McDonald's in Wijk 03 Almere Buiten

Seriously, I ordered at 8:55 PM. It doesn't seem like a complicated order, two McFlurries. Finally, at 10:37 PM, I get a message that the order has been canceled! This is honestly the worst McDonald's in the Netherlands. I recently stood in the drive-thru for 45 minutes for two ice creams, a burger, and some chicken nuggets.

They had just closed, ordered something through the drive-in and ate in the parking lot, not a pleasant atmosphere

What a terrible place! The order was neatly processed from McDrive, that crappy software went to hell, and the whole order went wrong, and all that for only 40 euros, including the wrong products. What a bargain!

Friendly staff, clearly understaffed. You can tell they're trying their best, but orders keep coming in, making the restaurant look a bit unsanitary. I hope they can hire more staff soon, because this restaurant really needs them.

Finally, I got my order through the drive-thru, but the cheese on my cheeseburger just isn't there. Really, sigh, when are you guys going to learn? And the temperature has been very mediocre compared to the last few orders.

What a crappy McDonald's! I went into the McDrive at 6pm and ordered several items at the pole, including a McCrispy without lettuce. I understand that these are peak hours and that it can take longer, especially with an adjustment to the burger. But after ten minutes of waiting I was simply directed to the parking lot. Finally I eagerly unpacked the McCrispy and took a bite. Unfortunately my taste buds were not positively surprised; they had given me a spicy McCrispy! Besides the fact that this was not what I had ordered, it was also ice cold. What a start! There was also a hamburger with this order. To my surprise it was very warm, but they had forgotten to add the meat! A sandwich with only cheese, pickles and sauce is not what I paid €3.95 for, is it? After this I started on the nuggets, still hungry. You would think... you can't mess up a chicken nugget... What turns out? This McDonald's can! The nuggets were tougher than I had ever had. Luckily I could have saved this with a good sauce, but when I got it I found out I had gotten mustard instead of my beloved sweet and sour sauce. In the end this visit turned out to be a total disaster. I had paid €21.35 to be just as hungry as before. Now you are probably thinking, this will be a one-off? But no! This is the umpteenth time that this kind of situation occurs. I have therefore decided to drive to Almere Haven from now on, since they can do it there. You would think that this is against the goal of McDonald's, wouldn't you? All this extra CO2 emission without any logical reason? I would like to see a solution for this one day, but my experience over the past five to six years is that it can only get worse.

Bad experience. 1) Workers don’t use gloves while packing your food. 2) The manager marks order as ready on the screen while they haven’t even started preparing it - causing confusion for everyone 3) the burger was overcooked and hard to chew 4) the ice cream was already on the shelf long before rest of the items were ready so we basically ate a shake

Whether you are in the drive or the restaurant they can never give you your complete order. Today I picked it up I had to wait for a parking space she comes and calls my order I look in it and I am missing half. In the end I thought I had everything we ordered 2 cheeseburgers also comes in a nice cheeseburger bag around it what is in it hamburgers this is really the last time. Last time also forgot half you go back you get a big mouth too.

Good experience and I always visit whenever in Buiten. Plenty of seating arrangement! Customer service can improve a bit as most of the time order has to be taken at counter

Atmosphere was not nice at all. Staff did not seem to like it that much. Service was equal to the atmosphere.

The McDrive here is mega slow. Even when it is quiet in terms of cars it takes about 10/15 minutes to get through.

Staff turned off the lights while we were still upstairs without any warning. I really don't think that's right.

I was standing at the counter for a while and the entire staff just stared at me acting like I inconvenienced them. No one ever came over to talk to me, so I left. Dont waste your time.

mcflurry comes with barely any topping! its all cream no topping. they made it so fast, maybe next time put some effort in it. service is not so great.

One of the worst McDonalds ever. Always making mistakes. Forgetting things and if you want to report it you have to wait another 10 minutes so your other food is already cold and they don't believe you when you come with a complaint. It also takes forever. Definitely not fast food

Never seen one so bad. A quick meal is not an option here. Nothing is cooked properly and 20% is not included. The staff have had no training and do their best but walk around the kitchen like a headless chicken. I don't understand why McDonald's isn't taking drastic measures here.

What a mockery, quarter pounder is extremely small, tasteless and far too expensive... or is there already an import tax on this? Service, none, just order your meal on a screen, waste bins full... what a shame... well, say hi to Donald, good luck...

