Hoofdprijs betalen voor een diepvries donker bruin geblakerde kalfs schnitzel. Vanaf half 3 tot 7 uur gezeten. Nooit geweten dat er zoveel fout kon gaan. Mensen liepen boos weg zonder te betalen omdat het bij het belachelijke af was. Het personeel wel vriendelijk en verontschuldigend maar…. Bij een bezetting van 4 tafeltjes tegen het einde werd aangegeven dat het 20 minuten zou duren voordat de drankjes zouden komen…….ik dacht dat we het ergste destijds bij IJM strandhuis hadden meegemaakt maar dit was de overtreffende trap….en nogmaals je betaalt gewoon de hoofdprijs. Plekje en uitzicht is natuurlijk ook onbetaalbaar.

A good menu, nice and friendly staff and you can eat deliciously and sit in a very pleasant atmosphere

We made a reservation on Saturday with our large family via Social Deal for fondue. In a previous experience we had a delicious meal in a nice atmosphere and the little one had the time of his life with the play equipment in the restaurant. Unfortunately it resulted in disappointment on Saturday. Due to our little one, we deliberately made a reservation at 4:30 PM and were one of the first there. (apart from a private party in the 'conservatory') There was no place at the table for the little one, he had to sit somewhere in between or in a corner in his high chair and my question about how he would eat if there was no place at the table was answered with that he could only eat before or after us. had to eat if he wasn't going to join us for fondue. The fondue was fine, although we did not find the variety of vegetables with the cheese fondue very large. The fondue burners were empty in no time and contacting someone from the service was virtually impossible due to the crowds. We always had to wait a long time to order drinks or ask questions/requests and the drinks also took a long time to arrive. After clearing the table, we waited a long time, after which we asked ourselves whether we could use dessert with our package. The girl serving said it would arrive shortly, at least... once we ordered. However, this was not the case and she did not know whether it was part of our arrangement. After asking to pay for the ice cream, we also waited 20 minutes for the bill. The bill arrived, it also included the already paid arrangements from Social Deal. The boy normally worked at IJM and didn't know about it and asked his colleague to solve it with us. After some time we managed to pay, all in all we were one of the last to leave the restaurant. I also expressed my dissatisfaction to the colleague I paid for, but I couldn't say anything more than sorry. The nice company was present, but the poor service and ignorant staff detracted from the experience we had in the restaurant last weekend.

Despite the crowds, we still enjoyed a very good dinner. Definitely worth 5 stars

Had a nice end to the day here. Smooth service and a tasty bite.

This was our first time here and we started with a delicious cup of coffee. Then we went for a lovely 5km run. Afterwards we had a delicious glass of wine and beer. Then we went to the monument of flight. And then had a delicious meal from a nice and affordable menu. We had a great day. And certainly worth repeating, which will certainly happen.

According to opening hours, they had just opened, but staff were still busy cleaning. No one came to greet us and welcome us. Several staff members saw us. We just sat down at a table and were looked at as if we were doing something very stupid. After fifteen minutes they still didn't come by for a menu or something like that. So we left. Very unfriendly.

Bad service takes a long time to help you

Very nice place. Lots of sun on the terrace. But unfortunately also a lot of wind. As a result, the parasols could not be set up. Food is truly fantastic. The location too. Too bad you have to go down a flight of stairs to get to the toilet. My wife has difficulty walking. We couldn't easily see an elevator. You're doing fantastic. Continue this.

Poor communication, reserved for 16 adults, immediately stated by telephone, child will be added, so 17 people. table set for 16. called to ask for decoration if it was allowed and that was possible, when they arrived they didn't know anything about it. meat for fondeu was great, fries ridiculous with 16 people, 4 bowls of 10 by 5, asked for extra fries, got 8 baskets, enough for 1 person and you have to pay 4.50 per basket for them. vegetables were lettuce and meat on the plate, 1 asparagus, quarter mushroom and half tomatoes. 1 woman in blue shirt was friendly, the boy wasn't really friendly, couldn't handle the pressure.

What bad food! The difference with Het Strandhuis and Madame Zita is really enormous. It's unbelievable that there can be so much difference in two businesses from the same owner. Do yourself a favor and don't go here for lunch. The food is burnt, very little and the plate is not even finished.

