Great little spot for a drink food and some smoke

A really relaxed place. Uniquely decorated. The food and drinks are highly recommended.

Unfortunately, I had a very disappointing experience. The drinks tasted very bad and were far below expectations. In addition, the tables and chairs were extremely dirty, which made the place feel poorly maintained. We also asked if we could charge our phones, and the staff agreed. However, after some time, we realized that our phones had not been charged at all. If they were unable to charge them, or if they needed the outlets for their own devices, I would have completely understood. The problem was that they agreed to do it and only told us much later, while our phones had not been charged at all. A little honesty and communication would have made a big difference. Overall, the experience was disappointing and I would not return.

What an amazing place! Beautifully decorated in a very girly style. A perfect spot to smoke and eat at the same time, which is rare in Amsterdam. (They don't sell flowers here, so be aware, but there are so many coffee shops on this street you'll find what you're looking for).

This is one of the best locations in Amsterdam for a breakfast/ lunch, where you’re also able to smoke! The staff are lovely. The food is delicious and high quality, prepared quickly. Good value for money. Definitely recommend, the location is great and it’s beautifully decorated inside with ample seating.

I had a lovely time visiting MissB by la grotte. The atmosphere of the place is truly special—it feels very curated and has a unique charm that makes it stand out from other spots in the city. It's the kind of environment where you can really relax and enjoy the moment. The food was definitely the highlight for me; everything was incredibly fresh and full of flavor, showing a lot of quality in the ingredients used. You can tell they put a lot of heart into their menu. The service was friendly and welcoming throughout my stay. While the pace was a bit more relaxed than I expected, the staff's kindness and the amazing quality of the meal made it a very positive experience overall. It offers great value, especially considering the beautiful setting and the taste of the dishes. I would highly recommend stopping by if you want a high-quality meal in a place with a soul. I'll surely be back!

Pretty place, but honestly disappointing. 5.95€ for an industrial orange juice served with ice is way too much. Service was very slow, which made the experience even less enjoyable. Nice decor, but definitely not worth the price.

Food was very expensive had a English breakfast consisted of 1 slice toat with a egg and streaky bacon pot of beans and a sausage with a pancake fries and salad was not good vale and I hardly ate any of it it cost 20 euros and in my opinion was a waste of the mony I paid I wound not return unless they reviewed their menu

Quaint and chill. I had the most expensive cocktail of my life here. I only looked at the ingredients list and didn't realize it was a Martini. Pornstar Martini for €15.50 for two sips. Check the bill again. There was more on it than expected. But you can sit comfortably, smoke, and get high while having a drink.

It is a unique place for those who want to enjoy a quiet place with a varied but pleasant clientele, in a truly cozy atmosphere with magnificent original decor, accompanied by soft electronic music, to have a drink or a bite to eat, enjoying the advantages of a coffeeshop without suffering the inconveniences of the coming and going due to commerce and the atmospheres of ultra groups coming out of a football match, unfortunately quite typical in these establishments.

Great little spot in the middle of town. We came for breakfast. I had a full English which came with a side salad? (I’m a Brit) Bring your own bud Pretty place with a really cool vibe, would recommend

We were given menus, then there were interminable waits for our order to be taken. I ordered a hot chocolate and received a latte, which was served without a straw (I had to ask for one and wait 20 minutes for it) and without sugar, of course, which I had to get myself. The waitress was unprofessional and the service was really terrible. I'm giving one star for the pretty setting, but the rest needs improvement!

The burgers were very tasty. The ceiling has a neat design which fits the vibe really well. Nice mix of reggae, trance and pop on the speakers

Pretty cool place, but the wait time was quite long. I understand it was busy, but I visited on a regular Monday at 11 and it was already pretty full. The food was mediocre at best, and it might help to have an extra server or two so things run more smoothly.

On a Saturday at 11.30pm, the servers are unhappy to see you. We are not let sit upstairs (because they already cleaned the tables) and left dry for 25 minutes on a table with no ashtrays. If you don't see a lady behind the bar, it is a wrong day to be at Miss B.

