Nothing fancy, but that is a great description for a pizza place. Everything works, lots of choices. Perhaps a bit loud, service might be a little distracted, no biggie. Solid food.

On Nov 14th 2025, I ordered 1 Lasagna and 1 Pizza via the THUISBEZORGD app for delivery - order no. X46XCX, total of 31 EUR. Only after having paid with my credit card, it was said there was no delivery service for the restaurant and I would have to pick up the order in person. I immediately called the restaurant Tutta La Vita on and asked to cancel it. One person attended, passed the phone to another person, that one said they were going to cancel it and I would have my refund within 3 days. +3 weeks passed and no refund has been requested/processed. The app (THUISBEZORGD.nl) was updated with 'Order Collected” but there was NO collection, NO delivery and NO refund yet. A sequence of events which just highlight a very bad service and bad behaviour. I will not order from Margherita Tutta La Vita again and recommend you to do the same.

Tried two different pizzas and were delicious!

We had a wonderful meal. We don't particularly enjoy the atmosphere, but the food was fantastic. We had a starter (carpaccio) and pasta (tagliatelle with cream), and it was absolutely delicious. The service was also excellent. It was a shame no one spoke Dutch.

The best pizza in the Amsterdam area I had so far. In summer they have a nice terrace as well and service is friendly and quick.

We came as a walk in on Friday evening with 3 people and 2 dogs. Staff was awesomely accommodating, we were able to sit outside with the heater on while the restaurant was packed. Amazing delicious food and great service, would recommend!!

What a misery was the experience (only) this time, owing to the total lack of empathy of the young girl serving at the tables! We had not reserved, so we could not get a table. All fine until here. While my family was reflecting on what to order to take away in the absence of a table, my husband (62) asked if he could use the toilet. “No, it is only for clients! Orders of my superiors.” I was lucky that I (60) didn’t even think of asking for permission. After having been there dozens of times before, I could never imagine that a couple of regular senior clients would ever be denied use of the toilet while ordering take away. Shameful! I will never be back.

A really good pizzeria. Incredibly tasty, varied, and generously topped pizzas. The pastas are also worth it. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. I'm bummed I don't live nearby anymore, because the Italian food here is so delicious. Hats off.

Pizza was bigger and tastier before. Now it got smaller and more expensive. Now when you order water you get it in their custom bottle which suggests me it’s just tap water, but at a premium. While legally tap water should be free. I have no proof it’s tap water but neither anything suggests the opposite. Friendly people, just please be more aware of the customers.

This is a very cozy restaurant, with a simple, pleasant atmosphere. It can get busy at times, so booking is recommended for groups. And the food is truly delicious and well-made.

Fast service, but because they want to serve more people, they pressure diners to leave the tables in less than 45 minutes.

Worst place ever. Ordered a pizza for take away. Ask for truffle sauce on the side and ham on my pizza. When I came to get the pizza. I asked again is it on it. The waitress yes. That it’s not on my pizza is one thing but that you straight lie in my face is disgusting paid 43 euros for 2 pizza to get exactly nothing

We ordered take away (one small and one normal and one tiramisu). Both two pizzas and tiramisu were delicious. Normal size is a bit big. So you can try small one as well.

There was a lot of tomato on the pizza which made it really mushy. The taste was really good but it wasn't cut either which was annoying.

Excellent Neapolitan pizza. Premium ingredients. I tried the pizza with buffalo burrata, arugula, and Parma ham (not prosciutto). It's a style of pork shoulder from Argentina, cured like raw ham. Everything was exquisite. The waiters were very friendly. Just keep in mind that the kitchen closes early; it was Saturday, and it closed at 10 p.m. Highly recommended!

The food was absolutely delicious! We came here on Sunday evening without a reservation with our two children. We were a bit early for dinner by Italian standards, but right on time for us Dutchies. Luckily, there was still a table available, though we were really lucky with that. The staff spoke mainly Italian and English, with a few Dutch words here and there. The pizzas were ready remarkably quickly. The "small" version was just the right size for our three-year-old daughter. Everything tasted delicious, fresh, and truly authentic Italian. Since we were with two children and still had a drive back to the east of the country ahead of us, we opted for a quick bite, but that didn't detract from the quality. The staff was friendly, the atmosphere relaxed, and the pizzas were among the best we've had in a long time. All in all, a place we thoroughly enjoyed eating and would definitely recommend.

I always end up ordering the same thing here: Pizza Vulcano or Ravioli al Tartufo because they’re just really good! The food is consistently delicious and the service is great. The ambience could be a bit cozier, but that’s okay. It's always a satisfying visit.

Our waiters, Angelo and Martina, where so good. I was here for my birthday and even so the boss wasn't there the restaurant worked like a charm. The pizza was awesome. The wine was great. Afterwards the scropinos were friggin great. If you like pizza this is one of the places to go when you live in or around Amsterdam. Once again, margarita tutta la vita, thanks! <3

Food quality has dropped significantly over the years. Getting a pizza with uncooked mushrooms, burnt or ingredients that will give you a stomach ache has become more frequent. To add to this,service is unecessarily rude. I wouldn't recommend this place.

