Obba's Day & Night in Rotterdam Centrum

Gezellige setting, vriendelijke bediening en heel lekker gegeten! De spareribs en zoete aardappelfrietjes met obba mayo zijn van de beste die we in lange tijd gegeten hebben!

Obba's Day & Night is een aanrader. Personeel is erg vriendelijk, bieren en cocktails zijn lekker. Verder is het eten ook erg lekker.

Bizar slechte service. Hele avond gezeten en bijna elke ronde van bestellen werd er wel voor iemand iets vergeten. Bij navragen werd verteld dat de ander het dan dubbel had gekregen (wat ook niet zo was). Aan het eind met 2 van ons op 2 verschillende momenten ruzie zoeken als personeel. Het laatste uur van de avond geen tafel in de gaten houden en zelf alleenmaar dansen met collega’s die al klaar waren (blond haar met rode lippenstift en al een rotkop om naar te kijken). De niet gekregen drankjes mochten absoluut niet van de bon. Heel raar team en zeker wanneer wij zelf veel ervaring hebben met werken binnen de horeca.

Loved this place, the vibe is great and the food super tasty. We had a beetroot burger, garlic bread and fries and as vegetarians we were super satisfied. Also the waitress Lotta was super cheerful and cute and I really appreciated that <3

BEST COCKTAILS EVER!!! So, so tasty and beautifully decorated (both cocktail and bar). Few seats and quite cramped but still worth it! I'll be back!

I don't usually post something negative, but the installation facilities had a steel needle sticking out in the floor in the middle of the restaurant and I stepped on it and caused an injury in my foot. I was ok coming to this restaurant even though I brought friends to this place. Now I won't be a customer anymore. I just wanted to tell my experience with the facilities of the restaurant. I hope no one has to go through the same situation I did.

Delicious food, super nice service! Pasta portion could have been a bit bigger for the price. The toilets are very small, you can't breathe much there. Great atmosphere, would love to come back!

1 star. Was said at 10pm that the table was served. That was not the case and a lie. Really ridiculous. Never come here again.

Thank you ladies and co. The service was pleasant and the food is worth every penny. Including the tip for what for me was a great experience! This burguer wouldn't fit my hands and was tasty as a good night sleep after a good party day. Cocktails were very good too, although like a true cocktail bar of course 😅 (forgive me Ms. Waitress, I'm extremely picky with my poisons your job was excellent far as I can tell!)

I ordered a burger here, the Obba's MF Khat, this is a fantastic burger, I almost ate my hands on it, the service was perfect, compliment to the manager who does a very nice job

The staff was very nice but the manager was awful. Loudly asking staff to upsell (more than once, our whole table could hear her). ?? The prices are insane in general, higher rhan any Neighbor cafe.. And a heads up since they dont care to tell you the tap water is not free

The food and the service was SO bad. I ordered calamari and the mezze board which was advertised as babaganush, humus and oil with dipping bread. What I got was chicken in mayo and tuna and mayo on toast. When I said I had the wrong thing, I was told that was what I'd ordered and they walked off. Apparently it changes daily and it's what they decide - not clear and a vegetarian dish served with meat is not ok. All of the staff were rude and unhelpful and I ended up paying for a lot of things I didn't eat or order.

We came in by chance to drink a cocktail. The waitresses are super friendly and the atmosphere is cozy. We will come back again to taste the cuisine.

We had a nice meal here. Only the tables and chairs are not that comfortable and convenient.

Mijn eerste drankje werd over ons heen gegooid door de serveerder en er werd mij geen nieuwe aangeboden, maar ik heb wel moeten betalen. Mijn tweede drankje viel om, omdat het tafeltje enorme gleuven heeft en ontzettend instabiel is. Er werd me een nieuwe aangeboden, maar die is vervolgens wel op de rekening gezet. Ik heb totaal voor 3 drankjes moeten betalen, waarvan ik er maar 1 heb kunnen drinken. Om de paar minuten hoorde je ook glazen bij andere tafeltjes ook kapot vallen. Verder botstten de serveerders de hele avond tegen mijn stoel aan bij het heen en weer lopen.

Mediterranean place, great food, great service

The selection of drinks is great, and we also really liked the menu. The staff and the ambience were great, as was the food. Unfortunately there wasn't enough alcohol in the strawberry daiquiri.

