Very bad McDonald's in Almere. And it's a shame that the head office doesn't do anything about how bad things are going in Almere. I've been there every last month, during both quiet and busy times. I always had to wait a long time. I thought it was fast food, but it was more than half an hour. 45 minutes, and the team leader doesn't do much either. So I won't be going to McDonald's. Luckily, there's a real snack bar in Almere that's cheaper, tasty, and fast fast food. There are people working there in a good team, and McDonald's can learn a lot from them. Never again, Big Mac. And yes, it's all about money, not about quality, cleanliness, or customer service. McDonald's doesn't know anything about it. Update: After 4 years, nothing has changed. I don't understand why the head office doesn't do anything about it.

I waited in line for 40 minutes. During that time, an employee came outside three times, eventually even placing a pole behind my car, which literally stuck me in the middle of nowhere. Once I got to the intercom, after all that waiting, I was simply turned away, claiming the system had already been disconnected. Completely unacceptable. No explanation, no warning, and no effort to resolve the issue. Making customers wait so long and then dismissing them without mercy is disrespectful and downright poor customer service. Certainly not the service you should expect. Absolutely not recommended.

Things always go wrong with large orders at this McDonald's. Often, it ends up being cold by the time you get home, even though you live just five minutes away. I always check my order before I leave, and 10 times out of 10, I have to go back to the counter because it's wrong. A plain plate has sauce on it, or it's missing exactly what should be on it. Or maybe an entire menu is missing. They don't make a fuss, but it seems out of place to me that your order is always wrong and cold within five minutes.

they keep missing and forgetting things. today was the last straw! they wrapped a regular cheeseburger in a wrapper instead of a double cheeseburger! the order was on McDrive and by the time we saw it we were already far away. you have a lot of bad reviews like this. finally pay attention to this!

Update: Does the drive-thru ever get an order completely right? Ten times the charm? They rarely open on time. It's 8:30 and they're still closed. The drive-thru is also supposed to open at 7:00. Change your opening hours then! That's terrible!

Quick service, fresh food, and delicious. Note: paid parking is a deterrent; I won't be back. Food is expensive enough as it is. €7.05 for one hamburger, sauce, and medium fries. It's gotten so expensive! Parking at the KRC (next door) is free.

This isn't my first visit, and today is my last. The staff is incredibly slow and I've never seen anyone more unfriendly. I was the only one who placed an order, and mine took 5 minutes to be processed. It's always like this here. When I asked for my coffee, she said my order wasn't ready yet, to which I replied that I wanted hot coffee, not cold, when it was ready. Then she simply threw my order on the tray without a word of apology for the delay or thank you for the order. If it were done with respect, I'd understand, but I'm the only one who placed an order. Teach your staff some politeness.

Don't get ice cream from the drive-thru! There were two cars ahead of us, and it took 20 minutes to get our McFlurry. It had melted by then. This is the second time this has happened. Bad business.

This is such a terrible branch. I tried to reach them by phone from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and they either hung up on me every time or didn't even answer the phone. Who is the manager here, and why haven't you got your act together? Then the order was wrong. The food got cold... I can't wait to get it right. Bye bye appetite. You think you can just make a quick order after a hard day's work, and this is what you end up with. If you can't even handle fast food, you've really sunk as a company. Never come back.

I'm going to call the Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority for you. You're not even allowed to offer food that cold! I'm so done with McDonald's because of you! I just hit that star, otherwise I can't post anything. You can leave here as far as I'm concerned. You're worthless!!

An hour-long wait at the quietest time of day... and then the woman at the drive-through lets her friends order through the drive-through on foot... there are literally strangers standing next to your car at the window, pushing in front of you while 30 cars are waiting.

We came here for a McFlurry. Unfortunately, the McFlurry doesn't taste as good as it used to. The same goes for the rest of the menu, too. Everything has become much more expensive, while the quality has declined. The advantage is that there's a McDrive. The convenience is why we come back occasionally. Hopefully, it will improve in the future.

The upstairs is filthy. It starts on the stairs. Food everywhere on the floor. Leftovers on the table (shame on you, customers!) and the toilets are disgusting. Disgraceful.

A lot of things get forgotten when ordering... in the 10 minutes I was there, I saw five people walk back for sauce, chicken nuggets, burgers... A Big Mac was also forgotten in my order! The food was also cold!

The food is fine, or so it seems. I'm just missing something every time: sometimes the sauces, other times the fries, and today I ordered two cheeseburgers. Yes, I double-checked, and it was definitely on the receipt. You're not going to check the whole bag in a rush. Of course, if you drive back from home, you'll probably still get your food. Well, you'll have to drive back from home... Not fun either.

The drive-in is very small and very busy. That's a big disadvantage for me. Not pleasant.

