Enjoyed high tea! It was delicious and well-organized. Friendly staff. We had a lovely afternoon. A cozy spot in Sneek.

I walked in at 4:53 PM for one drink but wasn't helped. You're open, so you're supposed to help people.

It's a messy restaurant, and the food definitely wasn't what I expected. A plain white plate, with the salad on it looking very messy. Definitely won't be back. Outside looks nice, but inside, there's a lot going on.

The food is very bad and expensive. (It was burnt). There are so many tables and chairs inside that you can't walk normally. And you almost trip over them. Absolutely not recommended! It was much better two years ago. It's a shame it's gotten so bad.

A very cozy little restaurant, a coffee stop for us. Delicious cake and coffee. The large coffee is truly enormous and delicious. I would go back just for Nana's coffee (probably with carrot cake again 😍). The only downside is that there are so many tables and chairs. If I were the owner, I would definitely remove a few. Unfortunately, I didn't take any pictures.

We had a wonderful lunch here. The exterior of this restaurant screams "come on in!" It was so inviting. Inside, we were absolutely not disappointed.

What a disappointment! Waited 2 hours, the fries were cold! They forgot the peanut sauce, and then you order 6 beers for 20 euros! You expect them to be cold! In short, a very bad experience. Don't order!

The food was quite basic, and the pancakes were a failure. The bread-to-topping ratio of the sandwich was off. Otherwise, it tasted good.

We've ordered from Loof many times. It started out great, but it gradually got worse over time. Coffee and smoothies were often half-empty during delivery. Half-full containers of sweet potato fries were sometimes incredibly stale. Delivery usually took a long time, and the delivery driver we usually had was always very grumpy and almost antisocial (we even had to call once because our order hadn't arrived after two hours. We were told the football match had finished and it would take a bit longer, but we didn't receive our order until almost three hours later!). We ordered again after a while. The smoothie was perfect, and the delivery driver was also nice and friendly. Unfortunately, the rolls were extremely dry and hard; it was like they'd used stale bread from yesterday or the day before. Unfortunately, the price-quality ratio isn't what it used to be. You pay a lot, and you expect it to be good. This is probably the last time we order from here.

We were here for lunch. I asked for a slice of lemon for my Coke Zero. After asking twice, I got a few peels. The food wasn't anything special. What was unusual was the high price they charge for it. In short, not recommended.

The staff went to great lengths to accommodate our allergies. The overall impression of the service was still very poor. We had to ask for the table to be cleaned three times, part of our order wasn't brought, and no spoon was brought for the soup. It was only brought after we asked again and after two-thirds of the soup had been eaten with a teaspoon.

This is the most beautiful place in the entire Northern Hemisphere, with the most beautiful people in the world and the most delicious food you've ever tasted. I'd love to live here.

The restaurant looked very inviting, but it was way too crowded. If all the tables were occupied, you wouldn't even be able to walk between them. Not wheelchair accessible! The toilet is on the ground floor, and you have to climb stairs to pay. And you can't even fit between the tables. Despite only a few tables being occupied, the service was rather chaotic and stressful, which wasn't necessary at all, because it goes faster if you stay calm. Otherwise, it was friendly. You could hear a chef speaking in utter English like "Louis van Gaal," and a certain Joost was also frequently criticized in the kitchen. There was also some cursing, which we all heard from our table. The food arrived quite quickly and was fine. But I thought it was overpriced for what you get, and the atmosphere wasn't very pleasant. I wouldn't eat there again.

I had two coffees and a pastry at Loof today. The coffee was half full, and the apple pie was absolutely inedible. It tasted like it came from a supermarket. Plus, we had to wait an incredibly long time. I won't be eating there again.

We ordered two toasted sandwiches, a soup menu, and a carpaccio sandwich. We had to wait almost an hour for lunch. When it finally arrived, we were a bit disappointed. The children's toasted sandwiches were fine, but the soup menu wasn't great. It felt like a simple canned soup. The carpaccio sandwich wasn't great either. There wasn't enough sauce and it wasn't carefully prepared. The lunch counter looked nice, but that's about it. Looking for a truly delicious lunch? Just walk over to Brownies & Downies.

