Tasty food and quick service but very small portions in the ala carte - I should have gone for the all you can eat buffet

The food was served quickly, delicious, and the service was excellent. Reservations are highly recommended for weekend getaways and meals with friends. They also have special dishes for pregnant women, which is very thoughtful.

Delicious AYCE dishes in small portions so you can sample everything. If you like spicy food, the edame mojo style is highly recommended.

Very disappointing experience! My friend was celebrating her birthday, yet the girl behind the service desk was extremely rude and dismissive when we pointed out that we weren’t satisfied with the service. On top of that, my friend is lactose intolerant, but she was still served whipped cream containing dairy. The attitude and lack of care completely ruined what should have been a nice occasion….

I have visited this place several times over the last 2 years. Unfortunately they Lowered their quality and increased their prices. Yesterday my friend throw up after 2 hours eating here. The fish was gone bad. The two starts is for the better quality of the past.

They really used to have the best sushi here compared to the other similar concepts in Eindhoven, but the last time the quality was really so much lower. It's a shame, because now this is just one of the many all-you-can-eat concepts with mediocre sushi in Eindhoven.

Tim provided us with the very best service all evening. Our ordering time had actually passed, but he made sure we could still place an order and then tick desserts. Thank you, Tim, for the extra service!!

The food itself was tasty, but the fried white fish was old and had a spoiled taste. That is unacceptable, of course.

Although I have been to Mojo in Amsterdam quite often, I had a very unpleasant experience here that I have never had at a restaurant before. The waiter came to collect our empty plates and, while picking them up, spilled a large amount of soy sauce on my friend's arm and shirt. Of course, this can happen, and offering a simple apology and trying to find a solution would have been sufficient for us. Unfortunately, we received a very dry response: "Oh... that is my fault." Afterward, he walked away without offering a cloth to wipe off the sauce. When we brought this up when settling the bill, the employee indicated that he had said sorry but had done nothing because one of us was already wiping it off with a cloth (as if that is a reason to leave it at that and not come back). The only problem was that the only thing we had at that point was Mojo's dry napkins, which were not suitable for properly cleaning the soy sauce stains off his clothes. It was not the incident itself that bothered us, but mainly the way this employee handled it so dryly, and then left without even checking if it had been resolved. In the 30 years I have been alive, I cannot remember having a waiter who was so rude.

We are not allowed to sit where we want. In this heat, they seat people next to each other, even though many tables are still empty. When we asked if we could sit at another table, we were told no. And the food isn't that good either.

We often go to Mojo for dinner and sometimes lunch, and we love Mojo. But recently the quality of the food specially the Nigiri sushi has reduced. Also, yesterday their service was a bit poor. We ordered some food and they forgot to bring it. It never was like this before.

For this review, it is worth noting that I wore my new shoes (€400) and new shirt (€50) for the first time that day. I am not saying this because I want to show that “I buy expensive shoes,” but because I personally think it is an awful lot of money and find what happened to them ridiculous. My girlfriend and I went to eat here on June 1, 2026. The first impression was fine, except for the fact that the base of the table leg was incredibly sticky and disgusting. During the first round of clearing, all the sardine shells fell off the plate onto my new shoes—maybe some leftover sauce, but this resulted in a salt stain on my new shoe. It is annoying, but this can happen; I tried to clean it and we continued eating. The people next to us had ordered ice cream; unfortunately, the ice never made it to their table because the waiter dropped it on my neck and back, leaving several stains on my shirt. That was when I started getting a bit irritated and had practically lost the desire to continue eating. Eventually, I went to the manager anyway, however annoying I find that. I have never had to do this before. I wanted a solution since I had just pulled the tag out of my shirt. They said I could take it to a dry cleaner and email the receipt. Of course, my shoes were not discussed as a solution, because that didn't seem relevant enough. After a brief conversation with, in my opinion, absolutely no good solution, I sat down again because she couldn't do "anything" (except for the dry cleaning receipt). I still hoped to be able to eat something. From that moment on, we had to wait 35 minutes for ONE chicken skewer. AND TO TOP IT ALL: my girlfriend ordered a mocktail, and the moment the waiter walked over to put the glass down, HE SPILLED HALF THE GLASS OVER MY SHOE. I believe that you can make a mistake at work once in a while, but if your staff drops things three times and spills on the same person, I would be a bit more selective during your hiring process. I also find the solution for “the damage” incredibly poor. I am genuinely annoyed that I didn't just walk out the door after this nightmare of a “dinner” where I ended up having to pay €100, even though I had barely eaten anything. I would have been mortified if I had made someone pay another €100 after an evening like that, knowing what happened, but anyway, that is not up to me in this case. I hope this review lets you know where things stand, as this is quite recent!