Overpriced and the food was really bad. I was tempted to go in the kitchen to teach them how to cook an omelette correctly. The bread was really cheap. Even the mint sprig in the OJ looked like it had enough of life. Waited 40 minutes for food. There was only one other table occupied.

It is to expencive. It is a nice place though. But paying more for a drink here then i do back in Norway (which is more expencive than Amsterdam) is BEYOND ME! You can smoke weed here too. Which i did, but it is not worth it when u need to buy something to sit there.

The La Grotte burger was amazing and cooked perfectly. The chips were good to and dipping sauce and smoker friendly.

I am a restaurant expert and if I could put 0 ⭐️ I would love to! This place totally ruined my mood and outraged me with ignorance of their barmen. He doesn’t know English! How it’s is possible in the centrum of Amsterdam?! I came around 17:15 and asked what can I eat. They gave me a menu. I asked: Do you make pork burgers? They answered: Yes. Then I said: I don't eat pork. And straight away: oh, our burger is beef. So ! They don't even know what their patties are made of! And they don’t care about customers at all. I sat down, ordered a cocktail, asked for it to be stronger, to which the bartender looked at me disapprovingly. As a result, the cocktail tasted like water with ice. Employees loudly talking near guests. WC is underground and dirty; there you can easily hit your head. Then I saw how someone smoking weed inside!!! At 17:44 this rude barmen said : Hey, miss we gonna closed in 10 min. So let’s pay! It surprised me, because this place works till 23:00!!! When I touched a pin machine, he said very rude : I don’t see anything, why your phone doesn’t pay? He can’t even quietly wait until my secure codes gonna pay!!!

The portion of bacon in the English breakfast is tiny and the burger not very big, the rest is very good

I was very disappointed, having already been to Amsterdam in September 2024 I had frequented this restaurant, what is good is that we can consume in a pleasant setting while eating or drinking a cocktail, however it has become overpriced, much too expensive for the quality of the meal, it is the worst avocado toast I have eaten as well as one of the most expensive, the nachos were also bad, grated cheese not melted no taste of the nachos môle, I was very disappointed, however the cocktails are quite good but are still average

We absolutely loved this beautiful place! So convenient for all the attractions of Amsterdam but it was like an oasis of calm away from the crowds. The food and cocktails were awesome, really friendly staff and topped off by a super cute wee dog sitting at the bar 😍. Would love to visit again soon

Me and my partner came in and it was really well presented, excellent cocktails. The prices for this area were decent as well considering there's other places charging a fortune for a lot less in terms of their drinks, would definitely come back

World famous, the food was excellent and being able to smoke after eating was nice, staff were extremely friendly and the decor makes you feel your sitting in fairy land.

We tried to go here on May 12th for breakfast at 10:30am and we were rudely turned away by a woman (who was inside with another person) that they were closed. We wouldn’t have minded if there had been some acknowledgment that we were trying to go during opening hours, or at least a further explanation. We had included this place enthusiastically in our itinerary but based on this reaction, not sure we would try to go again.

Great place opens early, get coffee and breakfast with a smoke. Nice food and they serve alcohol for those who are here drinking. Been back since i left original review and the service was shockingly slow. But I have given it another chance and the service was very good. So it must depend on what staff are on.

Cool, fancy, and incredibly awesome cocktails... Hardly any other cocktail bar has impressed me more than MissB, which manages to combine all the relevant elements for maximum relaxation – cool music, ultra-friendly staff, and the best cocktails I've ever sipped (even if the watermelon ice cream gave me a truly severe brain freeze for a moment 😯🤣). The real highlight, however, was the Pornstar Martini, which I've enjoyed many times in other bars, but never with as much passion as here...absolutely amazing... We'll definitely be back, and very soon.