Because it was hanging outside with its legs outside, it settled here, there was plenty of space and it was really on par with the neighbors! Sitting next to the beach in the shade, wonderful! We came for drinks and snacks and we really enjoyed it. The young service was very friendly, correct and fast. The Zinderende Zita cocktail is highly recommended! So deliciously refreshing!! And the snack board was tasty and a lot! The only thing I missed was a cushion in the chair and some nice music, but hey, I only realized that when I left, so what am I talking about. I think it is more aimed at families with children, but the interior design is also great, everything is well thought out and coordinated, but that is less the case outside, but we thought that did not detract from the experience! We have a new place!

Good atmosphere, tasty food, fast & friendly service

It's a lovely place to sit, good atmosphere, the service was clearly inexperienced but did their best. Perfect for a small snack and a drink. We will definitely go back again!

Food is mediocre, looks good, but the taste is so-so. Gambas piri piri were excellent! Only in terms of service, that leaves something to be desired. Many mistakes were made with various orders and you actually had to wait a long time even for simple dishes. Also waiting for payment... It seems like there are enough people employed, so think more problems with the organization. Tables are close together. We came across a strong smell of cheese fondue, which spoiled the atmosphere somewhat.

The food was delicious. The terrace was packed. The number of staff was not completely adjusted to this. We had made a reservation but didn't really get a nice spot. Beautiful location. It was nice that we could sit outside.

Wonderful place to eat, even with the children. Simple play attic. Nice little dessert bar for the kids. The only downside, the portions are large. Certainly much too big for the children. A waste of food. The food and also for the children was very tasty. Casual atmosphere. Tuna from the hot plate is highly recommended

Good food, kind employees, and many spaces for kids and family!

I give this review based on a salad, salmon salad, was very good, varied, with plenty of smoked salmon, my wife had carpaccio, meat was good, arugula salad a bit on the meager side, but everything much better than restaurant "Buurt" in Den Bosch where the salmon salad was bad and expensive.

Ate with 6 adults and 2 children. The drinks took a long time and went wrong, but that was resolved perfectly and we were pleasantly surprised by the delicious food in good portions. Good price-quality ratio in a beautiful location

Service is hard to find. Want to pay, phone empty. Sorry sir, but you are not allowed to charge your phone here. Until it is reported that payment cannot be made.

bad, waited 20 minutes for our menu, then a dry dish on the drinks plate and the cocktails tasted like water. Never come back here again, disgusting! Oh yes, and we only got two bitterballen and two shrimps, not much for your money, very sad! Not recommended! Scammers!

Nicely decorated (1950s style) restaurant, beautifully located on IJzeren man. The menu is varied and partly aimed at small children: snacks, pizza, hamburgers, but also steak or tuna. The service was quite smooth, dishes arrived quickly. It was also relatively quiet, but the run-up is probably a bit smaller with rainy weather. Steaks and spare ribs were fine. Points for improvement: the half rooster was quite dry, some gravy or a sauce would have made the dish better. The dessert of (lukewarm) chocolate fondue with some cookies and strawberries (25.50 for three people) was also a bit disappointing.

Eigenlijk viel het hier helemaal niet tegen! Best een goede prijs/kwaliteitverhouding en personeel deed echt enorm haar best. Zeker als je het vergelijkt met het naast gelegen Strandhuys, waar service en prijzen nog als eens flink tegenvallen, steekt Madame Zita hier zeer positief af!

Service is slow. Waiting over 35 min for French fries. Pulled chicken sandwich came out cold. Waitress said the kitchen is busy. Looking around only 30 percent of the tables are occupied. Disappointed

Nice location, but the service is very slow and the food leaves much to be desired. The pancakes are way too thick and undercooked. They thought so too, but to solve the problem they would like to compensate for a drink, but they will not deduct the pancakes from the bill.

Lovely terrace for eating outside in the sun. Simple but tasty dishes at a good price. The Vega loaded Fries with pulled Jackfruit was really large but tasty (a different sauce option with BBQ or something like that would have been a nice addition). Tasty salad and small but good Fish&Chips. The house Chardonnay is not recommended, but all in all a nice place for a very good price quality.

The restaurant has a fantastic waterfront view, perfect for sunny days on the beach ☀️🌊. The menu offers a variety of dishes, and I particularly enjoyed the kalfschnitzel 🍽️. We experienced friendly and attentive service. (ʘ‿ʘ)

Wanted to have drink on the terrasse, the only option was under the sun with my 3 yo kid or inside. There was plenty of space not booked outside on the terrasse with shadows.

Looks nice but the service is really drunk. We sat outside but were asked to sit closer to the door because otherwise the staff would have to walk too far... and there is little available for lunch. And the prices are crazy high.