What a dump. You get filthy, black fries that make you super sick, and the only thing they offer you is a new tray. Mind you, we had only been there for 30 minutes. Had to pay full price for garbage food. NEVER AGAIN!

Unfortunately, my experience at this restaurant was very disappointing. The food was of poor quality and barely edible for me. Additionally, I found the service to be very unfriendly. Communication during serving was unfriendly, and I did not feel welcome as a guest. Given the price and my expectations, I had hoped for much more regarding both the quality of the food and the service. Based on my experience, I am unfortunately unable to recommend this restaurant.

Great food, one issue for me was that waiters/waitresses not very customer friendly, no smile, no eye contact and very hectic when food is brought and placed all over the table, very dfficult to feel relaxed...

We had a delicious meal at Mojo Japanese Kitchen! As a vegetarian, I love sushi, and here you really have an incredible amount of choice. There are so many different dishes that you can enjoy yourself to the fullest and try something new every time. 🥹 The quality was top-notch and the all-you-can-eat formula makes the experience even better. Moreover, the service was very fast, so we never had to wait long for our order. I enjoyed it immensely and will definitely be back! 🍣✨

Average experience for a Japanese restaurant. Portions are all. I can recommend the asparagus dish which came with a tasty sesame sauce.

AYCE for Mothers day dinner. Food was great. The place was really busy, because of the date and staff needed reminding for soy sauce, was ability and ginger, otherwise was great.

The food is pretty bad quality . I puked after eating may be because of the food poising . Service is just poor , as they keep putting things on your table without even telling what it is or acknowledging anything .

We had a nice meal and drinks with a larger group. Because it is an all-you-can-eat place with many choices per round at once, there is a lot on the table, and the takeaway times could be a bit more frequent. But anyway, that depends on the staff, and we still just had a nice evening.

The food was tasty. The service was pathetic; when I go out to eat, I don't like being told to pass that glass and those plates. I wouldn't get to work there.... Most of the waitstaff couldn't even look cheerful. It's a shame; I really found this a reason not to go anymore.

Everything was great. No stomach aches after five rounds, fresh sushi, no thick rice at all, friendly staff, and the dessert at the end wasn't bad. Definitely worth it.

every time i go i get the all you can eat. it is cheaper when you go in the lunch time and in the weekdays. from all the sushi places in eindhoven, this is the one i recommend the most. lots of variety and they serve super quickly. drinks are expensive though and in my opinion the place is a bit dark (light)

Very good all you can eat restaurant with a lot of halal choices. The sushi rolls are really top quality and they have a large menu of bites for the sides. Drinks are on the expensive side, but it’s worth a visit. We paid 85 euro for two.

Food, well, the sushi is of supermarket quality, other dishes are so so. Service is by honest young people who just want to earn a small pocket money, so nothing special. Atmosphere is exactly the same,... full of people that believe they are in a special place because it looks nice but have no clue what quality food really should be. But hey... all you can eat for 39.90 ;-)

Super nice staff! They don't judge you. And the food was tasty. One minor downside is that there is no dessert with lunch. You are looking for something sweet, after all. But it didn't bother me too much because I'm a savory person. Delicious cocktails.

We went to eat here the other day on a weekday; it was incredibly busy, you were practically sitting on your neighbors' laps. The food often didn't arrive, and when it did, it was practically dumped on your table. In short, zero service. The food is fine, but I wouldn't go to this branch again. You're better off going to the branch in Tilburg; they have friendly staff there, and the dishes are significantly better.

Excellent food (little but good)

The service was incredibly bad! Not a smile, not even a hello. Food was literally thrown on the table, so much so that my jacket got soaked in sauce. Unfortunately, I didn't see it until later.

