It’s really just people hollering in your order and when you go and check it, sauce is not there and they mostly ignore your modifications and the new friends meal is just over priced paying 14 bucks just for a Big Mac meal and a toy and they are severely understaffed but food is still not bad

I ordered two cappuccinos with oat milk. The first order was served cold. When I pointed this out, I clearly stated again that it was an oat cappuccino. To my surprise, I then received cappuccinos with cow's milk. I have an allergy, so this was not only sloppy but also irresponsible. Very disappointing service. Never again for me.

A McDonald's like the rest, but the staff here look like a bunch of starfish, so empty. Six people are standing around looking around as if an invasion is taking place, and they're too tired to even bother working. You work at a fast food chain, no theater, just make a sandwich...

Waited atleast 30 minutes for nuggets and fries whilst everyone else that ordered later got their food first. A good 10 people got their orders first. Then the cleaning lady proceeded to kick is out since they were “closing” yet others were allowed to stay there? Overall horrible experience and the worst McDonald’s in almere.

Worst McDonald's ever for customer service. You wait forever, their screens don't work properly to show ready orders (numbers just disappear from the screen), and the front service person randomly shouts order numbers at people when the orders are not even completely ready and end up missing items!

I found hair in my food and I spoke to the team leader about it and he spoke to me with disrespect and that is because I am a trans woman, no one had treated me with respect there and the female employees all had their hair down, which could cause hair to get into the food.

Got my food there, waited over 20 minutes, and it turned out our order had been forgotten. Completely cold, fries completely soggy. I reported it, the fries were thrown away, but I didn't get new fries or a refund. The manager refused everything. The next day, I got a cheeseburger, but it had no cheese on it. I didn't get a cheeseburger afterward because "you opened it." It was as if I could see with my X-ray vision that there was no cheese on it. Worst McDonald's in the Netherlands. Don't eat here. You'll get robbed right in front of your eyes. The manager there should be fired immediately!!

Today I ordered a double Big Tasty menu without bacon for pickup. It was clearly stated, and the request was simple. I got home and what do you know? It had bacon on it again. Unbelievable... They only had one job. This literally ruined my dinner. It's so frustrating to pay for something you specifically didn't want, and then still come home with the wrong items. This really doesn't belong in a restaurant like this.

We live 10 min away from Mcdonalds, food arrived cold, half the order was missing, the nuggets not there, sauce not there and we ordered the bigmac friends boxes which costs more and just got normal big mac menu no friends. Never ordering mcdonalds again

Long wait for "fast food" on a regular workday

I walked around an none of the tables were clean. I found one that didn't have the sauce from previous visitors, so I took that one carefully. Health hazard And not just for the bad quality of food that lacked any decent preparation.

Ordered food for over 40 euros and had to pay to use the restroom!!! Completely against all laws in the Netherlands. We brought this to the attention of the so-called manager, who showed absolutely no understanding. We will never return!!!! He also urged everyone not to visit this restaurant again. Restaurants that can't comply with the law have no right to exist!!!

Terrible service, awful hamburger, 18-minute wait. I won't be back. A packet of kerchup cost 0.85 cents. Scandalous.

The ordering machine didn’t give us a receipt, and when we asked for help, the woman at the counter was very rude

The staff is just plain rude; if you raise any concerns about your order, they laugh at you behind your back. The order was supposed to be in the restaurant, but it was wrapped up and practically thrown down. Furthermore, their ordering system immediately suppresses your order, and if you're hard of hearing and can't hear them and you raise a concern, they simply ignore you. This includes the manager on duty.

I'm not a fan anyway, but I go here for my kids. But how dare you charge €1 for the restroom when I spent €30 there? Shouldn't a child be allowed to use the restroom for free? Disgraceful!

1 euro for toilet per person without voucher, if you go to toilet you do not get voucher, no soap in the toilet, 15 minutes waiting for food, as for me that is scandalous

Had to wait an hour for a burger that looked like someone sat on it.

The staff is incredibly slow. They see a long line and don't move a single bit faster. There are 10 staff members walking around, and they're all either doing nothing or acting like they're in a snail's mode. It's really annoying when you're waiting there.

Well, everyone knows McDonald's; it's the place to go for a quick bite, so I won't review the food. However, there's something to be said about the staff. I was patiently waiting for my order and started observing the staff. I noticed one customer waiting at the cash register asking a woman for help, but the woman couldn't help because she was packing things for delivery. Twenty minutes later, the man still hadn't been helped, and someone was yelling from the kitchen for someone to come. This while a young man was enjoying his drink not two steps away from the cash register. All in all, it looked busy—just your typical McDonald's.

Opens at 10 but still closed at 10:15

The table service was terrible. The receipt number system wasn't working either. I received the wrong order. It was exchanged, so it was fine. But otherwise, the restaurant was filthy and the staff wasn't exactly friendly. But the biggest reason for this review/1 star: as a customer, you have to pay 1 euro per person just to use the restroom! What kind of bizarre, unfriendly policy is that?

