Just like most McDonald's, it's fine. What I didn't know is that the selection varies by location—for example, here they don't have vegetarian nuggets or burgers. They do have vegetarian McChickens and McKrokets. We received friendly service. Clean restrooms.

This finally brought back some nostalgia. McDonald's used to be great, with friendly staff and delicious food. They've got it right here. The food was quick and hot. The staff is welcoming and friendly. And everything was reasonably clean. Respect to the staff and management, keep up the good work.

Everything was fine except that one time 1 chicken nugget was raw

McDonald's is practically the same everywhere... So there's not much to complain about here. The only thing is the rising prices, which are outrageous. If you come with a family, you'll spend over €40 on snack bar food.

Faster service and everything looked neat. The coffee and cookies were delicious.

The umpteenth time I had a really cold Big Mac, even in the middle. Pretty nice place on the way home. But I'll definitely go to Winschoten next time; I've never had a cold or lukewarm sandwich there 👍🏻

Just got 5 mc lurries. When we got home it was a thin milkshake... We live less than 5 minutes away and normally there is nothing wrong.. Too bad

People came in later than us and got their food earlier, we waited 20 to 25 for our food, while we had 2 menus and a happy meal

We normally go to Stadskanaal or Emmen. There the fries are usually not or just cooked and without salt. Or, if the fries are good, the cheese is always next to the hamburger, in short, often a disappointment. Today to Veendam after a day of touring. A burger that could be on the billboards. And delicious!! Next time we will drive a bit further if we are craving a greasy snack. They clearly pay extra attention to quality here.

Antisocial expensive for lousy bad food. Almost 4.5 euros for a measly portion of fries with sauce 🤣 No, from now on just go to the local snack bar, much cheaper, better and decent portions.

Today (30.05.2025) I went to the Mac. Ambient temperature I would almost say around freezing point in the store. Man man it's cold in this building. Air conditioning or cooling system on freezing. Ordered two coffees with the menus. Served without sugar and milk, you ask an employee for this who brings it neatly, you can only stir the coffee with your finger. A bit of a shame this.

What you can expect from McDonald's. A very hospitable employee who could work in a real restaurant in terms of politeness.

It varies a lot how good everything is each time. Sometimes the paper around the food is completely soaked and other times it is dry. Always helped quickly and as far as you are in contact in the drive, friendly staff

Received the wrong order with the Mac drive. So we still went inside for a good order, but one half had become cold

The cleanest place where table and chairs are washed with soap. Absolutely friendly to the children (playground inside and outside, also table for the painting and with an animals mask ) . Cool , especially in comparison to German restaurants, this was great ! The children menu offers tomatoes cherry that was really good as one of the children does not eat pommes . This was my best experience to visit McDonald . Thank you! Especially I was impressed by the lady who made cleaning at our visit. Today at 13 o’clock, hard working and nice smiling and was ready to help

Well, it's a Mac. Kids become happy.

Super nice and children's friends branch. With games room for climbing. There was also something ready for painting. Clean and very friendly staff. Even with an Easter game.

From 5☆ to 2☆. What a mess! 2 big tasty's that are cold and dry. A hamburger sandwich where the hamburger is cold and so dry that it crumbles apart. Mc Kroket and the nuggets were only okay.

A McDonald that stands head and shoulders above the average McDonald. Very clean, the food is delivered hot to your table, clean toilets and plenty of parking in front of the door. In addition, employees who make the difference, super friendly and clearly visible.

Soft ice cream is watery and was already running when it was delivered, the cookie is very thick-walled and with a very narrow spout, so there is little ice cream and the taste is very boring. IceFrape has ever been better. Now Little coffee taste. And the paper straw was limp in no time.

Enjoy a nice coffee near the N33: easy to do. Spacious, both outside (parking) and inside. Fresh design and clean toilets. Coffee with apple pie served quickly. Excellent coffee. The apple pie served turned out to be -20C or thereabouts. With apologies upon request, exchanged for an (almost) defrosted copy. Hint: a little more attention to this is better.

Typical McDonald's, disinterested staff that radiates boredom and the food is mediocre. I had a McFlurry here for the first time, it was warm and the air conditioning was on so it tasted great.

