Delicious cocktails and dancing until the early hours

Cozy bar, heard good music mix of soul, disco and jazz. Mojito ordered was very sour and bitter. Nice atmosphere for small groups.

Mavis is Modern trendy bar. Modern decor with comfortable seating. Ideal for a lazy drink. There were 5 draft beers on offer during my visit.

The cocktail workshop was great and very informal. The bartender Vincent had a lot of knowledge and was very pleasant and passionate. Highly recommended, especially for a small group.

Very dirty outside. Very dirty tables with Sand from all over the Day. Service did not clean the table. Only smalltalk menue card to eat. Never again.

Had a blast here! The cocktails were boozy and not the watered down swill you find in so many other places. The karaoke basement was fun! It's a cozy place, equally nice just to hang out around the bar. I didn't eat anything so can't comment on that.

Beautfiul bar in the center of Rotterdam. We really liked the drinks and the bartender was very sweet.

We had a very nice evening here with our football team. Cocktail workshop and karaoke rented. We thought it was highly recommended!

We hosted a party for 40-50 people in the basement. The staff helped us set-up our DJ sets and think along with the right lighting. The upper part also seemed cozy. Would definitely come back here!

A friend and I went for the Stand Up Comedy show. It was 5 euros and for that price highly recommended, we had a really nice evening. And the bartender tried very hard!

On a Saturday evening we wanted to have a cocktail after having dinner somewhere nearby. Never been to Mavis before so we were curious. Upon receipt, someone from the staff indicated that it would take about 10 minutes if we ordered a cocktail. That was fine with us so we took a seat in the shop. When we went to order at the bar, we were told that we could not order cocktails at all now, because a cocktail workshop was taking place. We thought this was very strange, for a bar that advertises the cocktails on the menu? Then you should be able to order a cocktail on a Saturday evening. Unfortunately, we left again (without having anything to drink), looking for another nice cocktail bar. Too bad, missed opportunity for Mavis.

The customer service was amazing from the front desk, to the foreman to the mechanic. A can-do approach and solution-oriented. Despite the most frustrating experience of a flat tire on a run flat tire, 3 hours from home and unavailable tire lock within our car. In a time where customer service has become minimal if non-existent, it’s refreshing to see it still does exist at Mavis in Rotterdam.

Good spot for cocktails. I went to watch an open mic comedy show, it was in the basement. Although a bit stuffy and hot, the place is good for drinking with your group. They have some season special cocktails

Had a cocktail workshop (€30 pp) with 10 ladies for a bachelor party. We laughed a lot with Thomas and learned a lot from his "nerd" moments ;). Can recommend it to everyone and will definitely come back.

Wij waren bij een karaoke-avond. Personeel kwam vrijwel niet naar beneden om te vragen of we wat te drinken wilden. Een jongen aangesproken die daar werkte, en hij zou zo terugkomen om onze bestelling op te nemen. Die is nooit meer terug gekomen🤣

Leuke en gezellige cocktailbar waar het personeel graag uitleg geeft over alle drankjes.

Fijne bar en toplocatie om een event of verjaardag te vieren. Goede organisatie, lekkere cocktails en muziek

Gezellige sfeer, fantastische medewerkers en heerlijke cocktails! Veel verschillende evenementjes en ruimtes, erg leuk!

Fijne bar met genoeg keuze aan hapjes (ook vega), een mooie wijnkaart en ook cocktails. Daarnaast is er een karaoke ruimte in de kelder met een hele uitgebreide lijst aan nummers en een sneaky shortcut ri. het toilet. Vriendelijke en bekwaam personeel maken het plaatje goed af. Goed bereikbaar met OV met tram 8 voor de deur en trams 20, 23 25 en de metro D & E op 5min lopen. Auto kan uiteraard ook met genoeg garages in de buurt.

Vanavond na een heerlijk hapje eten bij de Meatclub nog een drankje gaan doen bij Mavis. Goed bezochte kroeg, die qua uitstraling vanaf buiten minder aantrekkingskracht heeft dan het wellicht verdient. Eenmaal binnen is de sfeer heel ontspannen. Als je het aan durft bestel een cocktail, zoek niet naar de cocktail kaart, die is er niet namelijk. Onze barman heeft een neusje voor, op basis van een paar doordachte vragen, voor jou speciaal een cocktail te fabriceren, geheel aangepast aan je smaak pallet. De eerste cocktail die ik kreeg, vond ik eigenlijk niet heel lekker (doordat ik niet heel duidelijk had aangegeven dat ik geraspte sinaasappel van de schil niet heel lekker vind). Onze barman gaf direct aan dat hij de cocktail ging ruiken en ik mocht iets anders bestellen. Ik ben best een cocktail liefhebber, en deze jongen is geen amateur. Cocktails worden met liefde en uiterste zorg gemaakt en smaken er ook naar. Conclusie, super gezellige tent, top cocktails, top personeel. Gemixt publiek. Ik ga zeker terug. Mavis 💯

Door Google gevonden, zaterdag einde middag langs voor een cocktail. Fantastisch, er is geen kaart, dus je geeft aan wat je lekker vindt en de barman maakt daar iets van. Bij ons 4* raak! We zagen dat er een cocktail workshop gegeven werd, dus gevraagd of we dat zondag ook mochten komen doen. Speciaal voor ons iets eerder open gegaan en wow, veel en goede info, lekkere drankjes proeven én zelf nog iets maken. 10/10 would recommend!

Was in Rotterdam for work and stumbled upon this amazing bar. Great atmosphere and yummy cocktails. Don’t forget the fantastic personal service. Honestly it’s a shame if you don’t go here while you’re in Rotterdam! This really was the highlight of my trip, and lots of good restaurants next to it for a great dinner!
