Spikizi Bar in Rotterdam Centrum

A cute little place where you can drink delicious cocktails and sit intimately at small tables. The service is so good that sometimes they take away your drink when there is still 1/3 left in it haha. The table by the door is a bit cramped and you may sit there in a draft, but the small tent still has its charm. You are never waiting to be helped, they are right at your table, and the menu is not too big so it's easy to choose, very nice!

The fact that some of the - otherwise attentive and friendly - staff wear a football shirt and that the music is too loud to have a conversation is somewhat compensated by the nice - but slightly overpriced - cocktails. Although I miss classics on the menu. But all of the above is probably my fault... the audience is too young or I'm too old for this place.

Came to this bar for my bf birthday but unfortunately not the best service. We waited super long to order something. Once we ordered we had to wait even longer something. Very unfortunate because the bar seemed to have good vibes but service was ass!

We had a cocktail workshop on September 14 at 3:00 PM, outside opening hours. That was very nice, because all the attention went to the participants and the workshop. The workshop is provided in English. We made delicious cocktails! Nice that there were also non-alcoholic options. Atmosphere is really chill, nice music and a nice bartender ☺️

Drinks are super strong (balance is off), perhaps reduce alcohol and make it the drinks cheaper. Besides that, great location and atmosphere. Nice staff too

Super leuke cocktailbar. Ligging is perfect, direct aan de Witte de Withstraat. Cocktails zijn heerlijk. Bediening is uiterst vriendelijk en heel snel. Echt een aanrader!

Surprisingly nice. On the outside it looks a bit dark, but on the inside it has a good jungle vibe. The cocktails were good and the service was friendly. I liked that there were games on the table that made for a funny conversation. Menu was original too. Chairs were a bit hard, but maybe standing is nicer anyway.

Special drinks menu. My cocktail became a mock version in its cup without me asking. My husband's drink was delicious. Highly priced. Bad bar stools. Bad whine music is a dime a dozen. Bitterballen on the menu, but not in front of you without asking 3 times. Sleek interior but dingy. We were asked three times if we wanted to sit in the back.

Not completely betraying its name, it's slightly hidden in one of the corners of the busy Witte de With street. They have quite a few tables so it's still an intimate experience:). One of the top three cocktail bars of Rotterdam easily. The loveliest bartenders will cater to your palate always. Also there are a couple card and board games around to play and a bunch of tasty finger food to satisfy your hunger.

My favorite bar so far in Rotterdam. It is the only place I've been where they serve actual cocktails (with alcohol on it) considering that everywhere you go they put a small amount of alcohol and tons of sugar. Tasty, interesting and even challenging, when you are not sure what to drink, the bartender will surprise you. Not the place for eating as they only have bitterballen or chips, but definitely the best place to go for some drinks. Prices are elevated but it is worth it if you are a cocktail lover.

Last week our team followed a cocktail workshop at Spikizi in Rotterdam and it was a great experience! From the moment we entered, we immediately felt welcome by the cozy and stylish ambiance. Our host Adelhak (also co-owner of Spikizi) was not only very knowledgeable, but also extremely friendly and enthusiastic. He took the time to explain the cocktails to us and gave us step by step instructions, allowing even the less experienced cocktail makers among us to create beautiful and delicious drinks. Each ingredient was carefully explained and the combination of flavors was truly a feast for the taste buds. We had the chance to make different types of cocktails and each of us found a favorite. In addition, the interaction and team feeling that this workshop brought was really valuable. It was not only educational, but also incredibly fun and connecting for us as a team. We laughed a lot, tasted and learned. Spikizi is an absolute must for anyone looking for a unique and unforgettable experience. Whether you are a cocktail connoisseur or just want to try something new, the combination of the attractive location, the expert guidance and the delicious cocktails makes this an outing that you should not miss. Spikizi Bar in Rotterdam, gelegen aan de levendige Witte de Withstraat, is echt een pareltje. De locatie is perfect, de bar is prachtig ingericht en de cocktails zijn simpelweg de allerlekkerste! Vooral de Pornstar Martini is nergens zo lekker als hier. Het vriendelijke personeel zorgt voor een warme ontvangst en de ambiance is gezellig en uitnodigend. Een absolute aanrader voor een heerlijke avond uit!

