The food is really delicious, but unfortunately the hospitality leaves much to be desired. Everything has to be done quickly, quickly, and there is barely time to enjoy your meal because you constantly get the feeling that you have to pay quickly to make room for the next guests. This is now the umpteenth time I have had this experience, and it really cannot continue like this. I hope something can be done about it, because the food makes up for a lot, but unfortunately the atmosphere is not pleasant due to the way guests are treated.

I can confidently say that the quality of Iranian food I experienced here is unmatched, even compared to what I’ve had in Iran itself. I can also say with certainty that I’ve never tasted Iranian cuisine this delicious anywhere in Europe before. Additionally, the service and customer care were incredibly kind and warm, making me feel as if I were at home.

The food is incredibly tasty. However, there are also a number of negatives: there are a lot of tables crammed into the space, so that you are almost literally sitting on your neighbor's lap. And they also want you to leave very quickly, so that you can make room for the next customer (for example, the main course is already served while you are still working on the starter and when you are done, you are expected to pay immediately). The inferior service and atmosphere are compensated by the delicious food, but there was no real authentic feeling of Persian hospitality.

Main course was tasty, good portion, I had lamb chop, friends ordered chicken and lamb shank. Service was nice. Only 1 minus point we had dessert from the chef well it came on one board such a very small cake really 1 snack with a very small amount of whipped cream n 1 small raspberry for about 9 euros that was really ridiculous So don't order dessert from chef!

The food is fantastic and is definitely recommended! Both the traditional dishes and the grill dishes taste very good. The service could only be a little better, sometimes the meals do not arrive at the same time. I suspect this is because they are quite busy at peak times such as Friday evenings and the staffing level probably cannot cope. Nevertheless, I like coming here and I am very happy that I can eat such fantastic Persian food here. Recommended!

Menuto restaurant was one of the best in Holland. So far, my wife and I had ordered the food for our wedding day from Menuto. I don't know if the management or the chef has changed, but last night we had the worst food experience at Menuto restaurant. I would like to write in full detail in the hope that it will be dealt with and the previous quality will return. Our food order for appetizer: Mirza Ghasemi, eggplant stall and a bowl of noodles. Unfortunately, the water around the bowl was separated from the content of the ash itself. This happens when the soup has already been prepared and heated once. There is no problem with it being heated and not being fresh. The main problem was that it was not eaten when it was heated and the water was completely separated. It was cold and the onion was bought from outside and not a fried onion from the restaurant. For the main dish, we ordered Waziri and Sultani Unfortunately, you painted the grilled chicken and the amount of this color was so much that when you cut a chicken in half, the middle of the chicken was orange. And this orange color was not from saffron. The same color was used at the bottom of the pot. It would have been better if you prioritized quality, not the beauty that yellow or orange color gives to food. The leaf kebab was hard, rubbery, unfortunately I don't have a better word for it The rice was very oily. The only positive thing that still existed in Menuto was the respectful and friendly staff. I hope this comment will not be read in a negative way and I hope Menuto returns to the same old quality and even better. The two of us came in on a Saturday evening without a reservation. The restaurant was completely full, but they still managed to find a seat for us. The service was fast and attentive, and the food was fantastic as always! I've been coming here for years, and Manoto serves without a doubt the best kabab in the Netherlands. The meat is tender and flavorful, and the portions are just right. As far as I'm concerned, the quality has been unparalleled for years. I don't understand why some fellow Iranians post negative reviews. Let's show a little more appreciation for what has been built here: a restaurant that consistently serves delicious Iranian food and offers a feeling of home in the heart of Amsterdam. Unfortunately, after reading the bad reviews, we also decided to eat at Manoto. This was very disappointing. Service is super bad, me and my husband got a table just in front of the toilet/entrance where it was super busy with people and staff walking back and forth. When we asked if we could get another table, we were told that it would be possible, but nothing happened. The restaurant is overcrowded, you are cramped and there are tables for which there is actually no room. Moreover, we did not like the chelo kabab, the meat was far too oily and had little taste. If you want good Iranian food, I would recommend De redactie, where we normally always eat.