We have eaten with the 3 course dinner through the social deal west, we really enjoyed it twice and have already booked again. So it does mean that it is good, also a nice location and the restaurant is very cozy, you have to wait a bit but it is also busy that's why 🧑‍🍳🍽️👍

Lange wachttijden, karige gerechten. Pannenkoek lauw en broodjes weinig waar voor behoorlijk bedrag. Erg warm binnen en om ons heen ook veel mensen met incomplete bestelling.

Jam-packed occasion. A kind of children's paradise. Very nice if you have children with you, but otherwise I would go somewhere else. Service was a bit on the indifferent side.

Next time at Burgers, please have a regular sandwich, not a pink bun.

Super mooie lokatie, dat is een feit! Echt jammer dat de prijzen zo hoog zijn voor hetgeen je krijgt. De broodjes zijn klein en zonder garnering. Onze 3 kids mochten een ijsje halen aan de ijs/snoepbar; ze kwamen terug met 2x een klein bakje en 1x een hoorntje met ieder twee kleine bolletjes ijs. Tot mijn grote verbazing zagen we op de rekening dat deze 3 kleine ijsjes €21!!!!! kostten; €3,50 per bolletje; €7,00 per ijsje! Het spijt me zeer, maar ik vind dit echt een schandaal! Voor hetzelfde geldt heb je op veel andere plekken een grote sorbet met van alles erop er aan. Wij komen i.i.g. niet meer terug, echt jammer!

Service is completely okay, but the fact that you can only pay with PIN is a very big negative point! Cash is legal tender❗️

Delicious pancakes and good service

After tasting chicken on a spit many times, both in Spain and the Netherlands, I can say with certainty that Madam Zita deserves a place at the top of my list. Their rotisserie chicken is simply sublime and left me thoroughly impressed. What is immediately noticeable is the perfect preparation of the chicken. The skin is irresistibly crispy, a golden coating that crackles with every bite. But the real secret is in what lies beneath: the meat is surprisingly juicy, retains its natural flavors and is so tender it almost falls off the bone. This balance between crispy and juicy is what makes the perfect rotisserie chicken for me.

Starter was fine, pizza was very well done, just not tasty. Service was very friendly but it all took quite a while. It is great there for children.

Great place to have a bite to eat. Especially for people with small children, because there is plenty of play space. Nice location at Ijzeren Man, but such a shame that your view is completely ruined by inflatable bouncy castles.

Went today with the grandchildren who both had a social deal lunch menu. The tomato soup was very tasty and also the bread with dips. Pizza and pancake were also very popular, as was dessert. Beautiful ambiance and the play attic and bouncy castles were also popular. I think we'll have another lunch next week.

Went because it would be fun for the kids. The play attic is sparse, there is a TV that was not on and some video games. The pizza was paper thin, overcooked and contained more tomato sauce than cheese

We hebben ontzettend lang moeten wachten, ik denk ruim een uur op ons eten, hadden een pannekoek, een pizza en 3 burgers, niet heel moeilijk. Het zat bij lange na niet vol dus kan probleem niet zijn. Het waren kant en klaar burger met weinig tot geen garnering en wat frietjes erbij. Het dessert, chocolade fondue was serieus gewoon dunne chocolade saus die je over ijs krijgt. Wij zouden er niet nog een keer gaan eten. Kaart is veel te duur voor wat je krijgt.

De eerste keer bezocht net na de opening, destijds niet zo’n goede ervaring. Dit lag vooral aan de prijs/kwaliteit verhouding. Vandaag bezocht en onze kids vonden de speelzolder erg leuk. Het eten was zelfs beter dan de eerste keer, maar de bediening….oef. De kaart en bestelmodule komen niet overeen, waardoor onze tafelburen teleurgesteld werden. Dat kan. Maar gezien dit feit controleerden wij onze bestelling met de online bestelmodule die netjes aangaf dat er bepaalde producten niet beschikbaar waren. Uiteindelijk bleek 1 product niet beschikbaar te zijn, dat was nog niet doorgevoerd op de module. Kan gebeuren, maar door twee serveersters werden we zeer brutaal behandeld. Uiteindelijk de rekening gevraagd en wederom zat alles fout wat bij ons dan gelukkig op onze lachspieren werkt, maar menig ander zou misschien wat meer geïrriteerd hierdoor raken. Gezien de prachtige locatie en de moeilijke tijden om kundig personeel aan te trekken toch drie stippen.

