Had a delicious meal for a good price

My daughter and her in-laws had a wonderful meal at De Mandarin Chinese restaurant. The dishes were well-prepared, and we received excellent explanations about them, which made it even more enjoyable. Everything was delicious, with great flavors and beautiful presentation. The staff is friendly, courteous, child-friendly, and provides excellent service. The drinks were also delicious and well-presented. In short: good food, a pleasant atmosphere, and top-notch service. A huge thank you to the entire De Mandarin team!

We were in Oudenbosch for a short vacation and spent New Year's Eve at Mandarin. We had a delicious meal. The babi pangang was so tender, the best I've ever had. The service was also very friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed it!

I'm so disappointed with the average quality of Chinese food in the Netherlands. It's not the same as back then. Tasteless sauces and ever-shrinking portions. But not in Oudenbosch. I'm truly surprised by this food. It's not haute cuisine, of course, but it does have the distinct flavor of Chinese food I remember. Go there and be surprised. The prices are also very reasonable. I'm going to pick up some takeout tonight!

The food was very good. It's just a shame the atmosphere isn't as welcoming despite the completely renovated restaurant. We were the only ones there, and the room was too big. It's more of a Chinese takeout place, which was very popular.

We had a wonderful meal here with the kids. The hostess is very friendly and the atmosphere is cozy. We both had a Tipan dish, which was absolutely delicious.

5 stars for the food. The food was takeout, so I don't know about the service and atmosphere. Hence the 3 stars for neutral. The food was hot, tasty, and not dry (except for some meat, which was black and very dry, a bit like stew). The bacon and cha sieuw were well-seasoned and flavorful. The noodles were a bit bland, but the sambal was surprisingly good. Not as extremely salty as the average Chinese takeout. Full containers for a reasonable price. Next time, I'll try the spring rolls if they have them.

Just got food but it was disappointing, they also forgot to include noodles, when I called about it they said they didn't do delivery, really bad!!

We go from Roosendaal, pick up Chinese food there, that says enough, how good the food is.

I thought I knew all Chinese restaurants, and the food was almost the same everywhere. So I was very surprised that we had such good food here. There were four of us and we ordered the surprise menu. We were served five plates of delicious food, including bami and nasi. We stuffed ourselves with it because we felt it was a shame to send anything back. I also received chopsticks to eat with; I've never received such beautiful ones at any other Chinese restaurant.

Have had food here a few times. Always excellent quality. This time I had the Chinese bami, highly recommended. Takes a little longer to be ready but is definitely worth the wait.

Almost an old-fashioned Chinese (not in terms of decor but in terms of food), with sizzling tipan on the table. Super friendly and fast service, delicious food (as always too much) and not expensive. Includes a view of the basilica. What does a man want more? We will most certainly come back.

. Now 2024 3 years later February Ordered 2 spring rolls and 1 wonton soup. The spring rolls are full of egg, no chicken, not even a small piece. The wonton soup did not taste like wonton soup at all, there was no meat in it but something that passed for meat. What is going on !!!?? No more Chinese chef in the kitchen?? Not recommended. Used to be a good restaurant. Pity

Food was delicious, service fast, friendly staff. The only area for improvement is that staff is not in sight of your phone. Don't get busy, you want to do something. I personally don't find it disturbing, but please let me know.

This will make you happy.😀 I opted for a tipan with chicken, tenderloin and vegetables. Served with noodles. With a lady blanch for dessert. Nice restaurant in the center of Oudenbosch, and very nice people in the service. Come here regularly and enjoy. 👍

Your typical Chinese. Lots of it and delicious. They have been making a lot of progress lately. Definitely get prawn crackers again and an egg + slice of ham on the noodles. Babi pangan could be a bit crispier, but otherwise tastes great. Furthermore, top staff and a nice atmospheric appearance.

Picked up food today. I still get a call back because I requested noodles without ham, she wanted to check. When you pick it up, they casually say that it contains pieces of ham and if this is bad, it should be said by someone wearing a headscarf. No time to wait for new ones, so I ate chicken tipan without noodles. I'll get it somewhere else next time.

By other Chinese I. The familiar Chinese way, the food has also gone very bad to Benenden, they will not see me again. I have been a customer for more than 30 years and thought it used to be a good place. Now the stars given are actually still too high.