First I want to thank the ladies that worked there for accommodating us although they were fully booked and we didn't have a reservation, it was the day after Christmas, the 26th. They were like bumblebees with a smile on their face! Bravo! The food was flawless and delicious! Everything we ordered well made and fabulous. The atmosphere was lively and the vibe was modern. I had a very bad experience. Even though I had already read negative reviews, I still made the mistake of booking here. Unfortunately, all the bad reviews turned out to be completely justified. I made a reservation for 6 people and arrived right on time. Yet we were told to wait at least 30 minutes. It was raining heavily and we had to wait outside, while we had a 3-year-old boy with us. If you cannot handle the crowds, it would be better to remove the online reservation option from the website. Although it seems that the feedback from your customers does not interest you at all. However, the rice served with the kababs had a smoky taste and wasn’t authentic Iranian rice. Additionally, the saffron didn’t seem genuine, appearing to be a mix of low-quality saffron and food coloring. Service and Experience: The restaurant was extremely busy, which impacted the service. For example, the olives we ordered were forgotten, and the glass provided for our cola was not properly washed, which we noticed after the drink had been poured. When we requested a replacement, the staff poured the cola into a new glass but did not provide fresh cola, which was disappointing. Additionally, the tables were placed too close to one another, which affected the dining experience. Another customer seated very close to us brought a dog into the restaurant. While I understand some establishments are pet-friendly, this policy may need to be reconsidered, especially on busy days, as it could inconvenience other diners. Conclusion: While the food had some high points, there is room for improvement in both food quality and overall service. Addressing these issues could greatly enhance the dining experience.

Avoid this restaurant! Service is bad. Staff wants you to order and leave ASAP so they can seat more customers. I hadn't taken off my coat yet and already had to make a choice. After dessert you get 5 minutes to leave. The restaurant is packed and people are waiting in front of the reception. I was here years ago when the atmosphere and food were much better. Also avoid the Zereshkpolo! Everything but authentic. We won't be coming back here again.

I had a reservation for 2 people at 21:00h. When we entered, the whole place was extremely crowded. There were also several people in front of us with reservations, that couldn't be seated. Meanwhile, the only reaction from the waiters/owners was "you wait, wait". Turns out there was a huge group that overstayed their reservation and there was no intention of people leaving; they even ordered more for a birthday celebration. After 45 min, noticing there is no sign of being able to be seated, we left...

I booked a table for the first time a month ago. There is a reservation for one hour. table We were saying If they had told us in advance, I would not have reserved a table. Bad service. Had to wait 30 minutes long while we had a reservation and ended up leaving cause the tables still were full. If they know people have reservations at a certain time they need to have an empty table by then. I won’t go there anymore.

Wow, what a letdown I had a reservation but ended up waiting over an hour. It was super frustrating to watch people who came in after me get seated first. The staff didn’t really seem to care, either. I get that places can get busy, but this was just ridiculous. Definitely not coming back, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone! YOU GUYS SUCK BIG TIME.

We reserved a table for 10 people, it took 20 minutes to bring our food and during the time waitresses came to table to clear the plates although we were not finished! They made us to finish our food in rush and leave the restaurant. I ordered Zereshk polo but they already poured the sauce on rice and it was too much and super oily. I understood that Waitresses were nice and it was the owners policy to rush guests so that they can let new guests in! It was rude and horrible! Not recommended!

This restaurant dumps their waste near us. We have freely accessible containers, but they just throw their waste next to them, with their mail open and exposed (insurance policy and invoices, opened). Very annoying and unnecessary.

I had a very disappointing experience when I called to reserve a table at this restaurant. The staff member who answered the phone was incredibly rude and dismissive. Instead of accommodating my request, they told me that reservations don't guarantee the ability to choose where to sit and that they would seat me wherever they wanted. This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable, and it left a bad impression. I won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone expecting basic courtesy and customer service.
