Bit outdated interieur, but the Meat makes up for everything

Easily accessible from the city center, the restaurant immediately catches your eye because of its good advertising. The entrance looks inviting and at the same time eccentric. In the interior you are literally surprised. Neither the depth nor the features were expected. This is exactly how a restaurant should look like this. The staff awaits you with incredible friendliness and immediately guides you to extremely comfortable and spacious seats. You have to wait a little for your food, but it is still within reasonable limits. However, the quality of the food is below average. The requests for different cooking levels were not taken into account, nor was the general quality sufficient. In relation to the price, this would have to be rated even worse. Unfortunately, the ambience and the extraordinary friendliness have little influence on the culinary level.

A household name in The Hague for decades and still very strong. Food & Service has remained consistently good over all these years...not many restaurants can say that.

Delicious food, but I did get a free spin on my spareribs (and it wasn't a small one😱)

Food was lovely. The service out of this world. From the phone reservation (friday and Saturday) you need to call and the team in the restaurant. We had kids ribs and the mixed grill portions. The grill was delicious and generous. Comes with 3 sauces and we had fries and salad. The restaurant didnt have background music playing and you could hear a beautiful lively conversations all mixed up. We loved this. Toilets were decent and clean. Overall a nice experience and lovely service. Will come agon.

I ordered the ribeye steak medium-rare, but it came out unevenly cooked—some parts overdone, others barely warm. The quality of the meat itself was a letdown: absolutely no marbling, which is what ribeye is known for. Instead, it was filled with chewy bits, sinew, and gristly patches that made it hard to enjoy. For the price, I expected something far more tender and flavorful. Easily one of the most dissonant steak I’ve had.

Pedí el medio de filete ribeye - raro, pero salió desigualmente cocido - algunas partes exageradas, otras apenas caliente. La calidad de la carne en sí fue una decepción: absolutamente nada de mármol, que es por lo que Ribeye es conocido. En cambio, estaba lleno de trozos masticables, tendones y parches arenosos que hacían que fuera difícil disfrutar. Por el precio, esperaba algo mucho más tierno y sabroso. Fácilmente uno de los filetes más disonantes que he tomado.

Reservation at 7pm, got seated at 7:20. Great start, we ordered drinks and after that we had to wait until 7:45 for someone to take our food order. Mind you, we waited 45 minutes in total to order food… We ordered the bread with garlic, which was just one small piece of bread. My brothers steak was ordered ‘medium’, first time it came well done so we sent it back, the new steak was just raw. My ribeye steak was dry and flavorless. Would not recommend, not worth the price at all.

Great place, had dinner with my wife and children on Saturday, it was actually full, but I was still able to get a table at the back with a small adjustment, so it was great. Come here regularly with friends. Always good service and the food is great. After our visit there were a lot of people in line outside waiting to get a spot, it's always full there 💪

The best spare ribs in The Hague! Once again we had a delicious meal with friends. The service was top notch, I can't say anything else. They know how to respond very well to your wishes here. I give the atmosphere three stars. This is a perfect place for a noisy group of friends, because you will find several noisy groups there. I wouldn't recommend it for an intimate dinner with your partner. There are better options for this in The Hague. However, if you want to eat unlimited spareribs, laugh with your company and not worry too much about being a burden to anyone, then this is the perfect place. Recommended!

Top Argentinian with fantastic meat.

Incredible meat. We tried carne quatro, 4 different kinds of argentinian steaks, every bite was an orgasm.

The meat—good, though it could have lingered in cure a little longer. The chimichurri—decent, but missing that essential fire. Yet, something feels incomplete. No Spanish voices, no porteño passion behind the grill. “Not important,” says the owner. But isn’t it? After all, an Argentinian asado is more than its origin—it’s in the hands that honor it. A fine experience, but one that leaves a whisper of what could have been.

We had a reservation, they said they wil contact us if it’s fully booked they never did. We came in there restaurant it’s was full and they said we are fully booked even though we had a reservation. They said wait a half hour. And they said the online reservation is not valid we came al the way from Amsterdam hungry en now we have to find a other restaurant to eat so I give them 0 stars

The ‘unlimited’ spare ribs deal here is misleading. They serve tiny portions at a time, and when you request more, it takes at least 10 minutes to arrive. By the time you actually get your next serving, you’re likely already full from waiting. It feels like a tactic to limit how much you actually eat rather than a true unlimited experience. Definitely not worth.

Yesterday, January 25, 2024, the four of us had dinner here for the 1st time. I searched on Google for best steak center The Hague, and this came up. We enjoyed the Beef Tenderloin, Chicken Breast and Spare Ribs and the quality of the meat was superior! The best steak I've ever eaten! super tender. my son had the chicken fillet and that says a lot because my son is picky ;-). Spare ribs were also excellent! We will definitely come back here! Real value for money! This can rightly be called a Pearl of The Hague! We had a fantastic evening APPLAUSE!!!!

