Mamma Mia in Wijk 01 Vianen

Went for dinner with my family. My youngest and oldest are quite picky about food, but they had a delicious meal. And everyone else enjoyed it. The gentleman who helped us was also very nice. The atmosphere was great. I highly recommend it.

Very cozy restaurant and excellent and varied menu

The vegetarian lasagna wasn't very spicy and lacked the cheese, which is an essential part of lasagna. The flavor was a bit bland, lacking the Italian herbs. There was also a piece of bread missing to mop up the sauce. Two bites later, it was gone. The Quattro Stagioni pizza was hastily assembled, undercooked, and had too many cheap, unsuitable cubes of ham. Cheap salami, no herbs, and no cheese as a topping. The mushrooms weren't fresh. In short, not good and not Italian-style. Soggy and with sagging ends. But they were charging €24. So wrong. Overpriced, and the quality was poor. We don't often write reviews like this. We do try to be critical. We've been here before, and our memories were much better then, as was the quality.

Nice Italian restaurant, lovely terrace!

Ordered a pizza which was delicious. They know how to do a fungi without letting it get soggy. Delicious crust, good cheese.

The pizza was ridiculously oversalted and extremely dry, barely edible. Extremely overpriced at €10 per 0.5L beer. Service was very polite. The ambiance was a bit too dark, but fine.

We had a truly fantastic meal here! We all thoroughly enjoyed it! Compliments! 😊

Well, simply exceptional cuisine and excellent wine that's still affordable. The staff is also friendly; it's a great place to relax. The price-quality ratio is good. It is, however, on the higher end.

Slecht eten totaal geen smaakbeleving. En de prijzen liegen er niet om. Spaghetti met een klein beetje saus uit een pot. Pizza met en paar plakje salami erop voor zeer veel geld. Ravaoli steenkoud en over het dessert maar te zwijgen. Eens maar nooit meer. Bah🤢

Zeker geen authentiek Italiaans restaurant. Na het aangeven van ons ongenoegen gaat het personeel in de verdediging in plaats van de opmerkingen van de klant ter harte te nemen. Geen aanrader, brood en deeg zijn niet zoals je zou verwachten.

Really a nice and tasty restaurant to eat with family or friends, it is a very nice place especially the terrace next to the water, the food was very tasty my 1st time and I am already obsessed, really recommended! with nice weather even better. Go now❤️

Delicious! Normally I meet at Van der Valk if I want to meet someone halfway through the Netherlands. Drive 600 m to Mama Mia Vianen for lunch or dinner, much better and especially much more fun. When the weather is nice, fantastic quiet terrace by the water. Also a good business alternative. Parking at AH or Jumbo and 1 minute walk. Very friendly staff and delicious food (also gluten-free pizza and pasta)!

The location is very nice. The quality of the food could be much better. It was tasteless and the sauce for the pasta too watery. (salmon and mushrooms) The pizzas were unfortunately not tasty. The ratio between the quality of the dishes and the price were too far apart. The mint tea was much too expensive. Hot water and a sprig of green for almost 6 euros. Staff was friendly.

A beautiful terrace on the water. The service is very friendly. Delicious sandwiches for lunch. And of course a dessert for dessert!

Great food, great service and the most beautiful terrace in Vianen

The salmon pasta I ordered was not tasty. Lots of penne but little salmon. The sauce was very watery and had little flavor. For a pasta of €23.95 I expected a lot more. The sandwiches beforehand were also very hard, but maybe that's normal. Anyway, I didn't like it that much.

Enjoyed the Valentine's menu today. The food was delicious, the entire restaurant had a Valentine's Day atmosphere. And the service is great. It's been a while since we were here but it's a great restaurant. I'll be back soon.

Good Italian restaurant, authentic cuisine where food is cooked with high-quality ingredients. Service is attentive and friendly. Good quality and service may cost a bit, but it is quite pricey. That said, you get what you pay for: good food in a nice atmosphere. Definitely recommended!

Before dinner I was surprised with a gluten-free sandwich. Then we chose our dishes. I chose the Antipasto plate, the Gamberetto pasta and for dessert a tasting of Creme Brulee, Cannoli and white chocolate mousse. It was all super tasty and a lot of thought was given to gluten-free food!

