McDonald's in Wijk 02 Almere Stad

Went there today, what a piece of trash. Ordered several things, 54 euros, including 2 frappuccinos without whipped cream and caramel, and a double maple bacon bun without bacon. The frappuccino machine didn't work, so that ended up being a medium milkshake and a medium Sprite. But I didn't get a refund for these cheap substitutes. So I was ripped off by McDonald's. You couldn't make me angrier; I went to the cashier, this lady couldn't help me, so I asked for the manager, but she was helping in the kitchen, so she didn't have time to give me my money back... it couldn't get any crazier... Oh yes it could; that double hamburger arrived single, so my son stood there waiting for a long time for this mistake to be rectified, until I asked, "Hey, my son has been waiting for his order for ages." Turns out it's been ready for ages, really... SKIP THIS MC, WORST IN THE NETHERLANDS

I bought a 3 euro beverage and it was filled absolutely to the brim with ice. I went up just super nice and was like "hey honestly my cup had no beverage" and showed them the cup full of ice. He said "sorry sir the machine does it. Sorry." And then filled up a cup of soda for himself with no ice. Bruh.

McDonald's is terribly bad these days. I used to come here as a kid and everything was fine back then. I get served cold food, then I point this out... The manager says, 'It's not that bad, is it?' I ask for new burgers 'Well sir, it's not cold. It's probably still a bit lukewarm.' What terrible service. New manager, I'd say.

This place has gone downhill so much.. Unfriendly staff & manager. Perhaps they should look for a small team of new staff.

I ordered a cheeseburger with nonthing expect cheese but when it came out i didnt even have the cheese, it isnt that hard.

Over the past couple of years, nothing seems to have changed at this place… We waited around 40 minutes for our order. That must be a record! You could literally drive to the next town, have a meal there 😂, come back, and your order would probably still be waiting for you — only cold by then.

This is truly one of the worst experiences I have had at McDonald’s. I had to wait more than 42 minutes for my order. This is absolutely not normal for a fast-food restaurant. When you have to wait this long for your food, you expect at least good communication and service. Unfortunately, that was not the case either. A wait time of more than 42 minutes without a clear explanation is simply disappointing. I hope this is looked into seriously, because in this way, the service is really far below par.

I'm normally not negative, but our delivery driver during a home delivery was very rude. After we received a bag of food from him that was soaking wet, and we pointed this out and wanted to check the food, he was irritated, said "that's not my problem, call McDonald's about this," and quickly walked away on his bike. We called McDonald's, but no one answered, and after they finally did answer, they said, "Oh okay, and now what? It left here without any problems, so we can't do anything... contact Thuisbezorgd," but the order wasn't correct either. Thuisbezorgd isn't doing anything either, stupid AI chat... so food in the trash, money lost. We had two different menus: 1 medium and 1 large. Received two medium burgers, fries completely soggy, and one drink empty.

I had paid nearly 16 euros for a medium menu. Okay, yes, you spend a lot of money on food everywhere, but I then had to go to the toilet before continuing. Then I also had to pay 1 euro for a toilet visit that wasn't exactly completely clean. I consider this to be very poor service, because when I eat somewhere else, I don't have to pay for toilet use.

I bought a McChicken, but the burger was only lukewarm. I went back to the counter and was told that the burger had just been made. Then the manager came over. I told her that my burger was not hot. She said that she thought the burger was hot, but in my opinion, a burger is supposed to be hot. After that, she said that I had to buy a new burger. I didn't think that was reasonable, because I had already paid for a burger that wasn't properly hot. Finally, she said that I had to wait ten minutes. I am very disappointed with the way my complaint was handled. I had expected my burger to be replaced without any discussion.

Waited almost half an hour for a cheeseburger and a Happy Meal. Only young girls with an attitude that goes from here to Tokyo work there. NO SERVICE. I get rude answers when I ask questions about the menu. "@ the menu is broken" Order a hamburger without onions, get one with onions; when I say something about it, I get another disgusted look. Relaxed staff, which means I have to wait 20 minutes for my order. People ordering after me are served sooner. The staff gives extra sauces to friends. As a customer, you also have to pay €1 for the toilet, which you do not get back as a discount on your order (and those toilets aren't that clean).

This is the worst McDonald's I've ever been to. Honestly! Ukraine, Germany, France... EVERYWHERE: free restrooms, fast checkout, excellent service. Here, it's the exact opposite! Two employees for the entire place, seriously? One at the cash register takes your order and goes to make it, the other collects it like a turtle and pours drinks. Orders aren't given out one at a time, and the order disappears from the display long before it's given out (they also mark it as given). And there's always a lot of trash. This is the worst McDonald's I've ever been to. On April 25, 2026, at 10:15 AM, I ordered a Big Testi. I received my order at 10:50 AM in terrible condition. The burger was cold and falling apart, as if it had been dropped on the floor. The service is on par with street vendors in India. Horrible, horrible, and even more horrible. Do not visit this place under any circumstances.

If you want the experience of wait 20 minutes while half of them stand around doing nothing. With the bonus feature of them getting half your order wrong then this place is perfect!