The truth is I expected more, the blonde waitress on the second floor shouldn't work there, the food is good, although I expected more, but yes or if I must say that the meats are wonderful, that's the only reason I give them 3 stars because not everything was bad , but they should tell the blonde waitress that if she doesn't like her job and if she isn't going to be nice, she should dedicate herself to something that makes her happy.

A mixed bag, overall reliably good steak, depending on the cut you order. Not all are equally as good. Salad bar is a bit meager but fits the bill for my purposes. Can get quite busy and tables are cramped but once you dig in you soon forget about all that and just enjoy some steak. Overall I like coming here and would recommend it, as there aren't many alternatives in the price bracket. Sure you can get fancier but it'll cost you.

Staff were in absolutely no hurry to serve people and guide them to a table, despite a reservation. Stood in the hallway for 15 minutes and then had to eat somewhere else. Strange way of dealing with customers.

Samen met mijn zoon dacht ik gezellig te gaan eten. Het begon prima. Ik de Selectie van het huis en mijn zoon onbeperkt spareribs besteld. Nadat ik 3 ribjes van mijn zoon had 'geproefd' werd er van de ene kant van het restaurant naar me geblèrt dat er niet gedeeld mocht worden en anders moest er apart betaald worden. Nadat ik de desbetreffende ober had aangesproken zei hij dat hij dat extra luid had gezegd omdat er klanten aan de andere tafels de spareribs aan het delen waren. Ipv dat hij deze mensen daarop aanspreekt ipv mij voor schut te zetten. Let wel! € 77,- kwijt voor 2 pers. Zonder nagerecht of koffie. En dan te kakken worden gezet omdat je 3 ribjes proeff. Kom er nooit meer!!

El mejor asado. Sentí que estaba de vuelta en Argentina. Increíble cena, servido rápidamente, todo perfecto. Llegamos, había un poco de una fila de gente esperando, pero la fila se movió muy rápido! El camarero vino a recibir nuestro pedido rápidamente, a pesar de que estaba lleno de gente. La comida era excelente, el vino muy bueno y el servicio rápido, eficiente. Todo el mundo era muy acogedor. 10 / 10 . Muy recomendable.

Cozy Argentinian, friendly staff and the tastiest steak I have eaten in the Netherlands so far. Perfectly cooked, well seasoned and that taste... Really enjoyed it, I would leave out the arugula or add another garnish. see you soon

Beer served was very chilled. Steak even though was medium, felt it could have been more tastier. Ambience was ok. Salads were average. Felt it was not worth for the price paid. French fries were ok..

Great place to eat. You have to be patient, but it's worth it. As far as I know, there are not many places where you can order a premium steak this way in The Hague. At least not of this quality. Unfortunately the room is quite small and it is very hot on hot days, so no air conditioning. Afterwards we also found out that the sides had been forgotten on one of the orders, but were still included in the bill. Summary: make sure you sit outside on hot days and come just for the taste.

I made a reservation at 8am for 6 people. I received confirmation of this by email, with the message that if it was full I would be called. This didn't happen. Then you stand there with all of them ready to eat, and then it's full. Do we have to wait at least another 15 minutes, with a chance that it will take longer! They left because of this.

The salad bar is a real plus, so you can choose what you like. But I would mainly eat here because of the tasty piece of meat, with a delicious sauce and perfectly cooked the way you want it.

Was here last Thursday July 11, 2024. Starter 2 rolls with herb butter. Then ordered the mixed grill menu with two half liters of Argentinian wine and 2 corn on the cob. Fast, adequate and friendly service. The meat was very very good. I didn't like the self-service vegetables a bit. Successful night. Definitely recommended for meat lovers. A few downsides: the toilets (shabby ones only accessible via steep stairs, slightly problematic after two half liters)... We will be back!

Los Argentinos is an excellent spot for a delicious meat-based meal. The steaks were perfectly cooked to my liking, and the sides complemented them wonderfully. I appreciated the option to choose from different steak sizes, making it easy to find the perfect portion. They also have a great selection of beers to pair with your meal. With its excellent location and mouthwatering food, I'll definitely be returning when the next opportunity arises.

Great experience for our first in an Argentinian restaurant! The meat was just exquisite! We forgot to specify the cooking but luckily it was just perfect for us (carnivore :D) We regret a little how quickly the dish arrived (almost at the same time as the bread to wait in the end and at the same time as our aperitif) Otherwise R.A.S. Perfect. Ps: frankly very reasonable prices!

The meat is really tender and delicious. Very small minus: there could be a little more fun on the plate. There was now a (delicious) piece of meat with 1 leaf of lettuce. That could be a little more "dressed up." But the atmosphere is good

My family has been here many time already and have always liked the food. It can get a bit stuffy inside because there is not a lot of space and with many people, but the staff are very kind and the food is excellent

While the meat is top quality abd tastes very good, salad bar can be improved. Underbaked pistollets served with garlic butter aren't something that adds to impression , a small investment into better bread woukd make a big difference. For some reason guests tend to shout like they are on football stadium so if you are into a dinner with conversation, forget about it on the ground floor, look for the table upstairs where it seems to be more quiet. Again, the meat, which is the main reason for a visit, is always great.

