitting there. The girl who was not there in time to collect her already cold order got my warm order.

What a scam. They take your online order, keep you waiting for a rider to take the job. They give you a time indication, with an absolute max delivery time. And then they take the liberty to simply cancel your order, after waiting for 90 mins. And when you try to call them, their phone is not working. Thank you Viet View for doing a shitty job

Oderred chicken Hanoi. Got it in a bun, but didn't realise the chicken would be served. I asked if it could be done in a bowl, and Service was great. Food also sweet. A bit pricey for street food.

Food looked good on the plate The staff friendly and quick. Not a great banh mi. I've had great bang mi in Vietnam and Dublin. This one was not great bread wasn't crunchy. Not much coriander or other filling just a lot of pork that had lots of rubbery fat wasn't pleasant to eat. Usually I finish all my food but this time I left half of it behind me. See photos of the filling.

Tofu banh mi has potential, but unfortunately the tofu is so bland/not a great texture that the banh mi tastes better without lol.

Got food poisoning after ordering here. Pieces of chicken also did not taste fresh and were still small pieces of hard and pink inside.

Got the vegetarian banh mi and glad I didn't also get the spring rolls (looked very sad). 10cm of bread, not much sauce, carrots, radish and the tofu. Tofu was thickly cut, so the outside was flavorful and the inside bland. For 10,50€. Very expensive for what you get and the taste is quite boring

I've been coming to eat here for years now, the rolls are so good and light but still fill you up well so for someone who wants to have a nice meal that won't make your body feel awful after this is the best. The staff is super friendly also, I once told the owner I'm super impressed with how tight he makes the rolls and he just got me behind the counter to give me a little course! Never experienced something like that in my life, so so nice!! The food is also consistently good, some other stalls have an unfortunate variety of quality depending on how busy it gets but Viet View always has excellent taste. It usually takes about ten minutes before the order is ready which is crazy fast for fresh prepped food, they make the rolls to order so the rice paper is exactly the right texture and the meat is warm and tender. I like having a few minutes to order a drink to match and enjoy the atmosphere in the halls anyway. We got the Vietnamese sub beef.( Bah Mi) The spice was excellent, the bun crunchy and soft just as it should be. If there is one personal preference I like an equal veg to meat ratio especially cucumber. Viet View has more meat than veg so if this is what you are looking for , great news. It is located in a food hall ( Foodhallen) so atmosphere is more like a cafeteria. Service as well was slow but this was directly linked to how busy they are.

Best summer rolls, although not cheap (€10.75)!

Food was always great here. Unfortunately no sauce with the to go, I could have also checked but the tofu rice paper roll really needs that.. €10.50 and it makes me a lol' sad.. Sorry guys, hopefully it will be the same next time tasty as it always was. Atmosphere 5* because there was a DJ Mariah Carey playing 😅.

Ordered their snack platter last night to share with my husband and it did not disappoint! I was able to eat half of it because they have some GF options, and he ate the other half. Delicious and well priced - would highly recommend!!

Also we left a note in the delivery asking them to put some rice paper for us to do our own wraps and they did! Way to go the extra mile, we did a delivery and now we'll go in person to dine there ^_^

We hadden een half uurtje voordat de film begon. De bestelling (2 bahn mi + spring rolls) zou er binnen 5-10 minuten zijn. Maak daar maar 20 minuten van. Wat we kregen was teleurstellend. Op zich goed van smaak, maar ontzettend vet. De broodjes dropen letterlijk van het vet. En de springrolls hadden zich helemaal met vet volgezogen. Olie waarschijnlijk niet op de goede temperatuur. Misschien hadden we deze dinsdagavond pech, maar dit is verre van voor herhaling vatbaar

I was excited to try their tofu noodle bowl, and it did not disappoint (though it wasn't anything to write home about and was a little expensive). What I did not like about the experience was the cashier ignoring me for a while, wiping his nose with his bare hands, then ringing me up without washing them. I should have walked at that point but was hungry! The staff seemed rather bored or annoyed, but I imagine dealing with the masses in the Foodhallen can wear a person down. TL;DR: good food albeit a little pricy, not the best service

Very tasty and fresh! We had the chicken bowl and the Saigon beef bun. It’s in the Food hallen and you can order at the many stands but this one was definitely one of the winners

This is one of my favorite quick service restaurants in Amsterdam, and has been for over three years now. My go-to's are the chicken bowl, chicken wings, and shrimp spring rolls. The food is consistently delicious and they're always so friendly. Food is usually ready in ten minutes, but visit during off-peak hours to avoid the line.

Best Banh Mi in Amsterdam. They have tofu options and the tofu banh mi is incredible.

I ordered a takeaway Hanoi chicken bahn mi and had to wait for a good 10 minutes or so, even though the restaurant didn’t seem to be too busy at the time. The food however was really tasty and I would say, worth the money and worth the wait. Thank you!

Pretty overpriced for Vietnamese. No effort put into sauces, don’t be lazy - add coconut milk to your hoi sin dipping sauce. Rice Paper rolls(Gỏi cuốn) €10-11 for 4x halves Still delicious, however not the best value in my opinion.

Overpriced, decent food nothing special

Un muy buen sitio para comer, solamente hemos tenido que esperar 12 minutos. Aunque si que hay que estar atento s cuando te llamen porque no nos enteramos. Pero la comida está muy buena! Nosotros probamos el los noodels con carne y estaba riquísimo. PD: la cerveza es del sitio de delante

Ik haal al jaren de tofu bowl van ze... en ik heb ze in de jaren steeds kleiner en magerder zien worden, terwijl de kosten stijgen. Erg jammer, want het is absoluut een van mijn meest favoriete bestel/afhaal maaltijden. Maar ik heb vandaag 20 euro betaald voor een superkleine portie, de vinaigrette was net te weinig om de salade een goede smaak te geven, de bezorging duurt waarschijnlijk zo lang dat de salade warm is, de loempia's zacht en de tofu koud. Trouwens de stukken tofu zijn ook aanzienlijk kleiner en minder geworden. SUPERJAMMER dat de kwaliteit zo ontzettend achteruit is gegaan!

De bakjes waar de 'vinaigrette' in zat waren open gegaan en daardoor was het één sompig gebeuren. De loempia-tjes 'hingen krom'. Een plakkerige brij van 'sla' met koud vlees. De bak waar deze brij in zat was ook open. Geef wat meer geld uit aan goede degelijke verpakkingen. Al met al een deceptie.

We picked this place out of a huge number of food options in the foodhall. It was obviously very popular because the queue was very long! All in all I thought the food was very good - we went for a portion of the Vietnamese rolls, and then a portion of the steak banh mi! Tasty all round - BUT - I would say that it didn’t really hit in terms of the kinds of flavours you’d expect from Vietnamese food. In other words, while it was good, it didn’t taste super authentic and so I wouldn’t go here if you want that citrusy fresh and spicy pop you often get with Vietnamese food.