The food arrived far too late, we had to wait an extremely long time, and the sushi lacked both wasabi and ginger. Poor service and a very disappointing experience. There were still lipstick stains on the wine glass. Not recommended. We'll definitely be dining here again.

I regularly go to MOJO Japanese Kitchen, and it never disappoints. It's an all-you-can-eat concept, and for the price, the quality is really good. The food is fresh, tasty, and there's plenty of choice. Especially if you're in Eindhoven and craving sushi or other Japanese dishes, this is a great place. I go there often when I'm in Eindhoven; it's become a regular spot for me. MOJO Japanese Kitchen in Utrecht is also really great—I personally think it's even better. The only downside there is that parking in Utrecht is quite expensive. But in terms of food and experience, you're in good hands at MOJO!

The ambiance and style of the restaurant were inviting and stylish. The service would have been more elegant if a robot had done it. The food quality was far below par. The sushi rice was dry and tasteless. I think these were rolled a long time ago. Not worth repeating.

We've been coming to Mojo Eindhoven for years, and the service has deteriorated significantly over the last few times. We went there last night, and the food has never been this bad. Everything was poor quality, and the food tasted like nothing.

It's a nice and tidy place, but that's about it. No explanation upon arrival, drinks weren't served but left on the edge of the table. All the food was also left on the edge of the table, a lot was sent back, and absolutely everything was cold. The staff wasn't friendly, didn't smile, didn't exchange a word. Two of the three of us got sick immediately after leaving, vomited all night, and had intestinal problems. I therefore do not recommend this restaurant.

I thought it was spacious, both in terms of the number of guests and the layout. Compared to, say, Izumi, there are a few fewer options, but the food is certainly good, and the service is fast. All in all, we had a great evening before catching a movie at Pathé. Parking is easy, just below in the Q-Park garage up the hill.

They need some improvement about their desserts. Rest is standard good quality all-you-can-eat.

There wasn't a smile, and all the food was left on the edge of the table...no way to even bother looking where to put it or asking who had ordered which drink. No, the service was truly subpar. The quality of the food was decent. Even when we left, there was no smile, no nod, or even a simple "have a nice evening"...nothing. This is definitely not a restaurant I'll be returning to anytime soon, and I certainly don't recommend it.

Everything was great for a small Japanese restaurant. This is a one man show, so give yourself a little extra time. Expect delicious and inexpensive menu items very well prepared and presented.

I was eating there with my daughter. She got sick after 25 minutes, so we left. I explained that we'd only been there for 25 minutes and that the second order hadn't even been delivered yet, and that we were going home because she'd gotten sick. I still had to pay the full bill.

We made a reservation at 7:15. An hour later, we still didn't have a table. Many people with us had also been waiting for ages. We finally decided to leave and eat somewhere else.

Had dinner on Christmas Day, the food was fine, but I have rarely seen such filthy toilets.

The food and atmosphere is quite good, but the service is unpleasant beyond belief. The staff makes sure you understand you are not welcome here, irrespective of how polite you try to keep your communication. Excellent choice for people who like rude hosts. Not for me.

The chef's meticulous execution of the preparations was a remarkable element of our dining experience. This efficiency, combined with the quality of the food, made our meal very enjoyable. We appreciated the overall service offered by the establishment.

Rude staff, They do not even look into the customers eyes when they greet or serve and they told us that they will charge 3 people service money for showing up 2 people to our reservation. Customers are the boss not the workers. They should fix their behaviour before losing more customers.

The food is great! There's a wide selection of vegetarian dishes, and the food is served very quickly. Unfortunately, the staff is always very curt and disinterested. Furthermore, the restrooms are often dirty and poorly maintained (out of soap, empty paper dispenser, dirty toilets, etc.).

My local friends from Eindhoven invited me in this restaurant and I was craving sushi. This was probably the best sushi I ever ate in my life and I went out with a full stomache! Super impressed also they serve the food very fast!

I've been here twice. Once à la carte and once all-you-can-eat. It was very busy on a Friday night, but I was able to eat at the bar. Not a problem since I was eating à la carte. Cozy atmosphere, friendly service, and delicious food. I couldn't eat two different sushi dishes because I didn't like them. But I loved the scallop sushi, for example, and I would come back just for that. The second time, my boyfriend and I went all-you-can-eat. It's the best all-you-can-eat we've ever had! We loved everything, and the service was fast.

