We chose the high tea via Kruidvat. We received plenty and the tea was constantly refilled, but it was too sweet for us. Perhaps it would be a good idea to mention that a (rich) dessert is coming.

Had high tea here today. This is highly recommended. You get a lot of delicious treats here and great value for money. They also specially decorated the table nicely, when I mentioned this in advance when making the reservation. The manager was very friendly and is really suited for this job. I'd say it was a wonderful experience ♥️

Well-prepared high tea in a very cozy restaurant. 6 different types of tea, many snacks, both savory and sweet. We would have preferred to exchange one sweet item for another savory one, though. The staff is very friendly and comes by regularly to ask if anything is needed. The tea is refilled on time. We had a lovely afternoon at your place!

Saturday evening, two tables were occupied, yet we were told they had to check if there was a spot available. The service was not at all up to standard. I don't know if this is because we were tanned, but this definitely gets a 0. The staff started talking about us amongst themselves, unaware that we could hear everything. And as the icing on the cake, we saw the kitchen staff licking their fingers clean. THIS IS VERY DISGUSTING. After we paid for our drinks, we left immediately following this bad experience. As we walked away, the staff started talking about us together again. BAD SERVICE. I will never come back here again…….

Had a great dinner here with 2 of my children. The food was great with salmon and tournedos. All of us enjoyed it. One thing that wasn't positive was the total bill. Given that we didn't have alcoholic drinks, no appetizers (ok we had one portion of bread), and only one dessert and 2 normal coffees, I thought the bill of €49 per head was somewhat steep. However we didn't let this spoil the evening given the nice evening and good experience we had.

I've been to De Beren in Delft several times. This time, using a Kruidvat voucher, they offered a wide selection of three-course meals. The service was friendly, and the food was served promptly. Highly recommended!

We enjoyed the three-course menu, with shrimp as a starter, salmon as a main course and the dame blanche for dessert.

The service was friendly and the food was satisfying. The table space was spacious, so I had a leisurely meal.

Surprisingly quiet for a Saturday night. Only a few tables occupied. The staff tried their very best, but occasionally the delivery faltered for both the starter and the dessert. The toilets were terribly filthy.

Nice atmosphere and good for people with allergies. The fryer is completely gluten-free, so even people with celiac disease can eat fries 🙌🏻

Dirty plates, which we reported but received no response. Disinterested staff, and to top it all off, three adults and two children with diarrhea. I will never return here again.

We ate here on Boxing Day with six people. While eating, we noticed that the bottoms of the plates for the appetizer were very dirty. We immediately reported this and asked for a manager, but they didn't show up. We also mentioned that we wanted clean plates for the main course, but unfortunately, the bottoms were also dirty. After an hour, we had stomach aches and diarrhea. We will never return here.

On Boxing Day, we went to De Beren in Delft. The restaurant was packed for two sittings on this festive evening. Huge compliments for the atmosphere and organization. It went off without a hitch, with excellent and friendly service and delicious food. An excellent three-course meal for a reasonable price. 🏆 Fantastic!

The food was ok, probably not worth the price. I found the consistency of the burger off-putting. Worst part was the service... Everyone was very nice, but the food took ages.

I would like to suggest that the restaurant management take urgent action to improve the hygiene of the dining room. And I won't add anything else.

It's a shame the fries are unsalted. Not even upon request. If you add them too late, for example, after they're already on the table, the salt won't stick to the fries. Otherwise, the service was very helpful and friendly.

We eat here regularly. The quality is excellent. And the price is good too. It costs around €50 per person, which is really affordable. The easiest place to park is at the Markt parking garage. From there, it's a short walk.

What a fantastic restaurant! I have a gluten allergy, and they really took that into account. Our hostess, Soraya, was incredibly helpful and such a friendly woman, a true asset to the restaurant. She made us feel truly welcome. The cuisine was nothing but praise. The satay was so fresh and delicious, and my husband and daughter absolutely loved the apple crumble; it was so fresh and not dry. In short, we had a wonderful time and will definitely be back soon!

