I had a very disappointing experience at this Japanese restaurant. The service was absolutely terrible. Both the manager and the waitstaff were far from courteous—they were unfriendly and unhelpful throughout the entire meal. While the food itself was okay, it was nothing special and definitely not worth putting up with such poor treatment. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for good service or an enjoyable dining experience.

Visited Miso today, it was an unpleasant experience, we had a reservation for lunch at 3:00 PM. Afterwards, when paying, it turned out that a staff member had selected the dinner menu for us, but the price was therefore incorrect. An attempt was made to raise this with the person responsible, but this was not well received. The website states that lunch is available until 5:00 PM, we also showed this to the person responsible, but again this was not accepted. The person in charge then called over the staff member who had brought us to the table and shouted at him, not exactly friendly. After this, the person in charge walked away angrily and shouted at us “You chose dinner, not my problem.” It's a pity that this was handled so unprofessionally, as we spoke very politely, and certainly not worth repeating.

Today I had dinner here with friends, and what a drama. I have never experienced such shameful service. Our reservation was for lunch, but the server mistakenly counted us as dinner even though we were there from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM. Mistakes can happen, I thought, but the real problem only started when we tried to solve it. When paying, we spoke to the person in charge, who was behind the cash register. Instead of listening, he completely ignored us and bluntly said it was "not his problem". When we pointed out their own mistake, he decided to make it even worse. He called the server over, yelled at him in front of everyone and asked if we had ordered lunch or dinner. The poor server, clearly under pressure, did not dare to be honest and lied that he had passed it on correctly. As if this wasn't enough, we saw several times that the person in charge was unashamedly breathing over the dishes while serving food. Unsanitary and downright disgusting! How can you expect customers to trust a place where such things happen? The person in charge is an incredibly arrogant, nasty man who clearly doesn't care about his customers or his staff. He yells at his employees, laughs in his customers' faces, and refuses to take responsibility for mistakes. To make matters worse, he refused to settle the difference or say sorry and literally said he wouldn't adjust it, despite us clearly having eaten during lunch hours. This wasn't just a bad experience; it was downright scandalous. This restaurant does not deserve a place in the catering industry. NOT TO BE REPEATED and for anyone wondering which employee this is about: he had a strange haircut.

I have been here for the second time already incl. Unfortunately this time the whitefish was again very salty, abnormally. You just don't know how to eat it. The tempura shrimp also had a certain smell that was not the case before. Furthermore, the service was okay. I'm sorry you don't have many desserts &. They also do not have alcohol-free cocktails for non-alcoholic customers. Shame!

Knap dat ik het slechtste Sushi restaurant van nederland heb kunnen vinden. Eten is vreselijk slecht, taai, erg zout, eigenlijk alles niet te vreten. Ik praat dan niet alleen over de sushi maar ook alle andere bijgerechten. Sojasaus is volgens mij een eigen brouwsel en ook echt niet lekker. En dan roepen ze all you can eat. Je mag 2 uur onbeperkt eten. Eenmaal een te vies om aan te pakken tablet in handen, heb je ineens 100 minuten de tijd. 20 minuten minder. Dan ga je bestellen en blijkt dat je maar 5 rondjes mag. Ook al heb je niet alles verbruikt dan no max 5 rondes. Soms slaan mensen wel eens een ronden over en dan heb je achteraf gewoon pech. Voor ons nooit meer. Een gewaarschuwd mens telt voor twee.

Came there for all you can eat, but our tablet was apparently not working, which found out after waiting for our first round for 40 minutes. No one came to ask if everything was okay. We had to approach the personnel ourselves multiple times. Eventually they gave us cards to manually fill in for each round. Every time we had to look for someone to hand it over to so that they could put our orders in the system.. Rounds that we ordered from the tablet were never served. And at the end they did not even offer a free drink. Terrible experience for €45 per person dinner.

I like to come here when I'm craving all-you-can-eat sushi. As far as I'm concerned, one of the better places and in my opinion better than Shabu Shabu 🤐. Point of attention: lately fewer and fewer orders are being delivered to the table. So for example: For example, if you order Lamb rack during round 1, you will not receive it at all. Not even during the other rounds. And in some cases you will not receive it when you order it for a second time. No idea what causes this, never had this problem during previous visits, but now noticed it more often in the last 2 or 3 visits.

