Precio/calidad aceptable. Fácil aparcamiento. En conjunto, una experiencia muy agradable. ¡Volveremos!

Last night, August 2, 2025, I dined with friends at Dewi Sri. It was incredibly disappointing. First of all, the restaurant was quite empty. All evening, only the tables by the window were occupied; the rest remained empty. That was a sign, and we should have moved on! The food was very, very expensive for the price. We ordered four rijsttafels (two different rijsttafels) and also asked for extra satay/peanut sauce and some noodles. In total, we spent over €250. That's not a problem if the food is good, but it certainly wasn't. The rendang meat was very hard and tough. Chunks of meat that required a lot of chewing. The satay, especially the shrimp skewer, was very dry and underseasoned. The corn fritters were soggy from the oil, and the sweet and sour dip was just bottled chili sauce. The Sayur Lodeh was tasteless—it was just cooked beans, resembling frozen beans, briefly reheated in the sauce, with some other vegetables. The white rice served with it was too wet and soggy. The yellow rice was quite dry, but aside from its yellow color, it lacked much flavor. The noodles we ordered were small, as was the small container of satay sauce, which we had to pay a hefty price for. Two desserts for a total of €15 brought our drinks to around €65, meaning four wine orders, five soft drinks/water orders, one Irish coffee, two ginger tea orders, and one regular tea order. The food was mostly disappointing. We will never go back. Upon leaving, we asked for a peppermint. "Due to the holiday closure" from August 4, 2025, no more stock has been purchased. "So, the mints are gone!" we were told. Bizarre. What a disgrace. What we did receive as a "gift" was that we were reminded several times last night of our visit to Dewi Sri restaurant due to stomach problems. This restaurant is a bygone era. See you never again!
