This place is just gross. Bathrooms are gross. I lived in Japan. This isn't ramen. The noodles taste like store bought pasta. Stay away!!!

Food was amazing, very tasty. The lady was very nice. The prices are pretty okay considering that it’s central Amsterdam. The potion sizes are big, and the food is very filling. We had the beef soup, bento box number 8, gyoza and miso soup. I would recommend every dish that we ordered.

Third time I come and it does not disappoint, the miso soup is delicious!! And the attention is warm and friendly. 100% recommended!

What a wonderful thing this is! We went here with friends and were welcomed with open arms. Fantastic! The food was really delicious (especially the BBQ Eel) and the staff was even better! Recommended.

We love this small, charming and very fresh sushi restaurant. They have great soups, sushi and also a teppanaki table (however you spell it) where they cook on the table in front of you. Very nice people running the place.

If you're looking for a traditional japanese Restaurant with Izakaya ambience, this is the place to be in Amsterdam!

During ADE we decided to have a bite to eat with the seven of us in between 2 parties. Luckily we were able to sit around the baking tray and took everything. Fish meat and we all loved it. Nice and quick and for a great price. Highly recommended!

We ordered avocado sushi, chicken udon soup and chicken wok fried rice and everything was simple and okay but nothing amazing. When we asked in advance to make the food a little more spicy, the lady simply denied saying we can use pepper from the table. Being a tourist, I was running out of phone battery and politely asked them if I could charge my phone for sometime and she denied saying it is not possible. It turned me off a bit but no issues with the food.

The gem of Amsterdam. I discovered it a few years ago and every time I'm in Amsterdam I have to stop by. The food is made super quickly and you can taste every ingredient! Price is fine and the quality is perfect. Best place in Amsterdam. I love it!

I went on the 29 of August and I had THE BEST Chicken Udon Ramen I ever had. Absolutely delicious! Nice place and the staff was very polite. I really recommend it!

Found by chance while passing through the center. Small but nice place, excellent sushi. The two of us took the 60 euro plate and it was more than enough, in the end we were bursting! Good and plentiful! Tastes a little classic but good. The only flaw: they only brought us bottles of water without glasses. For the rest everything is ok, fair average prices.

Sushi was tasty, although I think it would be better if you could choose the sushi from the menu. Prices are super affordable for Amsterdam. It's definitely not comfortable there. We sat by the window and everyone who walked past looked at our plates. That was very bistro-like. It wouldn't hurt to smile from the service staff every now and then ;)

Extremely rude waitress! Non-fresh food. The edamame was so stale that they had a visibly odd texture. Udon was very oily. Unpleasant atmosphere and dirty.

In the end, I don't feel good about it. I don't want to give even one star. I'll leave what happened here. This happened during my first trip to the Netherlands. I was exploring Amsterdam by myself, and when I found Japanese food, I happily entered the restaurant, only to find that the staff were Chinese. The atmosphere of the shop is very Japanese (a bit Showa-ish) The taste is close to Japanese food, but it's not Japanese food, it's just that the ingredients are mainly Japanese food. I paid the bill for 19 euros (currently 3,135 yen) with a credit card, and of course I have kept the receipt. When I checked my credit card statement two days later, I was charged 199 euros (32,835 yen). When I called the store, they couldn't connect, but my Dutch friend called the store and I was able to connect. When I told them about the incorrect charge, they said they already knew about it and would immediately refund my money in cash. I really wonder why they didn't correct the credit card charge when they realized the mistake, and it's hard to understand why the only option was to refund it in cash. Once I realized that I had to pay the wrong amount of 199 euros anyway, which I didn't understand, even though I would get it back in cash. If they really made a simple mistake, I would be willing to give in and forgive them, but I'm also disappointed in how they reacted when they realized their mistake. It's funny and shocking that about 3,000 yen turns into a 30,000 yen meal. Is it harassment of Japanese tourists? Did eating alone make you look at your feet? We strongly recommend that you keep your receipts and check the amount charged at any store while traveling. The only downside and the only worst experience of our trip to Holland. In a way, I learned as well. thank you A store that I would definitely not recommend to anyone. for your information.

Very fresh. Nice combo. I regret not getting Ramen (looked good!!)or something from the Teppanyaki which sits in the middle of restaurant.

Had lunch with my family in this small typical Japanese restaurant in the center of Amsterdam. Fantastic! We eat very well.

When I was there, the lady moved us from our table to give it to someone else. When we sat down to eat at another table, they shouted "Takeaway, no eat here". I never said I wanted takeaway. They just assumed that because we're teenagers. Very dissapointing, won't be coming back here. The lady was straight out rude.

This is the BEST sushi restaurant in Amsterdam. I’ve been 5 times in the past 6 months, once on each of my trips. The sushi in the US doesn’t compare to this place. You MUST eat here if you like sushi!!

Kleines verstecktes Restaurant mit freundlichem Personal. Das Essen war eher durchschnittlich, dafür für Amsterdam recht preiswert. Bargeld wird akzeptiert.

Such a small cozy restaurant!! We tried the ramen, fried rice chicken and some sushi, all SO GOOD!! Full of flavors, and for us it was a pretty good quantity, as we left completely full. Fully recommend the place ❤️

It is a nice little cozy restaurant. The staff were nice and welcoming. We were seated right away, and they checked on us frequently. The foods were actually not bad! All the items were delicious. However I felt it was little on the pricey side considering the portion sizes. But then again, everything is pricy nowadays :P

They easily catered to my dietary requirements and the food arrived quickly - I could see it being made in the kitchen! Really delicious, definitely recommend.

Das Essen und der Service sind hervorragend! Frisches, authentisches japanisches Essen. Einfach gutes Essen und liebe Menschen. Die Ramen und Sashimi waren sehr lecker und mein Sohn sagte, das Sushi sei das Beste gewesen was er je gegessen hat. Wir waren in vielen schicken Lokalen in Amsterdam, hier hat es uns am besten gefallen und geschmeckt! Sehr zu empfehlen!

Petit restaurant au milieu d'une petite ruelle, très agréable à l'abri des touristes. Restaurant traditionnel servant de bons plats savoureux à des prix très raisonnables pour la localisation. 13€ le bol de ramen et 13€ l'assiette de porc teriyaki. Je recommande.

I’ve been eating in this restaurant since years and honestly the quality of the food lately dropped drastically so the price increase is totally unreasonable. I took a wok rice with vegetables and shrimps for 10,95€, the rice was totally overcooked with a super soft texture and sticky, I think they just warmed up in the microwave. The vegetables were only few leaves of cabbage and few carrot threads, I had a total of 5 shrimps in the full dish. Really poorly made!

While in Amsterdam, I was craving for some Asian food and found this spot. I was no so sure at the beginning because of some negative reviews but was surprised that the food was tasty. Glad I gave it a chace.

Rice was unfortunately over cooked and the food wasn’t the best. Staff was rude about one in the group being allergic to fish, should’ve gone somewhere else.

Estaba lloviendo y entramos casi por casualidad buscando un sitio donde comer. El personal? Maravilloso, encantador. El local? Muy bonito, limpio, agradable y sobretodo tradicional. Como hacía frío decidimos tomar unas sopas estilo ramen y estaban súper ricas y nos devolvieron la vida. Veo comentarios negativos pero no entiendo el por que de ellos. Lo recomiendo sin dudas.

Very average. I am very used to eating japanese. Products and cooking are not at the expected level. Unfortunately, i do not recommend.
