Starbucks in Meerhoven

I've had very mixed experiences specifically at this Starbucks location since mid-2025. Since then, I've enjoyed drinking filter coffee at Starbucks because it's slightly cheaper than an Americano, and the filter coffee is usually already brewed (with a few exceptions). They could serve me quickly, but they often don't. They often try to talk me out of ordering a filter coffee because they haven't brewed it yet. They then try to recommend an Americano because, according to them, it's ready faster than a filter coffee. I've noticed this also happens at other Starbucks locations, such as Breda station, Maastricht station, and Arnhem station. In contrast, locations like Hermanus Boexstraat in Eindhoven, 's-Hertogenbosch station, and Utrecht station are known for almost always having filter coffee ready for me. I've noticed at Eindhoven Airport that the staff there are predominantly staff who consciously choose not to treat the customer like royalty. I hope there are consequences for the idiosyncratic behavior of some of those servers who treat customers this way. Starbucks itself expects its staff to have filter coffee brewed and ready to serve all day, anywhere in the world. Kudos to those proactive exceptions who are capable of doing their jobs well. In my opinion, those who make me wait for my filter coffee should find another job.

No Dutch. Dirty tables. Dirty floor.

More than an hour before closing time, the chairs are already on the table. A very unfriendly, even rude guy apparently wants to go home asap. What awful energy. Last time here!

Tonight I ordered a cappuccino from an arrogant employee who made no effort to speak a word of Dutch. Customer service is nowhere to be found!

The location is not compliant, there are people roaming around 🐁 🐭 at night in this Starbucks!!! I could see them from the window!!!

Even in perfect Dutch, you can't order anything here. You have to resort to poor English for a very mediocre and outrageously expensive coffee.

This bucks latte was not hot at all...

There's a special offer for coffee and croissants for +1.50. At checkout, they charged 3.95 for the croissants. So if you're not careful, you'll be screwed.

Today, my fiancé and I ate delicious sandwiches there, but the girl at the register was incredibly grumpy. She glared at everyone around her. She served the sandwiches, sour-faced, and didn't say a word.

Mango dragonfruit is %90 ice. I threw it away. I don't like it. You can just buy water. Waste of money.

Sam and his colleagues always provide the most delicious coffees. The employees are super friendly and attentive!

The blueberry cake was not my thing. The caramel iced coffee was mediocre especially for the price. Starbucks is not my fav place

Twice they overcharged me for the drinks. Firstly saying they heard me wrong, and the second time for the Tiramisu iced latte claiming that the price on the sign of the NEW drink is wrong and that they are constantly changing prices. Instead of correcting it in the system she wanted to give me the difference from €6,15 to 5,95 (the supposed price) from the tip jar. I said no, and left.

Wow, this visit was so good. Anouk, she was at the cash register and took this experience to a higher level. Super friendly, open and relaxed. We also had 2 delicious drinks. Top service

I do not recommend to eat there mainly because of the very bad hygiene. There are mouses inside the place after the closing. Look out for this problem and the hygiene at this place.

Coffee tastes like dishwasher water and toasted sandwiches are soggy

Hola, en la mañana del domingo 27 de abril de 2025, me detuve en su café antes de regresar a Italia. El café estaba bien, preparado por una chica muy amable y acogedora con el pelo rojo. Poco después de mi registro, me di cuenta de que había dejado mi corazón en el mostrador y me preguntaba si, por casualidad, la encantadora niña pelirroja podría haberlo encontrado. ☺️ Llevaba una chaqueta azul claro y estaba allí con un grupo de unas 10 personas. A nice, spacious coffee shop with free seats in the hall or on the veranda (on the street). The coffee is delicious, a good choice for the taste of discerning visitors.

Located just before the main entry to the Eindhoven terminal. Good internet. Great coffee, but check the levels! I asked for a tall, got a tall cup, but one quarter empty! Which to me is a simple scam in your face ! Quite noisy and dirty. Had no aircon (or was never switched on), which results in you cooking behind the large windows glasses. Friendy personnel, always with a smile.