We had a great meal again. Once, they took a bottle of drink from the table that was still half full. But after I mentioned it, they immediately apologized and gave us a new bottle on the house. All the tables were full, but food didn't take long to arrive and the staff were just nice.

My husband's birthday was yesterday, so I made a reservation for 5:30 pm for six people. We were given a table in the back, right around the corner, across from the kitchen. Tucked away in a corner, the only distraction was the clacking of plates by the grumpy, unsmiling staff. It felt like we worked there and were getting free food, which we then had to eat very quickly. Even when I told that unprofessional Asian girl, with thin, see-through bangs in the front, that we weren't happy with the place, she replied, "Yes, that's a shame," without looking at me. To which I replied, "We're not staying here!" Then she said, "Yes, go ahead..." and thankfully, we did! We returned the table and the service and went to 4 Seasons (above Happy Italy) and got the treatment we deserved! I recommend everyone, if you have nothing to hide, not to be placed in that corner by the bar/waitress on the right. I can't judge the food, but I think it would taste just as bitter as the treatment and service. I also didn't see or hear anyone laugh in that entire restaurant... My advice to the restaurant: I'd say, take down that red carpet in front of the door and roll out a black one, for a funeral—a funeral where no one shows emotion.

It's all-you-can-eat, but the atmosphere isn't overwhelming. It's a large restaurant, but nicely laid out and has nice decor. The service is attentive, even if you don't quite follow the digital process. The food is the best we've had in this area.

My daughter has been sick since Friday after arriving home (vomiting, stomachache, and fever) after eating at Mojo's. I have a stomachache too! Never again!

incredibly unpleasant service. They literally threw our food on the table without saying a word. We found a piece of plastic in the food, which we immediately told the staff and to our surprise she didn't even apologize to us, they took it for granted. Every waiter was unpleasant, you could see that they were literally struggling and didn't want to do the job. We had a reservation but still had to wait 20 minutes for a table. Highly recommended

A great experience. The food was delicious, not just the sushi, but also the other meats. It's clearly indicated whether something is vegetarian or halal. We made a reservation because there were seven of us going in the evening. I always recommend making a reservation if you're coming with a group. The food was delivered fairly quickly once you've ordered. I'll definitely be back.

The staff can't handle the sheer volume of guests. This is reflected in the food and service. Food arrives cold when it should be hot, dishes aren't prepared properly, and they're still served. Dirty plates are left on the table for ages, leading to piles of plates. Each time you order, dishes are forgotten. If you raise this issue, you only get a "sorry, we can't handle the crowd." So they're choosing to prioritize quantity over quality. It's a shame... hopefully, they'll change this in the future.

Disappointing experience with child rate Today we wanted to have a nice dinner here with our daughter, who just turned 4 (her birthday was a few days ago). According to the policy, children under 3 eat free. Since she's just turned 4 and eats very little, we politely asked if they could help. Unfortunately, there was absolutely no flexibility or understanding. They insisted on paying the full child rate, without any consideration or leniency. That felt unnecessarily rigid and not customer-friendly. Because we didn't feel comfortable with this, we ended up leaving. It's a shame, because we were looking forward to a nice evening, but because of this attitude, we won't be returning anytime soon.

I don't usually give bad reviews, but this one really MUST. We arrived with our daughter, who has an allergy to sushi, so she didn't eat with us. We accidentally forgot to mention this when we made our online reservation. The guy behind the bar told us, "When he saw the stroller, he said, 'Oh, that one too!'" We had a whole discussion about our daughter. A secondhand embarrassment, even though we're regulars. The reservation was completely substandard, the food was placed (almost smacked) on the table, and now there's no way to say hello or explain what it is. Most of them don't speak a word of Dutch, by the way. It was incredibly busy, and we had a long wait to pay, and after paying, it wasn't a pleasant evening; she was already busy with other things. It's become a factory, which is a shame, because you used to be our favorite sushi restaurant in Eindhoven.

The food was fine, but I found the service here to be extremely poor. If you sit on the serving side, you're not considered. Plates were placed on my phone and cutlery, and empty plates weren't cleared away; new ones were simply piled on top. It was fine for a one-time meal, but I wouldn't go back.