I used to come here much often before and it used to be a great restaurant.. Unfortunately my last visits were such a disappointment, even tho I tried to give it a chance.. Service seems like getting worse and worse.. Staff is super unfriendly, they even look bothered when you ask something from them. While there is only few tables in restaurant, they are more talking between each other than come to the table. We totally felt like we bothered them by coming to eat there. Such a shame.

Terrible Experience with Rude Manager 非常恶心的店长 We had exactly the same experience as describe by other reviewers (in the screenshot). At the end of our meal, we were FORCED to order a drink, which no one informed us in advance. When I suggested they let customers know upfront, the manager was extremely rude and said, "Everyone knows they must order a drink. If you go to McDonalds, a drink is mandatory.” Clearly, my friend and I didn’t know. Then the manager insulted us by saying, "Normal people know it. If you don’t know, it’s your problem, not mine. Just a drink, can't you afford it?" This treatment is completely unacceptable. I've seen lots of recent reviews complaining about the hostility and rudeness of this manager. We won't be coming back and will warn others to avoid this place too.

Food was great, although when doing all you can eat a few items seemed to get lost or didn’t arrive but we didn’t mind, only thing that would have made the experience better would have been if the staff were a little more kind/hospitable… there were a few tense moments between staff and other diners around us and it really made things quite awkward and we felt like we needed to rush out of there.

Cada vez que íbamos, nos cobraban de más por los elementos del menú hasta el punto en que teníamos que conseguir el menú y señalar la discrepancia porque no nos creían cuando pusimos en su conocimiento los elementos cobrados de más. Eso demuestra que no saben su menú ni el precio. Siempre pedimos a la carta y no todo lo que se puede comer. Asegúrate de revisar tres veces la factura cuando llegue al final de la comida, pero lo más probable es que tengas que pedirla y esperar unos 15 minutos cuando la reciban en su horario. La última vez que fuimos (3 de nosotros) , solicitamos sentarnos en una determinada sección. El servidor dijo que era solo para fiestas grandes. Después de sentarnos en otra sección, vimos un comedor individual sentado en nuestra sección preferida y dos parejas sentadas en la misma sección. ¿Qué sentido tiene mentir a tus clientes? La comida es promedio en el mejor de los casos. Las albóndigas son buenas, pero el sushi sabe como si hubiera sido descongelado, no fresco y definitivamente no sabroso. No recomendaría este lugar para el almuerzo o la cena. Simplemente no vale la pena.

For a sushi spot it missed the marks on quite some points amd was overall ok. Service was often missing a spark of hospitality (the local joking waiter was amazing though). Food came in little portions (only 1 or 2 items) or got completely lost in the kitchen. The atmosphere eventually was calm and the styling is cool, but lacked a bit of warmth.

Food was ok and waiters were kind but my family and me are surprised by the the unkindness of the manager at the end of our lunch when we were paying the bill. Apparently drink has to be ordered when ordering all you can eat and nobody told us that for the whole 90 minutes. When we were about to pay, manager literally forced us to take something even though we had to leave for our train, not acknowledging the error of no one telling us anything about it before. In the end we paid for 3 drinks and left but this greediness and unkindness will keep us and our close circle of people away from this restaurant for the future.

The staff's unfriendly attitude was a major disappointment for us. No one greeted us or offered to seat us until we had to request a table ourselves. The person who eventually assisted us was rude, unwelcoming, and somewhat aggressive. As a family with kids, this made for a very poor experience. After encountering such behavior, we decided not to eat there and left the restaurant. No one approached us to ask why we were leaving. Overall, it was an extremely unpleasant experience.

Went here twice already, and this was my third time. The moment I entered with my family, they gave us cold shoulder, and didn’t even ask us if we want to be seated. Next moment, my sister asked them that we want a table for five people..and one of the personnels got us seated…after which my sister asked a very simple question, “we would like to order the lunch menu, is it still possible?” It was 4:26, and upon which the waiter replied so rudely, no you can’t! And she said but, it’s before 5 and it says on your website we can have it until 5 to which he said “well, you can only order 1 round, would you want that?” - in a really bad attitude. My sister, confused said - I was only asking… and he replied I was only asking as well and immediately left, SO RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL FOR NO APPARENT REASON?! After which we immediately left and told at the desk, the customer service is horrible and will not be eating here and they did not even stop us nor ask us what happened! This was very uncalled for behaviour and really no respect for their customers. They just lost a customer, never coming here again! :)

We had a delicious meal, the meat was of very good quality. The flavors are delicious and diverse. Not cheap, but for us definitely worth it. The atmosphere is nice but busy, and it is a bit harder to hear each other. The staff still had to loosen up a bit, later in the evening they showed a little more interest.

