Location and service top but the prices and food quality are not. Sushi quality is mediocre. Fried stuff is from frozen premade food. And 8€ for water is insane. Will not return and I don’t recommend this place. Price quality balance is definitely not met in this establishment.

A place in Amsterdam where you can only go by reservation. The concept is quite unique. You make a two-hour reservation. After scanning the QR code on the table, the order menu automatically appears for those who also scan the QR code. You and your friends can order every eight minutes. You can actually eat unlimited food, but it gets crowded very quickly. The food is already delicious. The sushi is very good. If you're going with a group and planning a large meal, definitely order the salads. The crab, kale, and chicken salads are excellent. I wouldn't recommend ordering the duck and Kam Lo Wanton. Other than that, the crispy sushi, chicken, cucumber sauce, and shrimp were very good.

There was hardly any conversation, no explanation of what was being served, and as a result, the atmosphere was rather unpleasant. I would recommend it for the food, but I do think the service could be improved. A smile goes a long way.

We visited at 13:30 on a Tuesday, and everything was excellent. The AYCE unlimited option offered plenty of choices, all served quickly with fresh, delicious ingredients. We enjoyed a cozy couch seat with a beautiful view of the water, which made the experience even better. We’ll definitely be coming back and bringing more friends with us!

We went here for the all-you-can-eat sushi last night and overall we liked it it wasn’t bad at all. The service was definitely very fast. We ordered 2 rounds with 5 dishes each, so around 20 portions for two people. Some dishes came with 4 or 2 pieces, and some with just 1. We paid €43 per person. You get 2 hours, and within those 2 hours you can order as much as you want, as long as you can finish it.🙂 Also, I found it a bit strange that some desserts required an extra charge. Since it’s an all-you-can-eat menu, I think desserts should be included as well There was only one thing I didn’t like. The family with kids at the table next to us left quite a mess, and the floor was full of food remains. Nobody cleaned it up, and then they seated another customer there. That person’s order didn’t arrive for a long time, and after waiting, they eventually left. I think the restaurant should pay more attention to details like this.

The food was pretty good but à la carte portions were tiny (the same as all you can eat portions). My date and I actually laughed at how small each portion was as it arrived. I think either go for all you can eat or do not go at all, you would end up spending around the same for much less. Cocktail was watery. Service was a bit inattentive. A wall sconce was shining right in my eye the entire dinner, a good interior designer would catch this, we wanted to move tables but none were available. Overall the service and atmosphere do not feel as ‘premium’ as the prices would suggest. I would eat here again if I was not paying.

We had diner at Mojo and it was very tasty. You can choose the all you can eat service for 40€ per person ( it’s worth it ) and can order from the menu what ever you want for the next 2 hours ( some things have a little extra prize, but that was totally fine ). You have enough time and the service was fast. Was a nice diner and we enjoyed everything.

After ordering, it took 30 minutes for the food to arrive. First came the sushi, then the edamame and shrimp chips, and finally the soup. The miso soup is served in a bowl slightly smaller than a teacup. Despite this, there's a line out the door. The waiters just throw the plates on the table and leave. It was a huge disappointment.

Very busy, and half the staff are really unfriendly and rude. They don't speak Dutch and make no effort at all. Food is just slammed onto your table. The other half are friendly and do speak Dutch, and you can ask them questions and get answers. In short, a typical Amsterdam city center establishment. Expensive.

The food is a bit hit or miss. I didn't like the sushi much (and I looooove sushi, but it didn't taste very fresh), but the warm dishes were really good, and there's a lot of choice. With the exception of one very friendly and funny waiter, the dishes were just put on the table without a word, which I disliked a bit. Despite this, we might be back when we'rein Amsterdam again, because you really get a lot for your money, and now we know which dishes we liked best.

I’ve had much better “All you can eat sushi” in Amsterdam and Mojo is not on top of my list for sure! Everything was bland and maki had too much rice that you could barely taste the fish or other ingredients! The waiting time for each order was so long that we almost forgot what we ordered. Normally you can order dessert unlimited in every similar restaurant with this concept but after ordering 4 of them they told us that we need to pay extra if we want to order more!! The variety of the food was limited + some of the most basic ones (e.g. Lam chops) are not included and you need to pay! The only good point is the location and that’s it! Definitely it was our first and last time!

We ate here on the 26th of Octobre with a group of 4. The service was good and the atmosphere was nice, but the food was lacking for the price. Often it was cold, which was weird because the restaurant was pretty full, and some dishes didnt taste the same when ordered in round 1 and round 2. Nothing was ice cold or tasteless but it was dissapointing. With the other All you can eat options nearby I don't think we will be coming back

Reason for the 1 star is that I asked if I could have tap water. The waitress said she was sorry but they "didn't do that". I asked what she meant by they "didn't do that". She said that they would not serve tapas water. I told her that it was illegal in the Netherlands to refuse serving tap water to clients in a restaurant. She replied that she knew that but unfortunately they were not allowed by the business owners to serve tapas water to clients. She seemed to be truly ashamed of it. I cannot put more than one star to a restaurant that chooses to go the illegal route like that and pressure their staff into it. And it's not like the food is cheap either...

