What a disgrace this McDonald's is. Had to wait 45 minutes for our order, asked twice where it was, lost the receipt twice. The staff are working their socks off bringing the orders to the table. And as a customer, you actually have to pay to use the toilet 🤣

Double cheeseburger, fries on the side – it was really super tasty! Thanks for the delicious food and the warm hospitality. No matter which city I am in, I can always pop into a McDonald's for a familiar and fresh bite. It's just always good!

It was the worst McDonald’s I have ever been to in my life. The food was undercooked, the fries were soggy, cold, and completely undercooked, the burgers were cold, the ice cream had been sitting out too long so it had melted, and it took a very long time to take the order. All this while it wasn't busy.

My girlfriend had ordered at 15:12, we had already waited 20 minutes, so I went to ask. And we only got the order now, at 4:09, because we mentioned it.

Took 18min for a single cheeseburger. Insanely slow service. Restaurants serve proper food faster.

Everything was a disaster! The only good thing is when you leave, because you rethink your junk food habits. The employees seem to be competing to see who can do the worst job.

Honestly, the worst McDonald's I've ever eaten at: the food was cold, the staff had less energy than I do on a Friday after a 10-hour shift standing up, and the wait for my order was incredibly long. I absolutely do not recommend it! The music was nice, though; that's the only good thing about it.

You forget my sauce with my order every time. I have already called about this, but it keeps happening.

I waited precisely 25 minutes for two hamburgers. In this waiting time I've witnessed 1) at least 2 costumers complaining because they received a wrong order; 2) almost no orders coming out from the kitchen; 3) multiple people exasperated by the waiting time asking about their orders, to which the waiter would immediately respond by giving them an already made hamburger from a pile. I've never had such an awful experience in my whole life at a McDonald's. Because of time constraints I almost left without even getting my meal, waisting my money. I feel very uncomfortable complaining online about the service of a minimum wage worker, but the situation in this restaurant was really absurd and can only explained with the absolute laziness of the workers.

My children were there and we just saw a man lying there drinking and sleeping soundly. We tried to order something but couldn't manage to; the food wasn't good and the atmosphere wasn't nice.

Waited 25 minutes. Part of the order sat on the counter for over ten minutes because it was incomplete, and as a result, that food was cold. This was presumably caused by a leaking problem in a fryer. It didn't look good, but there was a very friendly lady who did her very best to ensure fresh, hot burgers and prepared everything lightning fast without getting stressed. We were also in a rush because we had a train to catch. Without this employee's efforts, it would have been a one-star review, but this lady clearly showed that she didn't want the customer to leave disappointed and visibly cared deeply about the customer; many thanks for this.

Generally everything is fine. However, the website states the opening time is 8:00, but unfortunately in reality we could only enter at 9:06.

First time I am asked to pay to access the wc even if I am a client. Is this legal? I have strong doubt. The woman forbidding access requested payment arguing these are not Macdonald wc while holding the Macdonald sign. Also 20min waiting outside of rush hours for a simple menu.

Firstly, the wait for your order is incredibly long. The food comes cold or reheated. Orders are mixed up and not refilled. The cheese on the burger is dry and not melted. Drinks that should be cold are served warm, without ice, or with melted ice. Coffee comes without sugar or cookies. The staff is not in uniform. When you try to pay for your order at the register, they ignore you and walk on by. I do not recommend this establishment!

Why should I have to pay to use the restroom? I order food here and don't I have the right to use the restroom for free? The woman who's supposed to clean the restroom actually just sits on a chair, eats chips, and takes money, while the restroom is dirty and broken. McDonald's doesn't have the money to pay this woman, so why should customers have to do this?!

This McD has become so bad. The crew works without efficiency. Because of this it takes ages to get your food and its always luke warm at best. It's bs waiting 15 minutes for 2 cold cheeseburgers!

Why do I have to pay extra to use the bathroom????? And when I asked if I could pay with card why did your employee ask me MULTIPLE times if I have a Dutch bank sccount when I already said I have one MULTIPLE times. Doing all that just for 0.50 cents…? Felt racist in all honesty. Don’t come here.

The hamburgers were really bad!

