Pho 91 in Oude Pijp

Very very good food, both phos were very tasty. The restaurant is somewhat cold in winter.

The food here is good, but sadly not good enough to make up for the service received today. Been here one time before, when the service was good. Hence inviting a friend to visit the place together. It was pretty busy when we arrived, so the server asked us to wait outside for 10 minutes. It was pretty cold, but the place is not that large so we understood that (we were a group of 3). While waiting outside for about 6/7 minutes, other people arrived and are waiting inside for a table. We thought it was weird that we had to wait outside while people after us were left waiting inside. Then we notice that the group of 2 (that arrived after us) were already seated before us. This was odd, as 2 tables for 2 people just opened up, it would’ve made more sense to let us sit there. Also seats at the counter opened up (where the couple could’ve sat together). Another group of 3 was also waiting inside after us, they claimed the counter spot. We went back inside as 10 minutes had passed a bit confused to why we are not helped yet. The server told us we could sit with the three of us at a 2 person table. The bigger table where more people could sit had already opened up, but that option was not offered to us. We tried to give the smaller table a chance. This one was not wiped yet, there was some liquid spilled over the table. The server just threw the menus over the dirty table for us to read. We decided to wipe the table ourselves. The group of 3 that first claimed the counter moved to the bigger table while this happened. Then the server went to the bigger table to clean up there. We kept waiting to order, but this just took too long to get proper service. We decided to leave at one point. This was a bad experience, which I did want to share today. Luckily we found another good Vietnamese spot nearby, with very good service. (Still giving three stars as I did receive good service the first time, but will not be visiting again)

Been here for the first time today. We came in and there was no table available yet. We could wait outside and after 10 minutes a table would become available. Several people came in after us and they were already assigned a table ahead of us. Then we walked back inside and the three of us got a table for two people. We didn't mind this in itself, but there was a large table available where guests who came after us simply sat, but nothing was said about this. The table we were sitting at had not yet been cleaned and was wet. Then the waitress came and without saying a word dumped the menus on the wet table and walked away. The menus were also filthy. We wiped the table ourselves with a cloth. It took a long time to take the order. The table next to us asked if they could order and the waitress was very annoyed that she was still cleaning up. Then we just got up and left. The service is curt and angry, without a smile. We felt unwanted as customers.

Today was my first time visiting and it left a really bad impression. Yes, it was busy but that does not mean that the server has to look angry and annoyed. We did not feel welcome at all. We went to another Vietnamese place down the street instead where we felt very welcome.

We had Pho 91 and Bun bo hue, and both dishes were very salty.

Pho and beef noodle soup are nothing special, the taste is quite flat. Maybe it's more suitable for westerners to eat. The waiter was young and didn't seem very professional or friendly.

One of the best portions of Pho I've ever had! The broth was rich in flavor and the fresh herbs added a unique character to it. The pasta was cooked perfectly and the portion was really big. The atmosphere in the restaurant was cozy and the service was very nice and helpful. We are looking forward to coming back to try more dishes 🍜🍲 Highly recommended ✨

It seems like they are taking cash. There isn't much difference in price. Don't order something like this that only comes with chicken breast. Get Pho 91 Shiki Sam. It's a composition and taste you won't regret.

We had the noodle chicken salad and veggie curry. Unfortunately, none of the fresh, authentic flavors we had hoped for. The salad was very sparse, with some iceberg lettuce and 3 shreds of cucumber and red onion as vegetables (the bean sprouts turned out after we had asked for them ourselves). The curry tasted straight from a jar, thick and mealy with little flavour. Where are the large amounts of fresh herbs?? We left some of the curry because we had lost our appetite. If you expect good Vietnamese food I wouldn't go here…

Very delicious, on par with what I ate in Vietnam. It's 100% Vietnamese food. The salad my boyfriend ordered was delicious. I can't remember what the name was.

Ordered delivery from this place and the portion and it was the tiniest portion for pho I've seen for the price. And Ive had pho in no fewer than 5 European countries plus north America, etc. Given the tiny amount of meat, average taste and overall portion, this should be 9.99 and not almost 20 euros. The flavor was alright. It wasn't terrible but there was too much salt and I have a heavy taste. They had raw slices of beef which was good. Overall there were maybe 5-6 slices of meat and the meat balls were not even thumb sized. The noodles were not pho noodles but some other kind of rice noodle.

The pho was average and the price didn't reflect the ingredients. Not saying it was bad, but one expects (and can elsewhere get) more quality and/or quantity for the money... The service was very friendly and quick :-)

Eaten here twice now, beautiful vietnamese food, the staff can also speak Vietnamese. Ordered the Bun Bo Hue, looks different from last time, but it's still delicious! Definitely coming back!

I think this might be the best pho in Amsterdam. It was so delicious. The meat in the pho bo is soft and the soup is delicious. Both are good. If you want to get rid of the European buzz, Korean food is good, but I also highly recommend Vietnamese food. It's not far from the center, so accessibility is good. The staff are also very friendly.

Went to eat here this week, the taste was good and authentic (I'm Vietnamese) but their portions are small and they are quite stingy. The pho was 17 euros (which is on the more expensive side in Amsterdam) and it did not even come with a herb garnish dish which I have never experienced before (I missed the basil, bean sprouts etc.), so that was quite disappointing. The starters are also very small, we ordered the shrimp rolls and chicken spring rolls, but did not expect that we would receive only one shrimp roll with 3 small shrimps in it cut in two halves and one spring roll cut in four pieces (for around 6 euros each). Drinks were also 6 euros each. And the toilet was smelly too. We won't be returning here.

People here really have low standard in food. I came to try becuz the rating looks good but the rating is not reflecting to the actual quality. Got the pho 91 which noodles were in a lump all together and stuck at the bottom, soup taste bland and bowl was served with a size not up to the par of €17.5 for a pho. So little veggie of sprouts.