I ordered a McFlurry with Oreo and received less than half a cup. At the counter I was told, “If you want more, pay extra,” and that the photo on the menu looks bigger because it shows a smaller cup. If so, why give a large empty cup instead of a proper portion? When I asked for a refund, they refused and only added ice cream into my already melted cup in a dismissive way. Very poor service — this was my last time ordering McFlurry here.

Food is served lukewarm. If you're lucky, your milkshake won't be heating up before anything is done with your food. They have a knack for making your milkshake first and then letting it warm for 5-10 minutes while they wait for the hot food to be ready. The food is more often lukewarm than hot or warm.

I haven't received a single good order in the past few months; it's simply amazing. The McDonald's in the south of the country prepares the food with more professionalism, and they understand that if you order sauce, you have to put it in the bag, or if you order and pay for four fries, you actually get four fries.

My experience at your location was below all expectations. For just two Happy Meals, a wrap, and two burgers, I had to wait over 25 minutes. Then the fries turned out to be cold, the toys were missing from the Happy Meals, and a box of cheese snacks was missing. As if that wasn't enough, I found a complete mess: overflowing trash bins, trash everywhere, and tables that hadn't been cleared or cleaned. This is a serious hygiene and safety issue, and it's incomprehensible that this could happen at a company like McDonald's. I expect you not only to take this seriously but also to take action. This McDonald's isn't worthy of being called fast food. I'm curious what the NVWA (Netherlands Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority) would do if they found this establishment like this.

What a filthy, disgusting place. They don't sweep, and the tables are sticky. A pigsty. Last time. I cynically asked for a broom and cloth. I GOT THEM. The manager didn't show up...

Wat een vreselijke service in deze McDonalds in Almere Buiten. Het was niet druk maar het duurde lang!! Onze bestelling werd (waarschijnlijk binnen de tijd van de gestelde KPI) doorgedrukt naar ‘gereed’ en daarna duurde het nog 20 minuten voor het eten klaar was. Ondertussen stonden de dranken wel vast klaar wat 3 gesmolten milkshakes opleverde en een lauwe cola. Toen ik aangaf dat het allemaal wel erg lang duurde werd ik glazig aangekeken door de medewerker achter de balie, ze zei geen woord terug en liep weg. Thuis gekomen zat de fritessaus niet bij de bestelling. Grote teleurstelling, slechte service en enkel focus op KPI halen boven kwaliteit van eten en drinken.

A nice, simple McDonald's restaurant. Unfortunately, there's no patio seating or playground for the kids. When it's very busy, the takeout line extends onto the street, outside the drive-through. Otherwise, the food and service are what you'd expect from a McDonald's restaurant.

Seriously, I ordered at 8:55 PM. It doesn't seem like a complicated order, two McFlurries. Finally, at 10:37 PM, I get a message that the order has been canceled! This is honestly the worst McDonald's in the Netherlands. I recently stood in the drive-thru for 45 minutes for two ice creams, a burger, and some chicken nuggets.

What a terrible place! The order was neatly processed from McDrive, that crappy software went to hell, and the whole order went wrong, and all that for only 40 euros, including the wrong products. What a bargain!

Friendly staff, clearly understaffed. You can tell they're trying their best, but orders keep coming in, making the restaurant look a bit unsanitary. I hope they can hire more staff soon, because this restaurant really needs them.

Finally, I got my order through the drive-thru, but the cheese on my cheeseburger just isn't there. Really, sigh, when are you guys going to learn? And the temperature has been very mediocre compared to the last few orders.

What a crappy McDonald's! I went into the McDrive at 6pm and ordered several items at the pole, including a McCrispy without lettuce. I understand that these are peak hours and that it can take longer, especially with an adjustment to the burger. But after ten minutes of waiting I was simply directed to the parking lot. Finally I eagerly unpacked the McCrispy and took a bite. Unfortunately my taste buds were not positively surprised; they had given me a spicy McCrispy! Besides the fact that this was not what I had ordered, it was also ice cold. What a start! There was also a hamburger with this order. To my surprise it was very warm, but they had forgotten to add the meat! A sandwich with only cheese, pickles and sauce is not what I paid €3.95 for, is it? After this I started on the nuggets, still hungry. You would think... you can't mess up a chicken nugget... What turns out? This McDonald's can! The nuggets were tougher than I had ever had. Luckily I could have saved this with a good sauce, but when I got it I found out I had gotten mustard instead of my beloved sweet and sour sauce. In the end this visit turned out to be a total disaster. I had paid €21.35 to be just as hungry as before. Now you are probably thinking, this will be a one-off? But no! This is the umpteenth time that this kind of situation occurs. I have therefore decided to drive to Almere Haven from now on, since they can do it there. You would think that this is against the goal of McDonald's, wouldn't you? All this extra CO2 emission without any logical reason? I would like to see a solution for this one day, but my experience over the past five to six years is that it can only get worse.