Lazy staff, extra long waits for the food for no reason

As a pescatarian, I don't go there very often because of the limited options, but in recent years they have been trying to make the menu more accessible for non-meat eaters.

The wait for the food is incredibly long. We even waited about 30 minutes for our order. Everything was already cold and tasteless. Please do your job properly.

Charging a euro for a dirty toilet is absurd.

I never expected to leave a review for Maccie, but I'm so astonished by how truly disorganized this location is that I hope a regional manager reads this and takes a look at what's going wrong. I've already had to wait 20 minutes for two products that, I think, had been ready for 15 minutes. Meanwhile, the staff stood around in a huddle doing nothing. They have no structure, leaning against the walls with long, loose hair—oh my god, how disgusting. They're incredibly unfriendly and don't seem to care at all. There's no one around to direct the staff and maintain order in this completely out-of-control chaos they've created themselves.

A very poor McDonald's. The lines are incredibly long, the tables are dirty, and the restroom is very small and pay-to-eat. The food is probably reheated... the worst McDonald's I've ever been to.

I haven't seen such a dirty store in a long time. I don't find it very appetizing when you're a customer standing at the counter and see how filthy the floor in the "kitchen" is. There were wrappers, noodles, fries, and other things lying around. The employee I spoke to shrugged. He obviously didn't care.

It's a McDonald's. Very clean and tidy. But it's ridiculous that you charge paying customers €1 for a toilet visit. McDonald's has already become extremely expensive. The local snack bar is half the price. Yet, you still take the kids to McDonald's. But then having to pay a fortune to let the kids pee is ridiculous!!!!

I was here on July 30, 2025. I'm a McDonald's employee and saw that this place doesn't meet the standard requirements of McDonald's Netherlands. Firstly, the OAT was full and wasn't passed on to other employees to ensure smoother service. Secondly, when I received my order, I didn't receive napkins or sauce with my finger food. Thirdly, when I tried to ask for these missing items, I was completely ignored by the service staff. Fourthly, the tenders in the wraps were at least 20 minutes old, meaning they had been printed at least twice on the UHC screen. Furthermore, the cucumbers in the dressing were warm; they shouldn't be on the dressing table in such large quantities, causing them to become warm. All in all, it was very disappointing, and it's deteriorating the image of McDonald's on a national level. I hope this review is taken into account in the next meeting. I advise the managers to maintain proper procedures and educate people that it's not about getting everything done as quickly as possible, but about guest satisfaction. Sincerely, Daniël

I walked in and immediately all the thugs were at the door. When I got to McDonald's, I placed my order as usual. Then it was my turn to pick it up. The man working gave me a death stare as if he wanted to hurt me. I'll never eat here again!

I'm getting so tired of this McDonald's, it's truly one of the worst in the Netherlands. Ordering through Thuisbezorgd or on-site always takes an incredibly long time. If you just want a cheeseburger, for example, you can expect a 15-20 minute wait. Today was the same again. I ordered something through Thuisbezorgd, and the delivery driver arrived after just 15 minutes, but he still had to wait a whole hour for mine and someone else's order. Even he was frustrated. Then it turned out the order was incomplete, and everything had simply been dumped in the bag instead of being organized properly, as many other restaurants do. The staff here is never friendly or helpful (rare these days in fast food in the West), and it feels so uncomfortable that you don't even want to stay. I'll eat it outside in the sun, by the lake or something. If you're going to order, order from the McDonald's at Oorweg 7. It's a bit further, so delivery takes 5-10 minutes longer, but the total delivery time is usually only 40 minutes, instead of 60-90 minutes at this McDonald's. At the McDonald's on Oorweg, they're also much more efficient with orders, and I've had far fewer problems.

Charging people a euro for eating in your restaurant as a customer is bizarrely bad.

We waited 25 minutes for our food; they forgot. Now it turns out you have to pay 1 euro for the restroom. I find that ridiculous; normally it would have been free. I didn't mind paying, but not 1 euro. Even though we ordered our food, I just went to the town hall, where there are free restrooms.

One of the worst McDonald's experiences in a long time. Waited 25 minutes for our food, and was charged €1 for my baby's restroom, even though we ate there. Terrible service.

If you order 2 menus, you get 1. Girl who takes the order (foreign) does not understand that you want 2. I am not a fan of Mac anyway.

When we entered we could only order "To go". Mistake, we could also eat inside. Ordered Egg McMuffin without cheese, got cheese. Our order form said "without cheese". Our croissants still had to be baked, took more than 15 minutes. Ordered normal orange juice, but could only order apple juice. When picking it up it turned out to be the other way around, no apple juice but orange juice. Very mediocre.

Very disappointed in this visit to McDonald's. I had to wait 18 minutes for my coffee, while there were almost no people in the restaurant. The staff just stood there and literally did nothing. They were slow, disinterested and unmotivated. Some just stood there with their fingers up their noses. When I politely asked if they could make my coffee, I was met with a rude response: “Just wait your turn” — even though there was no line at all. This is embarrassing for a brand like McDonald's. I absolutely do not recommend this establishment. Terrible service. 1/10.