It was quite busy when we went to eat here. Compared to other sushi restaurants, this restaurant has more choice in real sushi. Maki, nigiri and sashimi, although you have to pay extra for sashimi. It is an all you can eat restaurant, but you can order every 15 minutes for 5 rounds. You order via a tablet, but it was not possible to order drinks via the tablet. The food was generally good and tasty, although not everything was of the same quality. We got beef that was lukewarm while the rest was still warm. The price was on the expensive side for me, considering this is an all you can eat restaurant.

I like the layout and interior. It's my prefered location for a solo lunch or dinner. Friendly staff, service is quick, tables have nice distance between them. Also one of the more affordable sushi lunch places. Best sushi ever? No, but never flakey, the quality and dishes are always consistent and some days you just need something nice that doesn't disappoint.

During my visit to restaurant Miso in Rotterdam, the location and ambiance stood out positively. The restaurant is centrally located and has a modern, stylish design that contributes to a pleasant atmosphere. The staff were friendly and attentive, which made for a pleasant service experience. However, the quality of the food was disappointing. Despite the beautiful presentation, the flavors were disappointing and not at the level you would expect given the high prices. Unfortunately, this did not balance the price-quality ratio. Overall, my experience at Miso was disappointing, and while the atmosphere and service were good, I wouldn't visit the restaurant again anytime soon due to the mediocre quality of the food in relation to the price.

The food was great, but the service was terrible, especially from the Asian man with the braid. He ruined my day. While all other guests were seated inside, he led us to a table near the entrance, by the glass, where it was very hot. When I asked to change seats, he refused at first and only reluctantly agreed after my persistent requests, even though there were plenty of empty seats inside. When I waved at him, intending to greet him, he acted as if I had offended him. If waving is considered offensive, I will personally apologize. However, I feel there might have been some discrimination involved, and I want to complain about the bad attitude of the server.

Unfortunately, the wasabi is so weak that it should not be called wasabi. we got the maki special for 2 and it wasn’t good. I am a big fan of sushis and I wasnnt satisfied with the taste of the sushis : they were very bland, flavourless and overall didn’t taste fresh. I won’t come again and wouldn’t suggest u to go if you’re looking for good sushis. service wasn’t good, we just walked in and no indications were given to us about the way the buffet or the menus work. the water was 6.80. overall terrible experience

Don't be fooled, I've been eating sushi for years and this was nothing 3 times First of all, 4.1 stars don't understand where they come from I went by today for the ALL YOU CAN EAT lunch, the sushi we got was all very weak and not fresh at all, then the sushi with chicken had a piece of bone or something else that could not be chewed through. Tempura in the sushi not crispy but lukewarm and limp rice poor quality, atmosphere was fine, I could give them the benefit of the doubt and say that the AYCE dinner is better but I have my doubts about that, I don't like writing reviews but this time it has to be done. Tip: don't rush through your search until you find the perfect one

But it lacks quality: - the fish (salmon) was very dry , - lamb rack is over cooked and served with Dijon mustard (not sure about the choice of this sauce), - beef tataki is very thick, flavourless and hard to chew. - shrimp is flavourless and watery Very average evening.

We came here for dinner. You can order a la carte or “ eat all you can”which we thought would be to much…. We ordered some sushi that arrived quite quickly and was very fresh and tasty. Great service!

Very poor management and service. We had to wait for more than 5 mins to get seated even though the restaurant was less than half full. After we were seated noone paid any attention to us for more than 10 mins after which we just left, again without being noticed by any staff.

The worst dinning experience we have ever had, never seen such a rude attitude to the guests, we had 6 people, the waiter with a too casual white shirt (others all in nice uniforms) just point to a table and said that for we 6 people, which is obviously only can for 4, max 5, ( inside is sofa bench, out side has 2 chairs), when I again when to him and told that seems like it can not put another chairs to the outer side( means we cannot do, can he pls come and do the chair adding for us), and this white guy came to the table side and pointed another chair and said kind of arrogantly: just pull the chair and add there), wow, seems like he is the boss. And we need to do it by ourselves while he watch us to do so( even it obviously doesn’t hv enough space to put a third chair), third time, we requested, can him do for us where to put the third chair, the very ridiculous thing happened, this white shirt guy told us, if you do not want to seat, you can go…(with a rude attitude) gosh!! We left immediately… will never come again and recommend to others…

Definitely one of the better sushi restaurants in the center of Rotterdam. Where other restaurants place tables too close together, Miso is slightly more spacious, so you are not bothered by conversations from fellow guests. The sushi is delicious and the selection is wide.

