What a beautiful place with delicious food and welcoming, lovely people.

We had a delicious meal and Ozzy served us fantastically.

Super delicious food, really, everything fresh and flavorful. Staff very friendly and respectful. Cocktails and drinks really delicious. We are from Utrecht but will definitely come back to Rotterdam for mio papa.

The service was excellent, the food was delicious (including halal options), and the staff was incredibly friendly. We received a very warm welcome and the atmosphere was very pleasant. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Would give 0 stars if I could. Unfortunately, we found mold on the cake we were served. When we brought this to the owner’s attention, the response was that “that’s how it is with these cakes.” We insisted on receiving a piece without mold, and someone brought us a replacement piece. Unfortunately, the replacement piece also had mold on it. We were also uncomfortable with the behaviour of the person who delivered the replacement. During the interaction, they appeared more focused on staring at my partner’s cleavage than on actually delivering the replacement piece, which made the situation even more unpleasant. Aside from the mold issue, we were also disappointed with the portion size, which we found quite small, and the taste did not meet our expectations. Considering the portion and quality, we also found the price unreasonable. Overall, this was one of the worst experiences we’ve had, and we will not be returning.

Attentive staff, good food, good service. Atmosphere slightly less after the renovation, a bit impersonal. The price of Jopen IPA has increased from €8 to €10.50. But Jopen was tasty again today.

Had breakfast buffet (good, fresh, not busy, 20 euro); chicken satay for lunch, latte in between and a glass of rosé in the evening : all served timely, friendly and tasted well.

Very friendly staff. Large menu selection. Food was fine. We had a table near/with a view of the hotel lobby and reception. That spot is slightly less atmospheric. Sit deeper in the restaurant or by the window.

A Turkish restaurant with very delicious food.

We had a delicious meal here with 7 people. We had to go to a concert, and the waiter and the kitchen took that into account. We were served quickly, and that did not come at the expense of quality. Very impressive. We will certainly eat here again sometime. Thanks, Ozzy and the rest of the crew, for the hospitality.

I stayed here for a night with my family yesterday and was shocked by how beautiful the hotel looks. The rooms were very neat and clean, with a well-functioning TV and plenty of storage space. The food was also delicious. At dinner, the food and drinks arrived very quickly. Also, compliments to Ali who served us that evening; he created a really nice atmosphere. The breakfast was also top-notch with delicious fresh fruit! We were very satisfied.

I spent at the hotel the last 3 months and I had many dinners at Mio Papa. Quality is great (please try Espaguetti Gamberi) and service oustanding (all of them the people in the restaurant but also the ones at the bar). Worth a visit

We had a wonderful evening with delicious food and pleasant, attentive service in a beautifully decorated restaurant. Just a 10-minute bike ride from our apartment on the Maas, it is a place to dine and enjoy ourselves more often.

The five of us dined at the restaurant yesterday on New Year's Eve. It's a beautiful restaurant with a warm atmosphere. We were served by a very friendly and cheerful waiter (Ozzy). He regularly checked on us to see if we wanted a drink or if everything was to our liking, and he was very helpful when we wanted to share meals. The food exceeded our expectations! A little taste of Italy in Rotterdam. We definitely recommend this restaurant and will definitely be back!

Beautiful decor, spacious layout, comfortable chairs. So, excellent. The same goes for the service, very friendly and helpful. The food was also very good. Good flavors. A bit sparse with the vegetables and crème brûlée from the cooler (so not a warm layer of sugar). But that's negligible. The price/quality ratio is very good. A nice place to visit again and again, exceeding expectations.

I had the spaghetti carbonara and it was very good. It was with guanciale, it was crispy and creamy. I had a pornstar martini cocktail and it was very good but I didn’t get any champagne with it. Downside is that it is very open and very big place so it was very noisy and loud.

During our two-night stay at the Art Hotel, we dined at Mio Papa twice, and that speaks volumes! What a fantastic restaurant. Everything we ordered was fresh, carefully prepared, and incredibly delicious. Each time, they surprised us with the quality and flavor of the dishes. The staff also deserves a big compliment: friendly, welcoming, and genuinely attentive to their guests. We'd especially like to thank Ozzy and Ali for their wonderful service. In short: highly recommended! The next time we're in the area, we'll definitely be dining at Mio Papa!

Based on the reviews, we were looking forward to this (hotel) restaurant. The service is friendly and goes above and beyond. We had meat and fish, and the latter wasn't great. Both the appetizer (tuna) and the mixed fish were overcooked and dry. A real shame. Considering the price of over €108.00 for an appetizer and main course, the price-quality ratio is poor, and you can eat well at other restaurants for much less. This was our last visit.

Delicious! Vitello tonnato and carpaccio for the starters were delicious! Carne misto and salmon ravioli for the main course were more than enough. Dessert: panna cotta and tartufo limoncello, simply delicious! Friendly service, super fast, and we could specify when we wanted our main course, so we didn't have everything at once. We will definitely be back!!