Mc drive, among others Ordered 3 medium milkshakes, one vanilla, 2 strawberry. After coming home it turned out that they have no color or taste at all. All "whipped cream" flavor. Balls!

Impressions of this institution are very unpleasant! I waited for my order for 20 minutes, and after waiting I was told that this dish was not available (salad) and Chili chicken was also not given, I received some kind of bill and went home hungry. The next day, my husband went to the establishment to pick up yesterday's order, to which he was told what you will pay for, we were shocked, we started arguing. In the end, they gave us a salad with one cabbage and two tomatoes and that was it!!! For which we together spent €8 Chili chicken (((((((

It's a shame that the benches outside are not cleaned better/more often. Literally and figuratively got stuck on a bench. The tables were also not very clean. Staff were friendly

You go there for your grandson, but for price and taste you are better off going to a snack bar.

Nice McDonald's. We came here with my 13-month-old son. Bring your own jar, of course! I was able to heat these up in the microwave. There were no other containers to be found where I could put that in. So it was a hassle to feed my son. Dear McDonal's Veendam, drive to Action or Ikea and buy a few cheap containers that can go in the microwave. This will make many parents very happy.

All perfect, neat, nice and fast. Still one star less. Took about €9.25 new box and only with the Chicken Nuggets it was like biting into a berry and the liquid squirted out. Turned out to be oil on the inside of the windshield and on the dashboard. Never experienced this in over 38 years of eating chicken nuggets every week. Was also "under pressure" in the crust. A few corners were chipped off at first and nothing happened. Also wash boiling hot with oil.

I don't ever get food here myself because I live a very healthy life, but besides that mediocre/average service deu to the underage establishment and the workers don't seem to enjoy their jobs so a real laugh won't really happy. Really get the feeling they just want you to order, eat it up and get out so someone else can sit there. The atmosphere was well... It's a fast food chain so not very cool, welcoming or very "good" but I guess if you want to there is always the good mint tea they used to have if not still....

The cashier placed the wrong order and asked the female manager to change it. The female manager had a bad attitude and was very angry with the customer.

The food was delicious, but it was busy so the food took a little longer, but that didn't matter to me. Great place if you want something quick to eat.

Had a QuarterPounder menu yesterday. Fries tasty, Coke was good. However, the QP was too dry and the sandwich had been heated for too long. Tasted like a bite of shoe leather.

This 7:10 there are several people at the door who, like me, are now just driving to Hoogezand since they are already open 15 minutes before opening time... bad service, don't come there if you are on time in the morning

There have been several times where you order something and get something completely different. Once I ordered a quarder pounder, there was not a hamburger among them. If you take it back, they will make a new one for 5 quarter pounders of sauce in between. I'll drive a little further to a Mac where they have things straightened out

When they first opened it was chaos, many mistakes and they also gave a 2 star review. But now that everyone has settled in, it's not that bad. Yes, there are still a few mistakes here and there, but the staff is friendly, always busy cleaning and food arrives at a reasonable time. Other than forgetting the sauce (that happens everywhere sometimes), quite satisfied now.

5 stars for the food you expect from Maccie, because it is one of the better McDonalds restaurants in the area. The food is hot, the milkshakes are cold.

Relatively new location in Veendam. It is therefore still neat and clean on the inside. A nice number of ordering kiosks available, so you only have to wait at real peak times, but you can usually order immediately. By the way, they have also started something new that you can order directly at the table via the app, but I have not tried that yet. Quality of the food is somewhat variable. Occasionally dry buns pass by (as if they were left over from the day before) and the cleanliness of the burgers is very variable and seems to depend heavily on who is doing it. It seems that we still have some steps to take in training/managing the staff. Furthermore, overall it is a McDonalds and you know what to expect.

Veendam good friendly people food. excellent also customers were treated politely in the opposite part of the city canal they were treated rudely but really I am 63 and have been treated since I was 16. ready ..for you ..How terrible the whole thing was packed, it didn't look like a chicken burger under the sauce bun above and below sauce. fries, lots of salt, thick layer, just ... been to Veendam on Easter Monday with 7 people, 4 adults, 3 children, the same and friendly service that seated us and pointed out tables neatly clean, the food was fine, everything was perfect as desired, the ice cream was also completely good, we live on Stadskanaal, but what is the difference? day and night ...enlarge Mrs Hendriks
