Had a wonderful time at Chef Han Flavours. The food was delicious — fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. The service was amazing, especially from Roberto, who was very helpful and made us feel truly welcome. Highly recommended, and I’ll definitely come back again!

Food was excellent, but service was very slow. I ordered dumplings to-go and waited almost 30 minutes!

The atmosphere was elegant but not stuffy. The lighting was soft and warm, which made for a pleasant experience. The wine list offered a wide selection of good wines. Everything went smoothly, and the timing of the dishes was perfect. The interior was stylish and modern. The desserts were a highlight of the evening. A restaurant I would happily return to.

Most demotivated staff I've ever seen in a restaurant unfortunately. We went there on a Tuesday around 5:30pm, three other tables had guests. They seemed to be preparing to close which seemed weird as it is open until 9pm. Waitress told us ramen is not available, we asked for rice/noodles with tofu - also not available. Then we asked "what from the menu IS available to which she replied "only the poke bowls". Also three of our original drink choices were not available. Food came fast and was okay. But later we saw people getting ramen who ordered it AFTER us. Absolutely do not recommend going there.

Carlos was super friendly and kind. Perfect quiet spot to come in the early afternoon for a coffee. Nice cocktails and Asian inspired menu for the evening!

Ordered two beef rice, one ramen and one poke. Beef rice was made of frozen rice and vegetable, then microwaved ( maybe except the beef) No wonder the bowl was sooo hot I lost faith in the google review after this restaurant in Amsterdam.

The food took forever to be served. Most orders were served wrong the first time around. The waiters were slow and the food wasn’t that great.

I was at this place with a group of friends, and we also noticed that the girl doesn't speak English and doesn't know the drinks! This was an unpleasant experience because the place is nice and the food is delicious, but communication is important! They should hire people with similar experience at the same level.

In an office lunch of over 15 people, many of us felt the same. Half of the menu was not available, the rice bowl with tofu had barely unfrozen corn and other tiny veggies, completely dry, no sauce, and the rice was either very old of half uncooked.

We tried the burgers, gyoza, ramen and japanese sandwhiches. Everything was delicious and the staff was friendly.

Burgers have poor quality meat and are overcooked. Otherwise, the burger is ok, but not acceptable at this price point. The tables are also dirty and there are flies everywhere

I think they close a bit early in the evening, so I usually prefer coming here for lunch. Everything on the menu is excellent. Even though you can find pancake restaurants almost everywhere in Amsterdam, this is the most delicious one I’ve ever had. The staff are attentive and friendly. Thank you!

Nice atmosphere, comfortable for working on the computer. I didn't try the Wi-Fi, but I saw lots of people using computers. The food was delicious, and the waiter was very friendly.

The service was really nice and friendly (the only reason for the two stars), but the food was atrocious. The rice was literally microwaved (some parts were really hot, and others really cold, like fridge-cold), the chicken was almost undercooked, the "sauce" was just heated soy sauce. I specifically asked if the chicken was crispy, was told that it was indeed crispy, but it was the least crispy chicken I've ever had in my life. There was more (uncooked) chicken skin than chicken meat. It's hard to mess up such a simple dish (rice chicken) SO much; it was basically inedible.

Restaurant is located in a nice area. Benches however are falling apart. Service came across as blunt and slightly rude, despite being greated with manners. The breakfast XL costs 15 euro, but wasn't anything XL about it. A light meal. Had zero description. No sausage, beans, tomato etc We ordered breakfasts also, you would think a breakfast would be a smaller version of XL (bacon, egg, etc) but it was a croissant and a OJ with a coffee. For 8 euro, not the worst but if XL is meats why is the normal breakfast not just a smaller one? All in all not happy with the price we paid and quantity of food. Food we got was nice, just with zero description it leads you down a path of expecting more but getting less. Would not come again

Had breakfast here yesterday. It's available until 11:30. I had the extra-large breakfast, which cost 15 euros. You wouldn't call it breakfast if you look at the bread. It's just plain white toasted bread. If you order the small breakfast for 8 euros, you get a croissant, orange juice, and a hot drink. It's still annoying that the staff only speak English.

The selection is clear, the food looks good, tastes great, and the portions are generous. The pleasant ambiance is enhanced by music, which is unfortunately a bit too loud. As the only guests, we had to wait 30 minutes for four hot drinks; the water we ordered only arrived upon request.

A great find near the station. Flavours By Han offers an interesting mix of street food and oriental dishes, perfect for a proper breakfast or lunch. They also serve specialty coffee, including chai, matcha and the usual classics. I tried the japanese chicken sandwich and it was delicious – generous enough to be a full meal on its own. A solid option if you’re nearby and want something more authentic than the typical tourist spots. Definitely worth a visit!

Europeans are laid back. The service in the restaurant is slow from start to finish. It wouldn't be 5-star by Japanese standards, but this is the Netherlands, so it's fine. It's in front of the station and the hotel, so the location is great, the food isn't too expensive, and the breakfast set is on the cheaper side at 8 euros. They also serve breakfast sets until 11:30. The restaurant is spacious and bright. There are Chinese or Japanese paintings on the walls. As a Chinese person who has lived in Japan for a long time, I couldn't understand them, so I asked the staff, but they said they didn't know. Anyway, it's a strange painting. The food is very delicious. I ordered a salmon sandwich, with smoked salmon slices on a rectangular toaster, and it was delicious. If I ever stay at a nearby hotel again, I'd like to stop by.

We ordered 2 croissants and latte. It took them 13 minutes to tell us they had 1 croissant.

Excellent service. I enjoyed the burger which was tasty and well prepared, and a beer. Friendly staff. Only downside to me is that it’s pricy.

