Moeke Ede in Ede-Oost

I ate here a while ago, and it was an experience that still lingers. The kitchen is meticulous, organized, and clearly expertly crafted, and you can immediately taste that. The composition of the dishes, the balance of flavors, and the precision of the preparation testify to a well-coordinated team. What stands out is the attentiveness of the cooking, without overdoing it, but also without compromising anything. The ingredients speak for themselves, supported by techniques that bring out the essence without drowning it out. The service deserves special mention: attentive, sharp, and professional, without being forced. You feel welcome without it feeling forced. I sincerely hope they maintain this standard; the quality is high, and that makes this place absolutely worth coming back for.

We started with a beer on the terrace, which was served very quickly. Then we continued inside, with a lovely interior. We ordered food, a delicious salad, and steak tartare. Our main course, schnitzel, never arrived. The kitchen had forgotten it, but after reminding us, it was quickly made. Our appetites had waned after an hour. It tasted fine, though. Nice place, shame about the service. Too many inexperienced staff, I think.

We ate here tonight and it was truly fantastic. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, the portions were generous, and the prices were really good. We absolutely loved it and would happily return again. Highly recommended!

We waited for an hour for our food to be served. Our drinks hasn't been refilled, we needed to chase them to get the cutlery. We were planning to stay for a desert, but decided not to due to poor service and waiting time.

the atmosphere was super nice. we arrived half an hour before our reservation (a bit antisocial oops) but the staff reacted very friendly and made room for us. our orders were also taken super fast and the food was there quickly despite it being very busy. in addition, the food was also very tasty, definitely recommended!!

I ate the Moeke salad here and my partner the Eggs Benedict. We both ate only moderately. The eggs were too 'cooked' so they didn't 'flow' nicely. The steak and shrimps in the salad were unfortunately also overcooked and there was too little dressing. We have both eaten these dishes more often at another Moeke and know that it can be done differently. It was Mother's Day and quite busy, perhaps that played a role, but that shouldn't be allowed! The staff was also not very courteous or helpful. When two people at our table ordered an extra croquette, they had to wait at least 25 minutes for it....... Actually, every order took quite a long time. First the drinks, then the food, an extra drink, it all took a long time, a very long time before we received it. Staff shortage...????

We arrived with our bikes and put them down. Staff came to ask us twice if we could move our bikes and we did. We sat down outside and waited for 10 minutes. However, no staff came to ask us if we wanted something to drink, there were no menus anywhere. It was very quiet (a Tuesday at lunchtime), there were 2 more ladies who were served their drinks, otherwise the entire terrace was empty. Amazing.... We just left.

Because I do like a good piece of beef, I finally went to Moeke's. After a delicious starter, goat cheese crème brulet, the main course finally arrived, the ribeye. €30 is not tender and that is exactly the opposite of the meat. It has been hanging in the sous vide for so long that there is no structure left at all. I even doubt whether the meat has seen a pan. No pepper or salt or sign of a golden brown crust: no taste at all. The lukewarm green next to it had the most taste. Fortunately, the service was friendly and the atmosphere pleasant

Delicious food as always, but the staff was not cooperative. If you order at 1, 2 others will come and ask you what you want to drink at least twice and then it takes a very long time before you get everything, something I am not used to from Moeke.

What a bad experience, bread cold, soup not warm (waiting 50 minutes), tenderloin gray (warmed up in the microwave?). Screaming guests, which nothing was done about it. And then also had to pay 40 euros for the starters and 2 wines. Never come here again.

Had lunch with 8 people. Operation pretty smooth. Was busy but waiting times were acceptable. Ordered different dishes. The salads were delicious as well as the pokebowl. The club sandwich was tough and not tasty. Carpaccio was good and the burger went well. Service could be friendlier.

Nice Moeke branch with a homely atmosphere, most branches, in my opinion, do not have a homely atmosphere. Easy to reach and there is ample parking within walking distance.

I went here in mid-December with a group of between 25 and 35 people. The service was really great! Unfortunately one cannot give half stars. Otherwise it would have been 4.5!

The restaurant itself has a very cozy atmosphere. Moeke is located in a picturesque building that exudes a lot of charm despite its long history. The menu is well filled with what initially looks very daring, a special diversity of flavors and ingredients. Unfortunately, that's where it ended because the flavors that were supposed to give a kick came out bland. I had a flammkuchen with deer carpaccio. And the flammkuchen with the pesto were very tasty, but the deer carpaccio was lacking in taste and sensation. D For main I had the curry noodles with fried halloumi. In this dish, the halloumi was actually the only one that had a good taste and was wonderfully soft with a crispy layer. Only the rest of my Noodles were swimming in a huge bath of oil. This allowed me to finish eating quickly. I also thought it took a very long time before the main course was finally served. We arrived at 5:00 PM and still no main course at 7:00 PM. Anyway, the service was very friendly for sure. Despite the false start, I will still give this tent a chance in the future in the hope of being able to fully enjoy the quality and service they radiate!!! Thanks Moeke

Every time my girlfriend and I visit the Veluwe, we always visit Moeke. Moeke makes tasty, high-quality food and the atmosphere is cozy! Everything is possible at Moeke and the service is super hospitable.

We received our sandwich with spread and drink on time, but our main course did not arrive. After asking a clerk where our main course was, she looked at her ordering machine and walked away. We thought she would probably ask, but she no longer came to our table to report how long we had to wait for our food. In the meantime, we saw guests eating who arrived much later. After more than an hour we got our food and were about to leave. Strange service!

After visiting the market garden on Friday, a lovely rest point and a delicious meal at a unique location in Ede.

Friendly and efficient staff. The eggs benedict with salmon is very tasty. We sat on the terrace, but the decor inside is also really beautiful, if you come to eat at this restaurant during the winter months.

Nice atmosphere, they also have a few cozy rooms where you can eat/drink in a private atmosphere with a large group. The service is perfect, just like the food and it is of good quality for a reasonable price. If we are in the area again we will definitely have a bite to eat here again.

Moeke was always a favorite in Rhenen, but we as a family were also curious about Ede! Unfortunately, that was a bit disappointing as my uncle's main course unfortunately only came after everyone else had already finished their main course. Oops, the atmosphere became grim (at the table that is). no, all joking about a satay stick (which was very tasty), my uncle could no longer enjoy it, as you can imagine.