This company buys reviews. When I went to pay, there was a sign at the cash register saying "if you write a 5-star review, you'll get a €10 discount." So, here's a 1-star :) The restaurant is nicely decorated, but that's about it. The food was incredibly overpriced. I had the 22.50 leaf burger. It looked like it was just a frozen Mora burger. It also took a very long time to arrive. No matter how nice it looks from the outside, I wouldn't eat there.

Lovely place, great find with friendly and welcoming staff - tasty sandwiches- we tried the falafel dream and the caprese one,followed by a banana bread and a lemon blueberry vegan bar!! We are definitely coming back and our dog Beany approved it too

Terrible. Ordered two sandwiches through Thuisbezorgd at 1:30 PM. After an hour, they still hadn't arrived, so I called. The answer I got was: it had just left and was on its way. Which apparently was a lie for reassurance, because it finally arrived at 3:10 PM. So we had to wait an hour and 40 minutes for two sandwiches. The sandwiches were supposed to be warm, and both were cold! Truly outrageous.

Wij zochten een leuke plek om lekker te ontbijten, liefst gezond en niet al te groot qua zaak.... nou gevonden hoor. Loof zit midden in het winkelgebied, een fleurig en kleurig pand. Medewerkers vriendelijk , we hadden een zwak voor de kersverse meneer die net nieuw is en nog wat zoekende was..meneer u komt er wel met uw vrolijke noot..:-) Hele uitgebreide kaart qua ontbijt en lunch wij kozen voor een ontbijt(je) . We hebben gewoon lekker gegeten, het zat vooral heel gezellig en we komen vast nog eens terug

When paying with cash, the exact amount had to be paid, there was no change available which is very strange. We were lucky that we had more cash with us but of course this is not a service, it was also 10 to 5 so it probably had to do with the fact that she wanted to go home quickly.. I have never experienced this before and I hope that something will be done about this, because not everyone has the exact amount with them. You are also legally obliged to report this in advance and that was only done when paying, I would like to see what you can do for me.

We called for lunch while visiting Sneek. Far too many tables crammed in as we entered so we went downstairs. We ordered coffees, avocado on toast and a mozzarella toastie. Waiter was struggling with his device, when food arrived it was 2 avocado, despite us pointing to the mozzarella on the menu to avoid confusion! He said it was his error, asked if we’d accept the avocado then tried to tell us that’s what we had ordered! We assured him it wasn’t! When it arrived it was tasteless. Coffees and avocado were ok. Service wasn’t! Cleanliness wasn’t great either.

A very nice café in the center of Sneek with a cozy interior. The cake was delicious. The tea and coffee were okay. Unfortunately, the service is truly abysmal. Friendly, but also extremely slow and disorganized. It took 20 minutes for us to order two drinks and a cake, and another 30 minutes for the two drinks to arrive at our table. A piece of cake arrived another 15 minutes later. In the meantime, we had ordered a second piece of cake (exactly the same cake!!). First, one piece arrived, and the second 20 minutes later, even though it was right next to it in the display case. This happened not only to us, but also to all the other guests, some of whom canceled their orders in frustration. A real shame for such a lovely café.

Had a great meal at Loof! The lunch menu offers original choices and everything is freshly prepared. We had the ‘Bali fries’ and an omelette – both tasty and beautifully presented. The atmosphere is relaxed and the service really thinks along with you. As far as I’m concerned, Loof deserves a permanent spot in the centre of Sneek!

Lovely people work here, a business where staff still takes time for you but also takes time for your food. It can sometimes take a little longer, but for quality I would definitely do it every lunch!

We had coffee downstairs with something on the side. 4.75 for a dry piece of banana bread and brownie with whipped cream...it was already weak when served. Coffee was good though! Later found out that we were next to the toilets. It was busy so we had no choice...people walking in and out, a lot of noise. Better luck next time!

