Price quality is more than excellent. Food has a good taste. Service is good. The decor is not very attractive, but the food more than makes up for it.

Excellent Indonesian cuisine. Really tasty and fresh. Very friendly service. We were pretty much the only ones in the restaurant.

They have been at Groenendaal for so long and I had never been there. Excellent food, delicious pork satay. Nice service.

Delicious food and generous portions, really good value given eating out is not that cheap in Rotterdam. We ordered the 1 person kecil rice set menu which gives you a taster of quite a few things and I ordered a cabbage dishes with steamed brown rice. It was such a feast! The coffee and cake was delicious too, don't miss them.

waited a very long time for the food. you wait at least 1.5 hours and on a busy day 2 hours. don't order here.

In the store I heard from the employee that it was three euros more expensive because I picked up the food via home delivery.

Very good takeaway. I'll even take a detour for it. Everything freshly made, delicious satay with peanut sauce. Rendang with Nasi etc.

Personnel very welcoming and friendly. The waiting time was a bit long but the food was good. It lacks a bit of flavour for some meals, but it was still good. I recommend ☺️

Food is good. Lots of choice in vegetable and meat dishes, but vegetarian is also fine. Also enough variety and spiciness of the food. Too bad they are no longer at the Alexandrium Staff is short and businesslike. Could be friendlier, but does its job well. Food not exactly cheap, but certainly not too expensive for what you get. Haven't eaten in the restaurant yet so don't know what the staff are like there.

You have to create the atmosphere yourself

I have been coming to Papaya Groenendaal for the lempers for a number of years. The price has gone up considerably but the taste has deteriorated considerably. It's such a big disappointment now that I won't be coming back. If you're there, I wouldn't order lempers in any case.

Always tasty takeaway meals. Nice to be able to combine various combination dishes yourself. Certainly not expensive for the quality and portions.

We accidentally went through the take away door but asked to get seated and the pointed us to the other room. Came here on a Thursday night, fairly busy btu not too bad. We ordered a few things for dinner: Rames Special (Ajam Pedis, Daging Rendang, SG Boontjes, Gado Gado, SG Telor, Rempah-bal bali and a skewer of satay Ajam with prawn crackers, Atjar ketimun and seroendeng with White Rice), Spicy Seafood Schotel (Udang and Ikan with Tjap Tjoy), Ajam Pedis with Bami Goreng and lastly Daging Rendang with Bami Goreng. The food was really really good and especially for the price, really nice value. Everything was good that we ordered. Would recommend going here again.

Disappointment. Enjoyed eating there for years. Ramses' dish was now a plate full of dishes that were difficult to distinguish. Flat flavors, no depth. They once were authentic flavors, spicy. Now an overfull plate with much of the same. Shame.

I didn't feel like cooking today. This is why we went to Papaya. We opted for the rice table for 24.50 p.p. 2x. Unfortunately, the soto ajam soup was not well filled, it had no taste and was watery, the entire rice table was not freshly cooked and you can clearly taste that it came from the freezer and was heated up quickly. You should taste the fresh/aromatic herbs in these dishes. The prawn crackers weren't even freshly baked. You get prawn crackers from a bag that comes from the supermarket. Very unfortunate! We remain loyal to restaurant SAMALAIN in Rdam. Try it!!! Here you will be served everything fresh, including prawn crackers, and you will taste real Indonesian cuisine!!

We have been coming here to eat in the restaurant for years and when I am really hungry and don't have much time I go for takeaway. This is the only Indian restaurant and takeaway where my family celebrates their birthdays. They have so much choice of meat, vegetables and rice and Nasie Koening yellow rice, this is not common in Toko's.. Such delicious food!! This month we are coming here again with the family to celebrate our birthday...oh yes and delicious spring rolls...and Tjendol drinks...we are already looking forward to it...

Wij hebben hier absoluut heerlijk gegeten. En komen er zeker eens terug.

Heerlijk gegeten. Een aanrader tegen een betaalbare prijs. Voor 14 euro nasi koening schotel. En vers. Qua prijs en wat je krijgt super. In de winkel ernaast kan je tevens afhalen. Alles netjes geëtaleerd in hun counter. Het restaurant is eenvoudig maar functioneel. Met airco. En door deze betaalbare prijzen kan je toch nog eens genieten. Vond het eten er fris en vers uitzien en lekker. Kroepoek vooraf en een biertje. Het leven kan zo eenvoudig zijn😋

Allerlekkerste kipkerrie broodje met extra sambal net gegeten 😃

Eten is erg lekker. Personeel kan vriendelijker althans in het afhaal gedeelte. Restaurant deel heb ik nog niet geprobeerd. Jammer dat ze van het Alexandrium weg zijn gegaan. Betere locatie en makkelijker te bereiken.

This is an excellent restaurant for good food. Everything we ordered was terrific. The menu can be a little difficult to decode, but you really can't go wrong with any of the options. I highly recommend this location.

Heerlijk authentiek Indonesisch eten

Eten altijd heerlijk, eenpersoons rijsttafel besteld. Normaal krijg ik zoveel eten nooit op, maar van papaya geen probleem. Echt jammer dat ze niet meer in Rotterdam Alexander een filiaal hebben.

Ideaal om lekker indisch af te halen

Te veel zout, bami leek wel rubber, vlees was wat taai. Risoles was wel aardig.

Zojuist voor de eerste keer hier besteld. Helaas niet voor herhaling vatbaar. De gebakken noodles waren gekookte rijstnoedels zonder enige toevoeging en de rijsttafel voor 2 bestond uit een poging tot redang zonder al te veel smaak (weggegooid), 2 kleine hoopjes acceptabele ajam, 2 droge sate stokjes en een hoop gekookte groenten (ook met weinig smaak). Al met al niet best. Bezorging was wel op tijd, al wacht ik liever wat langer op lekker eten.

Wat een geweldig mooie schone zaak is dit! Super nette medewerkers. Wat eten betreft, jullie hebben er een vaste klant bij, wat is dit lekker zeg. Dikke complimenten, ga zo door!

Toevallig tegen deze toko aangelopen. Schoon, vers en heel netjes. Prima adres om af te halen als je zin hebt in Indonesisch eten maar geen zin hebt om het zelf klaar te maken.

Gewoon lekker eten! We halen al jaren met enige regelmaat de combinatie schotel (middel). Top gerechtjes zijn de ajam opor, ore are & daging smoor. Ook de sate kambing is heerlijk! Prijs - kwaliteit is top!
