We've already enjoyed a few delicious meals at Luza's, where the owner is very friendly and the service is incredibly fast. Delicious food (and we're definitely picky) for a fair price, close to the Dappermarkt. The homemade tuna salad is highly recommended! It's your go-to lunch spot to recover from a round of Dapper.

Craziness! We went there twice for breakfast and both times it was incredibly tasty. The sandwiches are particularly recommended, especially the club sandwich. The homemade apple pie was also absolutely delicious. The orange juice is freshly squeezed and the coffee is very good. The waiters are super nice and also speak English very well. Highly recommended!

Delicious food today! Tasty sandwiches. I had the vegan sandwich with avocado, delicious combination! Service is 100% top notch It did get busy around 12:00 and it was also neatly indicated, which I think is also important. Food was tasty and the coffee tasted good. You can sit inside or outside and are on the market side. Friendly staff and a nice spot in Amsterdam East.

Lidl sandwich 50 cents, 2 slices of tomato 50 cents, arugula 50 cents, 3 slices of cheese 1 euro, well-fried egg 50 cents which I did not ask for and is not usual for a healthy sandwich, total damage 14 euros please and no feedback questions about the food, sorry, but you should be deeply ashamed, the cost price is a maximum of 3 euros and you charge your customers x 5 the cost price 🤦 I would change the menu as soon as possible and please check how to make a normal sandwich healthy

Nice place for breakfast. The food was tasty. I have ordered an orange juice, flat white and scrambled eggs with avocado and fries. Evrything was really good. We ordered a croissant as well, it was nice. The staff was friendly.

Breakfast is ok - but quite boring compared to others!

We were there for breakfast and it was disappointing. The croissants with ham and cheese were very small and served naked on a plate, the avocado we ordered was forgotten. The scrambled eggs with toast were exactly that too. Lovely on a plate, very dry and nothing to go with it. The latte macchiato was served in a simple 2.5dl glass.

The brunch is really delicious! There wasn't a lot of choice on the menu for sweets which is a bit of a shame but otherwise nothing to say, the quality is there, the staff is friendly, the decoration is very very pretty and the atmosphere is very cozy and relaxing.

This cute cafe is hiding behind the Dapper market. I’ve almost passed by without trying. They have small simple menu but it is very tasty foods they serve. Plus I loved the cozy atmosphere. The french toast with additional bacon was simply so good. Definitely will come back to try other dishes!

So if you're looking for a place where the food is as Instagram-worthy as the conversations, Luza's is your go-to spot – just don't blame us if you end up staying for dessert... and dinner.

Best coffee in Amsterdam. Been coming here every day for years. Special beans from Manetti that are really exceptionally tasty. In addition, excellent food made with love. The owner is also always in the tent and in the service. And you notice that!

Delicious apple pie and very friendly and enthusiastic staff. It is clear that they enjoy their work, nice atmosphere.

I ate a tuna sandwich on a ciabatta sandwich, the bottom of which was very hard, also very expensive, I eat them often, but this price could drop a bit. We sat at the back against the wall and then you look at a kind of wooden table where the toilet paper and other storage was, too bad. Toilet was also very dirty, it also looks very messy.

Just sit down, you will be served in a casual atmosphere and you will be satisfied on your plate.

Enjoyed a cup of coffee here with something tasty. Service is very friendly. That's why we always come back here when we visit the Dappermarkt. Recommended

We had a drink at Luza's. We still know it as a brown cafe, so it has had a major makeover. It all looks fresh and nicely decorated. Still, it came across as less professional than it looks. A toilet roll in the towel dispenser in the toilet to dry your hands and we had the feeling of literally being swept out of the tent. Staff started vacuuming at a quarter past 3 and you had to be careful not to trip over the wire. It took some time to clean up something, but it was thoroughly vacuumed. Not so nice if you want to have a drink. As a result, we drank the drink and left after a short visit, feeling a bit unwelcome. Shame! Such a first impression!

Small restaurant found thanks to Google reviews and I confirm, very pleasant atmosphere, a good choice and excellent cuisine.

