Samurai Ramen Eindhoven in Centrum

It was the first time at Samurai, but not the last. The owner gives you a very friendly welcome right away. Asian friendliness! But the Dutch guy serving there possessed that Asian friendliness too. Fast service as well! I ordered the chicken teriyaki garlic ramen, not realizing it was soup. But a good choice; fresh, very generously filled, and very tasty! I just ate with chopsticks again, how wonderful. It had been a long time, but it worked out fine. For me, a very successful visit; good to have tried it out, I will be coming back here more often!!

We had a wonderful meal! Everything was super tasty. Especially the ramen, of course, in a delicious broth with black garlic and chicken. Everything was super fresh and the portions were generous. They certainly didn't skimp on the fish in the sushi and the poke bowl. And just when you think you can't eat any more, there are those delicious mochi afterwards. We sat upstairs and looked out over the shoppers in complete peace. Very attentive service by Melvin. Super nice owner. Highly recommended! PS. Try the 'cold' sake.

This place is really delicious, the service and the kitchen are super fast. The food was really tasty, it reminded me a lot of Japan. The only downside is that it was stuffy upstairs and I would have liked a light breeze or air conditioning.

Great ramen and reasonable prices. However, even if you buy a drink, they won’t provide tap water alongside, only bottled options (Chaudfontaine €3 for 25cl or €6.50 for 75cl). Wouldn’t recommend on a hot day if you’re dehydrated. They also don’t allow splitting the bill, so one person has to pay everything. Food is good, but flexibility is very limited.

I had a good experience here. The food was tasty, and even though it was the weekend, we didn’t have to wait in long queues. The atmosphere was cozy, and everything was delicious.

Very friendly service. But the moment you walk in, the smell of deep fryer hits you. And let's be honest, that's pretty much it. I had the ebi tempura shoyu ramen. Ebi only tasted of old frying fat. And the broth lacked much flavor. This is definitely not the best ramen shop in Eindhoven.

This looks like fake ramen and even tastes like fake ramen. The fried sushi was good tho. I'm not coming back again to this place.

I ordered ramen number 13, which was delicious and slightly spicy, similar to Thai tom yum. Number 16 was like a clear noodle soup, and number 3 tasted like braised pork. Overall, it was delicious, and I really liked the sesame fried dessert with purple sweet potato and red bean filling. The matcha mochi ice cream was also tasty. I wasn't disappointed at all coming to this restaurant.

We were in a hurry, as we didn't notice time, when we came to the restaurant, so we didn't get to try a lot of things. Their ramen was amazing and we will definitely return to try other things on the menu. Everything was quick, you can also order via QR code on the table. They were so kind as to give us mochi on the go, when we were rushing to our other appointment. Thank you 😊

The restaurant was very cozy and had no wait but the food is average. I was disappointed that the fried chicken in the curry was undercooked (slightly pink and chewy). When I asked if it could be cooked more, the server told me that it was done this way and he saw them cooking it (???) so yeah… I did not insist but barely ate the chicken because salmonella is real. Other than that the rest of the plate was fine.

They are cute, helpful and make divine ramen.

The restaurant is spacious and clean. Service was warm and welcoming but food is unfortunatelt average. The broth is quite bland with unseasoned veggies. We had a quite range of ramen and side dishes (shrimp, chicken, tofu...) but nothing stood out.

Good quality food and a beautifully maintained restaurant. Fast service, even when the restaurant is busy at 6:00 PM, you get your food within 15 minutes.

I visited this place in the spring – it was delicious. Fresh fish, restaurant-style presentation of the rolls, delicious takoyaki, and the mochi was simply mouthwatering! I still remember the taste and want to go back again. The ramen was good, but I would have liked a richer broth. More variety in the rolls would also be nice.

My favourite restaurant here. Love going here, treating myself to one salmon poke bowl. Super reasonable price, and everything I’ve tried on their menu— from their gyoza, tempura, sushi, ramen, curry, AND THEIR CHICKEN— is heavenly. Definitely recommend. Super nice staff as well, kind and attentive to customers. Definitely deserved 5 stars! Now I’m hungry again writing this review.

