Very large. It can be a maze at times. We were a group of over 50 people in a separate room. All you can do is eat. That means nothing more than reasonable quality. The staff is very helpful. The atmosphere is more like a cafeteria.

I was hesitant to go, but it was a nice experience and the staff was friendly. It was a lovely time with my family.

All I can say is that you get a lot for your money. It takes some getting used to having a buffet dinner, but everything is delicious and according to oriental recipes, the people are sweet and work hard. I have now stood at the back of the site with my camper about 10 times and had a delicious meal. Sometimes alone, sometimes together. I really recommend this restaurant!!! Bon appetit,...Gr. Easily accessible by public transport and car, nicely decorated, and with plenty of choices. Something for everyone. The food was delicious, and 2.5 hours is plenty of time to go home feeling satisfied.

Here you can eat from all kinds of countries, pasta, rice, potatoes, fries, too many to mention, everything is clearly arranged and easy to serve, the desserts are also very diverse. If it is your birthday, you get a discount.

Good but too crowded. Big kidd in a play area should not happened they destroy place. On top of kids kids play area required renovation as too old and smell very bad.

What a horrible, vulgar, shack this is. Undoubtedly a good profit model for the owner, but it has nothing to do with good, atmospheric, and decent food. Large groups of people, singing loudly and laughing, stuff themselves and leaving the place slurping from the beer. To each their own, but not for me.

Anyone who knows the term 'faded glory' will understand exactly what I mean. A building that doesn't seem to be renovated anymore, dirty floors and walls, a feeding shack-like scene and the food is just tasteless. Very unfortunate. Definitely not worth repeating.

Delicious food for everyone, small dishes that are quickly exchanged with freshly prepared food so that the dishes never stand under the hot lamp for long, you can wok fresh, from the plate or grill, cold starters, desserts, hot and cold too many to mention, super friendly service, and everything is quickly and neatly cleared from the table in between.

Food at Cathay is quite ok, lots of choice. Service is also good. A few downsides, we were with a large group in a room where apparently other tables were also reserved, when you walked out of the room, there are all kinds of dishes in front of you, you also walk past here with your food. Toilets are dirty, drying your hands is also not possible because the device gives 1 second of air, there are no wipes.

Arrived at the restaurant, if you can even call it that. The deck where I stood was practically falling apart. Inside, it was old, filthy, and disgusting. The food was cold, and the meat tasted more like garlic than meat. McDonald's is even better than this place!!! Had dinner with the family. Then everyone got diarrhea and food poisoning. This happened at the end of the evening... I got sick from the food for two weeks and had a fever of 40 degrees Celsius. Unsanitary restaurant. Not recommended, and I think it's safer not to eat there.

The griller used the same oil as the meat and the fish. And the same spatula. This is absolutely unacceptable!

Great for a group to enjoy a game of bowling and a meal together. I wouldn't go here with two or four people; it's too crowded. The quality is okay, especially for an all-you-can-eat restaurant. Accessibility is poor during rush hour. Be aware of traffic jams, even off the highway, on the access roads.

It used to be really good years ago, but it's getting worse and worse. There's a young man serving who smells terribly of sweat, making you lose your appetite! Parking on a Saturday is a nightmare! I had to park further away in the neighborhood. The cutlery looked dirty. The chairs are jumbled together and of varying heights. This is the last time I've been there for a while. It's a shame, because the building itself is truly beautiful.

We were there on a Thursday evening, when it was quiet and manageable. It's truly an all-you-can-eat restaurant. The hot dishes, stir-fries, and meats cooked in front of you were good, while the other dishes were overcooked and cold, with soggy fries, for example, as expected of this type of restaurant. There were 20 of us, so everyone could eat what they wanted.