We ordered 2 menus at 16:52. We didn't receive our food until 17:13. After I went to the male Floor Manager. First of all, the lobby was incredibly dirty. Busy or not, that is no reason for a garbage dump in your restaurant. The trash can was overflowing, and trays with all kinds of rubbish were practically on every table. Put someone in the lobby when you've had a rush hour. There was plenty of staff there. After receiving our food, we went outside. We sat down at a table there. I took the 2 hamburgers. They were old and cold. Sent them back. Received new hamburgers. No pickles, exactly 3 blanched onions, and the bread torn. Sent them back again. And told them to dress the hamburgers correctly. The manager came with apologies and asked if we wanted anything else. I said no, and then promised the burgers would be made correctly. For the third time, at least, third time's the charm, right? You guessed it: no blanched onions, no pickles, and hardly any sauce. Now I was really fed up! I am also going to forward an official complaint. Because the employees here, including the floor managers, need to be properly trained. I will also pass this on in a sense, Ruud van der Velden.

Very bad experience. There was a homeless man sleeping in the restaurant with a beer, while children were also walking around. Then I had to wait another ten minutes for my order and received a Big Mac without cheese. Additionally, the restaurant was incredibly dirty; there was trash everywhere and the bins were overflowing. I will certainly not be coming back here.

We ordered an Orange Sundae and a milkshake. The staff were completely overwhelmed. Orders displayed in the "preparation" area were quickly deleted, presumably to improve their statistics. Our order was simply forgotten. We inquired after half an hour. After quickly glancing at the receipt, a Caramel Sundae was hastily made and handed to me. I had to ask for the milkshake. As soon as we left the restaurant, we realized that the sundae had caramel sauce instead of orange (as ordered). We went to this McDonald's after similarly bad experiences at another nearby location. Our experience at McDonald's in The Hague was very disappointing.

Even 1 star is too much; we ordered 2 Sundays. After waiting for 45 minutes, our patience really ran out and we complained. We didn't even get an answer, and the ice cream was placed right in front of us, and she just walked away. The person was extremely grumpy, and some got angry if you filed a complaint. The managers don't have the place under control; the restaurant was dirty. Employees leave drinks and food sitting for 15 minutes before finally announcing them so quietly you can't hear it. People were given cold and old food, and a restroom attendant touches you even though you only handed something to them outside the toilet??? Worst McDonald's everttt, that you are still allowed to be open? 50+ people were waiting for their order; staff find their phones more important than their customers.

🍔🍟 I recently visited the McDonald’s on Turfmarkt in The Hague. The Big Mac was fine, but personally, I found the sauce a bit on the sour side 😕🥄. For me, that took away a bit of the familiar taste experience I normally expect from a Big Mac 🍔. 🪑🏙️ Furthermore, there was plenty of seating available, both inside 🏠 and outside ☀️🪑. It was quite quiet at the time of my visit, which was possibly also because the city itself wasn't very busy 🚶‍♂️🚶‍♀️. That did create a relaxed atmosphere 😌. 📍A big advantage is that there is another McDonald’s located in the center of The Hague 🍟🍔. As a result, visitors seem to spread out well 👥➡️👥, meaning it doesn't feel overcrowded here quickly ⏳👍. 🌿 Sitting outside is definitely an option when the weather is nice ☀️🌳. There are plenty of spots available inside 🪑, but I don't think there is a seating area upstairs 🚫⬆️. 💡 Tips for visitors: 🚆 Are you coming by public transport? Then this location is very convenient due to its central location. ⏰ During quieter hours, you usually get your order quickly. 🌤️ Sitting outside is highly recommended when the weather is nice. 📱 Ordering via the self-service kiosks can save time. 🚶 Are you in the city center and is it busy here? Then the other McDonald’s in the city center is a good alternative. ⭐ All in all, a neat and quiet location with plenty of seating and a convenient location. The Big Mac sauce was a bit too sour for me, but otherwise a fine visit. 🍔🍟😊

There are few waiters, the waiter walks around sweeping and delivering orders, they prepare the order for a very long time, I waited 30 minutes for the order, they don't always give you sauces, which ones you take, straws or napkins, the toilet for visitors should be free, although it's not much, 0.50 cents, but to pay with cash you have to wait because there are few staff and they help with the order, and you stand and wait for them to take your order, the pigeons come in on Wednesday, the staff doesn't care

Food and service are ok, but you are not allowed to use the toilet for free, even when you are a buying customer. The worst part is that you are harassed by a random woman to pay for the toilet, who is not even dressed as an employee, and if you don’t have cash she takes the payment in her own phone (???).

