Waiting time for a Margherita pizza was 45 minutes, even though the place was almost empty.....

We ordered the bruschetta picola as a starter. I had the pasta dish Orecchiette di Manzo al Limone for the main course. Both dishes were very delicious. My friend ordered a pizza. It's quite large; it's actually for two people. It was a bit chilly downstairs, but the service was good.

I’m never going to this restaurant ever again. Yesterday, I ordered the ‘Maccheroncini Pollo alla Romana’ and the pasta came out with NO chicken whatsoever. This pasta was labelled under the Carne (meat) section so the first listed ingredient was chicken filet. I then requested for chicken and then they charged me another €6 for something that was supposed to already be on there. By the time I got the chicken filet, my pasta became cold. I felt disappointed in this experience. I wasn’t sure if it was negligence or they were trying to scam me because I was an English speaker.

A fantastic place with amazing pizzas and delicious drinks! You definitely don't want to miss this. The friendly staff always goes above and beyond to provide you with excellent service as quickly as possible. You can also enjoy the authentic Italian atmosphere inside, complete with an Italian podcast in the restroom. Definitely don't miss that one either ;)

Pizza unnecessarily big. Became a bit awkward at the table and the plates were much smaller than the pizza size. The taste was really good though and the guy helping us very cute and helpful. Eventhough he had to be in charge of the full upperfloor which made the food come in quite late. Price / quality very good.

We had a fantastic date; the sweetheart just hadn't eaten breakfast yet. But with the pizza, the size of which could have fit five of our heads together, this hungry hunk really captivated my heart.

Had a fantastic breakfast with my date. He had a Margherita, and so did I. We wolfed down the pizza before peacefully heading back to the Sparklerweg metro station.

We spontaneously decided to visit this restaurant as we are familiar with it from Germany. We were seated promptly and received excellent service from „Alex“. He is extremely pleasant and helpful, and his colleague at the bar is also very friendly. The restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere, and I will definitely return when I visit Amsterdam again. Highly recommended.

We came here for a seasonal team dinner for work. We had a shared food menu and its amazing. Some dishes need slightly more taste. The pizzas were amazing. Pasta is not my thing but it looked nice! The staff is friendly. Location is super nice. I bet in summer it will be even better.

For us, the perfect place to eat with small children. Food comes quickly, there's a lovely playground in the summer where parents have a good overview, and the service is truly excellent.

We come here for dinner every year with a large group through work. Everything was well organized again. The waitress was very helpful. All our dietary requests were taken into account (even last-minute ones), and there was more than enough food.

I stood in line twice this summer, and each time, just as it was my turn, I heard the kitchen was closing. I let that pass. But this time was the last straw. I picked up some pasta, paid extra for vegetables, but they weren't even included. The dish was mostly oil with a very light, minimal tomato sauce—you can hardly even call it tomato sauce. It was also lukewarm. Truly awful. I went back and got my money back, but never again.

L’Osteria such a visen gem, a coleague and me found it by chance but have been going there regularly every week at least once, the pizzas are amazing, cheap and huge the pasta is really good but the best is the service, Charlie is a star always with a smile and she makes you feel welcomed from the on set Give it a try you won’t regret

We visited l'Osteria with a party of 8. We liked the location of the restaurant and the atmosphere was nice. The food however, was disappointing. The pizza Salsiccia Picante was not spicy and hardly had any flavour to it. The spaghetti Pomodoro e basilico was absolutely tasteless. No taste of union or garlic (as mentioned in the menu). Had to request for extra cheese afterwards, but unfortunately the meal did not get any better. The zoodles gambaretti lacked of ingredients (the gamba's were fine). The macheroncini pesto genovese turned out te be penne pasta, instead of the very thin spaghetti. Had to walk over to the bar twice to get the waitress's attention and although the waitress was very kind, we are not planning to visit again.

