Ridiculous establishment. Ordered food, it’s been2 hours… still waiting… An option is to take yourself off from Thuisbezorg if you’re too busy. But I guess you’d rather make the money and have customers wait. Edit after giving 1 start review: Food was late for nearly 3 hours. But someone did call me, found out the issue, revealed order is mixed, sent it again… taking own initiative. Well did their best so thank you.

I have been ordering sushi from here for the last 5 years, it was pretty good at the beginning, even it was my default sushi place to go. But along this last year it has started losing quality. I honestly don't know the reason. For my last order (65€) it's safe to say not even edamame were ok. All rolls had weird taste, salmon texture was really bad, we even checked the ingredients list as we were not sure where some flavors were coming from. We even got a bit anxious to feel bad in the stomach. It is a shame such a nice place ended up like this, they lost a regular costumer today.

No service. And horrible food; Soggy edemame, untasty pokebowl, lousy sushi, horrible gyoza, worst ebi tempura ever. It took 1,5h for me to lose my patience and go take my order myself from the shop and my order was still not ready. It takes 10mins to prepare a sushi combo and after 1,5h they still needed another 10 mins to prepare. Stay away!!!

I order from here about every month for a substantial amount. The last four times, it's gone terribly wrong. The first time, I selected a delivery time of 7:00 PM for a work meeting, and the food arrived at 9:30. Part of it was missing, and no wasabi or soy sauce was delivered. After calling several times, they delivered the wasabi. But the meeting was over, and no food. Furthermore, the missing items weren't delivered. The employee said they'd take care of it next time. Today, I tried again to explain the situation in the description and asked to pay extra attention to the wasabi and soy sauce... The girl on the phone said, "I'll take care of it, I'll pack it myself." I just received the order again, and it didn't have any soy sauce or wasabi. If I call to complain again, I can send an email. It's ridiculous how this is being handled. It's a shame that this business has deteriorated so much for me, if this is the right solution for this company after four times of misconduct! I've lost a customer who regularly spends a lot of money with you!

Ordered from Mr. Chikin (same place). What a disgrace. Half an hour before the time of ordering, I received a message saying it was "on its way." After an hour, still nothing, and the place is 200 meters away. Someone down the street called to say my food had been delivered. The food was freezing cold. I called the scammer's place. I was told off, saying it was "between me and the delivery driver." A lot of back and forth arguing, he refused to bring new food, and of course, it was my fault. What a pathetic place!

Normally I'm not someone who grabs reviews to complain, but mr Sushi has been given two chances to respond to a complaint, without a response, so here it is: 18.02 order confirmation 18.23 mail: order is on its way 19.24 still nothing received. Called the branch: Lady also thinks it's strange, calls the delivery person who says he keeps driving into the wrong street, but is almost there now 19.59 still nothing received, so call the branch. Calls the delivery person again: is really almost there now. Get a discount code as compensation. Don't think that will come in handy... 20:07 still nothing received. Call the branch again. Calls the delivery person again. The delivery person rings the doorbell now. I keep the branch on the line, look out the window: no delivery person, no bell, no food The branch puts me on hold again. After 4 minutes of not hearing anything, I hang up and start making sandwiches. 20.15 delivery person rings the doorbell. I ask what went wrong. I don't know what could be wrong. It's a bit later. The warm part of the meal is cold, the poke bowl has apparently already been pre-mixed. No idea what exactly happened to it on this world trip. What a bizarre experience.

We just got a sushi delivery. I will just throw it away because I think it’s just not safe to eat. Tuna smells very suspicious. Does not even smell like fish anymore. To say it was not fresh would be an understatement. Honestly, I never seen worse sushi in my whole life. It’s also disappointing that I wasted money just to throw away the food. Also on thuisbezorgt they have 4.2 stars reviews. Here 2.5 stars. Think about it.

There is a promotion going on on the Mr Sushi website where you will receive a free sushi roll of your choice after spending at least €30. It was not possible to order via the website and therefore not to enter the code for this promotion. After which we ordered via Uber Eats. When we contacted us by telephone, we were not helped very friendly and the employee was not very cooperative. We were referred by this employee to order via the website to take advantage of this promotion, while this was not possible on their site at the time. Very strange and not friendly help. Order took very long. Not surprising on New Year's Day, but strange that this branch could no longer be reached by telephone. So we had no idea what the status of our order was. Our order was only delivered after 2h30, exactly when we had given up hope and had already made our own food. The food was fine, not particularly tasty and the spring rolls in our order were soggy, which is a shame.