We tasted the grilled steak and lamb chops yesterday and it was so terrible foods we dared to say! Sashimi was not fresh and we ate the oysters also not fresh after an hour we’re both got diarrhea from eating them!!!! Not much choices for the foods and not worthy for the price! This review is about the bowling alley. The alley is poorly maintained, the balls are constantly on the lane, there are very few balls at all, and the entrance is even worse. There's a large sign in the parking lot that says "bowling entrance," but if you take that path, you have to climb two perilous flights of stairs, the end of which is covered in a thick layer of slippery moss, only to discover that the door is locked and you have to walk all the way around. Worthless; we'll choose a different bowling alley next time.

You enter. You have to wait until the group is complete. We had to wait standing for over 20 minutes. And we were with older people. You also have to pay in advance. You have 2.5 hours to eat your fill. Long lines at the wok, grill, teppan, and barbecue. Everything is poorly signposted regarding food. The food is tasteless and really geared towards the Dutch. The chairs are very low, and the tables are very high. Our table was chest-high. Toilets are only accessible via stairs. They smell of feces. The toilets are outdated. The banister is sticky. It's filthy. You spend more time getting drinks and food. There's little walking space. You have to be careful not to spill your food or drinks on other guests. Plates are wet and/or dirty. Glasses smell of egg. There's little choice of drinks. The staff initially cleaned up faster, but then became lazy. This was our first and last time. There's ample parking, and a parking attendant is present. The business is large, but it wants to accommodate as many more guests as possible than it can accommodate. There's plenty of money coming in, so why not modernize everything?

Enough choice, a real all you can eat.

For the first and last time. Everything was filthy! Dirty plates piled high, etc. If you arrive a bit late, you're mostly out of luck because you have to be lucky if there's anything left to eat. They start cleaning up the kitchen and closing off sections half an hour before closing. They throw buckets of water while you should still be able to eat. Is this your first time here? You don't get an explanation because they don't even ask. No, this was a one-time thing.

We went here a few times a few years ago. We had a truly delicious meal. We went back last week, but it was so disappointing. It was filthy, with lots of dirty dishes and trash in the restaurant. Much of the food wasn't cooked through. Even the grilled peppers weren't cooked through, and the water in the stir-fry pan was disgusting. The food also tasted disappointing compared to previous years, and it was often lukewarm. The restrooms were filthy, and not all the staff seemed to be in the mood. It's such a shame we didn't have the experience we were used to.

Parking is a nightmare, a parking lot perfect for moped-sized cars. (Just so you know, we don't have a PC for Main Street tractors.) The staff tried to force us to park in a spot that was impossible. Most of the sign-picking staff seemed like they didn't enjoy their work. It was fun once, but too chaotic for us. Plus, a table in the middle of the hallway meant almost every time you had a sign in your neck.

It's too crowded, super chaotic. They even put tables near the emergency exit. I understand you want to use every corner for money, but there are limits. I don't even want to start about the food. Good luck!

There are various chairs at tables throughout the restaurant... One sits high, the other low. Many chairs need to be replaced, sagging or torn chairs, that's really not possible! 🙈 We like coming here, so we hope you will do something with this review. 🙂

Tonight (Saturday evening) we ate at Cathay for the second time. First time (also on Saturday) was excellent, absolutely nothing to complain about, delicious meal. Tonight was a bit disappointing because not all dishes were hot or tasty. Sushi was really great both times. How you experience it is therefore also a snapshot. The restaurant was completely fully booked, just like last time. Then it is really busy. You have to be able to handle that. This does not lead to unacceptable waiting times at the buffets. It's amazing how much capacity the kitchen has. Tips for people visiting here for the first time: book in advance and consider parking your car in surrounding neighborhoods. The parking lot is large, but is nevertheless too small for all guests. It is very tight parking and really itchy when the parking lot is full.

Ate here yesterday. It was really great! We had a delicious meal. Lots of choice! The buffet was constantly being replenished in front of us, so everything was fresh and warm. The dessert buffet was also great. Staff were very friendly. Everything else looked clean and tidy. We also thought the restaurant had a nice, cozy appearance. Unfortunately I read a lot of negative reviews. You can be happy and satisfied if you can eat out, so enjoy it! We think this is a top restaurant, so we will definitely come back.