The pho broth tastes amazing! Mind that it’s very small there, so limited seats, and they take no reservations.

What I like 1) beef steak is really good 2) the chicken wings are super good, crispy and the special sauce taste really good. What I don't like 1) the beef soup taste a bit light 2) obviously there's MSG in the soup 3) beef brisket is dry, chewy and tasteless 4) the pho noodles is a bit overcooked.

Vietnamese pho in the Netherlands, the pho is also very good, although the broth is not strong in pho taste but still has the flavor, you can eat Pho 91 to have more beef balls, chicken, beef, but if the pho is rare, then only beef. The area of ​​the restaurant is quite small and the customers are always crowded. I arrived a bit late so there was no need to wait, but when the restaurant is crowded you may have to wait a few minutes.

Great affordable place for lunch or dinner. I tried Pho91 and it was really nice and light yet not too spicy.

Ordered delivery but it came with cold soup and seems it needs very hot soup to cook the raw meat and raw noodle they gave us. So i got cold soup with uncooked noodle and raw meat. And no microwave in my hotel. Spent 42Euro Im disputing this order with my ubereat and also my card company but its annoying

We arrived with big expectations, we ordered two drinks and two Pho Bò. We have been waiting for 1 hour to then find out the forgot our order. Honestly, there were literally 5 or 6 tables at that moment, how do you forget an order? The waitress never came to check, barely apologised and didn’t even offer the drinks for free, which is a usual thing to do in such case. We were looking for a good Pho place to go every time, but unfortunately never ever again.

Really clean and flavourful broth I loved the addition of red chilli's ontop of the soup. And the banana dessert was a great new experience!

I ordered the signature pho. The food portion was enough, but it was quite ordinary and not like the pho you usually eat. The broth was a bit lacking in flavor and the dough was different, but the raw beef was okay. There is WiFi in the store but it is not available for guests to use. The overall environment is clean and bright.

My favourite pho when it comes to places in Amsterdam, deep flavors and fresh ingredients. My personal favorite is the pho Bo, but the other ones are very tasty as well. You should definitely try some of the small dishes like the aubergine salad, summer rolls or crispy cauliflower wings.

The vegan pho Chay is one of the best ever. I've had my fair share of vegan phos too... Broth delicious, lots of noodles, no plate of bean sprouts that you don't intend on eating. Perfect.

Very tasty food! There were 2 of us and we shared 2 appetizers and a pho. This was more than enough! The chicken spring rolls were fresh and the fried cauliflower was also tasty and tasty. The pho was fresh with tasty meat and other fillings. We often had to call the staff ourselves if we wanted to order something, but that was not something they did themselves. It is a small place and we sat next to the toilet, so my partner looked at the toilets all the time. The desserts were simple but very tasty.

Keep on forgetting how plain the pho here is. The pho seems to focus at the meat quality but the bouillon is very plain with barely any spices. They prof you don't add the provided pepper sauces in it (I did add the fish sauce).

Phó was decent, not extremely flavorful. Added things to it myself to make it more flavorful. Service was typical Amsterdam not even a welcome or goodbye and more busy with talking to their friends or co workers than looking at customers. Interior is not cozy or vibey.

Got the Pho 91 with the different types of meat and chicken. I thought it was pretty decent.

While I occasionally eat meat, I prefer my pho to be veggie, and I'm fairly selective. Finding a good veggie pho is not easy. The veggie (vegan) pho at Pho 91 is as good as any I've had and is and will be my go-to place for veggie/vegan pho whenever I'm in Amsterdam.

It's a decent place for Pho but a bit over-hyped. It's on the crowed Albert Cuyp street so very easy to get to if you are in the area.

Good pho and starters, however, the service was a bit slow and one bowl at 16,5eur seemed a bit pricey. Still worth a try though.

Delish! I like having pho in all diff cities around the world and this one was delish. The broth was so nice and hot and flavorful (maybe a tiny bit salty). The crispy spring rolls with fish sauce were so good. I came in around 6pm and every table was filled by 6:45!

Don't expect some fancy atmosphere here. This place is focused on Pho, so you come, you eat, you leave.

Great little place with good food

If a pho place can make good Bun Bo Hue then everything else on the menu is sure to be delicious. Pho 91 has some of the best bun Bo hue outside of Hue and the atmosphere is cozy and authentic for a restaurant located in De Pijp.

trying out another vietnamese restaurant. it’s not too big but if you’re on time, there will be a place for you to sit. we went on a thursday. the pho bo tai was good, i noticed that the noodles were thinner than other places. the broth was flavorful but not too strong. i enjoyed it anyway! same goes for the bun bowl, it had a really nice fresh taste due to the crunchy texture lettuce 😌 worth a try i would say!

I was a bit disappointed by their pho. Overall the place looks cool and the food came fast, but the pho was just not that good. I had it for takeaway, and found that i did not get a lot of broth. I tried the broth on its own and its taste was underwhelming. The noodles and meat were good. There were also not enough toppings for my liking. I will have to try it again in person

Sono stato qui grazie ad un amico celiaco che qui può mangiare quasi di tutto. Abbiamo preso il pollo fritto ed un rotolo di verdure come antipasti, entrambi buoni. Come portara principale ovviamente il pho. Io ho preso quello più ricco con vitello, pollo, brisket e polpettine. Tutto molto caldo, piccantino e buono. Da bere abbiamo preso acqua ed in totale abbiamo speso 44 euro. Consigliato se ci si trova in zona.

lugar reducido con servicio amable y excelente sopa PHO tanto de pollo como de ternera ( es lo que cenamos nosotros) pero volveremos porque platos de otros comensales tenían muy buen aspecto.