It's a shame the girl is so rude because the food was fine. They also didn't warn us that gluten-free pizza would be charged extra... The water was a rip-off; they didn't give us tap water.

Normally, the pizza is delicious. This Wednesday, I picked up a pizza, and every single one was so soft. So soft that I couldn't pick it up. It felt like the pizza wasn't cooked through yet. Such a shame, this experience.

A thin layer of tomato sauce made it a bright, tangy base, while creamy mozzarella melts into golden pockets of richness. freshly basil and a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil finish it off, making each bite simple, balanced, and deeply satisfying. It’s the kind of pizza that reminds you why classics endure. we forgot to ask for an English menu… not sure if they had any. 😂 so used the TripGenie ai. It was surprisingly accurate at translating and describing all the items. 👍

Absolutely recommended, if you enjoy watching everyone else eat while your pizza embarks on a spiritual journey through the kitchen's chaos system. Eventually, it did arrive, probably straight from the microwave. Taste-wise, a real hit… for someone who’s never had pizza before. I’ll gladly come back, but only if I have too much time and not enough appetite.

Found this place while looking for a pizzeria. close to AFAS live in Amsterdam. We didn't have a lot of time and the restaurant was busy. But right away a table outside was arranged and we received the order within 5-6 minutes. Good quality pizza and good wine. Very fast, polite and friendly service. They definitely know what they are doing! Hope they found my sunglasses... Black Ray-Ban..

Hidden gem behind a school. I can imagine missing it despite commuting from the subway station daily. Friendly staff and reasonable priced pizza. The gelato is also nice. The outside seating is great!

If carbs are a love language, then Margarita Tutta La Vita is writing us poetry. We’ve been coming here religiously for the spicy pizza—because nothing says romance like mouth-numbing chili and cheese-induced euphoria. The spicy pizza? It’s not just food. It’s a dare. A delicious, cheesy, fiery dare that says “are you brave enough?” And every time, we say yes—and then spend ten minutes sweating, crying, and declaring it the best decision we’ve ever made. Again. The crust is that perfect balance between crunchy and chewy, the sauce is clearly made with love (and maybe some dark magic), and the spicy toppings have a kick that could revive a Roman gladiator. Bonus points for not judging us when we order it again two days later. Service is always warm, like a friendly Italian hug—with a little extra chili oil on the side. Bottom line: if you’re not slightly crying while devouring your pizza, did you even go to Margarita Tutta La Vita? One slice and you'll be saying “Arrivederci” to all your other pizza places.

Awful service. I was waiting for some time when one of the waitresses told me that I shouldn't wait in that place and I should move away. She was unfriendly, and when one of the tables became free, she pointed at it with a displeased face. When I asked her if I could sit outside, she told me yes - I sat and was waiting for the menu for more than 15 minutes and finally I went away because nobody came to me. I will never come back because of such employees like this girl. Such employees like this girl (sorry I don't remember her name) shouldn't work in clients service. Please, pay attention to your employees education.

An excellent, truly Italian pizza restaurant. The pizzas are wonderful with thin crust, real mozzarella and a good selection of fillings. Prices are reasonable. The place gets full at popular times, so a table for reservation is highly recommended. There's ample room on the outdoor terrace weather permitting. Service was excellent and the pizzas arrived at a record time. Drink selection is good with excellent beers and wines

This was terrible, I have never seen this in my life: A waterpizza! The pizza was terrible it was to watery and the dough was to thin and nog tasteful. And if you want to drink then you need to wait a very long day because they can forget that. I do think this restaurant has potential to be better but they need to fix the pizza and the service! Truly one of the tastiest restaurants I have eaten at in a long time! The tagliatelle with porchini mushrooms and speck was delicious and the pizza and foccacia were just as delicious. The service was friendly and we didn't have to wait long. If it wasn't a two hour drive I would definitely come here more often :))

I have been eating here for years now. I just realized I never left a review. This place is the best! A true Italian pizzeria that places customers first. Their pizzas and pastas are authentic and delicious. You know a pizzeria is good when you see Italians eating there (I’m dutch btw) . We take everyone we know to this place and would recommend it to anyone looking for some delicioso food.

I have dine there few times and food was good but I ordered pasta bolognese take out and once I get home quality was totally different was uncooked pasta with little tomato sauce and no proper bolognese no mince beef and i didn't even eat it ,I guess their take out food not the same quality.

It’s like they picked up an Italian restaurant in Italy. Put it on a big truck and dropped it off in Diemen. It’s the most authentic and real Italian pizza/pasta I have ever tasted outside of Italy itself. Even the staff speak only Italian and a little bit of English. No native Dutch speakers in sight. Very very positive, prices are not to crazy. I am a big fan ❤️

Very tasty pizza. Distinguished tomato sauce in perfect quantity. Price is also very good. They have plenty of ice cream options and nice coffee too. Right beside Diemen Zuid Metro M53 Station, quite a fast trip from Amsterdam Centraal is surely worth the visit.

I don't understand how this place got such good reviews. We live nearby, first time we came to the restaurant - part of our order was forgotten to be cooked. Today we ordered home delivery and the paid order was simply ignored. The worst service I have ever encountered.