Walking through the Dappermarkt for unexpected groceries at the market, we bumped into Luza. An attractive breakfast and lunchroom with a wonderful host. Hospitality is clearly in his genes. The service was also very fast and efficient. He was very polite and kept the door open for every customer. A real host. Delicious Italian coffee is served. Really good beans. Tasty sandwiches. In short, highly recommended. Definitely come back again. Thank you.

Fantastisch leuke plek om even te lunchen,leuke en gezellige sfeer. Bediening helemaal top!! Latte macchiato en club sandwich waren top, ik had een baguette gezond en dat was erg overprijsd, want het was een ciabatta (klein) met een plakje kaas,ham en tomaat en wat rucola. Dit had ipv 13,95€ wel 6,95 mogen kosten. Maar ondanks dit heerlijk gezeten.

Heerlijk geluncht vandaag bij Luzas. De vega club sandwich is echt een aanrader. Joshua was super vriendelijk en heeft ons warm ontvangen. Ik kom zeker gauw weer keertje lunchen. Super leuke Lunch Room bij de Dappermarkt!

Ein sehr schönes Cafe. Tolles Ambiente in Verbindung mit angenehmer ruhiger Cafehaus Musik. Leckere Speisen und super freundlicher Bedienung durch den Chef. Dazu noch super geheim Tipps zu anderen Angeboten in Amsterdam. Wir sagen Dankeschön und kommen gerne wieder vorbei.

Super netter Chef. Der Apfelkuchen war köstlich und die Preise günstig. Und noch ganz tolle Tips bekommen.

Unfortunately they changed their menu so do not expect fancy brunch style food but rather expensive baguettes and toastis 🥲 Good vibes though, nice decorations and lighting

Het zijn lieve mensen, maar 14 euro voor een broodje tonijn kan echt niet. Het zou ook een stokbrood zijn, maar ‘t was een soort afbak ciabatta. Teleurstellend.

Fijn restaurant voor zowel een lekkere lunch met vrienden als een goed ontbijt met je kids. Lief personeel en het eten is voortreffelijk!

I love this place; I usually come here for breakfast. The smell of croissants reaches outside the shop, and the family management is very kind and caring. The owner's smile is contagious! Highly recommended, even though it's hard to find a good breakfast spot in Amsterdam.

It’s an okay place to grab a quick bite. The menu consists largely of sandwiches and some overpriced scrambled eggs (ie. 12 euro just the eggs; bacon, cheese, etc is all extra). I had a club sandwich for 14 euro and thought it tasted alright, but maybe too expensive for a s and simple sandwich. Not a place I’d go to for a weekend brunch.

Het is altijd wel gezellig maar ze serveren heel kleine maaltijden voor ene best wel hoge prijs, de bediening is vaak helemaal niet aanwezig, het duurt lang voor je het eten krijgt, het is wel een goede sfeer alleen jammer dat je tegen de achterkant van een markt kraampje kijkt. Samen gevat. Een 3

Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich und stets bemüht alle Kunden in deren Muttersprache zu bedienen. Das Essen ist sehr lecker, aber nicht besonders preiswert. Dennoch komme ich immer gerne wieder.

Good morning coffee on a Sunday

Such a soothing place to have breakfast. The staff were so bubbly and kind even when we made annoying requests. The atmosphere was a combination of calm, soothing music over the top of lovely food and staff that felt like ya best buds.

The atmosphere was nice and relaxed and the waitress was friendly. Unfortunately, they could not make poached eggs and my eggs benedict could only been made with scrambled eggs, which bears the question how does a brunch place not make poached eggs but scrambled eggs. Anyways, the bagle was warm and toasted and the bacon tasty, but the presentation was just a bit underwhelming. I would have expected a little garnish of maybe a small salad to make it a complete meal, for 13+ euros per meal it was looking really quite sad. It felt off, as if something went wrong in the kitchen and they still tried to send stuff out. I saw other tables ordering sweet dishes and those looked a million times better. It's nice that thay had decaf.

Had a lovely breakfast early on a sleepy Sunday morning. I was the only customer for the first few minutes I was there, and it was a fantastic, relaxing atmosphere. Breakfast was delicious (french toast and fresh fruit) and the staff were warm and friendly. The neighborhood isn't as touristy, so it's a great spot to feel a bit like a local.
