5 stars all around because good is just good!

Last Saturday, we ate there with a group of 22 people. It was delicious, beautifully presented, and the portions were huge. Everything was served simultaneously, even for 22 people. Kudos to the chefs and the super friendly hosts. And all for a reasonable price. We'll definitely be back! Highly recommended!

Always fun and delicious (lots of) food!

I had the garlic steak, but unfortunately, it wasn't very garlicky. And the meat was overcooked for medium, making it tough. When the waitress walked by with our appetizer and I went to the bathroom, I noticed the chef was already searing my piece of meat. Why? Then I understand the toughness. (We were the first guests, so I had no choice but to assume it was meant for me.)

We had a delicious meal here. My husband had the mixed grill, and I had a garlic steak. They were large pieces of meat and deliciously tender. (In the photo, there's a chicken breast and corn on the cob hidden under the sparerib.) Afterwards, we had Dame Blanche and a caramel feast. Also very tasty, with lovely soft-serve ice cream. Very friendly staff, and the decorations were festive for Christmas.

A friend and I spontaneously had a lovely dinner here on Saturday night. The Christmas decorations were beautiful and it was pleasantly busy. We had a delicious meal: the surf and turf and the fish and chips. Both were delicious. The service was very attentive, friendly, and very experienced. The desserts were also highly recommended. We had a wonderful evening!

We were here for the first time, but we'll definitely be back. The four of us had an excellent meal. Everything was great, the service, the speed, the food, and the tables were simply fantastic.

A nice and cozy restaurant with fast service. Delicious food. A bit pricey, but highly recommended. Deliciously tender tenderloin skewer. A bit too much raw vegetables. The mixed grill was also good, except for the chicken, which was a bit dry. We'd love to come back again.

Great restaurant! The atmosphere is good and it's always quite busy (so reservations are recommended). The staff is friendly and makes sure you have everything you need. Even if you sit at the far end of the restaurant, there's always someone there to serve you if needed. Some dishes can be a bit pricey per plate, but the location makes up for it.

It was very pleasant and the food was delicious! The hamburger wasn't quite right, but no problem, we got a new one right away! This one was great!

I recently dined at the Old Peppermill, and I have to say it was delicious. The service was friendly and efficient, and the restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere.

The service was reasonable; we weren't asked if we wanted anything to drink. My friend had the mushrooms as a starter: flavorless and lots of cheese. I had the chicken legs: tasty but very greasy. We both had the spare ribs: tasty but far too greasy. The coffee was good. But this is definitely not recommended.

Driven past many times and thought we must go, but today our first chance to do that! Delicious steak, ribs & salad! So much bigger inside than it looks from outside, and even though it was a busy evening, you didn’t feel overcrowded. Staff super friendly, attentive and that added to the lovely atmosphere.

Sat outside on the terrace, sheltered from the wind and bright sunshine, was wonderful. The service was excellent! A friendly chat and fast service. The food was good. The small portion of spare ribs was more than enough, along with the fries and salad. The meat fell off the bone; no need to gnaw on it... (a big plus for me 😅) Everything comes from the open kitchen with large BBQs. If you're on a bike or motorcycle, it's a good stop.

We had a wonderful meal with the two of us. There was one mistake on the receipt, but I left that as a tip since everything else was delicious. I would have liked to see a few more grilled vegetables with the meat; that would make the plate a bit fuller. But all in all, great staff and delicious food!

The service was terrible. We had booked a table for five, but we had to choose and arrange it ourselves. A few moments later, we had to move everything ourselves because we were blocking an exit. We had to ask for cutlery. I had to ask for a salt and pepper shaker, and the waitress, slightly irritated, remarked to me whether everything was to my liking. After our meal, she asked if everything was alright, and we commented that the garnish was rather dry and could have used some dressing, after which she reiterated that we should have asked for it. There was no dressing, vinegar, or anything like that on the table. In short, THIS waitress was definitely not customer-friendly. We won't be going back.

So kind people working in this place, I called them for reservation just thirty minutes b4 kitchen close and they accepted us , we were a group of 4 persons, we ordered the ribeye steak and the old pepper Burger all was great cooked perfectly. Highly recommended.