Hello, on the morning of Sunday april 27th 2025, I stopped by you cafè for a coffee before heading back to Italy. The coffee was fine, prepared from a very kind and welcoming girl with red hair. Shortly, after my check-in, I realised I had left my heart on the counter and I was wondering if, by any chance, the lovely red haired girl might have found it ☺️ I was wearing a light blue jacket and was there with a group of about 10 people. What a terrible experience! An extremely unpleasant woman at the cash register. She didn't speak a word of Dutch and her English was barely understandable. Communicating with her was a disaster, and instead of doing her best, she was rude too! When we asked to speak to the manager she claimed to be the manager herself. If that is true, then Starbucks should be ashamed of themselves and urgently review their hiring policy. It is crazy that an airport hires a 'manager' without any charisma and without decent communication skills. How can such a person be loaded in such a position. I sincerely hope that they take a closer look at this and replace her immediately.

Average coffee. Slices of cake getting thinner while prices getting higher. Overrated, not worth value for money

I ordered hot chocolate, but got slightly sweetened milk instead. Not worth it.

Convenient location at the Gates at Eindhoven Airport. You can walk right in and there is usually not a very long line.

Very busy place ,but staff is very polite and helpful.

I stopped by Starbucks on Wednesday morning before my flight and chose their tall stroopwafel latte. The baristas were friendly and accommodating, making the coffee just the way I like it. While the café had a pleasant ambiance, it was disappointing to see it so untidy. Many of the couches and tables were covered with leftovers and stains, which took away from the experience.

A wonderful coffee shop, I love going here, we live nearby and sometimes in the evenings my husband and I come here to drink coffee, good service, the girls are always polite and this is important, I want to come back. The coffee is very tasty, incredibly simple. Thank you very much 💙

I always use it when I have time to wait for my flight. A great place to wait. However, it's always crowded so it's hard to find an empty table. I have the impression that the store is not cleaned well, probably because the staff are too busy. The cappuccino and cookies were just as delicious as other stores.

I wanted to order a coffee but no one spoke Dutch. After ordering in English, three men stood there watching until I had to leave to catch my flight. Never got coffee. I wanted to ask why it took so long but got no response.

I genuinely wish you'd stop with the using names. You can never get mine right, and despite asking not to have to use it, you do it anyway and of course wrong again! It doesn't make it personal it makes me feel terrible. Btw the cinamon roll was extremely dry. The coffee was great tough.

Unbelievable how disinterested and disrespectful the supervisor is there. Moreover when i tried to explain to her that she didnt pass on my very specific order to the barista and chose to argue with me about what beverage i wanted. Not too difficult: wet ( no foam) latte 3/4 full... all she could do was interrupt me and say "yes but". Then tried to dismiss me without so much as an apology.... The entitled behaviour is just so horrible. When i asked if she had a boss she lied about that too... Well rather than waste time sending an email to starbucks, my soon to be ex favorite brand , maybe my comment here might prompt some action from the training department on how to treat customers..... without the arrogance....

A great place to grab a bite to eat and drink good coffee before or after your trip. Fast and friendly service.

Allows smoking in the outside sitting zone, what a “care for health”

Caramel macchiatto besteld. Tot 3x toe niet in staat om de juiste koffie te maken. Poging 1, zonder slagroom gemaakt. Poging 2 met slagroom maar er wordt een deksel op de beker gedaan. Poging 3, de caramel saus vergeten. De medewerker wilde bij poging 3 opnieuw een deksel op de beker doen. Hierna hebben we het opgegeven. De cheesecake smaakte alsof deze al een week oud was. In totaal ruim €23 betaald voor 2 koffie en 2 cheesecake aardbei. Een zeer teleurstellende ervaring, Starbucks is niet meer wat het geweest is. We komen hier nooit meer.

It's amazing how disinterested the staff is. Five people strong, but all the tables are full of rubbish. Two employees kept complaining about how terrible their employer was. He talked about quitting soon and taking all his vacation days. In the meantime, I waited for my cappuccino, but given their busy conversations, my name was not known to a colleague further down the road. So I waited for a while (while they saw that). Employers should be happy if these people find another place to work! Cheesecake and cappuccino were tasty, so there is nothing to complain about.