I've been here for 5 times, and always something was wrong!!! They are mixing all the time the orders, and also something will miss from your order, and if you are asking for something, be sure that you will get something else in return!

Always busy and high waiting time

Messy, food, packaging, napkins and receipts left everywhere. 10 minutes of waiting time while they were just chatting, receiving cold food... in short, close this monkey hell because this makes no sense.

You think you can order via the McDonald's app. Apparently this doesn't get through? App indicates that it has not paid. Account debited. a nice now costs me 100,- because the manager does not see it in the system. hopefully as the manager indicates the order will be credited back to the account. Stay away from mcdonald Montrealstraat 120 like fr, we got rotten tomatoes plus the service is super bad like i’m not even mad matter of fact i think it’s sad cuz i saw kids there and all but the food is bad, fries were sour plus the Oreo frappe huge joke it was soggy disgusting.

All tables were dirty and we were not given napkins. The lid of the drink was not secured, causing the drink to fall over the food. We did receive compensation for that.

Orders always incomplete. Now the 6th time I have to go back, so now worth a review. While you expect it shouldn't be that complicated. When I go to get my missing items often an attitude. And exchanged for cold food. Very bad.

By far THE WORST McDonald's I have ever come across! I traveled quite a bit and tried McD's around Europe and across the US but this... They should just shut it down and apologise to anyone who ever made an unfortunate decision to give them a try. I also worked in McD's myself at one point so I know what this job is like and what it entails. FOOD: Cold, soggy, feels as if it was lying out for too long. Ice cream is 9/10 times almost completely melted. Simple reason, it is made as the first thing in the order instead of last. Fries, if you are lucky to get a full container, they will be cold and often unsalted (no, you don't get that as an option, they apparently decide that for you). Prawns, are so overdone if feels like you're chewing teastless rubber. SERVICE: All staff look depressed and annoyed at you for even coming in. It's painfully clear that they would much rather be on their phones and you are just interrupting them (that's actually what happened when I went back after my order was mixed up). ATMOSPHERE: It feels like a room full of teenagers who are angry at everything and everyone and who are forced to do something they just hate doing. Just to be clear, this is not based on 1-2 times, I ordered. My wife and I, we went there around 20 times at least across 1 year. I saw different faces, sometimes the same faces. They all have the same attitude and it really stinks. If you could taste their attitude, everyone would end up with a food poisoning and 3rd degree burns. I do apologise for misleading anyone who is reading this by giving that place 1 star but unfortunately there is no option of a 0 which this place so desperately deserves!

So bad, can't handle the crowds. It didn't look good and that's putting it kindly. I had indicated to eat there, they throw it in bags, you say we eat here they throw two trays with it. If you ask for a manager you get a big mouth from a lady who is not a manager and says that she is. A manager comes who doesn't know the answer at all Food cold, very dirty, unfriendly And then I do a lot for my child, child in tears because the food didn't look good and was cold. Only MC drive experience, but that often goes wrong, but above all it takes so long! And that is after you have already ordered and paid. Then it is often not right, but because you have waited so long you just leave it at that.

Milkshake was no longer available unfortunately. Fries were cold, but good enough if I was starving. It looked like the tent was closed, all the lights were off. The burgers were excellent. All in all, I wonder if I would come back.

Opening hours are incorrect, already the third time in a row that I am standing in front of a closed door and drive at 8:00 am. Last time they only opened after 8:30 am. Posted this at 8:10 am, an employee who walked outside indicated that they needed an extra 10 minutes before they could open.

Classic MC, everything as it should be

Over the years, I have found the quality of freshly baked food to be lacking at this location where I used to enjoy visiting. The food is often overdue, limp, bland and not worthy of the amount I pay. In many cases, something was always missing from the delivery upon arrival at home, so I have learned to first check my order on the spot before I drive away, it doesn't matter to me whether there is a long line behind me or not. The managers need to keep a closer eye on their quality to give the customer value for her money. I often complain about the milkshakes, especially during hot/warm days. My tip and suggestion is to always only serve the Milkshakes at the second window when the customer is there no matter what! This is often tapped well in advance and it is no longer a shake by the time it is handed to the customer

Oh oh oh, this place has deteriorated incredibly. Food quality is poor. You get fries cold or they are the last ones out of the bag. With the burgers, the ingredients are thrown on top of each other and it comes into the box as a big mess without any love. Orders (mcdrive) are regularly given incompletely, meaning you have to go back inside twice. And just now there was no change, so I got less back than what I should have gotten back & then the message: can't you just pay the rest by card? At the next window you get your bag in your hands & can't say good day or a nice evening. I don't know who has become a manager now, but really, you should be ashamed and close the tent. It's just outrageous.

