It was a while ago that I had been there, but it was just like old times. Some things you shouldn't change! Very warm, friendly service. The top quality food. The Lobster Menu (choice of half or whole lobster) is highly recommended.

We were welcomed and served by a very helpful and courteous gentleman. the meat is halal and the gentleman even provided us with the certification. The dishes were very fresh and delicious. we recommend!

Mi familia y yo hemos estado en Kreeftenbar Amsterdam muchas veces en los últimos años. La comida siempre es buena. El sushi está bien preparado, y la langosta siempre sabe fresca. Esta noche nos presentamos sin reserva, y a pesar de estar muy ocupados nos dieron la bienvenida y nos sirvieron una deliciosa comida. Mi hija adolescente estaba especialmente feliz con el helado muy hermoso y el postre de frutas que le prepararon. El personal es siempre muy amable, y la comida siempre es deliciosa. Muy recomendable.

Great and underrated eatery. Extensive menu, a great Thai chicken soup with coconut milk. Very friendly staff (Anny). Close to the Rai - highly recommended.

I have tried the food in this place 3 times and I have always been very disappointed. Super fatty duck, microwaved rice, uncooked veggies, unfriendly stuff (we asked the lady in the front to sit in the couch since we have kids and she didn’t let us and suggested the chairs). The place was empty 🥲

Heerlijk eten, zeer vriendelijke bediening, prijs-kwaliteit verhouding prima, gezellige en moderne sfeer. Betaald parkeren in garage eronder, via achterkant van het gebouw.

Nice ambience, fresh ingredients, good portion size, and quick service. They were also open all day Sunday, which was very convenient because other restaurants are not open then.

Perfect, we ate super fast and very good, artisan food. I really like the attention. They gave us a chocolate with our coffee. Very nice indeed.

I received delicious rice with gado gado delivered to my home. For that price you can use fresher onions and a little more vegetables, I think two green beans are a bit sad. Even for a very small eater like me... I'm afraid there will be a dish to go with it too. Ratio of vegetables 1 third / rice 2 thirds, no matter how well prepared, is a bit out of balance for a take-away meal The carrot and pepper were delicious And maybe I was unlucky, the vegetables should have been stirred better... Definitely coming back for another chance

Not a nice place, that woman is not hospitable and you are not allowed to sit inside unless you get a whole lobster. I had fries and something to drink and sushi had to go outside. Never again

Chinese food near RAI. The food comes out quickly and is very delicious. Unfortunately, the white rice (rice) was indica rice. There was also sushi, but I would like to try it next time.

The staff were friendly enough. It was clean but I would not recommend the food. I’m sorry to say that our meals were not very good. I had the spring rolls which were very oily. Dripping with oil as you bite into it and my chicken and noodles were not good either. The pic is of my finished bowl. The chicken was grizzly and fatty. The noodles very plain and I could swear the Chinese sauce was made of ketchup. Hubby’s sashimi was straight out of the fridge and the quality wasn’t great. Neither was his beef in vegetables. None of the dishes tasted well seasoned either which in cooking is a basic. Again. Nice staff. Clean restaurant but looks like it was really quiet in there for a reason.

Hi ! I was excited about trying this place but i got disappointed to be honest. We ordered the krab menu which has: 4 crab sushis- 1 crab soup - half krab with salad en fries. This menu was nice to be honest but i expected something else from the sushies due the price the sushi had some piece krab + surimi. That disappointed me. Cause surimi is really cheap and u dont expect that on something you pay a lot of money for. The crab sushi en zalm sushi was not WAUUW i expected sue to the price : 10€ / 4 pieces. But the food in general was still nice. Was made me feel unconditionally was the woman serving. She was so serious, not even a smile. No customer service feeling. She was mean. Just to the point. Kind of like eat, finish and go. I advise you to be nicer to the customer cause my experience would be better and 10 out of 10 if the staff was nicer. But was not the case.

Asked staff member kindly if I could use the bathroom, even pay money. Older member of staff was rude and aggressive. Another member of staff filmed me without permission. I’ve eaten here before, but never again. Only interested in being polite of you pay them money.

Ik raad iedereen aan om zeker hier niet te eten!! Personeel is super onbeschoft! De eigenaar is racistisch en weet niet wat service en klantvriendelijkheid is! Mijn vrouw wou even naar de wc en dat kon niet omdat we ervoor moesten betalen zegt ie! Terwijl ik kreeft daar heb gekocht!

Small but fine restaurant. We were all super happy with the food and everything around it! In our opinion it deserves more than 4.2 stars! It really tasted great. Since we were all very hungry, we neglected to take any photos... it was great!

Small but nice, I had a delicious meal there with my best friend, it was a bit on the expensive side. Oh, and I heard that there were several Lobster Bars in Amsterdam from a pink haired lady, but I can't find it

The food itself was delicious, the lobster menu, but I wouldn't be so quick to order this again. The staff wants to be quick and the quality was good, but not quite as I expected.

As always, we found this restaurant while randomly looking for a place to have a nice lunchtime. The man that served us and took our order was very nice and kind, the portions were very big and it was a pleasure to eat. I am sorry that I was not able to finish my plate, it was a lot, but I loved every bite.

Das Hummermenü ist sehr zu empfehlen. Ich habe seit langer Zeit keine so gute Hummersuppe gegessen. Man schmeckt das sie sehr lange eingekocht wurde. Sehr lecker und preiswert. Das Sushi ist auch zu empfehlen.

Casual quick eatery, nice selection of asian dishes. I usually take a wok dish with noodle or rice. Not too expensive, just for practical dinner.

Its was okay but. Not bad but not the best too. Portion are big can shared by 2 person. Dumpling/wanton wrapper was weird its thick and a bit dry. The restaurant itself is modern and a bit fancy but not so asian looking.

We hebben heerlijk gegeten al is de naam 'kreeftenbar' volgens ons niet helemaal op z'n plaats. Het is meer one dish food en sushi restaurant. Overigens van een super kwaliteit. En natuurlijk is er ook kreeft verkrijgbaar ( erg klein) Al met al als je een echte avond 'kreeft ervaring' wilt moet je ergens anders zijn. We hebben wat mis gegokt. Toch 5 sterren waard dit restaurant.

For absolutely unknown reason, I was turned away at the door and shown out of the restaurant before I even had a chance to sit down and order. They even locked the door and the owner even showed me the finger through the door. I have never seen anything like this. Heerlijke sushi gegeten. Maar je kan uit zoveel meer kiezen. Zoals kreeft of wokgerechten. Noem maar op. Het is binnen wel een beetje donker. Dus dit is wat mij betreft meer een leuke plek als de zon niet schijnt. Maar puur voor het eten is het zeker een aanrader. Ook de Mojito cocktail is aan te raden

Das Essen war lecker und schnell da, wenn man es denn bestellen konnte. Mit anderen Worten: der Service war unterirdisch. Wir kamen, um Sushi zu essen, aber um 19:45 Uhr gab es leider bereits keine mehr.

AMAZINGLY GOOD!! Super super super goed food! As an Asian, I approve!!!!!! Amazingly friendly staff as well! The noodle (Korean beef) was so so yummyy!! If it has been approved by two Asian as good in a roll then it’s definitely gooooood! Restaurant is super clean & classy! Staff are ALL very kind (你们是最棒的！). One of the BEST Asian restaurants in the Netherlands!!!!!!! (In my heart now)

We had a delicious meal at Kreeftenbar, especially the 'lobsters' and dumplings. Wide variation menu! Highly recommended!!!
