McDonald's in Wijk 02 Almere Stad

Placed an order via the column on 5-6-2022. There were then about 20 people waiting in front of us... MC Drive was also not an option due to the long line. It's too dirty inside and it smells like vomit. Apparently tables are no longer cleared at 8 p.m.... it used to be different.

Great branch, clean and tidy and also reasonably fast.

Great location with plenty of parking and seating.

They were doing their hair, leaning against the wall and kitchen appliances, yawning into their hands. And then making your sandwich. "Delicious," and the prices are ridiculous.

They give incomplete orders. My order was missing a Coke Zero with a refill and a cookie with my coffee. They also didn't provide napkins. I don't recommend it!

Update 01-08 If you call these people by phone, they don't answer. If you're sitting in the restaurant, you see the manager deliberately not answering and busy on his personal phone. The entire driveway is jammed, all the way to the main road. It's time to close this location ASAP. And then they had a malfunction, and the manager was gone missing. All orders are quickly suppressed on the screens to stay within their time limits.

Delicious breakfast. But why do I have to wait at the checkout to get a bag of food when I want to eat there?

Such a shame, a few people, I estimate about 5, and then we have to wait 15 minutes for one coffee.

Eating the way it should be at McDonald's

What a terrible McDonald's... We waited half an hour for our food. Then we got half a Coke spilled on our order... They said they'd bring a new burger, but it didn't. Then the staff just laughed at each other, and the food got cold. Truly the worst McDonald's ever!!! Never again.

The fries arrived cold, a burger was missing, and I ordered ice cream after waiting half an hour, only to have it delivered incorrectly. The cash register was unresponsive, and the number of straws didn't match the number of drinks. Not recommended.

We often come here when it's not busy yet. It's great then: the food is good and there's plenty of seating. When it is busy, things have occasionally gone wrong, but they've always resolved it perfectly. Excellent service.

Wait time is very long while they always click them away from the plate within a minute and sometimes you get the wrong food

I waited 45 minutes for a small coke and small fries, asked for it 3 times and then it was served, I find this really unacceptable

We had to wait 10 minutes for two ice creams, and when we finally asked for them, they asked for the receipt even though we'd already told them we hadn't received one. And no, it wasn't busy! Because some women had arrived later than us and left earlier with their orders. We didn't get the impression the women at the counter were very enthusiastic about their work!

Lukewarm food, even with a number on the table, still wrong food, really an average McDonalds

We ordered food online but third part of the order was missing. Since we ordered via thuisbezorgd, we couldn't get the missing stuff.

Mail sent, response received. Mc Flurry contains 176 grams incl topping, that's two scoops of ice cream. We were allowed to get a new one. In the meantime, I've been back to Haven. We got a new one. I still think there's very little ice cream in it, 1.5 to 2 finger phalanges of ice cream. Topping also weighs a lot of course. At other McDonald's you get a lot more ice cream and on the photo of the website there's also clearly a lot more ice cream in the cup. I think that's really misleading. The ice cream is very tasty by the way. (Mc Flurry pistachio) In attachment the photo of the website and the photo of the 2 times we got an ice cream in Almere Haven. First message- I was in the restaurant in Almere Haven with my daughter and son-in-law. We ordered a Mc Flurry there. There was really very little ice cream in the cup. (About 2cm). When I asked, they said that that is the amount of ice that should be in it. Really ridiculously little and that while it has become quite expensive. Got a similar ice cream in Almere Stad and there the ice cream came to the edge. After sending an email to McDonalds themselves they said. That they can't see it in that photo. Well sorry but you can really see a clear difference!! The first photo is what is being advertised. The second photo is the amount you get in Almere Haven and the last amount is what you get in Almere Stad. I find it really strange that there is such a big difference in the amount of ice cream. It seems to me that all McDonalds should give the same. So for us never eat ice cream in Almere Haven again. I would like to receive a solution. Kind regards, Marianne