Loof is truly a gem! The interior is warm and inviting, and the staff is super hospitable. My cappuccino was perfect and the cake was delicious. You can tell that there is attention to detail, both in the kitchen and in the service. Absolutely recommended for a cozy lunch or coffee moment!

What a lovely spot in Sneek! The atmosphere is cosy and stylish, with nice music in the background. We had lunch in the conservatory and enjoyed a flatbread with avocado and a homemade smoothie – both great! The service was friendly and attentive. We will definitely come back here!

Delicious food, nice atmosphere!

Today I ordered 2 sandwiches and a sweet potato via home delivery. Had to wait half an hour! Tried to call foliage. I called 6 times! And my husband 2 or 3 times. They didn't answer. My husband's sandwich was warm and mine was damp and sticky and not warm. Fries were cold and mayo also tasted weird so I didn't eat them. Daaaag 27 euros!

The ham cheese bouncer, where the cheese and ham were served cold under the bouncer so that you had cold bouncers. The service was difficult. We tipped but the best man added extra himself. The atmosphere is nice and beautiful, the music is terrible and yes, the food isn't that good either, so unfortunately we expected otherwise. Perhaps this feedback will help improve.

Chaotic service, lukewarm coffee, dirty coffee cup and no effort at all to help with a gluten-free lunch option from the menu. They do not 'sell' tap water. We were more or less discarded and then went to eat somewhere else. Not recommended, especially if you want to eat gluten-free.

It is an attractive and cozy lunchroom, very nicely decorated and the background music is easy listening and light jazz, not played too loudly. The host was friendly. I ordered a soup (tomato, smoked paprika) with a bread basket. It was very nicely described on the menu, but it was a bit disappointing...the soup was not really hot and I received 1 slice of bread that was cut diagonally with some butter. The soup was also not finished with some parsley or something. It was bare. I paid Euro 8.95 for it, quite pricey for what you get. The decor makes up for a lot by the way

This was absolute insolence. First we order hot drinks and they are brought as cold drinks, so we are charged even more. Then when paying, €6.50 is simply added to the price, even though it costs €4.8 and upon mentioning the wrong charge, money is still simply added to the actual amount. This is really a bad performance and an impertinence to jerk off customers like this!

Went in just before closing time for a coffee and something to eat. Excellent service, ditto quality. Although they were extremely friendly, you almost felt too much... everything had already been tidied up and cleaned. We were also the only guests. . .

What a crappy restaurant. Once and never again. I ordered tea, only received water, the tea was forgotten and after 15 minutes the water is already cold and the tea bag arrives. Sorry forgot. What a mockery. .

De bestelling voor ons drankje werd opgenomen door een netjes ogende jongen maar zijn flink lange gele en vieze nagels vond ik zeer ongepast. Wij hebben zo'n 15 tot 20 minuten gewacht op het drinken, de warme chocolademelk van mijn zoon was lauw, tegen het koude aan. Inmiddels had een andere jongen in zijn zwart verwassen shirt onze lunchbestelling opgenomen, vriendelijk was hij wel. Na weer enige tijd werd de lunch geserveerd. Mijn gekozen geitenkaas-salade was wat karig maar wel smaakvol. De pancakes 'du leche' die mijn beide kinderen hadden gekozen waren zo enorm dik belegd met de karamelsubstantie dat de pancakes er bij in het niets vielen, het was dusdanig dik dat de jongste het amper door zijn keel kreeg en het daardoor ook niet lekker vond. Het nut van de welgeteld drie sliertjes aardbei begreep ik ook niet. In al die tijd verder geen bediening meer gezien. De sfeer was niet fijn, ook doordat vele gasten om ons heen ook niet tevreden waren. De bediening die niet reageerde op de vrouw aan de tafel naast ons, maar ook de jongen daar weer achter heeft meermaals om bestek gevraagd voor zijn inmiddels koud geworden kroketten. Zijn vriendin kreeg gemberthee in plaats van muntthee en ook dat duurde even voordat het opgelost werd. We waren met zijn drietjes 58 euro verder voor drie drankjes en drie lunchgerechten, opzich is dat redelijk, maar voor ons absoluut geen waar voor ons geld.