I had a delicious poke bowl this afternoon.

Nice decor, delicious ramen, and reasonably priced too. This ramen comes with two halves of ramen, eggs, and fishcakes. At many places, that's suddenly a ½ euro charge, which I noticed and thought was pretty reasonable!

We had a small meal here before going to the cinema. The food was delicious and there was a wide selection. Since neither of us are big eaters, we ordered two kinds of sushi and a few side dishes. Next time, we'll try other things on the menu; the staff was extremely friendly.

Ordered veggie ramen and tofu tasted oily. Not those kind of tofu shown on the menu. The shop was undergoing some repair work when we were there. It was a bit noisy and smelly. Food was average but service was good.

Surprisingly good food! The sushi and side dishes were delicious, including crab cakes and octopus balls. The ramen itself was also good, although I found it less flavorful than the other side dishes. The staff was also very helpful, and the food arrived very quickly. You can be out within 20 minutes if you want, but everything tasted incredibly fresh!

Samurai is a nice atmospheric ramen bar. However service could be more professional. Waitors had difficulty taking the orders and were unsure what item belong to whom. Luckily we were able to order by the waiters, and not use the clunky app. The menu looks very chaotic with hardly any vegetarian options. Could use more flavour in the dishes.

The yakitori chicken and chicken in teriyaki ramen were tasteless. The ramen broth was also bland. The gyoza chicken wasn't great either. The service was excellent.

This was a great Japanese restaurant that I would definitely recommend. The ramen was amazing and the sushi was flavorful. We also tried the Gyoza Teppanyaki and Ebi Tempura, they were okay. The service was very helpful, the server was polite and helpful. Finally, the atmosphere was very fitting to the theme and cozy.

Quite a long wait for the food but it was very tasty and the portions were just right.

A warm welcome awaits you with Japanese hospitality. Good ramen (tonkotsu) and a great poke bowl. The prices are reasonable, and you'll be pleasantly full after a bowl. The service is very attentive, and you feel taken care of.

I went here for dinner today with a friend. She ordered the crispy fish Poké Bowl and I ordered the crispy fish sushi. The crispy fish turned out to be just fish sticks. Surely that's not how it should be? Truly disappointing.

Got the Shoyu ramen, it wasn't bad but taste is kind of watery. Lots of bokchoy so I guess it's healthier than standard ramen, but gives me the vibes that it's not quite authentic ramen.

One of the best restaurants I have ever eaten at. The food is always warm and everything is fresh. Friendly staff who take care of the tables so that nothing is left empty. The only minus is the soy sauce on the table, which is very salty. The rest is perfect!❤️

Nice restaurant in a beautiful spot in Eindhoven next to the Philips museum. 2 paid parking garages within walking distance. We were with our family of 5 for our daughter's birthday. Too bad the reservation didn't go through, but luckily there was still room for us upstairs 😅 Service is fast and the food is also quick. All the kids (17, 15 and 11 years old) enjoyed their meal. Nicely arranged in terms of crockery, up to the walls, in terms of chopsticks and table accessories.

4/10/25 The miso ramen is a bit salty, the Korean fried chicken is okay, the octopus in the octopus balls is very small, but it’s good to have Asian food.

We sat upstairs quietly and had a good meal. The takoyaki was really delicious, just like the crispy chicken poke bowl and the crispy chicken curry bowl. The vanilla ice cream mochi was also very tasty.

Now this going to sound weird but the sides are miles better than the ramen itself, so I suggest ordering many sides rather than ramen. Especially the karaage chicken.

The best place to get a nice hot bowl of ramen. I found it to be traditional of a ramen shop in Japan. Nice dumpings, rolls, sushi, fried machi balls, and ramen. It was delicious and tasty, even the kimchi, but this dish is not Japanese. I recommend it if your looking for something tasty to warm you up!

Top 3 favorite ramen places in Eindhoven! I can recommend the Chicken Black Garlic and the Chicken Miso Ramens! The staff is very friendly and polite, however during peak hours they seem to be under-staffed and the service is kind of slow.