For a fast food restaurant that takes more than 15 minutes for a simple order without special requests, I still have some question marks. If it was very busy I could understand it, but that was not the case either. Also at other McDonald's you notice that it is no longer like it used to be that your food was ready almost immediately, but this was exceptionally long

Takes a long time to get your food

As a reward for a nice bike trip, get an ice cream. For €3.10 a grand prize for an MC flurry you would expect to find some ice cream in your carton. Unfortunately both MC Flurry's contained less than 20 ml of ice cream with a large air bubble in the middle hidden under some caramel sauce. Very disappointed

Everything is as it should be. Only the windows in the drive through are very high. And often broken or not present. Maybe a bit short of staff. Sometimes a bit of a wait but that is understandable. Still tastes great👍

I dont know if this is only for this mcdonalds or all of netherlands but hamburgers here suck . i bought some cheeseburgers and and a quarter pounder and they ALL TASTE LIKE CARDBOARD . The only decent thing that was not a dissapointment was the mcchicken. Mcdonalds in Germany and Romania are 10x times better. DO BETTER .

Always have a fish burger and if it is prepared well then you know this is a good mac👍

Fries were limp, had to wait a long time, there was a mistake in the order and this was very poorly resolved by the smart staff!! Definitely not for repetition!

We had to wait a very long time, at one point I asked the manager, to which he replied we are not taking any more orders. There was nothing indicated anywhere.....that you have to ask for it I find bad. Can they put up a sign or someone at the door who says that nothing more is coming.

At 1:45 quickly to the mac not recommended! They literally give my chicken nuggets cold and tough for the 3rd time. The mc croquette sauce was more in the packaging than on the burger. And finally no napkins... too bad this is the only one open until late

I think this is a great McDonalds! The staff is super friendly and professional. I always get my food quickly and get good help if something is wrong. You sometimes see them chatting but they are still working quickly. Sometimes I see the lobby and think what is this, but it is logical that it does not always work in the crowd, when it is quieter it is always neat in my experience! So I definitely recommend this McDonalds!

Ice cream is delicious. Unfortunately not directly on the highway.

Looked at Thunder's animals here. First we saw a fat rat in the drive and then a fox. It was a good thing, a bit of entertainment, since you apparently spend about HALF AN HOUR in the drive here on a Wednesday evening around midnight. And then your food is also cold. I had to wait 30 minutes for 4 Mc Fluries for ice cream that had melted and had little to nothing on it. If that was the case with 1, it could happen, but it happened with all of them. There was also another woman waiting 40 minutes for 3 ice creams

I had ordered only 2 items, they forgot 1 item. This isn't the first time either, they rarely get it right. French fries were half filled, and I wasn't the only one. I observe how pretty much most french fries going out was filled poorly. Why is there no quality assurance? This has been happening for years now.

A delicious Frappe caramel for on the go. Less than 5 minutes later I have nothing in my cup other than big chunks of ice. Worst Frappe Ever!!!

The restaurant was disgusting, tables were dirty, trash cans were all full, drinks were all over the floor and then you were allowed to eat in this mess. Then you also see a manager who has a job interview and indicates (as you can tell by pointing) about room work, you should be ashamed. Then you just sit and eat among the rubbish.

Worst experience ever in a McDonald's. We came in to get a quick breakfast and ended up having to wait 25 minutes! It was also noticeable that the “packing stickers” were printed out immediately. Probably to achieve good service times for the head office, while that was really not an issue. An employee even walked by with her entire arm full of stickers with orders. And eventually the employee asked for our receipt to ask what we had. The entire restaurant was full of frustrated guests and we were late for our appointment.

This is truly one of the worst McDonald's I have ever visited. Every time we order something via McDrive, something is missing - even though we just paid for it. It seems to be a standard problem because it happens every time. And as soon as it gets a little busier, the employees become completely overwhelmed and it seems as if they have completely lost the overview. Service leaves much to be desired. Definitely not recommended.

