Lovely place especially for group dinner, drinks. Few options if you are looking for vegetarian food although. Nice vibe and great location in the city centre delft.

Too expensive for what you get. Lots of fat, lots of salt, and it's absolutely ridiculous that there are no vegetables or potatoes with the main course. For two, three courses for 155 euros.

We had to wait briefly at the entrance to be shown to our table, and then we were completely pampered. All the wait staff, including the kitchen crew, made our stay enjoyable and delicious!

The food was delicious. I made an online reservation for four people in the afternoon for an 8:15 PM table. At 9:30 PM, we were asked if we wanted dessert because the kitchen was closing. Very strange, because the last reservation you can make on a weekday is 9:15 PM. It was all very rushed. A shame. And then the waitress asked, "Do you want your change back?" If I want to tip you, I'll give it myself.

Could be improved. Affligem. I ordered twice, and they brought me a Texel beer, so I took that one too. I asked for gravy in a separate bowl, and it was served on the plate. The worst part was that the steak and gravy were lukewarm! It was quiet in the restaurant, and making these mistakes is a reason for me not to go there again. The fries and salad were excellent!

First time at Loetje. Delicious steak with plenty of gravy. Deliciously tender. The service was a bit lacking, but they were unexpectedly a bit understaffed. So they helped us as best they could. We wanted for nothing. The dessert was delicious. Loetje Delft is located in the former Arsenal. A beautiful location.

The food was excellent, very tasty, and the plate was full. The reception was mediocre. When asked if we could eat in the restaurant, we initially replied "I'd rather not," even though there were tables occupied. The only option was the noisy courtyard with its glass roof. The outdoor terrace was also undesirable. It was around 7:00 PM. When ordering drinks, we indicated that we wanted them served with our food. This request was ignored. When ordering our food, we requested a separate bill. This request was ignored. When paying, a separate bill was not possible. The service was generally disinterested. Not worth returning, despite the delicious food.

The salmon is highly recommended, and the garlic steak is the best! Nice, big place. Parking along the water.

Nice location in the historic center. Unfortunately, the terrace was closed despite the nice weather. The interior is also cozy with a high ceiling. The food was very good; the gravy was perfect with a little added salt. The tenderloin was very tender and delicious medium/rare. There were three of us and we wanted to order extra fries per person. However, the waiter said one portion was enough, and he was right. So props for this great tip!

The food is of high standard and the building is beautiful, however they lock up half of the restaurant when it isn’t full. The acoustics in the restaurant are then so bad, it’s incredibly noisy. They really need to fix this, as it ruins the atmosphere significantly, and talking to your friends/family. You’ll then be very happy to leave the place again, which is a pity. Get some acoustics panels placed, guys!

First time at Loetje. Fantastic location. I secretly expected a bit more from Loetje's steak, but that's just personal preference. Still, 3.5 stars.

The food was delicious. The eel toast as a starter is highly recommended. The steak was superb again, as were the fries. The crème brûlée for dessert was also fantastic.

Came here as the building (a former arsenal) looked nice, but the food & service were a big let-down. Didn't risk the house speciality - steak swimming in gravy (which you are supposed to mop up with half a loaf of white sliced bread) - but went for a chicken burger and a standard burger (€19.50 each - without chips!). Yum yum - a tender chicken breast with a crispy coating and some tasty freshly minced beef! But sadly no - this was undefined chicken served with a sauce which had a skin and which you could hold upside down. The tasteless rubbery beef resembled a piece of grey plastic. When I let the manager know that we were very disappointed, his response was to apologise for the plastic sauce and hand us a bill for the full amount. Putting aside the over-priced and poor quality food, the basic concepts of service seem to be missing in this restaurant - a warm greeting, a follow-up after your food has been delivered to check that everything is OK and, last but not least, understanding and responding to customer feedback. This is probably a nice place to come for a glass of wine, to be followed by a decent meal at Burger King.

I’ve heard a lot about Loetje’s steak, and now I can confirm. It was so good. It became our new favourite steak spot in Delft. Make sure to book upfront.