I got my order really quickly, the manager (man in the white shirt) is very attentive and kind, we got great ice creams!

Here we ate cheeseburgers, MC croquette and filet o fish yesterday and today due to diarrhea. I didn't sleep last night because of the pain in my stomach and today I had to go to the toilet. The burgers were tough and the MC croquette was clearly old and dried out. I will never eat here again and if I were someone else I would never eat here!!!!!!

Hamburgers overcooked and dry at the location very dirty above the tables dirty yet 1 reasonable table found, 8 ladies age 12/14 years came with a lot of foul language and were almost on our table Never eat here again in many macs, however, the food, staff and hygiene are very far below par. I'm already not a big fan of Mc. Let's go at least. With the kids. It was busy, mainly young people inside and outside. Most had no consumption. There were staff walking around with their coats on, perhaps just off work, and it seemed as if they had invited their circle of friends. The entire club stood at the issuing/ordering counter. Laughable and noisy presence. I ordered at the counter, the employee seemed completely absent and not interested. Was distracted by the young people present. A chair fell over, and a plant fell hard to the ground. The manager was busy, running around, cleaning up trash cans, addressing troublesome young people, and also tending to fries and the cash register. I felt sorry for him, he was friendly but also slightly over-stressed. I don't have to explain that my order went wrong. Wrong fries, instead of hamburger, chicken nuggets, and forgot sauce. 2 napkins for 3 people. The crowds, hysteria, and chaos made it unpleasant. McDonalds should be ashamed of themselves for treating their employees this way. They are not at all concerned with hospitality and safety. An additional security guard or additional managerial colleague would make things more manageable I also see this trend at other Mc branches. Shame! Afterwards I went to my trusted, delicious Febo. Perhaps you should also ignore the MC more often.

Waiting way too long. 2 drinks... they manipulate the orders to make it seem like they are very fast. But you're waiting half an hour

They always select that your order is ready when in fact it's not and you have to wait ~15 more minutes after it appeared on the screen that is ready. Not everyone speaks dutch so I have no idea when they call if it's mine or not. I usually look on the screen to see. Also for sure there are customers with hearing impairment which also watch the screen to know when their order is done.

I ordered two cookies, and they gave it to me totally frozen. I asked the worker for baking it somehow, because that was impossible to eat, totally cold, even with ice. Then she returned it to me like it was heated in the microwave, still cold and with a watery texture. I have worked in McDonalds and I know that this can happen when you didn’t make the tempering of the product properly and on time. At least, they could take it out of the Screen, or warn me before it is served.

Once and never again. Ordered food and it took a long time. A girl was frying fries, sat with her fingers on the fries in the fryer basket trying to get fries out, sat with her hands on her hair, in her face. Really UGLY! When I said something about it I felt like the chef wasn't taking me seriously. Bizarrely unhygienic and I really think that's an issue sorry.

The McFlurry is the pinnacle of fast food, according to the words of my partner. We came here after Burger King and the ice cream is just very tasty. It was really dirty inside, there was rubbish everywhere and lettuce and stuff on all the tables. The atmosphere is bad. We walked upstairs and twenty tough guys scolded us. Furthermore, only barking but would not come at night if I was a target. The toilet was gross, admittedly less claustrophobic than at Burger King, but there was toilet paper in the sink. I love McDonalds like a son gone wrong. You always have higher hopes, but more or less you don't love me.

If I were to compare MC Donald's to KFC, I would of course recommend MC Donald's, but these Dutch fast foods are bland compared to Polish ones.

Duration. Small soggy sandwich with a small hamburger, limp lettuce and some sauce, a very small container with some small thin fries, with a small bag of fries sauce and a cup of coffee, the coffee was good, drinking cup with lid, awkward to drink from, so I took the lid off.

Last time I was here I had to wait 45 minutes for a large fries. The employees are slow moving, have a bad attitude and they are unfriendly. I had the impression that the people around me were of the same opinion. I understand that this work is difficult, but I think you should at least have a smile. I have nothing positive to say about the employees.

Received my food quickly with table service, it was very tasty.

It was freezing outside, but the doors were wide open, making it freezing cold inside. All the tables were dirty and the trash cans were overflowing. I had to wait 30 minutes for my order, even though it was not busy at all, and then it turned out to be incomplete. The toilets were clogged, the soap dispenser was broken on the floor and the floor was sticky with urine.

Literally the slowest McDonald's I have ever been to; I had 25min to drink a coffee, in the end I was not served, and had to leave without getting it. I also ordered an apple tart, which they did not have, the lady offered something else, but then after 25 min I had to leave Don't come here, the worst McDonald's experience I have ever had.

It takes a long time for your food to be ready, staff does not leave their zone in the kitchen.

The waiting time is terrible in the morning when there is absolutely no traffic and you have to wait for an excruciatingly long time to order. Food is sometimes incomplete. The lady in the white shirt is not nice and rude. It seems like she's here as a punishment.
