I have eaten here many times as it is one of my favourite restaurants in The Hague; à go to for those in a mood for flavourful, fantastically cooked steak. The chorizo starter is an excellent compliment to the main steak which follows as well as beautiful wine paired with the meal. I cannot wait to come back again soon.

A restaurant with a cozy atmosphere, excellent service, and an extensive menu. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a pleasant evening.

We dropped in spontaneously without a reservation, but the staff really went out of their way to find a nice spot for the two of us, which I thought was very thoughtful. The service was a real 10/10, super friendly and genuinely helpful. The food was also simply delicious, well-seasoned, and well-prepared. All in all, a good and pleasant experience; definitely a restaurant I'd love to return to.

I booked an unforgettable evening for my sister and her husband through Linda from Gauchos. From the very first contact, Linda arranged everything down to the last detail. not what expected and most of all not for the price paid. Empanadas too expensive for something clearly industrial, the chorizo tasting not at all as chorizo.... only the meat was good but nothing special for what was the price. people smoking outside and the smell of cigarettes coming inside. Service very slow ( and the place wasn't full at all).Not suggested and won't come back

3-course prebooked menu took 2 hours to serve.. . We had to wait for the ice cream for 25 minutes. There was no salt on our table and light was dimmed so much people had to use their phones to read the menu. Food was good, nothing special. Steak had barely any spices and you could feel lumps of ice in the ice cream (as in frozen water, not the cream). This place definitely has potential but there are many better restaurants in den Haag it this price range.

Go here if you want a nice steak in the Hague. Bearnaise sauce recommended!

Located in the heart of The Hague's city center. We took a table for two outside, slightly inclined, and watched the hustle and bustle of the popular street while we ate. Inside, the atmosphere is dark, like most Argentinian restaurants. Service took a while, but was competent and, most importantly, the hot meat, quick. The rib eye was cooked to perfection and tender, excellent. The Gaucho salad, on the other hand, seemed a bit bland; the spinach was more appealing. The wine list was well-stocked. Overall, the core of the steak quality was excellent, but the rest of the food was rather average.

Food was really good. The meat is made really good. It's not cheap to eat, but the quality is as expected good! The people from the restaurant are nice and giving you a pleasant feeling. The garden outside, patio, is really nice! We started with the drinks there, but because a lot of people were start smoking we went inside.

Beautiful restaurant. Lovely garden where you can sit comfortably. A mix of Dutch and English-speaking staff. Very friendly. Good portions of food.

Quite the 'traditional' set-up with staff and etiquette and im living for it!! This is the prime example of never change a winning recipe, the mannerisms,professionalism and pampering you get from everyone is simply sublime! Food wise? Excellent, well executed and rather quick! Perfectly medium rare cuts as requested and superb quality of meat( beter leven***) ! I'll be definitely be back pretty soon and I'll let everyone know of this hidden gem that resides here in The Hague!

August 8, 2025: After many years, we finally ate here again. And it wasn't disappointing. We were seated at a lovely oval table. We had a tenderloin with pepper sauce as both a starter and a main course. The service was excellent. Not pushy, not too little, just right. We finished with a nice cup of coffee. In short, a delicious meal!

Nice place. Prices are quite high. Service is chaotic, and there's no real customer service.

If you love meat, you'll have a wonderful meal here. The spareribs are delicious, and the Lomo steak is also fantastic. I definitely recommend giving it a try.

Burnt rib eye. Explanation that is normal if you order medium well.

The starters were lovely and the wine was well-balanced and enjoyable. However, we were quite disappointed with the main course. We ordered our steak medium rare, but it was served almost well done. Additionally, the chimichurri sauce on the side was overpowering — it had a very strong garlic and spicy flavor that dominated the taste of the meat rather than complementing it. Unfortunately, it was too much and I couldn’t enjoy the dish.

Food highlights first: The steak that I ordered yesterday evening was outstanding, medium rare with a perfect crisp on the outside. But what was so "rustic" about the Argentinian fries remains a mystery for me... 😉 Started our dinner outside on the pleasant terrace -blackbird singing in the background- at the back of the restaurant, later we were guided inside to pleasantly continue our stay and to have dessert there. Nice relaxed atmosphere in- and outside, clean bathroom and lastly, the service throughout the evening was admirable (which is rather rare these days).

35 euros for Spareribs that taste like they came out of the microwave.