This Mac branch in Almere is highly recommended. While other people complain in their reviews about incredibly slow, unmotivated staff, incomplete orders, piles of untidy waste on the tables and dirty floors, I can only endorse these complaints. I think this is a great project for the Dutch Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority. A few weeks ago I was in this branch and yes, I was missing the fries. I had to politely ask for this several (!) times. And yes... finally, after a very long wait, the fries arrived.......*sigh* ........ A staff member was talking for at least 20(!) minutes with a person he knew, who happened to be passing by......Nothing was said at all! What's more, the (sometimes very) young staff was not managed at all: it was every man for himself and God for all. Actually, something like this is very sad for all those young people who come to Mac to gain their (first) catering work experience. I don't know what the future of this Mac branch is. What I do know for sure (after about 40 minutes of observation) is that the manager and the assistant manager are extremely incompetent. I would stay away from here if I were you.....

Just had to wait 30 minutes for a drive order of 50 euros. This is really too ridiculous for words. The worst part is that no one gives the impression that they think this is a problem.

Enjoyed this culinary high-quality restaurant. The burgers were of high quality. A unique experience. Hopefully this business can expand quickly, creating an established restaurant in every city. What a refreshing chain.

Waiting 26 minutes for 3 burgers and a bigmac menu. To then be able to eat 2 out of 3 hamburgers cold. Go to Almere Buiten or if you are going towards Muiden, take the Mac along the A1, just pass it, it is worthless.

Mijn bestelling werd vorige week geannuleerd via thuisbezorgd en nu wilde ik weer wat bestellen heb ik ze van te voren gebeld of dat kan de persoon aan de telefoon zei ja we bezorgen naar Almere poort toch werd de bestelling geannuleerd, ik vroeg me alleen af hoe dat kwam meer niet en wilde graag de manager spreken! die sprak toen met een attitude aan de telefoon alsof ik moet weten (als klant zijnde) dat het niet aan hun licht ik nam aan dat als je samen werkt met thuisbezorgd dat je wel weet hoe of wat nou blijkbaar niet oké geen probleem maar dat kan je dan 100% netjes vertellen aan de telefoon en niet te keer gaan alsof ik iets verkeerds heb gezegd als je je werk niet leuk vind als manager neem dan ontslag. En laat het over die wel normaal kan praten aan de telefoon

Personeel blijft in de keuken staan als je terugkomt( bij 5 bestellingen rondom ons) Je moet op afsand tegen ze praten Samen kletsen is blijkbaar belangrijker Ontzettend traag tempo, restaurant en drive nagenoeg leeg, geen overwerkt personeel.

ALWAYS CONTROL YOUR ORDER! We ordered from the restaurant a take away, I asked if all is ok in the bag to the lady at the counter and she said all is in the bag. One French fries is missing, nuts on the sundae are missing! All paid items and they forgot! It was too late to go back! Never coming back again.

We just had dinner here. Around 11:00 PM. Took 20 minutes to get our food. No one wears a hairnet in the kitchen. It was chaos. They did not offer Tafal service. But the numbers on the board were simply thrown off. (As if they had exceeded a certain time limit) So it went back to old-fashioned shouting. Food was tasty. Only the sandwiches were a bit poorly filled.

The staff was incredibly slow. It wasn't super busy, but we still had to wait 25 minutes. And that while there were more than enough staff. They just stood there chatting instead of working. The food was almost cold, because the hot part of the order had been ready for a long time, but the cold part still had to be made (read milkshakes that took almost 10 minutes). The tables were dirty, the trash cans were overflowing, and the floor was littered with food scraps and trash. I deliberately skipped the toilet.

The staff was really nice, there where a lot of young lively people working. The food was done pretty quick it was only 15 min, which is pretty impressive considering how many people there where. The only downside is the rude customers that leave their food on the table after consumption as if they can’t afford to clean up after themselves. (I also see a lot of people complaining even tho 15 min is very fast to get your food considering that the have a lot of orders to prepare)
