what a place to open my trip here. great coffee and service, and theres a nice space for a bit of laptop work. 10/10 will come back here

The atmosphere was nice, and the baristas who made my coffee were friendly. However, I paid €5.80 for a takeaway flat white with soy milk. It was too expensive for its size.

The Smooth and Eindje coffee beans are easily in my top five. They’re always freshly roasted (usually 1 to 3 weeks old), with a consistent taste and an amazing aroma. Really great espresso to start the day. Keep up the good work, guys!

Coffee is good. The frozen apple pie at a price of almost 6 euro per piece is not. I ordered it and it was still not properly defrosted and ice cold inside. Not recommended!

Edit: Since my last visit, the prices have become ridiculous. Two hot drinks and a piece of cake for €16.50. Much bigger than you'd expect. NOT* Affordable prices despite being in a great location. Nicely decorated, good sandwiches. Also a place to work with your own laptop.

Nice chocolate croissant and good coffee. Came in a day later to ask to use the toilet and got some bad attitude from the barista. If you’re asking me to pay, that’s fine, but there’s no need to look at me like I just asked to pee on the floor. Thanks!:)

Very expensive. Ginger "tea," which is hot water with a few slices of ginger, costs over 4 euros. The apple pie we received was still partially frozen. You could see the ice crystals. Toilets weren't clean.

Very pleasant atmosphere and service. personally I think the it's a bit overpriced.

I had 10 minutes before my bus and was in the mood for coffee. I'd rather support a local business than a chain. Once inside, I told them I'd like a filter coffee and that my bus would be leaving in 10 minutes. The barista told me they make it with an Aeropress and that it would be ready in four minutes. I was given a choice of two types of beans. The coffee was well-brewed and ready within the timeframe. €6.50 for a filter coffee is on the expensive side, but I understand that they have to stand on their own two feet, have a premium location, and roast their own beans. The coffee tasted quite good. It did lack the complexity and change in notes as it cooled that I'm used to from other establishments, but that was just a one-off experience. All in all, it was more than satisfactory and definitely a place I would return to if I had the chance.

Best place in Eindhoven train station area to grab a coffee or beer and sit with the laptop in the work/study area while you wait for the train. I've been here multiple times and also brought a couple of colleagues with me during business trips. Excellent feedback from everyone.

Ridiculously expensive coffee... €4.60 for a small cappuccino. Amsterdam is even cheaper. Plus, it takes 10 minutes to get anything, which is ridiculous. And the icing on the cake is that the coffee tastes like an ashtray. Absolutely not recommended.

This was the most delicious tuna sandwich I've ever eaten.

The coffee and pastries are fine. But, owner, on a sunny day, sitting outside can quickly get too chilly because there's always a strong breeze here, thanks to the location between tall buildings. Add a windbreak and you'll attract more customers! Even on sunny days...people want to have their coffee outside if possible.

Favourite coffee place in Eindhoven. I enjoyed the atmosphere for working a lot. However, they have a couple different types of sitting areas, spread out and differentiated enough so you know we're to sit for a day of work vs a nice chat, and both are very possible:) Nice staff, though at times service was a slight bit slow. Overall a great place and would recommend stopping by if you're in for coffee

Coffees are really good , there is multiple bean choices if you are into different aromas beside that the faces who is welcoming is smiling and service is fast . Havent tried any food but i will def give a try :)

Great location. Ideal for grabbing a delicious coffee before a train journey, enjoying it at your leisure with a delicious cookie or piece of cake. Good service and stylish decor.

Normally very nice coffee, but now very unfriendly woman behind the counter. Very arrogant way to greet someone while I was already waiting 10 minutes to place my order. I just went back outside, without coffee, this is not for me!

Paid €14 for a take-away salad that was surprisingly small (10cm diameter) and basically was egg salad with arugola.

The coffee is aromatic. The staff is friendly and not pushy. Thank you for creating such a cozy space

Unsupportive staff, not a good coffee.