I really enjoyed dinner last night! The chicken & steak was really good as well as the fries! I love how they don't add any salt so it's up to you because some restaurants make their sides extremely salty. Service wise: Maybe they were short staffed because there were only 2 waiters available and it was quite busy so we had to wave them down a few time to get a menu, then to order, then to get refill on drinks, but overall it was a fine, the portions were nice and tasty. I added in the notes when I made reservation that it was for a birthday, but unfortunately nobody asked nor did we receive a birthday cake or song, but the table next to us did, which was quite disappointing.

A wonderfully atmospheric place with an excellent menu and nice staff. Delicious meat dishes for a good price.

We had made a reservation in advance and upon arrival we were immediately told that they really needed the table in 2 hours. Enough time for us, but it's about the reception. Then when we got the food, my friend's was very well done instead of medium. Fortunately, the staff immediately agreed and it was resolved immediately. 3 staff who kept coming to tell us the status and apologize. That's why still 3 stars. We might try it again.

Nice restaurant where you can eat a good steak. Price quality good, service very friendly. Fries could have been cooked a little more well. I'll come back for the tenderloin.

Gutes Fleisch aus dem man mehr machen könnte. Hatte ein Filet Medium bestellt und der Garpunkt war gut getroffen. Es fehlte jedoch Salz und Pfeffer. An den Nachbartischen wurde Pfeffer aus einer großen Pfeffermühle angeboten - uns nicht. Den Grund der Ungleichbehandlung erschloss sich uns nicht. Auch wurde mein Wunsch nach Kräuterbutter zustimmend entgegengenommen - ich bekam sie jedoch nicht. Bei 45 Euro für ein Stück Fleisch muss auch der Service darum passen. Vielleicht hatten wir auch nur Pech.

Meat is fine, only spare ribs were not really tasty. We ordered (fresh) chimmichurry, but received vegetable sauce. After a discussion with the waiter and waitress, who kept saying this was chimmichurry! Later the manager admitted that we weren't the only ones who complained that they didn't have their menu in order and didn't have any chimmichurry. Then let them say that and not say that was it. The sauce was inedible and it is a shame that such a restaurant (with good meat) does not have these kinds of things in order. Unlimited spare ribs also makes little sense, because everyone has already finished while you get your second portion. We had much better food for this price, without discussions about what something is. Never again, because I had to keep asking for the sauce and the fries were not tasty.

Slechte prijs kwaliteit verhouding! Saus kwam niet, moesten we om vragen en het vlees was op zich prima kwaliteit alleen de spare ribs waren slecht. Onbeperkt kon je kiezen maar het duurt zo lang dat de rest al klaar is met eten. We hadden chimichurri besteld en kregen een groente saus! Discussie met de serveerster dat dat geen chimichurri was, maar ze bleef volhouden van wel! later gaf de manager het toe dat wij niet de eerste waren die daarover klaagden, maar we hadden al gegeten! Hebben afgerekend en weggegaan, maar nooit meer!

It has such a good name, but actually it wasn't anything special. When I go out to eat I expect that care has been taken with your meal and I didn't get that idea. Food was bland, bare piece of meat on your plate, gives little atmosphere. You have to pay extra for fries, even though it costs nothing for such a place. Too bad, very sad. The meat was very good, by the way. I won't be going back to spending my money there anytime soon!

Fantastic food, the spare ribs were by far a favourite. I had steak myself, which was prepared just right.

It s been a long time since we ate here. The food ( meat ) is wonderful. Staff with little Dutch, which is okay but a bit weird at the same time. No sauvignon (blanc) to be had, pity. It struck me as really good that it s all hands on deck where staff is concerned. Makes a great team impression, well done

Had a delicious meal here on my birthday. The atmosphere is very pleasant, the food delicious and the service excellent.

Gran lugar de carne. Los filetes estaban perfectamente cocinados. Teníamos el ojo de costilla y el filete. Ambos fueron geniales. Tomamos la crepe de crema dulce de postre. La mejor parte fue nuestro camarero Juan. Él hizo nuestro tiempo aún mejor.

Not worth it - overpriced. The staff is not really friendly. I ordered a mojito, 10 euros, and I received a small glass. And it was not a really good one We waited 1 hour before to receive our main course. We ordered the tenderness cut which was not...tender. The taste was plain, nothing special. There was a mistake made about the price of the gambas by a waiter and we ended up pay more than what've told... Choose another restaurant.

Wij hebben heerlijk gegeten en werden verzorgd door een fantastische gastvrouw. M’n vlees was achteraf toch iets te rauw (zelf zo besteld) het was geen probleem om deze nog even op de grill te leggen. Kreeg het vlees op een schoon bord en met een nieuw bakje saus terug! Excellent!

