We chose the chef's shared dining option: two vegetarian and two meat dishes. The online reviews were glowing, so expectations were high. This was so delicious! This restaurant deserves much more attention and more customers! The service was friendly and came exactly when we needed it. The tenderloin was one of the best I've ever had. As they say, "I don't want to brag, but we're known for it." Seriously, when your meat is this good, you can brag a little. Even the vegetarians had a delicious meal; they had an above-average selection. We'll definitely be back!

The food was incredibly delicious: butter chicken, sweet and sour chicken, and surf and turf. The service was super friendly, and the restaurant was beautifully decorated.

The only thing we were disappointed with was having to pay €4 for a carafe of tap water. That's not right; it should be free. The meal for four people cost €240. The food was very good, and the service was friendly. There were also plenty of vegetarian options.

Fantastic. The scampi was a bit overcooked, but the tenderloin was incredibly tender. The appetizers were also superb. Highly recommended!

Beautiful restaurant with a cozy atmosphere. I just find the orange wall a bit old-fashioned. The waitress and kitchen staff kept everything under control, despite the crowd. We didn't have to wait long, and the quality was top-notch. Highly recommended.

Ate there with my parents a few days ago. Wow, what a great meal! We ordered the chef's special for two people, which gave us a bit of everything. Everything was delicious. My parents have eaten there before and knew the owner; what a great man he is. Something went wrong with the order (it happens), but we were given a drink on the house. All in all, it was fantastic and I definitely recommend it. The only downside was that the food took a bit long to arrive.

We had a lovely meal outside on the terrace. The dishes were very tasty and the presentation was excellent. The service was very friendly. We will definitely be back for another meal.

We have been here twice and both times we chose the chef’s menu because we really like the combination of different cuisines. The first time when we ate here is doing my pregnancy, so I cannot have raw food. They provided really nice alternatives for my part. Since I cannot have steak, they serviced Teriyaki beef which is tasty. But when I try the steak during the second visit, have to say, the steak is so good that is tastier than Teriyaki beef 😋 Also since I cannot have tiramisu at the first time, they serviced a full bowl of ice creams as extra for me. Did not expect such big portion at all 😂 There only one thing caused me deduct one star on the atmosphere part is the half dead plant in front of the window and we were sitting next to it at the first time🙈might be good to change the plant.

What a wonderful meal we had last Saturday night at Meydani. The owner indicated that they are known for the best tenderloin/steaks in the area; personally I can only say that he certainly lives up to his name! The meat was of good quality and cooked incredibly well! Friendly staff and a nice atmosphere in the restaurant. We will definitely come back here!

I have just visited Meydani and I have to say that the food was great and the atmosphere in the restaurant was phenomenal. Everything looked clean and the menus were very well presented and presented. However, I have a few suggestions that could take their dishes to an even higher level. As a starter I ordered the fried chicken. Although the dish itself was very tasty, I found the sauce a bit too overpowering and therefore heavy. The chicken itself was excellently prepared, juicy and with a crispy and tasty crust. Unfortunately, the chicken was visually lost under the generous amount of sauce and microgreens, which made it seem as if the chicken was not the central element of the dish. My main course was the 290 gram tenderloin. The quality of the meat was fantastic: tender, well seasoned and excellently cooked. Unfortunately, the garnish was disappointing. Garnish should be like the clothing of a king, it should radiate prestige and grandeur. Here the tenderloin was clearly the king of the dish, but unfortunately the garnish seemed almost forgotten. This lacked seasoning and was also undercooked, which upset the balance of the dish. It seemed as if the garnish had been neglected or simply forgotten that it is just as important as the meat itself. Finally, I would like to mention that the wine, an Elegri Bianco DOC, was fantastic. This combination of Chardonnay and Sauvignon was wonderfully fresh and an excellent recommendation for the meal.

The food was excellent and the service was excellent. The tables are close together and that is partly why it is very noisy. The hallway to the toilets runs along the kitchen and is very slippery

Had a fantastic meal at Meydani. Really good dishes, prepared with love, attention and taste. Well taken care of by the staff, nice to have one fixed point of contact at the table.

Super restaurant with delicious food

Had dinner here with my girlfriend last week before traveling to Japan. We had a delicious meal, one of our best restaurant experiences ever.

we ate here with the whole family, overall it was a great evening out. but unfortunately with a few negative points.. First of all a few of us wanted the full shared dining experience, on the menu it says from 2 guests. until they suddenly said that it had to be for the entire table. (wasn't clearly stated on the menu) I was allowed to choose another dish myself which was very nice of them. we had made a reservation at 19:00: the second problem was that we had to wait at least 1 hour to 1:15 minutes for the starter. I understand that a Saturday is busy but you only get your starter at 20:15, that is really unbelievably long.. and the main course didn't arrive until 21:10 so almost 1 hour later. then you don't have your kitchen staff in order or make sure that fewer guests arrive at the same time. there were also a few people from the staff who didn't seem to be very keen or also thought it was too busy. they were friendly though. all in all i don't recommend coming here on the weekend, i think during the week it comes into its own more and can't handle the crowds.

Cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. We had shared dining with a large group, to celebrate our daughter's wedding. That was a great success and the food was delicious. Definitely recommended for a nice meal.

I live in Naarden and was told by my daughter that the atmosphere, service, staff AND the kitchen were good. I was there yesterday with two daughters and son-in-law and I can only say that the overall picture is correct! service kept an eye on the tables and replenished the tables as necessary. explanation of the dishes well and a kitchen that is great. it's a bit of a drive from Naarden but this restaurant is on my wish list

Didn't get the chance to even dine, as the waitress said they have to ask the cooker, and was then told us that we can not stay with a nonsense excuse. The place was more than half empty. It wasn't closing. Just wanted to look like expensive and preveleged place. But trully it is nothing out of ordinary. Definitely will not even try to come back.

I have been to this restaurant twice now and I must say that it exceeded my expectations. The atmosphere is cozy, the service is friendly and the food is delicious! The presentation also receives attention, the dishes are beautifully dressed. We will definitely come back more often!

Tonight there are 4 of us and we went to dinner The restaurant was completely full (Valentine's Day) The food is very tasty But we don't have a good feeling about it because we had to wait 1 hour and 15 minutes between the starter and the main course to wait!! The waitress indicated that something had gone wrong with the order, with an apology from her side At checkout we asked if anything could be done to compensate, but the owner did not want to do this because what the servers said was not true... Because of this we will not be going to Meydani again so soon Too bad the owner reacts like this!!

Chef's menu for 2. The food was very tasty but a bit expensive for what you get, we think. The starters and the tenderloin were our favorite.

Absolutely delicious food (tenderloin and salmon). We were there on a Monday evening, the restaurant was almost occupied. However, we had to wait an hour for our main course. This is really too long and is the reason we won't be coming back anytime soon. As an owner, I would opt for fewer reservations due to a lack of staff.

We had a really delicious meal there. We had the surprise menu, which is an absolute must. Everything from appetizer to dessert was great. Be sure to visit us more often. The only downside is that the place can be very noisy due to noise from guests. Perhaps adjust something with acoustics.

Recently enjoyed a fantastic evening at Meydani restaurant! Each dish was prepared with great care and attention by a top chef. The ingredients were fresh and the flavors perfectly balanced. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. An absolute must for those who love quality and hospitality.

We had a truly fantastic meal there. The very great service drew our attention to the chef's complete surprise menu. It was excellently explained what delicious food we were served. The chef also came by to inquire whether everything tasted good. Very attentive. We were the last to leave the restaurant and were greeted kindly. A great place in the center of Nijkerk where we will definitely visit again.

We actually wanted to go to Albertos, but we could only sit outside there, so we went to Meydani. We were really positively surprised and happy that we were there to eat. The food was really very tasty and all dishes were cooked exactly as requested. The starters were also very good. The prices are reasonable for the quality of the food. The service was excellent. The service was quick, attentive and courteous. The ambience also really appealed to us. We felt very comfortable. If we travel to Holland again we will definitely visit this restaurant again. It is definitely recommended!

Came here for the third time tonight having first been last month. The food just keeps getting better. The meat is all so tender and tasty as is the fish. The service is exceptional, the food amazing and the ambiance is really really nice. A huge accolade to the owners and the staff. We look forward to coming back.

Fantastically prepared and very well seasoned in terms of balance. The staff is also very friendly. My regular and only restaurant to eat delicious grill dishes!

Absolutely recommended!! Today we had a delicious meal for the second time during our three-day visit to Nijkerk. The starter, main course and dessert taste really great and are well prepared. The staff is friendly and will fulfill everyone's wishes. Too bad we come from the southernmost tip of the Netherlands, otherwise this would be our favorite restaurant. Eating out in Nijkerk for the first time. What a great restaurant, it was already completely full when we arrived, luckily we had made a reservation. We were immediately greeted and taken to the table. During our stay we never noticed from the staff that the restaurant was full. We were asked several times if everything was satisfactory. Apart from a mix-UP of the first drinks (neatly resolved), they served us well and made us feel welcome. The food was very tasty. It's nice that there is the option to order "shared dining" which gives you an overview of the menu. We really enjoyed the dishes we chose, they were delicious. We have more restaurants to try in Nijkerk (we live in Hoevelaken), but we will definitely visit this restaurant again

Very nice restaurant on the inside, now let's extend that atmosphere to the terrace. That deserves some attention, especially the planters. Weeds between the boxwood containers, deader than dead lavender in the containers. Food was hot. We had a bread platter in advance, but we missed the humus here. Mix grill and surf and turf taken. Everything wonderfully seasoned, buttery tender steak, fresh fries, great. Extremely friendly waiter.