I am tourist and I happen to passby to grab a coffee. I was the first one in que to pay for coffee but the young lady at the counter thought I am some loner or thug because I was not wearing a tuxedo so apparently she let the gentleman wearing suit have the first go because appearances did matter to her it seems. Then i was told the coffee will be at my table apparently waiting for 15 mins and I stepped in to have it taken by myself. So now the real deal while I was enjoying coffee, with the croissant young lady from the counter approaches me and took the try away, plus warned me that I can’t have the item with my coffee if it’s not bought from them. I had already told the lady while placing the order I am not from here and she might have thought ah a refugee. Now this note if for the management and the young lady, I have worked for hospitality industry as manager & I am a frequent traveller, thus is a suggestion for your shop to progress. Inorder to have a good business you need to have some ethics, code of conduct and focus on better customer service . You can’t simply judge a book by its cover and think someone is nothing by just their appearances. Just FYI I can buy your coffee shop but that’s not the point here. As a customer service industry strives on customers you can’t afford to make them upset and say whatever is n your mind. I sincerely think there is a room for improvement and notes are taken for the servers to adhere to better attitude towards customers.

The staff were really friendly and the coffee is nice. However, between ordering and paying and receiving my coffee took 45 minutes. The lady who ordered just before had eaten and left by the time I had received my coffee. I think it was very unstaffed. Please pay more attention to the order of tickets, it is not good to have such inefficient service, especially beside a train station.

No seating, limited variety, and very rude staff.

Stopped by to grab a quick coffee before catching a train. The "to go" option seems to have lost some meaning as from the time of the payment to cup in hand took 15 minutes. I feel the coffee beans are of good quality and the machines are premium which would justify the higher end price of €6 a cup. The justification dissappeared when the coffee was received lukewarm and filled 3 quarters of the way. A real pity the experience fell away at this branch as the location is great. If you want great, hot coffee with the usual paced service, try the Lucifer branch near the 100watt brewery.

Really nice space, especially to work with your laptop. I like an iced latte with oat milk which did set me back €6,90. But granted it was great. Got a lot of work done in the inspiring location.

expensive coffee bad service in March 25th morning at 7:50 I kindly asked the barista if she could make my coffee slightly quicker because my train was coming. Somehow it seemed she took it as an offence. The barista definitely had some attitude towards me as she handed me only half cup of coffee for 3.9 euro, which was ridiculous. As a regular customer here for 5 years, I think I will never come here again

Such a cozy café! My family and I had breakfast at Lucifer, and we loved it. The atmosphere was really warm and inviting, making us feel comfortable right away. The staff was very friendly and made our experience even better, they really made our day. The service was great, the coffee was very good, and the menu had a nice selection of food. Overall, we had a nice time and will definitely be back!

I ended up here because I had to wait a while for a Flixbus connection. Very nice and cozy place with plenty of space to sit. Nice coffee but quite expensive. But there is an excellent range of newspapers to read and gender neutral toilets.

Really nice place, been coming here for months both to chill, study, or do some work. Atmosphere would seriously be 5. Unfortunately, today I was treated very rude by the staff, because of their policy to sit down if you open your laptop. I get the rule and I’m not disagreeing, but the thing is, (1) she said it in a very rude manner, (2) there was no space down, but it was empty up where I was sitting and (3) she even told us to go to another place, just after serving my drink. Then, we found space down (after a couple of minutes) and went to move there, and she passes by and she shouts BYEEE. Why would you try to push customers away? What this is about? Fighting with customers?

Extremely rude waiter. Her colleague apologized but I dont think you should be treating your guests in this manner. Never coming again

Nice place, with excessively high prices. A half liter bottle of water costs 4 euros and fifty cents, I don't want to imagine the rest of the drinks.

Good coffee, bad service, I came in to pick up my order because it got delivered to the wrong address. The gentleman at the counter was very pushy in trying to confirm it was my fault and not theirs. Would reconsider buying coffee from here henceforth. Absolutely unacceptable customer service!

music is horrible, hammering your brain from the morning to the evening with upbeat party music. the staff is not even allowed to change the volume or the songs. the management response to my email feedback was something like "like it or leave it." just horrible music. it's a pity for this tasty coffee and super friendly staff.

We got our food before the drinks, the food didn't arrive until after 45 minutes…. They forgot nachos, they promised we would get that plate for free, when I walked in so they could refund the money for the nachos I was ignored again and again at the counter and in the end I didn't get any money back, It was all because of the bald man behind the counter.