Loof🌲 is attractive inside and out. Enough space. Cozy friendly hospitable staff. Good for lunch and a cup of coffee while shopping, for example. Enjoyed: cappuccino ☕️and the cheesecake with caramel was super delicious👍🍰 The teaspoons are for sale there.

Now that I think about it, it only makes me more irritated, but we had a really bad experience at this tent. First of all, we waited 1 hour and 15 minutes until we were told that our order had not been placed and that we therefore had to wait another 15 minutes. In the meantime we wanted to wait for something to drink, but that only came after we had received the food. When we finally got the food, the order was also wrong. The cheese on the flatbread was there even though we had specifically told us we did not want it, the warm ham was cold ham and the extra bacon on the avocado was cold. We ate this because we didn't want to wait any longer since we had already been there for almost 2 hours (for lunch). At checkout they made us pay the full price (70 euros for 3 people). No customer oriented service, too expensive for the quality of the food and lack of good hospitality.

1st impression: small, funny, cozy. There are 3 relatively small 'floors'. Various menu with lots of tasty things. For a change I felt like having a 'normal' bouncer. On delicious bread, and with everything that makes a tasty sandwich.

We hebben de Loof-lunch genomen en deze was heerlijk! Ruime keuze tussen de verschillende mogelijkheden, bord mooi gedresseerd, vol verse ingrediënten. Prijs-kwaliteit heel goed, in een eigenzinnig sfeervol ingerichte zaak. En ja, bediening heel vriendelijk en attent! Voor ons was het top!

Mijn vriendin en ik wilden even rustig een kop thee drinken met een gebakje erbij. De zaak leek gezellig, maar dat beeld veranderde snel. Na 15 minuten wachten vroegen we de bediening naar onze bestelling, waarop we een vage reactie kregen. Uiteindelijk werd gezegd dat het binnen 5 minuten zou komen, maar pas na 25 minuten kregen we te horen dat ze net begonnen waren met onze bestelling. Het gebakje van €4,50 bleek kleiner dan een petit fourtje en de smaak was allesbehalve bijzonder. Dit stond absoluut niet in verhouding tot de prijs. De bediening kwam afstandelijk over en legde nauwelijks contact, wat de sfeer er niet beter op maakte. Tot overmaat van ramp bleek bij een toiletbezoek dat het wc-papier op was. Al met al komt deze zaak pretentieus over, maar weet het de verwachtingen niet waar te maken. Helaas geen aanrader.

The food was good but we got the wrong food and we asked for matcha with oatmilk. We got matcha with normal milk.. and we ordered an avocado toast with egg, we got the one with avocado and fruit. It was delicious though

Spontaneously walked in for lunch. Very cozy atmosphere. Had a really delicious Flatbread Avocado. It was ready quickly and the service was very friendly and helpful. Worth repeating.

Very nice lunch! There is a pleasant atmosphere, the interior is very cozy and the staff is nice and polite. An extensive menu with seasonal dishes for a nice price. The food and drinks were delicious! The Bali smoothie is highly recommended. We will definitely come back!

Absolute disappointment We were extremely excited given the enormous charm of the property. The terrace was cleared at 4:30 PM, new guests were sent away at 4:50 PM, Google opening hours: 5:30 PM. Glasses of wine were half full for €5.50 when asked, this was normal. Indicated that I thought it was a bit little for that amount, the host stormed in and came back with the bottle and overfilled the glass 😅 drinks far below standard, no room for baby changes so that was allowed in the restaurant on the benches. I asked the kitchen if they knew what they were serving, but they stated that they did not know. We left full of surprise and disappointment. The review is mainly based on the unsuitable and unfriendly host. Never again for us.

Service friendly but unfortunately disappointing food. The salad did not contain half of the ingredients, so it was largely a bowl of lettuce with some sauce, a boiled egg and a few pieces of chicken. Sandwiches also sparsely filled, mostly lettuce. While it is not cheap. So it's a one-off, too bad!