Most of the sushi and some grill stuff we received was smothered in sauce. Maybe personal preference, but we did not appreciate this. Maybe better to have some sauce as an option or on the side? The service was also slow. It seemed like there was only one person hosting in our wing with many tables, and she also helped to bring the food. This meant there was a long wait and sometimes things were forgotten because of the busy-ness.

This was my 2nd time at Mojo. While the 1st time a year ago was a great experience, this time I was really disappointed with the food. The sushi was pretty tasteless. The other items on the menu were a bit better and when we ordered dessert, we realised we were limited with how many we could order. Even though we were 3 people, we could not order 2 of the same item twice, without having to pay extra. This was also not mentioned to us from the beginning.

Unfortunately, this time it was very disappointing. Several dishes weren't served, the service was chaotic, and at 9:30 PM the kitchen closed, so we couldn't order anything. We barely ate anything in the end, but still paid around €228 for four people and a two-year-old child. That really felt out of proportion.

Ate here with a few friends. The atmosphere was immediately noticeable. We sat at a large round table by the window, with a fantastic view of the water. Often, large groups sit at long tables, but here they had a very large round table. This was fantastic. The food was beautifully presented, and the flavors were truly excellent. I was truly amazed at how high the quality was. The cocktails were delicious, with a wide variety and unique flavors, which I really appreciated. The staff cleared the table regularly, which I appreciated. However, a few didn't speak Dutch, which I still find a bit of an issue in my own country. But they were very friendly. Today, not 5, but 4 stars for service. I've shared this surprisingly positive experience at home and will definitely be back!

We tried the ‘All You Can Eat Sushi’ deal (which is available until 15pm and from 16pm until closure). Best sushi I’ve ever eaten, and I think it was relatively cheap too for how much we’ve eaten in that deal. The sushi just kept coming! I highly recommend!

The food is really good. However, the staff serviced badly, without smile. We asked for a new table as the one he suggested is so hot. It seemed like he was not ok just said “where do like want to sit” with bad tone of his voice. Once we asked for a bill, and we wanted to split the bill for 3 people, he said we don’t normally do that, with his face that was not ok. As customers, if the staff have a way to communicate with us nicely and softly, we are totally fine with not splitting the bill. I’d recommend to have good service minded please.

Most of the food we ordered was not fresh, especially the mussels and beef. Fish was sliced so thinly in sushi that you could hardly taste it, 90% was rice. The service only came to us to bring food or bring the bill. In most cases, our table was completely occupied by dirty plates. Overall, the atmosphere there was okay, but because of the food and service not really enjoyed being there.

There's some ambient noise, but you can hear each other! There's only one parking garage nearby, and it's about a 5-minute walk. We paid €52 per person, excluding parking! I think the prices could be a bit lower.

I go there very often. Yesterday was just the two of us, but sometimes with groups of 10+ and sometimes 50+ people (at Christmas, for example). It's always fun to be there, for the view, the atmosphere, and the food! :) The only thing I miss is the consistent menu (everything is delicious and well-seasoned). I hardly notice any difference in the dishes. Otherwise, I highly recommend it for any occasion.

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! Everything was very good from. The view from the window is simply amazing and makes the atmosphere even more enjoyable. The food is delicious, and the overall ambiance is pleasant - bright natural light from the big windows and not too loud, which made it perfect for a relaxed meal. The highlight, though, was the staff. Everyone was friendly and attentive, making us feel very welcome. A special mention to Ivy, who truly charmed us with her warm smile every time she came to the table – she made the experience even more memorable. I highly recommend this place and will probably return soon myself!

This restaurant offers both unlimited and à la carte options. The system works like this: You sit at any table. The QR code on the table opens for 2 hours. Each person can order five dishes every 7 minutes. However, this time is sufficient. Orders arrive quickly, but there can be a slight buildup. This is especially important to keep in mind to avoid wasting last-minute orders. The food and the location are excellent. The crispy sushi and ice cream were especially delicious. We'll definitely stop by if we're ever in the area. We went in the evening and paid around €40 per person, and a liter of water cost around €8.75.

Really nice japanese restaurant that offers seating with a river view. It is possible to order all you can eat (with small dishes ordered in serveral rounds) or à la carte. The unagi nigiri, the shrimp skewer, and the salmon tartar tobiko were some of my favorite dishes. The apple gyozas ordered together with ice cream were also pretty nice. For service you scan a QR code in your table and you see the menu and order from your phone. If you do the all you can eat menu, then you can order a round of 5 items per person on the table, every 8 minutes, which prevents you from ordering more than what you will be able to actually eat. You can use more than 1 phone at the same time, and the items in the shopping cart will update across all phones simultaneously, which is pretty neat. I don't like having to use my phone to see a menu or to order, but at least here the web app works well and it is well implemented. Some of the dishes take a really long time to come though, usually the warm ones. We thought they had forgotten a couple of times. In others, the item arrived once we had already finished everything else and ordered a new round, so expect to wait a bit extra for these.