We went to Spikizi for a cocktail course for a staff outing. Here we learned to make (and drink) 3 super tasty cocktails. Apart from the fact that the atmosphere was very pleasant, the guidance and the content of the course itself was really great fun. We will definitely come back!

Unfortunately we didn't have a good experience. The place is very small and super crowded with the most uncomfortable chairs I,ve ever sat on. They forgot about our cocktails and we waited way more than 25 minutes to get them. We actually had to ask about them otherwise they wouldn't have brought them to us. Meanwhile people who arrived after us got them. We were with just two of us. The tables were also very sticky and nobody bothered to clean them. The place gets crowded really fast and you can barely hear one another. Not a place I would go back to. The cocktails did not impress at all.

A lot of choices and very tasty cocktails, maybe a little bit pricey for a not so big drink but would definitely recommend (I loved the idea of giving games to play with)

I had made a reservation here well in advance for a bachelor party. A day in advance (at 4:30 PM) I received an email that it could not go ahead due to a shortage of staff. As an alternative, they gave up a friends' tent where we could make cocktails. This was an arrangement where you could make 1 cocktail yourself. Not exactly what you expect from a cocktail workshop and also a completely different concept than Spikizi. We booked with you for a reason... If it were indeed friends from the catering industry, you could also have checked whether someone could fill in. After all, it was a bachelor party. Something that should be an unforgettable day for a bride. I never received a response to my emails after that. For that reason I will never spend another euro with you and neither will my network. Never experienced anything like this before. I understand that things can happen due to unforeseen circumstances. However, I find the unprofessional way in which you handled this absolutely ridiculous.

We visited Spikizi with 2 people and drank 1 cocktail each: the white chocolate pornstar (a twist on the pornstar martini; in the photo at the back) and the Persephone. Both cocktails were tasty. The white chocolate pornstar was especially popular. The service was also friendly. The bar itself is quite small so seating is limited. With an average tip (which is suggested when paying) it came to €31.62, which is a reasonable price for a cocktail bar in a well-known city.

Fun bar in Rotterdam, drinks were made really well and the atmosphere was good. Seats weren’t really comfy though. Also, drinks and food selection wasn’t great, but the drink they had on the menu were all really delicious. Service was also quick and nice.

The cocktails are amazing! It is pricey though. Packed on a weekend. Walk-ins only. They don’t do reservations. Tables are close together, so you can easily overhear each other’s conversations.

An amazing place and great atmosphere. Great music and kind people with a good variety of cocktails. Also great that you can ask the barman for a cocktail that is not on the menu. Als a great plus is that there are some boardgames and also cards with questions and dillemas to keep the conversation flowing. Will go more often! The only slight minus is that it's a bit more expensive imo (12-16€ for a cocktail)

Spikizi has been my go-to since 2020. It's so cozy. The menu is just so nicely tailored and everything tastes great. The staff is attentive. Seriously, they know what they're doing.

We happen to come across Spikizi during our trip in Rotterdam. The staff are extremely friendly, the drinks are delicious and we love the tiki atmosphere. Cool, small cocktailbar in one of the side streets of Witte de Withstraat. Trendy interior with cosy table and a selection of available games. Tried their Lapu Lapu, The thyme is right and one of the Mocktails. All tasted great and looked nice as well. Especially enjoyed the Mezcal based "Thyme is Right", which was really well made.

Have spent some good time here! I spent 3 days in the city and couldn't find a good place to enjoy a cocktail. Jana (Rotterdams' finest Cocktailswaitress!) was very kind and offered us several drinks to taste and enjoy. I would only visit Spikizi if 'Jana' eould still work there!

The cocktails are not that good unfortunately. They were mostly overly sweet and not that well mixed but all in all it was ok. However I would expect much better from a place that specializes in making cocktails. Everything else was great though. Atmosphere was nice and the service was great.

So so crowded on sat evening. Which is good. We need to sit beside the entrance though. Cocktail okish. A must visit for tourist I think.

We had some good cocktails with interesting complex flavors, but they kicked our group out on a Monday night after ordering because one of us was wearing (designer) sweatpants. Meanwhile, the group next to us were all wearing joggers and hoodies. A weird place to draw a line in the sand regarding dress code, and a tone-deaf application of the rule. The argument was that they promote a certain clientele, but have no regard for any other type of clothing, style, behaviors etc. - except for a certain kind of sweatpants. We ended up chugging the cocktails while our friend waited outside. Really disappointing experience.