Last night, the two of us went out for dinner at Loetje Delft. Unfortunately, it was far from pleasant. My partner's steak was prepared incorrectly three times: first overcooked, then overcooked again, and then raw and cold on the inside. No apologies were offered at any of these times; the plate was taken away without mercy. The atmosphere did not improve when we heard laughter from the kitchen from our seat, while we indicated that the food was not good. In the end, my partner only got his correct steak when I had already finished eating. The service was largely unfriendly, except for one lady. When paying (74.25 euros) we gave 2x50 euros, but only got 15 euros back. When we asked about the remaining amount, we were told: "We don't do change." It was only 75 cents, but the principle says it all. We are fans of Loetje, but after this evening we will never go to Delft again. Too bad.

After 35 minutes still no one came to take a drink order. After a lot of waving someone finally came. Then the drink still didn't come. When it came there was no glass for my beer. Waited a very long time for the food. Asked for the bill, it didn't come then got up myself to pay. I got the wrong bill. Staff only stands around chatting with each other and has 0 eye for the customer.

Amazing! Must go!!! The place is really huge and food was very very nice. Surprisingly for this country, they serve plenty of toast bread with many of the dishes. Burger was not better than average but the steak the eel and salads totally worth it!

Really enjoyed sitting on the terrace by the water. I had the specials: the Bali chicken burger and the ‘bokkenpootjes’ for dessert. Both were delicious. Service was a bit slow though, could’ve been quicker.

Last Saturday we had dinner at Loetje Delf. Upon arrival we were given a table outside on the terrace in the full sun. After a while we asked if we could sit somewhere else because it was really too hot in the sun. No problem, we could sit along the facade of the building in the lovely shade. The starter, main course and dessert were delicious. Thanks for the excellent service, we will be back soon.

Too bad the hospitality and friendliness is minimal. We had made a reservation but were just dumped behind a bar. First time at Loetje Delft, I expected a much better reception. Edit: Good that you are going to twist it all. But that is not how it is. If you had read then you would have read that we had made a reservation. Our tables were outside in the cold and also behind a bar (which was not a bar but a place where your dishes and glasses were dropped). You can check it all again via the cameras. I remarked to the same unfriendly person that we should sit in the shade and that we wanted a different table anyway. He made a comment that he was not a weatherman, and that he could not do anything about the sun. Also a comment about what kind of beer I had to drink was no longer meant as a joke but more of a humiliating remark. In short it was very scandalous, I came from a 1.5 hour drive to Delft and that is the reception at Loetje. A very appropriate father's day gift for me, thank you. After this fatal reception, we were fortunate to get to know a number of your employees. These people handled it very neatly and friendly, and we were also able to leave your restaurant with joy. I advise you to replace your unfriendly employee at the reception immediately. Good luck with your restaurant.

Terrace was nice. Food arrived before drinks and it was tasteless

Dishes are fine, service is less. Half past six at the table and eight o'clock the main course takes too long. Reason was that we only had one starter for 1 person and that there was a group before us. After asking a few times about the main course, an irritated answer from the service. That is not good for your mood when I am hungry, after all you don't get it for free.

We went to the Loetje Delft 3 times during our 6 night stay. Except for a somewhat dry burger (likely due to food safe rules, not the fault of the chef) and a very crunchy veggie (beet) burger, all our meals were delicious. Most of the staff were welcoming, friendly and didn’t try to upsell us. One person, Charlie, stood out. We saw him all three evenings we were there. He was welcoming and friendly, gave us some good advice about the menu, and even helped us out the last evening when we did not have a reservation and, although it wasn’t busy, were unable to be seated at a table with standard height chairs (due to my husband’s disability, this is the most comfortable option). Thank you, Charlie for arranging that. Special people like you make a place a joy to visit. Keep up the great work!

What a disappointment, we were in Delft for lunch. And thought Loetje, we have to go there!! Chicken sambal sandwich had no taste, the sambal seemed to have been forgotten. The club sandwich was dry and not special. It is a beautiful location.

We were here for a business lunch. Top service! Top food and very good quality of the dishes. Price/performance ratio fits. We'd love to come back.