The makis are simple; I expected more variety with toppings and sauces. The rest of the sushi dishes were excellent. I recommend the lamb chops; they were very tender! €42.50 per person. All-inclusive is quite expensive, but that probably depends on the location.

A good all you can eat experience for Japanese food by the water right next to the Central Station. Food came within minutes after your online order. A lot of variety and you have two hours to enjoy which is more than enough for us. Also a good place to se the sunset if you come by the evening.

We went to this Japanese restaurant after visiting the Nemo Museum (which is next door) and I couldn't believe what I was seeing when they brought me the dishes! If I had the body of a Playmobil, it would be fine (the amount would be just right), but since we're normal humans, it wasn't even enough for a tooth socket! Very small plates, very little food for the prices. If I have to say something good, I'd say that the "little" food they brought us was good. In short, to feel even a little bit better, we had to order about 10 dishes, and we spent €115, only to end up hungry and without dessert. Anyway, if you eat very little and like good Japanese food, I recommend it. Otherwise, it's better to go somewhere else; Amsterdam has good restaurants at all levels, balanced (price/quality/quantity).

Die japanische Küche in der Mozartstadt: Viel hat sich getan in den letzten Monaten, wobei das bisherige Angebot bereits als ausgezeichnet zu bezeichnen ist (zum Beispiel das Koi am Bahnhof). Das Konzept ist mittlerweile bekannt: Per Tablett bestellt man Leckerbissen der japanischen Küche - und das sind tatsächlich wahre Leckerbissen: Temaki, Onigiri, Hosomaki, Uramaki, Nigiri und dann erst die gebratene Ente, oder das Huhn, Beef im Hot Pot und vieles mehr. Es schmeckt nicht nur großartig, die Qualität der Speisen ist ebenfalls bemerkenswert. Der Nachtisch - ein Gedicht (für das man allerdings separat zu bezahlen hat). Das Lokal extrem sauber und sehr nett eingerichtet. Die MitarbeiterInnen freundlich und aufmerksam. Wir kommen wieder!

Modern, fast service, most of dishes are tasty, nice view out of the window, convenient system of ordering. Some dishes might be optimised (lack of spices). Robot-waiters are not involved to the process - it’s a pity.

This was my first time eating at Mojo. I have a nut and peanut allergy, and they were very accommodating. The allergens were clearly indicated on the menu. And the staff was extremely friendly and attentive. I found it very thoughtful that a staff member even stopped by to check if everything was okay with my allergy. I will definitely be back. All the food was delicious. You get a 10 from me!

Superb restaurant, the food is very good, a little disappointed by the price of the bottle of water 7.95..€ more expensive than a soft cocktail. Apart from that, great restaurant. 2 options: all-you-can-eat or à la carte service. All dishes are halal apart from 1. Quite a lot of choice

I've been to Mojo many times, but after eating at Tatsu for a long time, I was craving Mojo again. I have to be honest, the selection of sushi is now much smaller than what's included in the all-you-can-eat package. If you want to eat other sushi, you have to pay extra, which wasn't the case before. I also found the flavors and sauces a bit lacking; there wasn't really a hint of flavor, which sauces should have. The restaurant is very nice, but quiet. Background music makes it a bit more enjoyable.

Years ago, when I lived in Amsterdam, I loved going to Genki. After receiving a voucher through Tripper, we made a reservation at Genki. According to Tripper, reservations were available from 4:00 PM. We made a reservation for 5:00 PM and arrived about 10 minutes before that time. It turned out our reservation hadn't gone through. The employee didn't know anything about Tripper. I asked if he could check with his colleagues, but he initially refused. The employee said we could still eat there, but at the regular price. I explained that we had already paid for the food online. Reluctantly, the manager was called, and we were asked to take a seat. The employee told me they wouldn't open for another 11 minutes. Strange, because Tripper said reservations were available for an hour before that. Fifteen minutes later, the employee arrived and explained that the boss wasn't offering a Tripper promotion. In his words: "He (the boss) tells me to kick you out." The employee indicated that he obviously wouldn't say it that way, but the bottom line was that we had to leave. I asked if he/his boss would confirm this in writing so I could pass it on to Tripper to discuss a refund. This request was ignored. My mother was deeply shocked by this extremely rude and downright hostile attitude and was on the verge of tears. Eventually, the boss was called, and the employee passed the phone to me. The comment about "throwing me out" was downplayed, and when I explained that this attitude was simply unacceptable, we were finally offered to take the vouchers. Reluctantly, but with little choice given the rain and lack of time, we agreed. It was a very uncomfortable situation in which the employee (however well-intentioned) didn't act decisively, and Genki's internal communication and administration were inadequate. You can't sell vouchers online and then shame the guests who use them and make it so difficult to redeem them. The food was decent. Nothing special and limited selection, but the dishes we did have were tasty. It's a shame our dinner started off so poorly. Ultimately, this means this will be our last time at Genki, and we certainly won't recommend this restaurant to our family, friends, or business associates.