There is a lot of choice. It is continuously replenished. Price quality is excellent. Delicious scallops, steak from the grill or charcoal grill, wok, sushi, too many to mention. The dessert buffet is also extremely extensive. Never had to wait long, despite a full restaurant. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The child had a great time playing in the children's paradise. We will definitely come back here again. Free parking and there was plenty of space.

Met groep van 11 personen op 2e kerstdag geweest. Keuze is ruim, alles is schoon en personeel is vriendelijk maar het eten is zeer matig. Sushi was wel goed (ondanks dat dat juist meestal minste is bij een ayce rest) maar de rest vh eten was vrijwel smakeloos. Stoelen zijn oud versleten en veel te laag voor de tafels waardoor je bijna met je kin op tafel zit.

a disappointment at Christmas, books are a lot more expensive but nothing extra or anything. then the next little parking space on site and advice from cathay is to park elsewhere, resulting in paid parking and a 300 meter walk. there are many minors working, just 13 year old children, it looks like exploitation, picking up and picking up. then many products are simply lukewarm. and also poorly replenished, the containers with bami nasi were empty for almost the entire evening, after a complaint they were refilled and guess what, everything was vegan, not really a disaster, but rice or noodles with only frozen peas in it, that's really not possible, there is also such a thing as with leek, spring onion and tofu and seasonings. particularly bad. and at Christmas this is definitely not recommended: queues at the cash register, queues at the preparations, you hardly get time to eat, so big business. 55 euros per person. no first and last time.

Voor het eerst hier wezen eten met het gezin. Het is me wel een drukke toestand binnen. Ik hoorde mijn achterburen hijgen en smakken in me oren, en had een beenbreuk opgelopen van een verdwaalde buggy in het gangpad die achter mijn stoel stond.Ondanks dat het eten prima in orde was en het erg druk was bij de wok en grill heb ik deze maar overgeslagen. Er is immers genoeg te scheppen overal. We hadden een fles Cava genomen maar dit was echt bocht. Ook een later bestelde Sambuca wat geen Sambuca was , was niet mijn ding en smaakbeleving. Maar al met al wel een gezellige (drukke), (rommelige) avond.

I didn't really find it as expected... several dishes that were supposed to be warm were not... (e.g. satays that are in peanut sauce... potato dishes).. I had an egg in a bacon package that looked green... (I then too)..service was below average..but they had a clown who made balloon animals for the children which was a lot of fun..and there was a lot of choice..a drink outside the all in menu had to be paid for immediately which annoying is, but they were generous with the drinks..

Compared to the other all you can eat restaurants, I don't think the offering is equivalent. The food is good, but for me not inviting for a second time. All in all, it is a restaurant where you can enjoy a meal with a large group.

The only downside is sometimes that the staff do not always understand you because they do not speak Dutch well, but luckily there is always someone who understands you. We go there regularly. This is one of my favorite all you can eat restaurants, it is located on the outskirts of Rotterdam so access is a bit difficult, you have to use a car because it is a bit remote but the prices are reasonable while the variety of food is amazingly large and all delicious. To come here you have to book first because it is always full of guests, especially there we can also play bowling and it is kid friendly. Guaranteed you will want to come here again. BTW, the price for all you can eat depends on the day. Weekdays are cheaper than weekends. The staff is friendly and very helpful.

Best "all you can eat restaurant in the Netherlands". There is a hefty price per person but it is more than worth it. There is so much choice that you would have to come back at least 4/5 times to taste everything. You can get your own drinks from the refrigerator, including wine and beer. You have several world dishes such as Chinese, Japanese, Italian, French ect. You can ask the chefs anything, for example if they want to stir-fry your ingredients, stone grill, grill plate, deep fry, on the BBQ and while they are busy you can choose a sauce. Go here with an empty stomach 😉