Het was mij bekend dat Loetje Delft een regelrechte ballentent is .Maar ondanks dat wilde het toch een keertje proberen. Bij het reserveren ging het al mis. Ik koos voor een reservering op zaterdag 19 april '25, toetste een vrij moment in van 19 uur in en kreeg een bevestiging dat ik kon reserveren om 18 uur. Dan moet je een code op halen in je mailbox, toen realiseerde ik mij de cliënt onvriendelijkheid van dit restaurant. Geachte directie van Loetje: ontsla deze gerant en hele brigade, gelet op de vele zeer negatieve recensies, een juiste stap en bouw weer op.

We came by spontaneously and even though the restaurant was fully booked, they were still able to make a spot for us. Now that's what I call service! The steak, as we are used to at other locations, is nice and tender and has a good taste! The service was also extremely friendly and our order was on the table in no time. Enjoyed it very much and really value for what you pay! Parking is easy in the nearby parking garage within walking distance. Recommended!!

Charming town, and of course royal delft !

We komen heel vaak bij Loetje maar in Delft gaat er toch iets mis in de service, kwaliteit en bereiding. Allereerst moet je heel lang wachten voordat iemand je komt helpen, zegt de ene collega dat je ergens mag gaan zitten en de andere van niet. We nemen altijd een medium plus die normaliter doormidden wordt gesneden en beide kanten gebakken maar nu was de ene kant doorbakken en de andere kant rauw. Er zaten veel vetjes aan de biefstuk. Toen we dit meldde aan de ober na de vraag of het gesmaakt had, tot onze verbazing kregen we als antwoord “jullie hebben het anders wel allemaal opgegeten”. Je kan op veel manieren reageren maar dit is niet de beste. Toen we vroegen hoe de keuken erop gereageerd heeft kregen we als antwoord dat het vlees 1 x in de 2 dagen geleverd wordt en dat de bereiding geen reden kan zijn dat het niet lekker is oftewel die reactie slaat nog kant nog wal. Wij zullen hier niet meer komen, erg zonde want de locatie is echt super🙏

Anne is the best employee there because she is very enthusiastic and friendly. Also there was a napkin on the floor and a few employees had already walked by and Anne came by once and picked it up right away😀

What poor service, we wanted to eat with 4 people yesterday but reservations were made from 3pm. The gentleman did not feel like giving us the table at 12.30 pm. Decided to have a nice meal at Moodz, much better staff and friendlier. The food was also great!

Ate with a group on Saturday evening, first you have to wait fifteen minutes at the entrance for someone to take you to your table. Then waited more than half an hour for the recording for your first drinks. Serving the drinks took about 15 minutes. Another half hour wait for food to be taken and after 45 minutes the food arrived, wrong dishes, indicated that I had not ordered, very irritated waitress. Food is of poor quality, plates not preheated, a lot of salt used. We had to ask ourselves if we could have something to drink. This is downright not good at Loetje Delft. I will never go here again, since this is the 3rd time I have had this experience with Loetje Delft. Prices are also really high for the quality and quantity. And of course you can also order everything separately to earn extra money.

Loetje Delft is een waardeloos restaurant. Bij binnenkomst laten ze je lekker tijdje staan, daar mag je een half uur op je drinken wachten, daarna een uur verder voordat je je eten krijgt. Niet goed gegaan, serveerster reageert ronduit schandalig door eigen fout. Om drinken moet je vragen, want klantvriendelijkheid is er niet. Je eten wordt geserveerd op een koud bord, resultaat lauw eten. Echt bizar hoeveel zout ze in een gerecht kunnen dumpen, wil je frietjes of wat anders erbij, ah tuurlijk mag je los erbij bestellen en de hoofdprijs voor betalen. Dan krijg je de rekeningen en dan voel je je echt opgelicht, voor wat je hebt gekregen. Dit is niet eens restaurant waardig. Tip ga lekker naar de slager haal daar een goed stuk vlees en maakt het tijd klaar, houdt je ook stapels geld over….. waarom zou de horeca niet goed draaien, ga bij Loetje eten en je weet waarom….

For a delicious steak you really have to go to Loetje. Beautiful restaurant, friendly staff and what more could you want...don't forget the desserts!

Had dinner at Loetje Delft on a busy Friday evening. Although all tables were occupied and staff were visibly busy, the quality of food and friendly service did not suffer. Steaks were cooked perfectly as well as the hand made cocktails were of good standard. The restaurant part in the building (from the 16th century) was attractively and comfortably furnished, with the old architecture and the modern interior complementing each other perfectly. The dishes on the menu are on the pricey side, but the good service and beautiful and special decor make up for a lot and are worth it. Resume a great place for a pleasant evening of dining for friends/family or a romantic date.