Bad experience. 1) Workers don’t use gloves while packing your food. 2) The manager marks order as ready on the screen while they haven’t even started preparing it - causing confusion for everyone 3) the burger was overcooked and hard to chew 4) the ice cream was already on the shelf long before rest of the items were ready so we basically ate a shake

Today I picked it up I had to wait for a parking space she comes and calls my order I look in it and I am missing half. Never seen one so bad. A quick meal is not an option here. Nothing is cooked properly and 20% is not included. The staff have had no training and do their best but walk around the kitchen like a headless chicken. I don't understand why McDonald's isn't taking drastic measures here.

I've been here for 5 times, and always something was wrong!!! They are mixing all the time the orders, and also something will miss from your order, and if you are asking for something, be sure that you will get something else in return!

You think you can order via the McDonald's app. Apparently this doesn't get through? App indicates that it has not paid. Account debited. a nice now costs me 100,- because the manager does not see it in the system. hopefully as the manager indicates the order will be credited back to the account. All tables were dirty and we were not given napkins. The lid of the drink was not secured, causing the drink to fall over the food. We did receive compensation for that.

By far THE WORST McDonald's I have ever come across! I traveled quite a bit and tried McD's around Europe and across the US but this... They should just shut it down and apologise to anyone who ever made an unfortunate decision to give them a try. I also worked in McD's myself at one point so I know what this job is like and what it entails. FOOD: Cold, soggy, feels as if it was lying out for too long. Ice cream is 9/10 times almost completely melted. Simple reason, it is made as the first thing in the order instead of last. Fries, if you are lucky to get a full container, they will be cold and often unsalted (no, you don't get that as an option, they apparently decide that for you). Prawns, are so overdone if feels like you're chewing teastless rubber. SERVICE: All staff look depressed and annoyed at you for even coming in. It's painfully clear that they would much rather be on their phones and you are just interrupting them (that's actually what happened when I went back after my order was mixed up). ATMOSPHERE: It feels like a room full of teenagers who are angry at everything and everyone and who are forced to do something they just hate doing. Just to be clear, this is not based on 1-2 times, I ordered. My wife and I, we went there around 20 times at least across 1 year. I saw different faces, sometimes the same faces. They all have the same attitude and it really stinks. If you could taste their attitude, everyone would end up with a food poisoning and 3rd degree burns. I do apologise for misleading anyone who is reading this by giving that place 1 star but unfortunately there is no option of a 0 which this place so desperately deserves!

Milkshake was no longer available unfortunately. Fries were cold, but good enough if I was starving. It looked like the tent was closed, all the lights were off. The burgers were excellent. All in all, I wonder if I would come back.

Opening hours are incorrect, already the third time in a row that I am standing in front of a closed door and drive at 8:00 am. Last time they only opened after 8:30 am. Posted this at 8:10 am, an employee who walked outside indicated that they needed an extra 10 minutes before they could open.

Over the years, I have found the quality of freshly baked food to be lacking at this location where I used to enjoy visiting. The food is often overdue, limp, bland and not worthy of the amount I pay. In many cases, something was always missing from the delivery upon arrival at home, so I have learned to first check my order on the spot before I drive away, it doesn't matter to me whether there is a long line behind me or not. The managers need to keep a closer eye on their quality to give the customer value for her money. I often complain about the milkshakes, especially during hot/warm days. My tip and suggestion is to always only serve the Milkshakes at the second window when the customer is there no matter what! This is often tapped well in advance and it is no longer a shake by the time it is handed to the customer

Oh oh oh, this place has deteriorated incredibly. Food quality is poor. You get fries cold or they are the last ones out of the bag. With the burgers, the ingredients are thrown on top of each other and it comes into the box as a big mess without any love. Orders (mcdrive) are regularly given incompletely, meaning you have to go back inside twice. And just now there was no change, so I got less back than what I should have gotten back & then the message: can't you just pay the rest by card? At the next window you get your bag in your hands & can't say good day or a nice evening. I don't know who has become a manager now, but really, you should be ashamed and close the tent. It's just outrageous.

The drive-in is preferred. If that is not possible: Go inside. Order. To wait. Take away. Get outside quickly.

Almere branch outside one of the worst in Flevoland. Poor service. (unmotivated staff) Food cold after reporting no response. Voucher machine empty and not refilled even though there were enough staff. I will never come to this lolatie again.

Bad bad bad. A few times it's still closed at 8:15 when it's supposed to be open at 8:00. Drive in, which is supposed to open at 7:00 am, is also closed. In the end we received good help and a nice breakfast. Please adjust your opening hours if you cannot fulfill what is indicated on the entry