I wanted to keep my receipt for my accounting because I don't always have enough cash for it. If I paid €19.00 for a friend's birthday, I am 1. not allowed to keep my receipt. 2. The woman who served me was not hospitable; she screamed across half the restaurant and kitchen asking whether I was allowed to keep my receipt or not, or if I could have the copy or the original. I work in the hospitality industry myself and I have never experienced anything like this at a McDonald's. I am really not happy about this.

I placed my order, went outside for only a minute, and when I came back I said, "Did the screen say my order was ready?" They told me, "Yes, but we immediately threw the order in the bin. We'll prepare a new one for you!" What's with the employees' impatience? I really didn't like the service.

The ice cream was okay. Otherwise, I'm not a fan of McDonald's, so I didn't get a menu. I had to pay €1 for the toilet, which was also filthy and had no toilet paper. You don't need to come here for the atmosphere either.

It's as if they don't care about you and are just working to get their shift over with quickly. That's the impression they get. Teenagers are often there, and it's quite noisy.

Some move like flies trapped in honey. It's by no means a fast-food. Better go to Burger King or KFC down the street — they offer a way better customer experience!

We waited 30 minutes for our food. Everyone who ordered after us received their order early. After this was pointed out, they said, "Almost ready!" And we waited another 10 minutes.

Two weeks ago, I walked into McDonald’s in Almere Stad around 9:15 for a simple order: one burger with egg. By 9:45, I still hadn't received anything. Meanwhile, people who came in after me—with larger orders—did get their food quickly. I asked twice what was going on, but the staff acted like they were busy and no one really looked at my order. After a long wait, it turned out that my burger had been ready for at least ten minutes, but no one had bothered to check. It just seemed like too much trouble. I understand that it might not be an easy or fun job, but jeez… the service was really bad. If you treat customers like that, you just drive them away.

It was market day and quite busy. No table service, the sandwich seemed to have been made in a hurry, it looked terrible.

There's nothing right about this McDonald's. It's overrun with fat-bike kids who feel the need to be constantly loud, and the atmosphere is absolutely rubbish, nothing. And not to mention the staff. Orders on the screen are not respected at all. It appears that your food is ready when it isn't. There are people with impairments that could not hear you calling the numbers so they rely on the screen.

The food was well prepared. The only thing I'd pay attention to is the tracking at the checkout. The order pickup board doesn't work. The checkout staff is not enouch, leading to crowds and long waits. There are also violations of sanitary regulations: prepared food is handed out without gloves, and staff are required to wear special head coverings.

It's generally good for fast food the times I've eaten here. I just find it a bit gross that the staff prepares the food without gloves. I just saw that when I ordered breakfast (which was almost all sold out). I grabbed the sandwich, slice of cheese, and the fatty bacon without gloves or tongs. Hygiene isn't really an issue here😠

I ordered two cappuccinos with oat milk. The first order was served cold. When I pointed this out, I clearly stated again that it was an oat cappuccino. To my surprise, I then received cappuccinos with cow's milk. I have an allergy, so this was not only sloppy but also irresponsible. Very disappointing service. Never again for me.

Worst McDonald's ever for customer service. You wait forever, their screens don't work properly to show ready orders (numbers just disappear from the screen), and the front service person randomly shouts order numbers at people when the orders are not even completely ready and end up missing items!

I found hair in my food and I spoke to the team leader about it and he spoke to me with disrespect and that is because I am a trans woman, no one had treated me with respect there and the female employees all had their hair down, which could cause hair to get into the food.

Today I ordered a double Big Tasty menu without bacon for pickup. It was clearly stated, and the request was simple. I got home and what do you know? It had bacon on it again. Unbelievable... We live 10 min away from Mcdonalds, food arrived cold, half the order was missing, the nuggets not there, sauce not there and we ordered the bigmac friends boxes which costs more and just got normal big mac menu no friends. Never ordering mcdonalds again

Long wait for "fast food" on a regular workday

I walked around an none of the tables were clean. I found one that didn't have the sauce from previous visitors, so I took that one carefully. Health hazard And not just for the bad quality of food that lacked any decent preparation.

The staff is just plain rude; if you raise any concerns about your order, they laugh at you behind your back. The order was supposed to be in the restaurant, but it was wrapped up and practically thrown down. Furthermore, their ordering system immediately suppresses your order, and if you're hard of hearing and can't hear them and you raise a concern, they simply ignore you. This includes the manager on duty.

I'm not a fan anyway, but I go here for my kids. But how dare you charge €1 for the restroom when I spent €30 there? Shouldn't a child be allowed to use the restroom for free? Disgraceful!

The staff is incredibly slow. They see a long line and don't move a single bit faster. There are 10 staff members walking around, and they're all either doing nothing or acting like they're in a snail's mode. It's really annoying when you're waiting there.

Well, everyone knows McDonald's; it's the place to go for a quick bite, so I won't review the food. However, there's something to be said about the staff. I was patiently waiting for my order and started observing the staff. I noticed one customer waiting at the cash register asking a woman for help, but the woman couldn't help because she was packing things for delivery. Twenty minutes later, the man still hadn't been helped, and someone was yelling from the kitchen for someone to come. This while a young man was enjoying his drink not two steps away from the cash register. All in all, it looked busy—just your typical McDonald's.