When we arrived they were very kind (Ricardo specifically) to move the tables so we could be more comfortable and this entire process with a very friendly smile. Then the 4 dishes we ordered were delicious, especially the falafel, which I highly recommend. I also had a cocktail that was delicious. For all this, I highly recommend it if you are in the area.

Erg kwalijk dat als je iets vegetarisch van de kaart besteld (🌱 a trio of tempting meze; tzaziki, humus en baba ganoush) je meze met een smeersel waar surimi in zit krijgt! En dat je maar 1 smaak krijgt van de 3 samen die vermeld staan… toen we de meze aan het eten waren vonden we smaken al heel apart smaken. Nadat ik de bediening hierop heb aangesproken kreeg ik te horen dat ze verschillende soorten smaken meze serveren en wij niet hadden aangegeven dat wij vegetarisch zijn. Heel vreemd dat ze zonder dat te overleggen dus zomaar iets serveren wat wij niet besteld hebben, wat niet op de kaart staat. Dan had de bediening bij het opnemen van de bestelling dat moeten zeggen of navragen. Kwalijke zaak (iets met diëten en allergieën) We durfden naast de al bestelde nacho’s en falafel niets meer te bestellen. Toen we nog in de zaak waren werd bovenstaande onderling besproken door personeel (hun opmerking: we zjjn toch geen vegetatisch restaurant! ?) waar wij bijzaten en het dus konden horen! Nadat ze door hadden dat we het hoorden, werd ons een gratis drankje aangeboden, die wij afgeslagen hebben, we wilden weg daar. Ze hadden natuurlijk ook de al bestelde drankjes kunnen vergoeden, dat is ook niet gedaan. Helaas het kwaad was al geschiedde. Nee niet aan te bevelen. De houding van een gedeelte van het personeel👎🏽 en hoe er omgegaan werd met deze situatie👎🏽

Absolutely not recommended. Strangely bad thing. I am a vegetarian myself and had ordered 'a trio of tempting mezze' which, according to the menu, is vegetarian (there is a vegetarian sign in front of it) and consists of the following dips; tzaziki, humus and baba ganoush. In the end I was served something completely different, namely a dip with surimini. I accidentally ate this one because I was confident I would get what I ordered. When I asked in the kitchen, to my surprise I was told that it was indeed with fish and that they had served us something different because they have even more dips behind the scenes. It was also a bit pretended that it was my fault because I should have indicated that I wanted the vegetarian variant, while it is not stated anywhere on the menu that they have multiple options. The management didn't inform me either. I've never eaten here, so how was I supposed to know? You really can't do that, imagine someone is allergic and is therefore in danger of life? You should just report that! Also felt that little empathy was shown for the situation. Staff also started talking about it out loud among themselves, while I could just hear it. Then things were said such as “yes, but we are not a vegetarian restaurant”, which again implied that it was my own fault. Then you should have adjusted your menu so that guests know that there are multiple options. So very unprofessional. I was offered a free drink afterwards, but of course I don't feel like being in that place anymore. They could have reimbursed the dish or the drinks already ordered. Never come again!!

Worse cocktails ever. It's disappointing after paying 14 euros per cocktail and then getting a fake mix of sugar and alcohol.

The mezze was simply salad from Johma trays on pieces of bread. Not even mezze and bread separately, pretentious nonsense..

Food is delicious. Nice bottom! Cocktails do not contain alcohol, so if you want to go home sober, that's fine. Disappointing if you expect alcohol in it. Bill is also like serving alcohol. Not recommended for drinks, but fun and food is fine! What a waste of money!

Snacks tasty, chairs broke. Pasting menus, very dirty 🤢. Overall good vibe.

We had the bitterballen and nachos, both of which were great. Nice drink selection and very reasonable prices. The servers were very kind and the outdoor seating was well arranged. Would recommend 😊

Delicious food, a little spill on the fingers but finger licking good, otherwise you get gloves 👌. The manageress was a real hostess. In summary: 'HARIKA'!

Very disappointing. The waiter was incredibly rude, never experienced such bad customer service before. The manager was no better. We felt belittled and disrespected. Do NOT recommend.

Had a group of 4x, and one of us did not order. The waiter proceeded to say that if our friend wasn’t going to order then he should just go home. Very rude service would not recommend to anyone who plans on just having a nice time.

Servants are rude and the manager is even worse! They sent us away because two people at a table of 10 didn't want to drink anything and they would be at “harm”. I will never come back here!