Very nice atmosphere and service and convenient location. The matcha was not the best quality (a bit chalky), but it was whisked well and foamy. The smashed avocado toast was a good portion but tasted just okay. It was covered in olive oil and mainly just tasted like the oil. The avocados seemed to be pre made puréed avocado, I wouldn’t call it smashed.

It says it closes at 15.00, walked in for cappuccinos at 2.40 the girls said the coffee machine is already closed. Bad management in this place, employees seem to close earlier than schedule!

Worst service ever, the waiter didn't want to give me the table i wanted because “that part of the restaurant was clean” and wanted to put me close to the other customers in a bunch, who also had no space. Would have to know how the food taste but didn’t get a chance to find out due the horrible service.

The service was really not attentive, the two girls working were paying attention to none of the costumers and they had a really arrogant vibe. Long wait for the drinks and I found flies in my thee. Drinks without the under plate or sugar in the side. The food was nothing special but at least the chef was nice and good with us ,he even cleaned up our table. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant.

Unfortunately, it was not a pleasant stay. Quite the opposite. Not only were our two milk coffees incredibly watery, but the waiter was also incredibly unfriendly and arrogant. We've never experienced anything like it. Can't recommend it to anyone.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this café. The coffee was far too hot and of extremely poor quality – nowhere near what you'd expect for the price. The wait time was especially frustrating: 15 minutes for a single coffee is simply unacceptable. The service was equally disappointing. The barista, who seemed to care more about his appearance than his work, was incredibly slow and came across as arrogant. On top of that, the pricing was completely unclear – we ordered three cappuccinos, and each was charged at a different price without any explanation. My verdict: Take a short walk to Sloterdijk Station instead and enjoy a decent cup of coffee there. This café is definitely not worth a second visit.

Food is good. I ate here twice and the first time I was greeted warmly by a waitress and everything was great. The second time I waited for a long time, and finally a waiter came over. I was about to order, but he told me that they would close in ten minutes. It was two o'clock on Monday afternoon, and there were obviously many customers in the restaurant. I felt strange and left the restaurant. About half an hour later I passed by there again and there were still many people eating there. This is really weird.

Food is average at best and way overpriced. 16€ for a sandwich, 20€ for a burger, LOL. 😂 Took a good 10 mins for us to order, food took so long in the end, that we had to cancel it because we had to catch a train. It’s not possible to get an egg at 12:00 on a Sunday and they were out of orange juice as well. Not well organized. Wouldn’t recommend. Waiter was friendly though.

Avocado toast was very good! Service was kind and especially the service person wearing eyeglasses was very friendly and helpful. A bit pricey but overall good option for late breakfast in the area.

Edit: last time we went there, there was mould on one of the sandwiches. This is a no go! Went there for lunch with colleagues and I had the Jack Daniel’s burger which was very tasty. Colleagues were also happy with their order, which doesn’t happen often in the Sloterdijk area.

Since I was staying nearby, I went there twice. Hamburgers and mysterious ramen. The atmosphere of the store was good, and the hospitality of the female staff wearing glasses was great. The wifi is super fast.

Cute little restaurant, but that's it. You pay 25 euros for a plate, which is okay, nothing special. We actually wanted to order an ice cream, but it took 20 minutes before the service came again. The kitchen was closed, nice that it was reported. You should also not count on the waiter coming to ask if you would like something to drink, as they are busier chatting with the chef.

We had a couple of great flat whites here on quiet mornings (it is across the learnerdriverplein from our hotel) but this Saturday the wheels fell off with some drama behind the counter and we waiting 20 mins for a coffee that was weak and barely warm.

The dishes are really very good, but there is a lot of waiting once the dishes are ordered, even if the room is not full. Which suggests that the dishes are made one by one. At the time of the bill (172 euros for 6 people), categorical refusal to divide the bill. One of us had to pay for everyone, which was quite unpleasant after spending 2.5 hours there for a simple lunch.

One of the best croissants I have ever had. Good cappuccini, too. I wish the cafe had opened earlier so that I could have gone again for more coffee (and croissants) during our stay in Amsterdam. Alas, on our earlier mornings, I had to settle for the brown water that is hotel room pod coffee.

We recently moved to the neighborhood and were hoping for a new coffee/lunch spot. We both work mostly at home and would love to find an extended living room. Coffee and service are both okay, nothing to complain, but value for money is absolutely not there. We ordered a sandwich for 16€ for lunch, we received a small bread with chicken and some lettuce and a handful of chips. Taste was decent but the plate should really not be more than 8/9€. It seems like the owner is trying to make the most amount of money from desperate tourists (Mercure is just across). There are 100% more reasonable options in the area, especially when you walk into Bos en Lommer. Not a recommendation from us

I had a Blue Cheese burger, and I felt it was overpriced for the quality. The bread was a bit soggy but that’s ok. Burger was nothing special, just a basic flavour, not juicy, just rubbery and no much taste. But the worse part was the blue cheese. It was super strong and hard. The flavour just overpower all other ingredients. The fries was ok, just standard. Mayo as basic as the ones you buy in any supermarket. Personally I find the price of this dish a stab for this quality. No love, no special taste, no justification for the cost.

Honestly the worst steak I had in my life. Or should I say „steak“. What was advertised as „entrecôte“ was merely some chunks of random beef (clearly not entrecôte) stuck on a skewer and totally overcooked. Hardly chewable. Service was slow too, and two of the guys on my table were simply not served food because their order was forgotten. Sub par dinner experience, avoid.

Two girls sat on there phones only asked for a drink order after 20 minutes and we had to wait another 35 minutes for them to even ask us if we wanted to eat as we were just about to get up and leave and when we ask for a food/drink they were rude and told us basically that we can get it ourselves that we didn’t mind but it wasn’t said politely or even in a full sentence just that it just felt she wanted to get back to her phone and we were wasting her time