I wrote here nine years ago that it was our favorite restaurant at the time. Funny, because it still is. The spareribs here are, in our opinion, the tastiest in the Netherlands and abroad. It is spacious, there is something for the children to do, plenty of parking space, and a good choice of drinks with your meal (changing specialty beers). We still like to come here and hope to continue doing so for a long time.

I didn't think it was bad, but it wasn't great either, which is a pity that there were only fries, no baked potatoes, I didn't have a bowl of water to dip my hands for the spare ribs, 1 sauce wasn't much, and I'm not really satisfied.

The staff is friendly and helpful. A separate menu containing all the allergens in the food is available and can be served upon request! This means we have no problem putting together a gluten-free lunch! The food itself was absolutely delicious and the portions were great! My recommendation: nachos with cheddar cheese!

Very nice place where you can eat very well. We came here by chance because we were in the area and didn't want to spend an hour in a traffic jam going home. Delicious food, everything fresh and very well prepared. Mega tender tournedos and entrecote, extremely crispy fries and a delicious apple strudel for dessert! We were here around Christmas and everything was super nice and attractively decorated. The staff was also very friendly, friendly and relaxed. Even our dog was allowed to come along. If we are in the area again we will definitely come back!!

Very nice atmosphere and nice staff and the food came quickly, but the table was cleared slowly and empty glasses were not refilled quickly. Food was fine, I didn't really like my main course, but someone else probably did.

I came here more or less 'by chance', I was traveling with a buddy of mine, he looked at restaurants on the route, called to see if there were still 2 places available, sure enough, no problem. The atmosphere is friendly, not exaggerated, cozy. It may not be to everyone's liking or taste, but we thought it was fine. Friendly staff. I can only judge the onion soup and the spare ribs: both tasty. The spare ribs were so overcooked that the meat almost fell off the bones. Fine. The only thing that would have been different for me: a bowl of water with lemon or a damp cloth with the spare ribs. The napkin that came with it was fine, but not enough for the greasy fingers of the spare ribs. But the toilet was also great for washing your hands in between.

I had a mixed experience during my visit. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious, although it could have used a little more seasoning. The biggest problem was the lack of an option to reserve a table for one person via the website. When I arrived there were no free tables available and I was placed on a bar stool next to the toilet. This was not the fault of the staff, who did their best to find a solution, but it clearly points to a failure in management. Overall, the food and service were excellent, but better planning for solo guests would greatly improve the experience.

We had dinner here on Friday evening. It was super tasty. But the layout of the plate for the autumn menu was very sparse. We really missed the vegetables. I know you can order those separately, but I only had a pear and mashed potatoes. For the rest of hell, super great, delicious food

Fantastic restaurant! You will find the best carpaccio here. The atmosphere is very cozy and every season has its theme. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Good company is of course also important, a permanent location for good fish and meat. In short, highly recommended!

Good food for an affordable price

Nice place. Along a sometimes busier road. But you can easily park here in the spacious parking lot next to the restaurant. They have a large terrace and a fun bouncy castle for the children. Dogs are very welcome. The service deserves 10 stars. Very attentive. Everyone helps and runs fast! They have it completely under control and are happy to have a chat! We had a delicious meal and the cherry coupe is highly recommended!

Just good food. No fuss, but attention to the food and service

This nice Steakhouse restaurant is located on the edge of Hoevelaken. Because it is located along a quiet road, you can easily find it and there is plenty of parking space on site. It is quite spacious and you also have a lot of your own space, which we thought was a real advantage. It was also quite full, so it was a good thing we had made a reservation. Good sign it's popular here. We had a delicious meal and dinner here. There is a wide choice of meat, fish and vegetarian dishes. The service is also more than good and pleasant. We will definitely come back and recommend you.

We have been going to this restaurant for years...a decade and some ago it was awesome: then they changed owners and it's been ups and downs. After a other owner/kitchen staff change its pretty descent now. Even the kids have something to do on a big jump pillow outside