The drive-in is preferred. If that is not possible: Go inside. Order. To wait. Take away. Get outside quickly.

Almere branch outside one of the worst in Flevoland. Poor service. (unmotivated staff) Food cold after reporting no response. Voucher machine empty and not refilled even though there were enough staff. I will never come to this lolatie again.

Again not open at 8:00 am, you stand there peeking at the window, staff looks back but does nothing. Only after almost 10 minutes does someone come open the door with a text: we are trying to be open on time, it is only 8 minutes. Another drive in CLOSED!!! Ridiculous again, no improvement

Bad bad bad. A few times it's still closed at 8:15 when it's supposed to be open at 8:00. Drive in, which is supposed to open at 7:00 am, is also closed. In the end we received good help and a nice breakfast. Please adjust your opening hours if you cannot fulfill what is indicated on the entry

It's McDonalds. I prefer to walk in and order in peace. Extremely pricey without coupons. So far we have not had any problems with forgotten products when ordering and you can wait patiently for your food. The extended opening hours are ideal.

We ordered through Thuisbezorgd, a large portion of fries half empty, drinks not secured with tissues (as they should be done in delivery) so all the cola spilled in the bag. The food was generally half cold and we waited an hour for delivery. As a former McDonald's employee it is unthinkable for me to let such an order go. You should re-train the service and the person responsible for these fries, because I did not spend 53€ for fun. PS. While eating another problem encountered - dry, flat and hard nuggets which is a sign of too long keeping in oil and then too long keeping in UHC (a cabinet with drawers to maintain the meat temperature, the meat can be stored for a maximum of 20 minutes, then it should be disposed of, they probably sat there for 40). People, what's wrong with you.

The experience was extremely dissatisfying. Despite the presence of numerous employees, it seemed that most were more concerned with keeping an eye on each other than actually working. The staff came across as lazy and unmotivated, with a complete lack of effective supervision. Ordered in. Room is dirty and untidy, stains on the floor and trash lying around. Order was for take away. The only thing that was up to temperature was the coffee. Burgers and wrap were lukewarm. Packaging of the burgers was also poor, half in the packaging and the buns pushed apart, leaving your hands immediately covered in sauce/fat. Staff was mainly concerned with each other, without paying attention to the customer.

Just ordered big mac + hamburger + chili chicken and I only got my big mac with meat. The rest of the sandwiches were without meat/chicken but with lettuce and sauce?????. A disappointment if you are already too far away to drive back. Called 5 times, not available. Ridiculous and theft!! In addition, there was a large black hair in my big mac. This McDonald's is absolutely *horrible*! They have no respect for speed or efficiency whatsoever! The wait times are ridiculous! There is plenty of movement behind the counter, but the food just doesn't come out of the kitchen. It seems like they are just sitting there waiting until they are finally ready to bring your order. And seriously, that Mac Drive? What chaos! You really have *no* overview, everything just goes in slow motion. It's like a gang of incompetent employees who have absolutely no idea how to do anything quickly and well. And then worst of all: the customers are simply ignored. People stand there at the counter, waiting for their turn, but they get nothing! They just come there for a simple order and are simply not helped. There was even a customer who wanted to order, but the employees couldn't even be bothered to listen to her. What are they doing? They say they have to work with a different device. *Really?* This is the level we are at now? Oh, and it doesn't end. People came back for *cold* fries, and that was resolved slowly. Not even a little bit of a rush, no sense of urgency at all! They really just stood there wasting their time while the customers waited in annoyance. What's really shocking is that there is no cooperation at all between those people there! Everyone just seems to be biding their time. They stand there like robots, waiting for their shift to finally be over. No effort, no energy, just a bunch of people not interested in their work. It's *ridiculous* how this McDonald's runs. Really, this is the last time I come here!

If you arrive at the door at 8:07 am, they are still closed. Plenty of staff in the store. According to them, it opens at 8:00 am. Worthless

They were just talking to each other while there was a very long line, meanwhile the employee also asked what order we had. In addition, we were waiting almost an hour, which is not normal. Hire more people or put the employees who work longer at the drive thru when the jet is busy.