A very nice spot with a beautiful view on the water, cozy! It's nice that there is a lot of choice and also gluten-free options. That's important to me! The staff was very friendly and pleasant, but we found the food a little less. As if some flavor was missing, it tasted good but wasn't great, which you expect from restaurants. We also thought it was very expensive for what you got. The presentation was nice and smelled nice, but the taste wasn't great. Personally, the music could have been turned off, which was a bit unsettling. If the flavors were a bit more refined, we would happily come back!

Gezellig en heerlijk avondje gegeten met ons gezin. Het eten was lekker, bediening super vriendelijk en uitstekende service. Wij komen zeker weer eens langs voor de gezelligheid en het lekkere eten.

They serviced us a different pizza than what we ordered, and never asked if everything is okey. We ended up eating whatever they served, despite the pizza was too salty, to catch our transportation, and when I explained to them at the end, they were smiling without any apology. Never eating there again!

We always enjoy coming here and the food is always delicious. Only the last time I ordered a gluten-free pizza, I received a long-life pizza base from Schär! You can buy these at any supermarket. Previously she made homemade gluten-free pizza bases, so that's what I expected. In addition, this is a small base, so you also get much less pizza. I really don't think this is acceptable for a good Italian restaurant. Then don't offer gluten-free pizzas. Hopefully the gluten-free homemade pizzas will return soon.

Nice meal. Very friendly and correct service. Quality dishes. Shrimp croquettes with mayo… shame about the croquettes. Not much else to note. We will come back when the opportunity arises.

We had dinner and ordered 2 glasses of beer, each €5. they came served in really tiny 250ml glasses. they were filled only half, the rest was foam. I think only 150 to 175ml was actual beer. when mentioning this to the waiter he held 2 of his fat fingers to the glass and said, see 2 fingers of foam, so that's allright. and did not take the complaint serious. We left the already really expensive restaurant with a bad aftertase. will not go there again.

Excellent tent in itself. Food was ok. The downside was that everything took a long time. We had to ask for a desert menu ourselves, we had made a choice but ultimately decided to pay because it took too long again.

Bad wine, terrible background music, atmosphereless space and the food was tasteless and certainly not Italian.

De locatie is heerlijk. Mooi terras, vriendelijke bediening. Eten ok, maar geen geweldige kwaliteit. Pizza €21,50 te duur voor geboden kwaliteit. Wijn ok. Appeltaart bij de koffie toe: een zeer smal stukje, 2 happen en weg. Al met al aardig, vooral vanwege het terras en bediening. Voor het eten hoef je niet te gaan: beetje nietszeggend, vlak, geen typisch Italiaanse smaken. Prijs-kwaliteit verhouding niet in balans.

Teleurstellende ervaring, kleine dure broodjes. Bij het per ongeluk omsloten van mijn volle glas komt de eigenaar wel de tafel schoonmaken maar biedt niet een nieuw drankje aan. Als mijn man een nieuw drankje gaat halen staat het later extra op de factuur. Bij het benoemen hiervan zegt meneer ' het was de schuld van uw vrouw en dus niet van ons, bij een frisdrankje was t anders geweest ! ' te genant... Onvriendelijk, vermoeidheid personeel...afrader !

We went to Mamma Mia for dinner after a long absence and we were surprised how good it was. After a delicious starter of shrimps and a delicious steak as a main course and some delicious dessert, we could end a wonderful evening. Maikel can give his people in the kitchen a big compliment, they deserved it.

Had dinner with my son Filetto yesterday. Tips of beef with mushrooms, etc. It was very disappointing. Tasteless and very bland. Was such a disappointment! I reported it when clearing the table. Nothing was done with it.

We had a delicious meal there and when we ordered a taxi for the way home, the owner was kind enough to drop us off at home with his bus... Er... customer friendly. Ben ze in Italië nog niet zo tegengekomen. De salades waren inderdaad veel sla. Terras is erg prettig, de aparte ruimte voor een groep zoals de onze is ook top. Personeel uitermate vriendelijk!!

Best ok. Terras is super qua locatie. De prijzen vind ik hoog dus eten doe ik hier niet.