We have just had gyoza, sake maki, salmon and tuna deluxe through uber eats. It’s mandatory to buy a plastic bag for each of these dishes, but there was only one chopstick in the bag. It was a bad joke… Portions are very small, overpriced dishes don’t have anything extra - regular sushi without any speciality. It isn’t worth its money.

Ondanks de vele slechte reviews gaan eten bij Miso Sushi. Het klopt inderdaad dat op een drukke zaterdagavond veel bestellingen worden vergeten, maar toen wij dit aangaven bij de bediening gingen ze er netjes achteraan en kwamen de gemiste gerechten later. We waren daarnaast niet op de hoogte van het tijdconcept (2 uur), we waren helaas door onverwacht druk verkeer later aangekomen in het restaurant, waardoor we uiteindelijk een halfuur minder de tijd hadden om te bestellen. De sushi zelf was niet enórm slecht, maar ik heb weleens lekkerdere sushi gegeten. Een oké ervaring, niet per se voor herhaling vatbaar.

Finally ate sushi again and that was certainly a success at Miso! Have passed by several times before. I didn't necessarily feel invited, because the entrance and the whole place are located in a small shopping center. Finally ended up here, because there was still a lot of room here. We had a performance in the Oude Luxor in the evening, we were still a little worried about whether we would get there on time. Well, we were provided with food and drinks in no time and the dishes of the chosen all u can eat concept flew around our ears. The service is really fast, good and nice and the food is as you would expect from a sushi place: fresh & tasty. It is of course not the cheapest option for a quick bite, but you do get speed and quality for it. Next time we go to a performance in Rotterdam, I will join us again!

De sushi is van slechte kwaliteit (droog, leek of het al lang ergens lag) , waardoor we over zijn gegaan op de warme gerechten (die niet altijd warm waren). Ons bezoek hebben wij als een teleurstelling ervaren. Ook omdat als je bovenstaande ervaring deelt met het personeel er niks mee gedaan wordt.

Visited several times to assess whether the quality and service remain constant. This is in response to some very negative reviews here on Google. Visited on several days, and despite it getting busier, the dishes were still served neatly within a reasonable time. The staff are also friendly (serving), although a few (clearing) are a bit timid or quiet. This does not detract from the experience of "eating out" at this location. The menu has been tried and ordered extensively, the quality is excellent. The advice is clear to take the "all inclusive", drinks are on the expensive side. Overall, this restaurant is an absolute must. A bit more experience could change this review somewhat (positively). For the region, an excellent alternative to the reopened and X

Their sushi is always nice. The rice is never hard, dry, nor cold. It's quite a luxury to have fresh sushi made everyday, readily available on the go. WAY better than being stuck with fries or kapsalon! I live in a city without a train station, and the train stations closest to my home don't have any good food options. I hope to continue enjoying this place for years to come! ☺️

Bij binnenkomst moesten we even wachten. We werden vriendelijk ontvangen en mochten zelf een tafel uitkiezen. Op een vrijdagmiddag hadden we hier wel wat meer gasten verwacht, maar we bleven de enige tijdens de lunch. Het eten was prima. Alles smaakte vers en de kwaliteit was goed. De gerechten werden snel geserveerd en zagen er netjes uit. Wat wel opviel, is dat je per ronde maar twee gerechten mag bestellen. Dit voelt wat beperkt, zeker in vergelijking met andere sushi-restaurants. De prijs-kwaliteitverhouding is minder goed. Voor €39,50 per persoon verwacht je meer keuzevrijheid en een uitgebreidere ervaring. Hoewel de kwaliteit in orde was, voelt het te duur voor wat je ervoor terugkrijgt. De zaak zelf is modern en netjes ingericht, en de bediening was vriendelijk en attent. Het enige minpunt was het toilet, dat wel wat meer aandacht had mogen krijgen. Al met al: prima eten en goede service, maar te duur en te beperkt in keuze om een echte aanrader te zijn.