It's a shame about the completely disinterested waitress who gave us the impression she wanted to be anywhere but here; everything was too much. Otherwise, the food was delicious and the atmosphere (surroundings) good. But I wouldn't come back here anytime soon; I didn't feel very welcome.

We had a three-course dinner. The food was good, and the service was friendly. What we found disappointing was the three-course dinner price. We read it was €29.95. When we paid, additional amounts were added. Later, we saw that the surcharge was shown in small numbers. €5 extra for salmon, €2 for cappuccino, and €2 for sweet potato fries. We find that misleading/a mistake. Then raise the price a bit. But don't charge more. Very disappointing. My husband and I won't be back.

The place is nicely decorated and feels fairly clean, though you can tell a lot of guests have passed through. We were greeted by a friendly waitress, but service was on the slow side. I can recommend the set menu, which includes a starter, main course, and dessert. It's €30. You can choose between six dishes for each course. Individual dishes are about €10-15 more expensive. Everything is perfect here. The service is very friendly. The price/performance ratio is very good. I'm on vacation in Amsterdam and ended up here by chance for the first time. I came back a day later, especially for the occasion.

We came on a Monday where they usually don't have lots of people, so the service was good and fast. The food wasn't very expensive but not very cheap either, and it came pretty quick . I was planning on taking photos, but it looked so good that I completely forgot to do so😂 The lady helping us was very sweet and helpful, we tired her a bit but she didn't complain or show any signs of tiredness at all. Honestly it was a magnificent experience, and I urge you to come here, and you should definitely order the ribs

Worst restaurant I’ve ever been to. Food delivery is the slowest I’ve seen in the Netherlands. It feels like you’re sitting in an old Soviet cafeteria, hardly any food choices, and they take forever on purpose just to make you hungrier. Then they ask you multiple times if you want a tiny 150 ml drink that costs three times more than in the store. Just avoid it. Not worth your time or money.

Food was mediocre and service downright bad. It started with the first drink dying out and a girl brought the drinks with a face as if she was forced to work here. She could not hold the tray with one hand, so she placed it on the head of the table and passed the drinks across the table. This was no different when the starter was finished and then the wait for the main course was extremely long and when it arrived it was served in the same way again. When someone from the group accidentally knocked over her glass, we hoped that someone would come to dry it, but no, one of the children went to the counter to say that a glass had fallen over and was given a stack of napkins to dry it. When the staff came back to the table, they asked (which shouldn't have been necessary) if they wanted to put a cloth over it to prevent sticking, which was done with a stormy face on their face and they just left the wet napkins behind when clearing the main course. I was asked if I had enjoyed it, I replied with there was something to complain about, and before I could say what, the girl disappeared again without asking what then. Then I ordered dessert and that also took a very long time and then after about After asking 40 minutes to see if the dessert was ready, they finally brought it up, but of course there was 1 dessert too little. They would arrange that, but that took more than 15 minutes, so the rest of the group had already finished their dessert when I was served mine. Very unprofessional. Then I sat for at least 50 minutes after dining without anyone being at the table to ask if we wanted anything. In the end, we went to the restaurant ourselves. I went to the counter to pay and just returned home with screeching tires. A tip for the owner, in addition to all those 16 year old girls with no catering experience, add a few good people who can manage those girls and teach them how things should be in the catering industry. And to start with, teach them to help customers with a smile Was the last time there for a while

Excellent, smooth and friendly service! A big 10. Only the three-course menu is too meager. Very well made indeed! But not that many choices actually. No option to choose anything else. For sweet potatoes you have to pay separately. Actually it should be free. A 9 as a number. That vegetarian dish (see photo) was great!

We regularly eat at one of the bear restaurants with our 7-year-old daughters. Today in Delft. The service was really substandard, it took a really long time for drinks to be taken and after that for an hour and a half we were not asked once if we wanted something to drink. The bread board did not arrive so we asked, once it was ready the main course arrived after 1 minute and the waitress wanted to take the bread board back with it half touched. Spare ribs, ketjap, cornstarch/flour can be tasted in the ketjap marinade. Fries not crispy and pale. The daughter's ice creams did not arrive either, but they left and were reported at checkout. We will skip these bears next time.