Het is helaas niet meer wat het geweest is. Babi Pangang smaakte prima, maar de kip kerrie was veel te dik en smaakte erg flauw. Bij de runderhaas met zwarte bonensaus zat zelfs een stukje plastic in🙈 De porties zijn wel groot. Maar €3,20 voor een stuk kroepoek is wel erg overdreven...

Heerlijk gegeten hier, het eten smaakte echt heel goed. Aardig personeel, en snelle bediening. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.

afgelopen zaterdag alweer voor het 6e jaar op rij tijdens het bierfestival bij Manderin wezen eten, met zo'n 12-16 man aan 1 tafel. we moeten concluderen dat het minder van kwaliteit, minder gezelligheid binnen en duurder in prijs was. we hadden maanden geleden gereserveerd en dat was "verstandig om te doen", alleen waar het de laatste jaren drukker was op deze dag, was er nu niemand... we weten niet wat er verandert is (andere eigenaar? andere kok?). kan natuurlijk maar als vervolgens het eten flink duurder is (menu a € 27.-, nasi/bami/mihoen en andere gerechten niet mee gerekend ! want die stonden apart op de bon), de drank ook duurder (€ 3.- voor een klein biertje) dan overwegen wij toch met deze traditie te stoppen. de kwaliteit van het eten was ook minder hoorde ik van anderen. wij komen er graag die ene keer per jaar vanuit het Westland eten, want het is een soort gezelligetraditie maar nu spelen andere toko's ook mee.

Wij wonen sinds kort in Oudenbosch en hebben een aantal weken geleden voor het eerst bij Mandarin in het restaurant gegeten. Mijn had de Tipan besteld en ik had een family gerecht met kip en garnalen. We vonden het eten echt heerlijk smaken. Mn man en ik houden allebei van pittig eten en dit eten was echt lekker, helemaal niet flauw. Een aantal weken later hebben we nasi goreng afgehaald met gebakken kip specialiteit en garnalen specialiteit. Beiden gerechten zijn zeer goed bevallen, voor herhaling vatbaar. Mijn kinderen en ik zijn dol op de nasi goreng, heerlijk zeg. We zijn ook zeer tevreden over de service, aardige en behulpzame bediening. Ik ben een tevreden klant. Ook een pluim over de website, online bestellen, heel klant vriendelijk en makkelijk een order te plaatsen.

Lekker, online besteld, hoef niet te wachten. En het was warm eten !

Vanavond een chinees indische rijsttafel besteld, met chinese bami en nasi. Prijs in de gedownloaden folder € 42 euro afgerekend € 53,10 🤷. Kippesoep ipv tomaat. Geen gebakken banaan maar gamba's. Geen daging smoor erbij. Vond het geheel erg tegenvallen en vooral vet. Het bekende papier was doorweekt. De chinese mihoen was heerlijk, de rest minder....helaas.

Zeer goed eten en smaakt voor ons naar meer. Komen daar al vele jaren, altijd vriendelijk personeel en zeer behulpzaam.

Haal er met regelmaat eten vriendelijk personeel en lekker eten met een uitgebreide keuze eten is altijd lekker warm en goed ingepakt mocht je zin hebben in Chinees is dit een aanrader

Het eten was koud en de gebakken banaan was ook niet lekker. Veel vet aan het vlees.

Standaard dorpschinees. Veel keuze. Eten was mij iets te flauw qua smaak en te vet/zoet. Nasi ramas viel tegen. Als je houdt van veel en niet te uitgesproken van smaak dan is het een goede keuze. Aan mij wat minder besteed.

Lekkere nasi en sate. Friet is beste van Oudenbosch!

Vriendelijk personeel, ondanks de drukte was het eten snel klaar. Grote hoeveelheden en het vlees was botergaar. Eigenlijk niets op aan te merken. Ook qua prijs is dit top.

Een traditioneel Chinees-Indisch restaurant, de afhaalmaaltijd voor 2 personen is voldoende voor minimaal twee dagen.

Prima eten altijd goed en je wordt er snel en vriendelijk geholpen zeker een aanrader. 👍

Ik kom er al jaren, ruime keuze aan gerechten en erg vriendelijk personeel. Niks op aan te merken!
