Great place, the food is also delicious. A little more filling in the sandwiches would be appreciated.

While the lunch menu looks interesting, the meals itself are not really, also not in size. Not a fast place. It’s a worth giving it a try but would not go for lunch here regularly.

There are many restaurants where you can have lunch in Leiden, but none gives you such a warm welcome as MIDI marché. Lazaar and Brahim always make it a party and when you taste the food it feels like you are in Morocco for a moment.

Alles is echt echt echt lekker. Het personeel is echt echt echt supergastvrij. Fijne ongedwongen sfeer. Een plek om vaak terug te komen en dat doen we dus ook.

Great food with great service. When I saw all the food options I wanted to taste of each a bit and it was no problem — we got a plate with mixed oprions. Small business but big experience. 🫶🏻

I like to come here every few weeks for a nice lunch, the dishes are fresh, original and very tasty. There is something for everyone, vegetarian or with meat, sandwiches, wraps or dishes. The coffee and drinks are also highly recommended. It is also possible to take food home and select it at the cash register.

Midi Marché is a cozy and small eatery that you should definitely not miss. The sandwiches are tasty and well filled. The service is fast and friendly, making you immediately feel welcome. The price-quality ratio is excellent. The decoration of the place is very simple. It is a great choice for a quick and tasty meal. Definitely recommended!

I can’t speak highly enough of this restaurant. I had a beef dish with saffron couscous, peas, carrots, and fresh green beans, with grilled onions on top. I also had their Harira soup that was amazing. The food was fresh, the presentation was beautiful, the service impeccable, and to top it off it was very reasonably priced. I will visit again this trip and will eat there again every time I come back.

Great lunch sandwiches with good fillings. Beautiful fresh ingredients, it's always nice to look - and smell - in here. Friendly owner and nice service. One Walid or Sahara sandwich is enough for a great lunch even for a hungry person. Edit: had to decrease stars. The price for a sandwich has risen to such an extent in a short time that it is no longer realistic for an almost daily lunch like I was used to. Every now and then I took two, because why not... Well, at the moment because it costs almost 20 euros instead of around 10 like recently. Too bad, because I liked coming here.

Had something different from the usual lunch at a beautiful spot in the center of Leiden. Asian influences determine the choice on the menu and provide surprising dishes for a "cheese head".

The shakshuka was amazing, packed with flavor and together with the flatbread it was amazing. The sandwich definitely needed some sort of sauce, the chicken and toppings were good but it needed some punch. The soup was good.

A nice place where you can enjoy a tasty meal. Sit and enjoy or take it with you. Don't forget to order a juice with it.

Heerlijk eten, fijne sfeer en aardige mensen die je vriendelijk bedienen. Absolute aanrader voor als je gezond en gezellig even wat wil eten of wilt afhalen.

Unfortunately I didn't have a good experience there. Cutlery weren't clean and you could see food particles on the forks. The tray for the tea and even cup for serving tea wasn't clean too. I ordered tabbouleh salad however herbs and parsley were overused and tasted bad. With this plus dirty service, I hardly could eat and left. Very low service quality. Never eat there again

Ik woon al een tijd in Leiden en was hier vandaag voor eerst. Dat ik dit niet eerder gedaan heb! Tabouleh salade smaakte vers, goed op smaak, de medewerkers zijn onwijs behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Ik kom zeker terug en kan dit iedereen aanraden!

Nice selection of dishes, good quality. You do not need to wait long. Also plenty healthy choices available. Very affordable, excellent value for money.

Wij kwamen hier spontaan en per ongeluk terecht tijdens n bezoek aan Leiden vanuit Amsterdam. Een beetje een flashback naar Marrakech, ik had een lekkere linzensoep en mijn man een goede maat broodje met lekker beleg. Leuke sfeer en interessant menu, vriendelijke bediening

Cute little restaurant though a bit cramped. Some food options are excellent like the Shakshuka, but others like the Chicken Tagine are pre-made and stored in a warmer so a bit disappointing.

Een eerlijk restaurant met vele alternatieve broodjes en vegetarische opties! Personeel is vriendelijk en de sfeer is ook erg warm. Zeker een aanrader.

Heerlijk eten mediterrane maaltijden vers gekookt!

Gevarieerd menu met broodjes, salades, soep en tajine gerechten. Vers gemaakt en puur van smaak. Wat een fijne ontdekking in Leiden.

Heerlijk warm gerecht had ik. Zacht vlees en perfecte combinatie van smaken met de couscous, rozijnen en het vlees. Mijn vriendin had de Shakshuka. Een erg zout gerecht, maar we wisten dat niet van tevoren haha.

Goede service, goede koffie en goed eten. Hielden ook goed rekening met dieetwensen. Super! Alleen kon de hygiëne wel wat beter (vloer/toilet).

Op een drukke zaterdag gaan zitten voor een lunch. Heerlijk gegeten! Falafel was superlekker! Wellicht door drukte, maar tafel had een doekje overheen gekund. We komen zeker nog eens terug.

A nice restaurant that serves mediterranean food and sandwiches. They also have good teas and coffee selections as well. The food quality is good, fresh and tasty. The servers are very friendly and hospitable. The milieu is nice and relaxing too. Recommend the cafe.

We have been here few times now and the quality of the dishes has always been great, service too (which is something you don't give for granted, especially lately around Leiden). You can tell that the owner take great care of the ingredients' choice. We tried the tajines (almost all of them), dips and the couscous-salade. Highly recommended!

Encontramos este pequeño y lindo café / restaurante en nuestro último día en Leiden y disfrutamos de un muy buen café recién hecho por la mañana con una pequeña galleta. Realmente nos encantó el ambiente y las cosas, por eso tuvimos que volver y comprar un excelente salat fresco con muchas cosas diferentes y súper sabrosas para el almuerzo. ¡Todas nuestras expectativas se cumplieron! ¡Volveremos seguro! ++ Y obtienes descuento para estudiantes :)

We waren op weg om te shoppen en zagen een 'stoepbord' met de vermelding van dadeltaart. We waren aangenaam verrast: heerlijke taart; ook nog een super smakelijke citroentaart (Pinoli) en hele goede espresso. Aanrader!

Lekkere broodjes, echt even wat anders qua beleg en aankleding. Ze hebben ook de mogelijkheid om zelf een maaltijdsalade samen te stellen met allerlei verse producten. Ook glutenvrije opties mogelijk.