The restaurant in the four-star hotel has a good atmosphere. The Italian cuisine is good, the pizza is good, the pasta is soft, and the steak is average. Overall, it is above average and I would definitely visit again.

Surprised at some of the lower reviews here but everyone entitled to their opinion. We have been to this restaurant 3 times in the last 10 days as we were in Rotterdam staying at the Art Hotel. Each meal was excellent and we have eaten in many Italian restaurants around Europe. Had a variety of pasta dishes and my son had pizza one night. The foccacia and homemade bread are a must. Nice selection of beers also and staff were always friendly. Great choice on the menu and prices are reasonable.

Het restaurant, gelegen naast de lobby van een hotel, heeft niet direct een gezellige sfeer, maar het personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De menukaart is erg uitgebreid, wat soms het risico met zich meebrengt dat niet alle gerechten even goed zijn. We bestelden een lasagna en een pizza. De pizza was goed; de bodem knapperig en de smaak prima. De portie lasagna was aan de kleine kant, maar smaakte wel goed. Als afsluiter genoten we van een heerlijke tiramisu, die ik zeker kan aanraden.

Even in Rome, we haven't found a restaurant that matches Mio Papa in quality and flavor. And what about the service: Ozzy was incredible, attentive, funny and always smiling. An unforgettable experience in Rotterdam, we will come back with our eyes closed!

Restaurant of the “Art Hotel Rotterdam” hotel, this restaurant has its place in the 4* hotel. The table service is perfect with its welcoming, helpful, attentive staff and above all with its touch of humor! The meal is simply VERY GOOD! I ate the best Beef Carpaccio there. Followed by a homemade lasagna which was a little lacking in quantity for a big eater. The wine, cocktails and desserts were also very good. I recommend eating at this hotel restaurant!

Delicious aperitif with antipasti board for 2 people. Off the menu tagliatelle with truffle and beef tenderloin from a Parmesan cheese served at the table, on the recommendation of Pèpe. The interaction between Ozzy and Pèpe was hilarious, and the gentlemen gave us a nice evening. We will gladly come back ❤️

Have been staying and eating in this hotel for the last 5 months. For me the only reason I kept coming back was the staff and atmosphere. Being away from home so much it’s actually felt like home away from home. This is a really friendly place to stay with great food and great service. Honestly can’t recommend this place enough. Having a few drinks at the bar and a good chat when you solo travel really helps make this a brilliant stop over.

We wanted to come here for dinner with a gift for you voucher. We had to make a reservation by email or telephone. Email sent, no response. Called, “oh that's not necessary, you can just come by”. But when we got there it wasn't possible. We should have made a reservation… went out again without eating. We are going to choose another nice tent

We spent 4 nights in the ART hotel, this restaurant is located in the hotel but has a different owner. The breakfast was excellent for 4 days, lots of choice and everything nice and fresh. We ate in the restaurant 3 evenings, the food was just very good every evening. The staff was very skilled, friendly and knowledgeable. The menu has an Italian atmosphere, which is reflected in the many dishes. Definitely recommended, I can't say anything else

Food was terrible, had risotto… was like water with no taste

The food was really horrible and overpriced. The carbonara was just plain noodles with heavy cream and bacon, which wasn’t even guancale and there was no egg in it at all. Was completely different than on the menu. The risotto was just normal rice mixed with canned mushrooms and garlic. Horrible. And the drinks are overpriced as well. The table next to us ordered beer and when the beer was empty the waitress took it and poured the rest in the new beer. No knowledge at all… . I can not recommend the place at all. Far away from Italian cuisine!

You don't have to come here for the food. It's very simple and way too expensive for what you get. Ozzy's service and the atmosphere were excellent. The card states that they take allergies or intolerances into account. This is absolutely not true! Due to a lactose intolerance, I asked if the pizza could be made without mozzarella but with parmesan cheese because I can tolerate this. Waiter Ozzy wanted to arrange this with the kitchen, but an older gray waiter said that this was impossible. It seems quite simple to replace the cheese, but they did not want to think about what would be possible. I was told the only safe thing I could eat was Penne Arabatia. I have never experienced this in any restaurant that reacts so poorly to an intolerance. Usually they think very flexibly about what is possible so that I can eat something to my liking. The breakfast (€17) was very extensive and good. The atmosphere and service by Ozzy were excellent and made up for a lot. Next time I stay in this hotel I will definitely go to another restaurant!!

The waiter Ozzy is a kind person, but to be honest the Italian cousine is missing out to be honest. No fresh products without barely any taste. After leaving 3/4 of all dishes on the table and mentioning it Ozzy said basically shit happens and didn’t asked if we would like something else. I’ll give the food 1/5 and the service 3/5. They compensate with limoncello, but never asked for and extra alcohol.

Ordered cacio e pepe but it tasted as if it were jusg spaghetti, Parmiggiano, and sprinkled black pepper on top. Really disappointing for the expensive price. Atmosphere was nice and service was ok