Lovely place for festivities and celebrations. The food was good and good service too. If load music is not your thing don't go.

Very nice place to have a nice meal or something to drink, before and after a walk around the Iron Man.

Did the SD menu today. Naturally reduced rates: always risky, but it gives a restaurant the opportunity to show what they can do. Have mixed feelings about it. The atmosphere is great; Despite the high ceiling there is still a warm, cozy atmosphere. The interior looks new and fresh. The Cotton Candy corner is very attractive and the outdoor terrace also looks good. The kids attic is great! The staff was super nice and attentive! We were helped politely and were treated politely. Compliments for this as this can be a nasty point these days. The concept: well, what is it? Pancakes, loaded fries, burgers, fondue... it's a bit unclear what kind of restaurant this is. Doesn't have to be a bad thing, of course, but focusing on a specific segment makes more sense. I was shocked by the tomato soup I ordered. This tasted (obviously) like Cup a Soup. Soup from a carton? Can't prove it of course, but that wasn't good. Make your own soup with meatballs and some cream; top! The beef burger was very good; thick burger, tender meat, tasty sauce. Loaded fries were disappointing. Little flavor to the kebab and nothing special. Tip: go to 't Vosje in Rosmalen and see how they do it! Pancake for the little one was fine...a pity that you get the Nutella in disposable portions instead of a nice layer on top from the kitchen. Add a little crushed hazelnut on top and you have just that little bit extra. Ice cream corner is fun. Different flavors of ice cream and soft ice cream. Some sauce and sprinkles on top. Tasty! We will come back here in the summer when the terrace is open to give it a second chance. Hopefully the tomato soup has improved.

Met 2 vriendinnen heerlijk gegeten. Alles zo mooi en bijzonder ingericht. Hangt een goede sfeer.

Leuke plek! Ideaal voor met kinderen.

Tijdens de opening was ik Madame Zita bij Madame Zita. Wat is het er supergroot en gezellig! Superleuk voor kids, er zijn allerlei leuke speelhoekjes overal. Heel gezellig interieur, je wordt meteen blij als je er binnenkomt. Het ligt heerlijk aan het water met een groot terras. Er werken allemaal vriendelijke en behulpzame mensen. Zeker een aanrader!

Bestelling geplaatst toen het nog zeer rustig was. Vervolgens 1 uur wachten en zien anderen die na ons kwamen eten krijgen. Na klagen hierover te horen krijgen dat ze personeelstekorten hebben. Heeft niets te maken met volgorde. Sowieso de discussie starten was verbazend. Ik kom hier niet meer. Dat is zeker. 😉

Cocktails were bad, flammkuchen was perfect, staff was friendly. A bit crowded and loud because of the time we went so couldn’t stay more than an hour.

De locatie is erg mooi! Echter is de service allemaal wat minder. Veel onervaren personeel. Een iemand uit ons gezelschap wilde glutenvrij gebak. Stond wel op de kaart maar was niet aanwezig. En verder ook erg hoge prijzen. 3,50 voor een colaatje…

Quite a big cafe on the beach. Very crowded on sunny days. The service can be better. The food is okay, they always seem to forget either the cutlery or the napkins :D but overall good experience as we always find a place

2x een Brabants worstenbroodjes besteld...........koud en teruggestuurd, 2e maal weer lauw.....wat een verschrikking dat ze in Brabant😱 niet eens een Brabants worstenbroodjes warm kunnen maken, erg slecht......om nog maar te zwijgen over de nacho deluxe die ze niet kunnen leveren omdat de gehakt op is en het te lang duurt voor de chefkok om t te bereiden......zie t worstenbroodje😱......zeer slecht restaurant, niet gaan eten....verschrikkelijke chefkok.....beter bij McDonald's in de keuken gaan staan dan krijgt hij een seintje wanneer t klaar en gaar is 👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾 3x duimpje omlaag, goed gedaan Madame Zita's.....weer een klant minder

Eerst cola zero gehad ipv cola, daarna caprisun vergeten. Eten zag er niet appetijtelijk uit. Patat was niet warm, vreemde groente en niet smakelijk, vis was te gekruid, snitzel leek wel gefrituurd en was niet lekker, evenals de saus en de boerenpannekoek smaakte niet naar pannenkoek en de groente er bovenop was al helemaal niet lekker. Leek niet vers en was veel te ver doorgebakken. Personeel was wel heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Locatie is wel leuk.