Slow, took forever for anything to come out. For 5 minutes nothing came out, not one thing, no drinks nothing. The dining area was messy and dirty. The people who worked there looked like they were doing things but ever so slowly. Also they charge for bathroom use, even if you buy somethingna sham.

Its a great place however if you have kids most McDonald's here do not have like a play in facility for the kids. Apart from that I thought it was nice and the people were kind to answer all questions that needed clarity.

I don't go to McDonald's very often anymore; it's usually disappointing. But on a hungover Sunday, I walked in again anyway. The McChicken was lukewarm, the lettuce brownish, and the bun had a black edge on the top half. The fries weren't fresh either; it looked like all the leftovers had been reheated in the deep fryer. The bottle of water, however, was as it should be. The restaurant was also very dirty. All the trash cans were overflowing, and it was a struggle to find a clean table.

It took more than 20 minutes to get my order; the restaurant was half empty. The whole place looks grubby, and I think someone threw the entire salt shaker over the fries. That was disgusting.

All places were dirty, food took a very long time to arrive, but was fine as expected. Really a filthy mess and harder work needs to be done.

What irritated me most was that you can't go to the restroom unless you have cash. There's a woman sitting there, collecting money (only cash) without any cash register. I tried paying with a card, but she couldn't create a QR code. Disgusting! I understand the concept of pay toilets, but only if you can pay! I said I didn't have cash, and she just threw up her hands. Excuse me, what's that? 🤨

It was around 12:30 PM on Saturday. I was hesitant to enter because of the bad reviews, but the taste was just as good as in Japan. I ordered a Quarter Pounder, which they also sold in Japan for a while. I received my order about 5 minutes after ordering. Why are the reviews so bad? Maybe it depends on the staff shift?

A small order of 2 Happy Meals and 5 small burgers, but we had to wait 30 minutes for it. People around us who arrived and ordered later received their food within 5 minutes. We just sat there waiting, while four employees were making jokes and chatting with each other right in front of us. I walked over to them twice, but received no normal response. After about 30 minutes, we finally received our order, but it turned out to be wrong as well. We received different Happy Meals than ordered, and burgers and sauce were missing. No proper apology was offered, and the problem was not resolved properly either. There is clearly something wrong with the staff at this location. Unpleasant atmosphere, very poor service, and after waiting 30 minutes, we were served cold food. Very disappointing experience.

After a fun day out, the kids wanted to eat at McDonald's, which was supposed to be a pleasant visit. We ordered two Big Macs, one of which was forgotten. We had to wait a long time for our food. My daughter had ordered a caramel sundae, but received an orange sundae. Then my daughter needed to use the restroom; unfortunately, she only had a debit card in her pocket and no phone, which was dead after a whole day at Duinrell. You could only pay for the restroom via Tikkie or cash. The restroom attendant was completely unfriendly and unhelpful; eventually, after a lot of effort, she was allowed to use the toilet. The attendant was uninterested and on her phone the whole time, and the paid restroom was dirty!

I paid 33 euros for the order and the staff don't even know what the “restaurant code” on the receipt means. And you even have to pay to use the toilet if you want to wash your hands. Scandalous!

It was busy, I had paid for a reusable cup. In the end, I got a non-reusable one….🤬

We had very few good experiences the last time we were there. We ordered food at 20:15. We received our food around 20:45/20:50. Only to be told by the manager at 20:55 that they were closing in 5 minutes! I indicated that I would leave once I had finished my food. I can't help it that they took so long to prepare my order! Also, the floors looked terrible; all the trash cans were overflowing with full trays scattered around them. The photos are of one bin, but all the bins were like that. The restroom attendant is also very unfriendly. You express an opinion and she starts a whole argument and walks over to the manager. I thought you had the right to your own opinion in the Netherlands??