Nice place, decent food. Cold, because the door had to remain open while it froze a few degrees, the extraction in the open kitchen was poorly arranged, causing your clothes to smell quite a bit.

Very nice atmosphere, the food was nicely prepared, was tasty, seemed fresh, the staff was very friendly.

Agréable moment passé autour d’un verre. C’est fun de savourer un mojito fraise dans un cadre plutôt coloré et fleuris. Terrasse bien couverte et chauffée donc même en plein mois de janvier nous n’avons ressentie le froid.

Geweldige zaak op veel vlakken. De moeite waard, als je in de buurt bent, om langs te gaan. Top!

Belle découverte à Rotterdam. Endroit sympa, personnel vraiment agréable, je devais aller manger dans un autre endroit mais la playlist R'N'B 90's m'a fait rester là la soirée. Merci à votre team pour ce bon moment avec mon fils. ✌️

Sehr zu empfehlen Toller Service , wahnsinnig leckere Speisen die mega toll angerichtet sind. Eine tolle Auswahl an Getränken und wahnsinnig nette Bedienung. Ein unfassbar toller Besuch 😀 Wir kommen gerne wieder

We tried their cocktails. Moscow mule, pstar martini and espresso martini. Pstar martini was not good. But ambiance was nice and personnel were friendly ! They offered free chips which was nice

We came many times to this place and never disappointed us, but the last time it did. We order nachos and we got Doritos, and not even good Doritos, the flavored ones. So it cover all the flavor of the cheese and onion. I’d recommend not to skip this place but if you are expecting nachos, I’d ask what they serve. I believe getting some real nachos must not be that difficult.

Dagje Rotterdam,alleen maar aardige mensen ontmoet en werkelijk de lekkerste pasta ooit, met zalm en scampi, gegeten bij obba.

Excellent service, great atmosphere. Small but very nice and cozy place. Food and drinks very carefully prepared, with good quality ingredients. I recommend it with all my heart because it is a unique place that deserves attention. You can order a Barman Special drink - you will not be disappointed. I'd give a rating 10/5. Kudos to the staff and bartender :)

Zeer gezellige plek om een drankje te doen maar spijtig genoeg toch niet zo’n fijne ervaring gehad. Wanneer ik het exacte bedrag betaalde voor de drankjes die ik bestelde voor mijn vriendin en ik, waar we niet langer over deden dan een halfuurtje, hoorde ik de serveerster achter mij snauwen dat wij Belgen wel goed zijn in gepast betalen (waarmee ze insinueerde dat ze geen tip kreeg) en wanneer ik buiten wandelde zag mijn vriendin haar nog een vieze blik naar mij trekken achter mijn rug. Dit is ongepast gedrag als serveerster en hoort niet thuis in de gezellige sfeer van de zaak en van de straat. Spijtig!

Lovely, trendy and dog-friendly bar with great decor and a good selection of drinks. The service was great too, really friendly, and our only gripe was being charged for tap water but that seems to be commonplace in Rotterdam! We would visit again :)

2 days in Rotterdam, 2 days we came to Obba's! Food was amazing and very well presented! Tim made us feel so welcome with his lovely energy! He was amazing! I highly recommend visiting Obba's!

Was here during some bar hopping and the place is nicely decorated and the server was nice enough. However, I ordered an old fashioned and it was very lazily made. I wished I took a picture of it but it probably sat awhile before it was delivered to me because the ice cube was just about fully melted. Not sure if the bartender was done for the night but it was a lazily made drink.

Super lekker eten en super leuk personeel

Wenn ich könnte, würde ich auch 10 Sterne geben. Die Atmosphäre ist toll, das Essen ist super, sowie das bier und der Service. Das Servicepersonal ist immer freundlich und sehr aufmerksam. Ich fühle mich super wohl und werde beim nächsten Städtetrip wiederkommen.

Lekker gegeten en hele vriendelijke serveerster. Stoeltjes zitten alleen verschikkelijk. Alsnog zeker aan te raden.

Leuk tentje aan de Witte de with straat met een Exclusive kaart. Je kan hier heel leuk aan de weg zitten op het terras met je drankje. Hier lekker een biertje en een cocktail gedronken, de passion star. Echt een aanrader. De Nacho’s met goud papier als decoratie zijn ook echt schitterend en smaakten ook prima.