La recensione a 5 stelle tiene conto di moltissimi aspetti... innanzitutto l'accoglienza...gentile e sorridente ci hanno fatto accomodare anche senza prenotazione. Locale semplice, un po' buio, ma carino. Le birre locali sono meravigliose. Ordiniamo un mix per 2 con patatine fritte. Un piatto di verdure fresche a buffet è compreso nel prezzo. Ci servono su una brace diversi pezzi di carne, tra cui agnello, manzo, costine di maiale (ribs) e un pezzetto di pica(g)na. Quest'ultima davvero squisita. Il resto molto buono. Serata gradevole, personale molto garbato esperienza da ripetere assolutamente.

The restaurant was cozy, but the interior did not impress me, it looks more like a pub than a place for a date. There is very little space inside, the entrance corridor is incredibly narrow. We went there as a group of five and had a hard time fitting food and drinks on our tiny table. The service was very nice and professional. The food is tasty, the quality is adequate to the price.

Wir waren dort aufgrund der guten Bewertungen, absolut nicht nachvollziehbar und eine Katastrophe. Das Fleisch (Rumpsteak) war das einzige das schmeckte aber auch nicht der Überflieger. Die spare ribs schmeckten sehr nach Schwein und waren sehr übertüncht durch die Sauce. Die Gerichte waren sehr lieblos „hergerichtet“ und auch die Saucen sowie die Pommes waren reine Fertigprodukte, jeder Euro war hier zu viel. Alles was man nicht erwarten möchte, wenn man Aus geht. Es wurde gefragt, ob zu Beginn noch Brot gereicht werden kann, es waren kleine Fertigbaguettes, pp wurden hier 1-2€ extra berechnet.. Ich fragte nach einer Portion Zwiebeln, die ich zu meinem Steak wollte, es kam eine größere Schüssel, die am Ende mit 4,90€!! Auf der Rechnung stand. Alles in allem war der Service in Ordnung aber auch fast aufdringlich, da man aufgrund der Größe förmlich beobachtet wurde (das Lokal ist sehr klein). Wir saßen an einer Treppe, die Bedienungen hüpften hier wortwörtlich hoch und runter, was sehr störend während der Gespräche war. Wir würden hier nie wieder hingehen und keinem empfehlen!

Terrible meat, dirty place with a mouse under the radiator, no placemats and stomach ache for all three in the end!!!!! But how is it done? In Italy they would close a place like this immediately!

Wir waren mit der Familie dort,auf Grund der guten Bewertungen. Kann ich aber nach unserem Besuch nicht verstehen. Der Laden war hygienisch eine Katastrophe!!! Der Service absolut schlecht! Wir hatten Steaks bestellt(alle medium),was wir bekamen lebte noch!!! Dazu noch Peffer-u.BBQ Sauce. Alles Fertigprodukte. Die Folienkartoffel war absolut lieblos und geschmacksneutral!!! Alles in diesem Laden schrie förmlich nach Massenabfertigung. Das Salat Büfett am Eingang schrie nach "Packungen geöffnet". Sauberkeit auch dort ein Fremdwort. Wir haben uns echt geekelt in diesem Laden. Leider war auch an ein Gespräch am Tisch nicht zu denken,da es dort absolut laut zu ging. Das war unser schnellstes Essen,nach knapp 1Std.waren wir wieder weg. Bitte lasst Euer Geld nicht in diesem Laden!!!

I haven't visited this place for over 20 years as I used to DJ in the club next door from time to time. Their food is still top notch! Pretty cool that 1 waiter still recognized me lol

It is not an Argentine restaurant!!! Not even our typical dishes. You can't put thee on mate!!!!! It's not a tea!!!! And on top of that, a photo with the light bulb upside down???? It's not taken like that!!!!

I really enjoyed eating here. I ordered the unlimited spare ribs with spicy BBQ sauce. I was hoping to order another plate, but the portion was huge. It was a rack and a half. I was not able to finish. The baguettes with spicy garlic butter was also divine. The unlimited ribs were 23 euros. Standard plate was 20euros. 250ml coke bottle was 3.25 euros. Can't remember what the garlic bread was. I would not recommend if you are going for the unlimited spare ribs. In summary, it is really good value for money

This is one of my favorite restaurants in all of The Hague and surrounding areas, god what good food, not cheap, not extremely expensive, but what quality. Really amazing. Good wines too, highly recommended for anyone who is a bit Burgundian. You can make it as expensive as you want, but make sure you make a reservation, it is always full. It really doesn't work on spec.

I like coming here. The Argentinian Steak 300gr medium/rare is highly recommended. The house wine is of excellent quality.