Unfortunately, the hamburgers were terrible. The meat had no taste and was sour. Even though we ordered a larger portion, the hamburgers and fries were standard size. We couldn't find a clean table; we ate among the trash left by previous customers. This will probably be my last visit here.

We went to this McDonald’s to have some food for our 7h train ride back to Germany and we got there at 09:50 am and our train was leaving at 10:10 am, so we ordered and I kept seeing the employees talk to each other and for some reason move very slowly so naturally I mentioned we don’t have a lot of time since our train was coming soon, the worker said it won’t take long. Then it was 10:05 am and our food still wasn’t ready and the way back to the central station was 5 min. Since we paid 20€ for our food we didn’t want it to go to waste and at 10:06 am it was ready and we started sprinting to the central station, on the way the paper bag ripped I lost all of our damn food and when we finally made it to our platform we saw the train leave in front of us. Very bad service, extreme laziness even after I told them nicely that we are in a rush. This just really makes me sad since I usually had good experiences with McDonald’s, at least in Germany so maybe that explains it.

Very disappointing and unacceptable experience. I placed my order at 18:54 and only received part of it at 19:16, which is a waiting time of over 20 minutes. My child had already been standing at the counter for around 10 minutes and was completely ignored. When I approached myself, I waited another 8 minutes while people who arrived later were served first. When I raised this issue, the staff member who identified himself as the manager claimed that other customers had been waiting longer and therefore were served first. I suggested checking the system or cameras to verify the order, but he refused and said he had no time. The chocolate cake we eventually received was overheated and leaking, so it was not edible, and we had to leave it. What is most concerning is that when I asked for a simple apology to my child, he refused. This shows a serious lack of professionalism, fairness, and basic respect for customers. I expect this issue to be properly addressed

It's really annoying to have to come to McDonald's, eat something, and then have to pay a lady to clean up after you. There are many ways to do things, and this isn't the most common one, When I see that the toilet is all dirty... They talk so much about hygiene, and the toilet paper is right next to the toilet?? Horrible experience. I don't recommend anyone go here! You come to a place expecting to eat, but they charge you an extra €0.50 to wash your hands... and I'm not even talking about the restroom. I ordered food on the spot, but for some reason they brought my food in a paper bag. What's more, my food was upside down in the bag. They carelessly tossed it on the table, as if to tell me to take it and get out. Terrible service, unfriendly employees. Avoid this McDonald's.

This place is a joke. Everything is dirty in here, food on the floor, the whole place stinks. I added carrots to my order, went to the counter because they gave me apple instead of carrots, they didn’t care told me they don't have carrots anymore, I payed for carrots. The double big tasty looks disgusting. Never again.

This is the second time my order has been wrong. The first time, I was short a burger. The second time, I received someone else's order and only realized it when I got home. When I returned, I received my order and was told that my incorrect order had simply been delivered without being remade. Even though I had been gone for over five minutes. Mine, too, appeared to have been returned by someone, judging by the half-baked fries.

The truly worst McDonald's in all of The Hague and surrounding areas. You'd think there'd be some improvement over the years, but you guys at McDonald's Turfmarkt still manage to leave almost half the order untouched. Moreover, it always takes at least twice as long to receive your food here as it does at Spui. Do yourself a favor and go to McDonald's Spui instead.

I think The Hague is a sweet city, and they rightly took away our mayor. Even the McDonald's at the new Turfmarkt can handle a 45-minute AI video featuring a cat meowing for attention, keeping a toddler quiet. My phone actually charges. The service was really slow for a McDonald's, 30 mins from order. Order screen not working correctly to tell you your order is ready, the facility itself was filthy, all bins overflowing and not even that busy, floors covered in chips and straw wrappers.

Wait for 30 minutes and not get my order for one ice cream.

Honestly, the cleaning guy deserves a shout-out. He was the only one actually doing anything. Everyone else was just chatting, and we only got our food when we complained. Even then, it was incomplete, and it was clear it had been sitting there for a while. The cleaning guy was juggling multiple tasks and was very respectful. There were people who arrived before us and still didn't have their food. They also don't know how to properly arrange the orders on the food trays. And the manager himself was just sitting around doing nothing, and everyone else only moved when they saw a lot of people complaining. You should be grateful that the cleaning guy is still open. Terrible service, honestly.