Heerlijk gegeten met een grote groep. Eten kwam jammer genoeg niet tegelijkertijd waardoor de een al moest beginnen aan zijn pizza omdat deze anders koud was wanneer de laatste burger kwam. Maar heerlijk gegeten, wel een aanrader!

Vandaag geluncht bij madame Zita pannenkoeken gegeten het was naar onze wens pannenkoeken waren lekker warm en snel gereserveerd en mooie sfeer komen zeker terug een aanrader voor iedereen aardig personeel

Positief is dat het een mooie zaak is, heerlijk terras en ideale locatie aan het meer. Daar staat tegenover dat het eten tegenviel. De burger die ik heb gekozen was bijzonder vlak van smaak. Vrienden die de schnitzel hadden gekozen klaagden dat ze vet waren. De bediening was erg jong. Je kan het ze daarom niet persoonlijk aanrekenen, maar je merkt dat ze sturing missen van ervaren vakmensen waar ze hun niveau (en tempo!) aan kunnen optrekken.

We hebben hier vandaag een hapje gegeten. Prachtig restaurant,ziet er top uit. De bediening was erg vriendelijk en vlot. Het eten was echt een teleurstelling. De snitzel was echt vies,die was ontzettend droog en bijna niet weg te kouwen. Mijn zusje had de loaded fries, een bakje friet met een paar kleine dingen erop,de saus kon je zoeken het was erg droog en smakeloos. De friet zelf zit zowieso weinig smaak aan. Het is er niet goedkoop, dan hoop je wel op n stukje kwaliteit. Tip, een kinderbordje kost dacht ik 9,50 friet met frikandel het was een plastic bak die een volwassenen nog niet op zou kunnen, ook met de kids pannenkoek, misschien de porties tot kinderporties maken en de prijs hiervan ook 😉. Ik ben helaas met flinke buikpijn van de snitzel naar huis gegaan en wij zullen niet snel terugkomen om te eten. De locatie en de sfeer ligt het zeker niet aan.

The place is very nice, newly renovated and with a great design. We had lunch here during my company outing. Everything was placed and ready to be eaten. The service is extremely slow, it will 40 minutes (after everyone one had eaten) to take drink orders in people. Also, for the dessert / ice cream area, there’s nobody there usually so you must search and go into the kitchen to ask for the service. The ice creams where good but they don’t have ice cream cones only scoops.

Prachtige locatie, vriendelijke bediening, veel te duur klein broodje in plastic mandje, niet eens op een bord, matige kwaliteit eten, je kunt alleen pinnen, wij komen niet terug en kunnen het niet aanraden

Het loopt nog niet goed in de keuken. Er ging heel veel mis. Borrel gerechten die vergeten waren, hoofdgerechten die wel naar de keuken waren ingezet maar niet kwamen. Uren gewacht op eten. Personeel vond het wel heel vervelend en ons is nog extra drank ronde aangeboden. Het eten was ok echter fish &chips-gerecht was de vis veel te lang gebakken. Ik hou mijn hart vast voor als het echt mooi weer wordt en drukker is. Uiteindelijk reken je toch behoorlijk bedrag af met een teleurgesteld gevoel. Wij slaan een volgend bezoek voorlopig even over.

Kleine porties, maaltijd salade was ontzettend klein en werd aangevuld met twee halve sneetjes brood en wat croutons. Geen citroentjes voor bij de Desperado. Slecht personeel. Hebben spijt dat we hier voor Moederdag heen zijn gegaan.

Leuke plek om met kinderen naar toe te gaan, zeker met mooi weer. Het personeel is supervriendelijk. Het eten is niet heel speciaal, maar wel lekker.

Prima loaded fries gegeten; grote portie. Snel gebracht aan tafel. De kinderpannenkoek is wel errrrrg groot; een kleuter krijgt ‘m niet op. Grote zaak, veel ruimte binnen en buiten.

Na de Breakout Run hier genoten van een welverdiende lunch. Personeel is enthousiast en eten en drinken werd snel geserveerd.

Top locatie, eten is ver onder de maat

Mooie gezellige locatie, vriendelijk personeel. Kwaliteit van het eten is echter ronduit slecht en wordt geserveerd in een raar plastic mandje. Voor de prijzen die ze hier vragen, verwacht je toch wel wat meer. Prijs-kwaliteit volledig uit verhouding.

We werden heel leuk ontvangen. Goede bediening, en lekker gegeten. Zeker een aanrader, ook een mooie omgeving!