Heerlijk gegeten en bediening was vriendelijk. Je krijgt zelfgemaakte knoflooksaus bij de Gamba's die echt heel goed is. Het vlees en de vis is zeker een aanrader.

The meat is delicious, extra tender, very well cooked and melts in the mouth! On the other hand, what disappointed us were the industrial fries and sauce (extras), for the price it's disappointing! A good address for lovers of good meat (and spending money!!)

You can come across several Argentinian grill restaurants in The Hague. But this restaurant is number 1 for me. You can already notice the nice atmosphere outside the restaurant. Once inside, you will receive a very friendly welcome and be guided to your table. They take your coat neatly and the service is excellent. You will feel genuinely relieved. Once you have made a choice, the employees will quickly notice that you want to order. So the wait doesn't take long. After my girlfriend and I received our food, we were extremely positive about the quality of the service and the food. The food was very good and definitely worth the money and time. This restaurant is “the place to be” for my girlfriend when it comes to Argentinian food.

Good food, if you don't mind eating with mice wandering around your table. It took me a week to get over the incident on the 23rd of February when at around 10pm (the restaurant was half empty at the time as it was about to close) we noticed two mice wandering around the table behind us, not more than 3 metres from the restaurant's open kitchen. I decided to make my experience public because I find it unacceptable that restaurateurs simply don't care about mice in their restaurants. The manager of the restaurant tried to reassure us by explaining the 'mouse problem' in the whole city in light of the restriction on mouse poison. He assured us that they were inspected weekly by a private company and that they used traps. Nevertheless, we saw not one but two mice wandering around. He also told us that the mice stay away from the open kitchen (again less than three metres from where we saw them) as they clean it regularly. That was funny, to be honest, as if the mice were restraining themselves from visiting the kitchen area. If you don't mind mice running around, and potentially mice hairs and droppings in your food, then you might not mind eating here. I felt very sorry for the people I walked past as left the restaurant, deciding that I will not be paying to eat here again, who may not have been aware of the mice. I don't think it is acceptable to have mice on the restaurant floor. If the level of hygiene was high enough I don't believe there would be mice, and the thought that there may be mice wandering around the kitchen put me off eating here again.

Delicious food! With a super nice atmosphere. The price is a bit on the more expensive menu, but you really get quality for it. The only disadvantage is that almost only English is spoken

Went to dinner with my sister yesterday and we both really enjoyed what they had to offer. You get value for your money. Service very friendly. I definitely want to come back again to try other dishes. But yesterday was gold for us.

Echt z'n mooie winkel bij binnen komst. En we werden door zeer vriendelijke man ontvangen. En we mochten kiezen waar we wilde zitten. In de zaak zaten meer klanten en zat overal genoeg ruimte tussen dat iedereen privicy had om te praten en ook om lekker tijd met de persoon door te brengen met wie je was. Eten was zo fantastische lekker. Echt alles zo aan te bevelen. Bedankt voor fijne avond die ik met mijn dochter bij jullie heb mogen genieten.

We hebben heerlijk gegeten, heel vriendelijke bediening, en geweldige service waarbij meegedacht werd met het tijdstip van onze voorstelling waardoor het eten extra snel gebracht werd. Hier komen we zeker nog een keer terug!

Very good service, good still good but isn’t as great as before.

Mooie efficiënte zaak, tafeltjes dicht op elkaar. Gebrekkig engels sprekende obers maar aardig en keurig in uniform. De lomo biefstuk was eerder 125 gram dan beloofde 180, maar erger: bestelde medium was well done, jammer, jammer. Fles malbec van €34 was matig en scoorde ook maar 3,5 op Vivino Kortom: onvoldoende

An impromptu birthday outing as I wasn't feeling my best turned into one of my best steak experiences ever! From the moment we called them up to reserve a place with our 3yo, we inly experienced warm and halpful service. Niko*(not sure of the spelling) and his colleague greeted us with genuine smiles at the door, brought out the coolest booster seat for our daughter and walked us through the menu even popping into the kitchen to bring a display of the steak cuts and his reviews of them. He also helped with the wine pairings and he and his colleague came and checked in on us at just the right moments - neither intrusive of rushing. I'm looking forward to returning soon to try something else next time. Thank you for a lovely evening.

Great service, food was very good. Had the rib-eye and entrecôte, prawns as a starter along with salads. Booked as the place got very busy late evening. I could get a table when I went early without a reservation.