The quality of the food and the service provided do not justify the price you pay. The waiters are in a hurry and pushing you to order more. The tuna steak did not go well with the gravy. It was surprising to find out they don't offer oat, soy, or almond milk as an alternative to regular milk.

Had a great meal at Loetje in Delft, taking advantage of the AH promotion for €32.50 for a three-course menu. We started with a delicious carpaccio as a starter, followed by the famous Loetje steak as a main course and a tasty crème brûlée for dessert. All dishes were tasty and well prepared. The only downside was that the steak was unfortunately not very warm when it was served. Furthermore, the restaurant is a beautiful business, located in the heart of the pleasant center of Delft. Walking distance from the Station (5 minutes). All in all a great experience and definitely worth it!

On my birthday I decided to eat at Loetje Delft instead of Rotterdam. I had made a reservation for 7:30 PM. At 8.15 pm we (4 persons) still did not have our food. When I asked the waitress where the food was, she told me that it was very busy in the kitchen and that I should "relax". We finally got our food at 8:30 PM without any apologies or further explanation. Bad service and not worth repeating!

Took the steak Bali. Don't know what went wrong, but noticed little sambal. Extremely salty! I also thought prices were a bit on the high side. Lettuce and fries must be ordered extra! Location very beautiful.

Great shop, Loetje Delft. Beautiful building, beautiful decor. Food is great, steak is really perfect. Side dishes are okay. Price a bit high but then you also have a nice atmosphere and evening. Not intimate but fine. I give this restaurant an overall rating of 8, which is great for a franchise.

Made reservations twice for a weekday and were canceled twice asking if we wanted to eat at one of the other locations. Once there was something with the gas and today something with the water. Could be a coincidence, but my gut feeling tells me that something else is going on... so I'd better have a bite to eat somewhere else in Delft.

Ongelofelijk hoe je behandelt wordt. Na binnenkomst moet je al opzij schuiven om de deur te sluiten. Stonden al 4 mensen te wachten bij de balie. Meteen rechts ernaast staan al 2 tafels waar de mensen met hun jas aan zitten! Je begrijpt wel waarom. Vlak achter de balie zit schijnbaar de keuken Het is daar een af en aan geloop van bediening die erg hun best doen om niet naar de ingang te kijken. Na echt hele lange tijd zeker 5 minuten waarbij iemand ook stond te wachten om af te rekenen komt er eindelijk iemand langs die in het voorbijgaan over zijn schouder roept dat hij er zo aankomt dat zo is ook relatief Hij mag daarna afrekenen moet nog wel even vertellen wat ze gedronken hebben, krijgt een paar vette knipogen en mag op een omgekeerde display pinnen Dan mogen de 4 man mee zonder de rest van de rij maar een blik waardig te gunnen Vervolgens blijft hij nog weg om tafels te gaan dekken terwijl er mega veel lege plekken zijn Als we daar naartoe lopen met de vraag of we nu ook ergens mogen zitten loopt die kale lapzwans geërgerd weg. Wij dus ook Daarna even doorgelopen naar de Waag waar ze wel weten hoe het hoort

Had a delicious dinner at Loetje Delft tonight. We entered and were immediately greeted kindly by the friendly host. In addition, the drinks came quickly and the food was served after a nice time. Very pleasant staff who make a night out worth eating. I would recommend everyone to stop by and taste the delicious seasonal lemonade. A big 10/10.

The food was substandard. The satay was hard and dry. The satay sauce seemed burnt. The hamburger was very greasy, which made the bun soggy.

Unfortunately, this experience was less than I am used to from Loetje. The starter was meager and we only got a small piece of bread with the Buratta. The steak was again very popular. We didn't have a chance to tip yet, but then the lady asked if we could add some...💸

Had a delicious meal with friends here. However, the entire atmosphere died down when the bill arrived... When we looked at the bill and wanted to pay by card, we were not given the chance to say that we could add some money as a tip. It was immediately said “is there anything we can add?” I have never experienced this before and I think it is brutal that you ask for extra money with the bill.
