Best snack bar of Maastricht for so long

I love that it is open for so long, fries are nicely done even when its late. Sauces could be a bit better and it is always pretty crowded.

The food is certainly tasty, at least what we had. The prices are exorbitant for what you get.

I always order via Thuisbezorgd from Lucky Luc. When I ask for it to be delivered at 9:00 PM, they ring the bell at 8:59 PM. Time and time again they are always on time. Nice and friendly delivery people.

On a Saturday night I was on a journey through Maastricht searching for some food with my girlfriend. It was 3am and everything was closed. Our only hope was Lucky Luc… but when we arrived it was closed. Our hopes for some juicy fries were destroyed. Already turning our back to the store with desperate cravings the most amazing thing happened. This amazing guy behind the bar saw our disappointed faces. He opened the door and told us to wait. He put a huge portion of fries into a big bag and to our surprise he just gave it to us! On the house! Great guy, great place! Can definitely recommend to anybody who passes here!!!

After a previous good experience at this snack bar, we decided to return again for the delicious chicken burger. The chicken burger did not disappoint this time either! In our experience, the burger was a lot spicier than last time. But certainly no less tasty! In addition to the chicken burger, we also specially ordered large fries. Last time it was a large fries of sour meat. Just like on our first visit, the fries were nice and large and crispy. Definitely worth repeating again!

I've been here several times. Delicious fries every time, cooked as they should be. The fries are well cooked, crispy and not greasy at all.

You order something and then you have to fight for your order. They don't remember what you had or when you came in, so if there are several people with the same thing after you, they will just take your order and you will have to wait longer.

Unfortunately only one star because the lady is not able to open on time. We sat there for 25 minutes until half past three, which didn't bother her. This is how you get rid of customers. When they're open you can eat delicious fries here, but we don't come here anymore.

Good for a snack if you want to eat something fried. The fries were delicious. The choice of sauces overwhelmed us... there were so many we didn't know. The frikandel and the croquettes were ok. There is still a lot of room for improvement when it comes to the friendliness of the staff and the tidying and cleaning of the location.

We had dinner here to finish our visit to Maastricht and try the typical Dutch fried foods. The guy who served us tried very hard to explain to us in English what each of the snacks on the menu consisted of, very friendly and attentive. We were served quickly, the food was delicious and at a fantastic price (four people dined for less than thirty euros). In addition, the restaurant is well located, in a very central area. Our dinner coincided with a concert by the violinist André Rieu, which we could watch from the table surrounded by a large number of locals who were excitedly celebrating the live broadcast of the concert. Without a doubt an unforgettable experience, we will repeat if the opportunity arises.

Fries are nice (with sauce). Personally enjoyed the fries here more than in other places in Maastricht. However, the service speed when picking them up for take away was extremely long.

Very neat and tidy chip shop. Fries were fresh and perfectly cooked. Staff were all very friendly, you could really smell the fresh fat they use. And the price was great! Also a lot of choice of snacks.

Has been around for many years and are open till late. Before hitting the town a good place to enjoy some typical Dutch snack food.

Top place for fries while going out, but home delivery is a no-go. Fries were cold and half were forgotten, snitzel was too hard, just like the pickled meat. I don't think the way the food is transported is ideal for more than a certain distance. Delivery was fast and friendly.

I was not at all impressed with the fries. The portions are large, and the prices are fair, but the quality is lacking. I guess that whilst drunk (considering that there are quite a lot of pubs nearby), quality becomes a secondary concern, and thus this becomes a worthwhile snack place!