Den haag centrum Super gegeten, elke x weer. Zon lekker mals vlees.Fijne bediening, heerlijke steak. Blijven zeker terugkomen.

Het eten hier is geweldig. Super mals vlees en heerlijk gegrild. Bife de lomo is aan te raden. De service vind ik iets minder. Ik had gevraagd om de slagroom apart maar dat kreeg ik niet. Aardbeien hadden een vreemd smaakje. Saus mag wel iets meer zijn wanneer je 500 gram vlees besteld. De internetverbinding binnen is heel slecht. Ik moest er zelfs voor naar buiten lopen. Verder is de akoestiek heel slecht. Als het vol zit dan kan je elkaar niet verstaan. Maar het vlees maakt alles goed.

Heerlijk gegeten. Hoewel ze meer wijn hebben konden we er ook een biertje krijgen. De bediening was zeer vriendelijk.

Total perfekt. Das Essen war von den Vorspeise bis zu den Desserts klasse. Die Steaks waren super. Danke, wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

The food was very good here. I had steak with onion and peppers with fries and a green salad. It was all extremely tasty and well presented. Then I had pineapple for dessert and an Irish coffee. everything was very well presented and the staff were very welcoming.

The "Chocolate & chocolate & chocolate" dessert somehow is delicious and balanced, and not like "death by chocolate" that a lot of restaurants in America have. Otherwise, a really good Argentinian steakhouse, and probably the best place to get good steak in the Netherlands.

Met 6 personen afgelopen zaterdag daar gegeten. Het eten is uitstekend evenals de bediening en de ambiance. Wij komen zeker nog een keer terug.

Aangename bediening in tof kader! Zeer vriendelijke gastvrouw, niets is teveel gevraagd. Het werd eventjes op korte tijd druk, desondanks bleef iedereen enorm klantvriendelijk en georganiseerd. Zeer lekkere broodplank met tapenade. Rib eye (300gr) tot in perfectie gebakken (Rare of bleu chaud) en heerlijk van smaak. Jammer van de side dishes, die mogen nog wat verder op punt gezet worden. (Salade heel eentonig en te zuur door de mosterd azijn, beter een romige mosterdvinaigrette of bieslookdressing? Beter een dikkere friet voorzien dan deze dunne allumettes, je proeft geen patat. En béarnaise ook veel te lopend en te zuur. Dessert mag ook nog wat meer aandacht aan besteed worden. Flensje kwam uit microgolf, maar was nog koud. Ook een gewoon supermarktflensje, dat is jammer. De gegrilde ananas was lekkker, alhoewel deze nog wat langer gegrild had mogen zijn. Al bij al een goede ervaring!

Service is excellent. Never felt so welcomed in a restaurant. Staff are all very friendly and consider the needs of the customers. The steaks are great and juicy. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Voor het eerst hier gegeten! Zeker niet de laatste keer! Eten was heerlijk, spareribs, ossenhaas,steak . Was allemaal perfect. De bediening was ook geweldig! Kan het iedereen aanraden om hier te eten!

Amazing place for a family dinner, welcoming and friendly service

Bon restaurant argentí. Preus en línia al país. Triant bé els plats, uns 25€ p/pers. Sense postres i bevent cervessa. La materia primera bona.

We hebben hier heerlijk gezeten met drie kleine kinderen. Er was veel begrip voor en het personeel probeerde om het de kindjes (en ons) zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken. We zaten in de binnentuin en dat was een heerlijk plekje. Gezellig en rustig zitten. Het eten was prima, ik had een entrecote. Die was lekker maar had het vlees wat zachter verwacht. Zelfde voor de spareribs die mijn partner had besteld.

Onlangs in Maastricht bij Gauchos geweest waarop wij besloten om naar Gauchos in Den Haag te gaan. Maar de verwachting was hoger dan het resultaat. De carpaccio viel ons tegen. Het vlees was in het midden nogkoud en de garnering was naar ons idee niet echt passend (augurk zat erop). De biefstuk en bijgerechten waren wel goed. Maar om één of andere reden smaakte het ons anders dan in Maastricht. De bediening, daar bleek wel verschil in te zitten naar bepaalde klanten. Maar goed, dat zullen vaste klanten zijn. De sfeer in de zaak, daar miste ik wat aan. Wij hadden Maastricht als referentie. Misschien gaan wij het nog een keer proberen, het was al met al niet onaardig.

Helemaal top ,super service, en het personeel is zelfs na openingstijden nog vriendelijk. Mega tent