A real favorite! This coffeeshop in Amsterdam offers a unique atmosphere with a neat decoration that transports you. Special mention for the “cave” corner, a cozy and intimate space perfect for feeling in a little cocoon 🥰. The breakfast is to die for: tasty, generous and perfectly presented. Please note, you can smoke there in a relaxed atmosphere, but without the possibility of buying weed. An essential address for a moment of relaxation and pleasure!

While the vibes and drinks were fine, though a bit pricey, the overall thoughts got ruined due to the staff being very passive agressive, constantly trying to get you off your table even though we just got our drinks 10 minutes ago. Questions like “you dont want to order anything else” were asked. Their mission is to make you get a drink, give you 5 minutes with it, and if you dont want anything else for now, bother you every 2 minutes. Dissapointing

I've been coming here whenever I'm in town for over 10 years. Nice store but the interior has become a bit more feminine since the takeover.

It's actually a really nice coffee shop, but unfortunately it's very small and you don't sit very relaxed.

Very good concept we can eat and smoke at the same time

I had high hopes for MissB by La Grotte, but unfortunately, it was a major letdown. We arrived early for the scheduled 10am opening, only to be made to wait outside in the cold for over 30 minutes after the restaurant had officially opened. The reason? The chef was late. It was frustrating and unprofessional to be kept waiting in the cold with just an apology. Once we were finally seated, the service was just as disappointing. The staff seemed disorganized and inattentive, which only made the whole experience worse. As for the food, it didn’t live up to the hype. It was mediocre at best and not worth the price. Given the poor service and lackluster food, I won’t be coming back. There are plenty of other places in Amsterdam that offer better service and a more enjoyable dining experience.

What a great atmosphere! This place is truly something different. It’s perfect for breakfast, lunch, or just a few drinks. The price-performance ratio is okay. The way to the restrooms is a bit of a joke—adds a touch of adventure! As with other places, tobacco isn’t allowed here, but pure or herbal consumption is permitted.

On Tuesday 29/10/24 we visited the place, we were so impressed with the decoration and we were allowed to smoke inside, food was delicious and drinks as well. We were so pleased we even went back on the following day however they were closed. On Thrusday 31/10/24 we came back and ordered, unfortunately there was a mistake in the kitchen and the same pancakes we ordered on Tuesday took a long time to come, we had to call one of the staff to ask for them and a while later they came however it looked nothing like the 11€ pancakes from Tuesday. These were thin and there was no Nutella compared to the other pancakes. Overall they were still charging us 11€ for them there was no discount for the lateness and the fact that they were not the same. We left disappointed.

We discovered this amazing place in Amsterdam, walking in the downtown, and was an great sperience. The bartender is goodloking and very friendly. We liked a lot the burguer whit truffed fried!!

Extremely expensive for what the food actually is. Both of our food arrived and it was cold, tasteless and comical. The bacon was near non-existent in my bacon roll and my cappuccino may aswell have been an iced coffee it was that cold. The avocado on toast was flavourless and the toast was bread. Although hadn’t had any negative altercations with staff. Avoid at all costs!!

On Friday my boyfriend and I visited this super nice bar/coffee shop during a day in Amsterdam. And it was so wonderful and atmospheric. Upon entering we were immediately warmly welcomed by a lovely employee. I had a milkshake which was THE BOMB by the way and my friend had their homemade Hibiscus Rose IceTea. Not only were the drinks great, but the food was delicious too. The decoration inside was really ✨one of a kind✨ and the owner made it a real party 🎉! What a nice, beautiful place that certainly doesn't stop at just 1 visit. You'll see us again soon 🌺!

Don’t take the philly cheese steak, the bread is very soggy and from the freezer, the meat it not cooked well and the cheese and sauce are mediocre. I waited 3 minutes for some napkins because the waiter forgot, before he didn’t bring any cutlery at the table. At the bathroom no soap but it’s lunch, and the hand dryer doesn’t work. If you come from tiktok, perhaps you can reconsider your place to go. I recommend the english breakfast in you want to get something.