Coffee is undrinkable- burnt milk, no barrista would serve coffee like that. What a shame for 5€ cup of coffee I would expect a bit more…

Great place to wait for your gate to open. It is always crowded but it is possible to find a table to take your order. The service was discreet, the prices were normal for the chain and the Iced cappuccino was delicious.

Very disinterested staff, standing behind the counter complaining about Starbucks as an employer and not looking at you. Coffee is made without passion, milk was literally poured upside down into the coffee. Shame. Generally good experiences at Starbucks!

They do not prepare beverages correctly, even if it is asked to be served for the second time, and they do not accept that they have made mistakes.

This is my second time here and both times flat white did not look like flat white. It looked like cappuccino and they didn’t put it on kids even though I asked.

Voordat we vertrokken naar Roemenië, de laatste kop koffie in Eindhoven. Er waren genoeg zitplaatsen en de koffie was prima.

Druk, duur en niet lekker. Normale Starbucks prijzen, maar de koffie (cappucino) was niet smakelijk, de Chai Latte was direct lauw. Er is niet voldoende plek om te zitten. Het personeel was verder erg vriendelijk.

Go on vacation: 1) eat a 5 cheese toastie at Starbucks & drink some hot chocolate 🍫

It's fun here. I asked for White Mocha Frappe and I was asked with or without coffe...🤔 Isn't Mocha the type of coffee or the way you make it..? Wonder whether you can have Latte without coffe or Americano without coffe..

Koffie en chocomel niet te zuipen. Ze schrijven verkeerde namen op de bekers en roepen het niet om als je zit te wachten. Wat een matige zaak daar en kost ook nog een beetje bah .

Altijd leuk om heen te gaan. Veel keuze. Je kan ook zelf je eigen drankje samenstellen. Zeker een aanrader.

Tegenwoordig steeds meer luxe en hippe koffievarianten..ik hou het liever bij goede cappuccino

Voor mijn vlucht wou ik Starbucks halen. Alleen door cafeïne worden mijn angsten vergroot en daarom bestel ik dan decafe koffie. Dit deed ik ook hier. Er vanuitgaand dat ik decade koffie had begon ik die te drinken maar ongeveer op de helft zag ik dat op mijn beker het decade kruisje NIET was aangekruist. Ik vond dit jammer want ik moest hierna vliegen en ik heb nogal vliegangst. Ook stond er maar twee man en was er een lange wachttijd, en de rietjes waren van papier en die waren snel kapot

Ik kwam hier nadat ik mijn moeder had afgezet, die in het buitenland woont. Ik was nog een beetje aan het huilen, en het personeel heeft mij echt weer aan het lachen gemaakt. Hij begon een leuk en fijn gesprek met me en gaf mij een gratis upgrade van mijn drankje. Het zijn van die kleine dingen die het leven mooi maken, en vergeet dit nooit meer! 🫶🏻

My flight was delayed, and I decided to grab a chai latte from here. The drink itself was a little bit too sweet for my taste, but overall, it was really good. The lady at the counter was really nice and smiled while taking my order, I can always appreciate a genuine smile! After a while, the same lady was giving away hot chocolate samples to all customers to try. When she came to me, I said I couldn't have any because I'm lactose intolerant. In a few minutes, she came back with a plant based version. Realy lovely service! Small things can really make your day. Thank you for making my not so good day a better one!😊

Llegar a altas horas de la madrugada y poder tomar un café, siempre es agradable. Aunque como ya se sabe es un poco caro , pero tienen gran variedad de cafés incluidos sin lactosa, de soja.... A la hora de recoger el café es un poco anarquico , nadie controla el café que coges. Yo misma me equivoqué y lo puse otra vez allí y nadie lo repuso . Un poco mal controlado en ese aspecto ,por lo demás muy bien .

So overpriced, which is typical for airports of course. I did not like the chai latte at all, it tastes like they used syrups instead of actual chai for the drink. Pain au chocolate was okay and crispy.