L’Osteria always feels a little like coming home. Even before you step inside, you can already smell the wonderful kitchen at work. Indoors it’s cozy, with comfortable seating, a beautiful interior and real pizza and pasta that taste amazing and the pizzas are huge. But it’s Altea who truly gives my visits something special. There’s something in her smile and her attentive, charming way of serving that makes the evening just a bit brighter. Something subtle, something that stays with you without being able to fully explain why. I catch myself quietly hoping she’ll be the one looking after my table. A place I’m always happy to return to.

After waiting 40 minutes (without any decency, a phone call), we received 9 cold pizzas. The manager constantly argued with us and made absolutely no effort to be friendly or accommodating. €160 down the drain. Terrible.

If you want to wait two hours for cold pizza, order here. And don't forget those disgusting slices of ham or salami, etc.

Nicely located place for an Italian lunch. Super friendly staff and waiter. At first, the soup wasn’t hot at all, but that was resolved quickly. The dishes were generous, and the pizza we chose to share was kindly pre-divided and served separately. Nothing too ambitious, but we had a very lovely get-together.

The place was extremely loud. Acoustic was horrible. Pizzas are mega large but nothing special. Great if you go with a group and share but not my first choice.

It took a while for the food to arrive, but it was incredibly delicious. So if you need to be somewhere quickly, maybe skip it.

Delicious food and great service. The lighting was a bit too bright. The pizzas, which are larger than your plate and stomach, more than make up for it. The size of the pizza doesn't diminish the flavor.

The food was delicious, the bruschetta was wonderful, the pizza was excellent, and the pasta was too. The wine was mediocre. We were with a large group, so it was extremely noisy due to the poor acoustics, but otherwise, it's a pleasant place.

This is an amazing place to which I will be returning again and again! However you should be careful to dine here if you are in a hurry, because the food does not come out food. But it is very delicious!

Fantastic pizzas and great service! Last weekend I dined at Losteria, and I was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant's atmosphere is warm and inviting, with an open kitchen where you can watch the pizza makers at work. The pizzas were definitely the star of the evening: a thin, crispy crust, fresh ingredients, and a perfect balance of flavors. The Pizza Vitello Tonnato is especially recommended! The homemade tiramisu was also exactly as it should be: light, not too sweet, and wonderfully creamy. The staff was friendly, attentive, and gave excellent recommendations without being pushy. Everything was served quickly, and despite the crowd, the service remained relaxed and professional. Our waitress, Yza, is an excellent and lovely woman! And Pablo, in the kitchen, made our meal—it was delicious! In short: an absolute must for anyone who loves authentic, freshly prepared pizzas and a cozy atmosphere. I'll definitely be back.

The three of us spontaneously decided to go without a reservation and got a table immediately. The staff were very friendly and the food arrived quickly after we ordered. The pizza was delicious. Just be aware that they are very, very, very large. I have a good appetite, but I couldn't finish it. Definitely highly recommended.

Very nice place, the food was plentiful and delicious. This is our second time here and we'll definitely be back.

First time here on my parents' recommendation, and I had a delicious 45cm pizza. Good, reasonable prices, and a lovely spot by the water. The staff is also friendly, and they pay attention to small details, like the Italian conversation from the restroom speaker :) In short, a nice atmosphere, and I'd love to come back!

The place is very nice and vibrant. However, the pizza was disappointing, the ingredients did not taste fresh nor authentic. Unfortunately also the service did non live up to our expectations, as the waitress was not attentive to our orders, was not able to give us accurate suggestions and brought us the wrong thing.

Cozy branch of this restaurant chain. We know this from Germany. The menu is the same everywhere. View of the water. Nice area with ample parking. Paid parking. Seating is a bit tight here. Affordable. The wow factor is missing.

Great location and vibe for this Osteria on the Amstel river. Pastas are decent, pizzas can be hit or miss… not the best Italian food in AMS for sure. Staff makes little to no effort to speak Dutch. At least a greeting or basic level in the local language would be appreciated!