Really good coffee, and perfect location across from the station. Service is quite efficient, and they have a wide variety of drinks with relatively infrequent brands, like Charities. Now, the cakes to accompany the coffee aren't that great. Maybe it's because I went on a Sunday, but my carrot cake was a bit dry. For the price they charge, and the size of the portion, I feel quality should have been better.

Reserved 6 weeks for 14 people due to farewell daughter and son-in-law to Australia at 2 pm today. Unfortunately, due to a shortage of staff, the place closed at 2 p.m....spoke to the owner Bob: no compassion or empathy at all....very bad and unprofessional. Just go somewhere else, they said ...there you are with 14 people

Reservations had been made for today for a large group who all had to come from far away. There was a tight schedule. But there were too few staff at Lucifer due to sick leave. Instead of taking responsibility by either being there as a boss or letting your staff stay longer, the tent was closed! I have also worked a double shift when there was a sick call. Not here, they just close the tent!

Nice place for a quick coffee while waiting for the next bus or train. The ciffee is also great and some people find the food a little bit pricy. The only 1* is have removed is only because i feel 70 cent additional charge on the oat/soya is too much given that we are all advocating for lesser carbon footprints in our daily lives. I would and still go there to have coffee everytime as its way better than starbucks or DE at the station.

Grear coffee, friendly stuff, tasty food. But extremely slow service. As a loyal customer for more then 2 years, many times waited for an americano for 20+ minutes in almost empty space. Good for relaxed days, wouldn't recommend for a rushing moment.

Came here after leaving the airport to eat some food and I was very happy! The food was very tasty and the waitresses were very nice and sweet. I do have to say that the food portions are quite small for the price but that might be due to being a brunch place. They have no gender bathroom which is quite accommodating for anyone who's in a hurry, also met the nicest gentlemen there. Would recommend anyone to come 😊

I love that they know what they are doing with their coffee. They sell classic coffee drinks, some alcoholic beverages, and food (I would love seasonal variations/flavoured coffee lattes)! Have both Dutch and English menus completed with descriptions; the price is ‘just the going rate’ (similar to cafes everywhere). The ambience is cosy yet still has lots of lighting inside. The toilet is clean, and laptops are allowed without additional charge. I am so glad they put a reminder on the long table that purchasing something helps with their operations. I went there on a weekday, so it was quiet, and the service was fast. I'm not sure about the weekend. It's nicely located by the city centre and train station. It doesn’t matter if you're going for a productive day, waiting for the train or bus, or hanging out; this is the place to be!

Leuk hippe coffeebar met een grote variatie van koffies en theesmaken. Als je iets anders zoekt qua lunchen dan normaal, moet je hier naartoe, maar let op voor de kleine gerechtjes moet je echt de hoofdprijs betalen. Alsof je centrum NewYork bent.

I got a dirty chai latte and a cheese cake. The latte was luke warm and the cheese cake was dry. I was disappointed with the service because I asked that they warm up the milk a bit more before they made the latte.

Had to wait 15 minutes for 2 coffees. When we finally got the coffee, we saw that the cups were still dirty. (Cappuccino edge caked). Went back with the coffee and asked for a new one. This is no longer served. The wait for a croissant to go with coffee also took a very long time. Go to another coffee shop!

So I basically went here to grab something to eat while I waited for my next bus. I paid 14,20€ for the Lucifer sandwich which is in my opinion very expensive for triangle sandwich (2 triangles). I must say it was not good at all. I am usually not a picky eater and I do tend to finish my food even if I dislike it (especially for that price) but I couldn’t even finish it because it was just awful. I don’t know what exactly it was but something in the sandwich tasted veryyyy off… and on top of that I got food poisoning from it, my stomach is a MESS. For that price you can do better! (The salad they put inside the sandwich wasn’t fresh, and the egg salad was just off… the “chicken slice” had an awkward taste to it too…

Very good place to work and have online meetings. Amazing music with coffee thats a little on the expensive side but totally worth it as it has deeper flavors. THE BEST CHEESECAKE !!

It's next to the bus station, so it's the perfect place for a coffee before heading to the airport. I saw that they serve several dishes, I just sat down for a coffee. Nice staff and service, clean and tidy place.