An absolute scam! If you’re ordering from uber eats, they go by the name Mr. chikin as well. They didn’t deliver in the agreed time and when I called to ask they said it would take 2 more hours (after already waiting for an hour) so I said I didn’t want it anymore and they said they would cancel the order. Another hour later they still deliver it (when I had already ordered from another place), and the delivery guy forced me to accept. 1. My order was supposed to be ready for pick up at 7.30pm (according to thuisbezorgd). I arrived at 7.50pm and they told me it would only be ready at 8.30pm! 2. When I complained about this issue, the person in the kitchen was making fun of me rather than properly apologizing (the girl at the counter was respectful though) 3. I have tried Mr sushi in the past and food is nothing special considering the price. There is better options. 4. The guys in the kitchen are teenagers/early 20s just having fun. They are not respectful with clients in general, music is loud and they are just teasing each other. Friday night is just a party for them (probably this is why they are so delayed in preparing the orders). 5. By coincidence, the delivery guy almost hit me when I was on my bike. The guy was just having fun going on the wrong side of the bike path and going in zigzags with his bike. Hope the owners see my review and do something with this bad service as it is damaging their business.

I am very disappointed in Mr Sushi. I don't know what's going on there. I've had the experience a few times now that the order has been forgotten and I'm waiting for my food. Tonight we waited 2 hours for a pokebowl and 1 portion of gyoza. Had to call twice where it stays. When the order came I got burnt gyoza, cold and chewy. They did correct this by sending 2 portions again. I gave the delivery man the burnt gyoza to show his manager what they sell to a customer. When I just got outside, the delivery person just threw it on the ground next to the mailboxes. Really antisocial. I called, but couldn't get to the manager on the phone, he was too busy. What is also very strange is that I have saved a lot of points, so with 30 points you get a box c for free. Since I order often, I was almost finished with that. How surprised I am, in one case I have only saved 5 points. I've had it with Mr Sushi. Never come there again. THEY SAY IN A RESPONSE HOW ANNOYING THEY FIND IT AND THAT I SHOULD EMAIL IT, THEN THEY WILL SOLVE IT. NOWHERE, BUT NOWHERE, AN EMAIL ADDRESS TO BE FOUND. HOW SERIOUS AM I TAKEN? Called a second time after half an hour and then an unfriendly lady on the phone told me "that I can also come pick it up". 1 star is too much. Don't order here. I ordered through Uber Eats and waited an hour. No food, so I called, they said it was busy and the food will be on the way shortly. One hour later, still no food. The restaurant has been closed for an hour and is unreachable by phone. The order has been paid for and I received nothing so they basically stole my money.

This really gets a big 1. I can't say anything about the food because we haven't received it after almost 2 hours of waiting and they close in 45 minutes. When you call you get no answer and it seems as if they have now thrown the phone completely out. Really lousy customer service. So know what you're getting into. Perhaps it is due to Sunday crowds, but please let us know that it will take a little longer.

Order via Uber Eats, shrimp croquettes were completely burnt, the Shrimp tempura were cold and the sushi was tough, no mayonnaise in the sushi and rice was very sticky, the sushi was not well distributed and the avocado was brownish.

Ordered sushi, but as can be seen in the photo, the tuna is just gray and the salmon is very slippery and tough. According to Mr. Sushi, the fish is tested every day and this is how it should be. This sushi is certainly not fresh and has been here for a few days. NEVER AGAIN MR SUSHI. TERRIBLE SERVICE AND FOOD. DO NOT ORDER HERE. Manager was also not present

Gone downhill severely this past year. Walked in to order and the aura is misereable. Arranged to collect, of course they were late, and even wanted to argue about how many minutes late they were. Don't order anything apart from sushi, the microwave is their second best friend. I will not be back, they lost a regular customer today, time to find someone who cares about their business.

Incredibly bad. The sushi was incredibly hard. Almost certain that the sushi was already made a few days ago and put in the refrigerator. Seemed like you were chewing on a frozen rock. Everything was thrown away immediately. In addition, the wrong order was initially delivered, which meant that everything took longer than necessary. Never order again!

Unbelievable... waited 130 minutes for my food, in the meantime I fainted from hunger (they also no longer answer the phone if you have called the same number a few times). Last time I was told again: staff shortage. Either limit your menu to fewer types of sushi, or recruit your staff differently OR provide a more realistic delivery timeframe. Then I could at least have canceled my order and gotten my food elsewhere. Last time I order here. Too bad, because food is fine, but logistically it's a sick disaster. I wish them good luck and more staff, hope things will get better one day.

Ordered sushi online and delivered at home, but to our surprise the sushi sizes are not standard like normal sushis they were so small and not tasty old sushis, called restaurant mentioned the but they won't accept that product back and give us the money. 1st christmas day made us happy! They are not kind to the customer. Never order again.

Ate there for the first time. Unfortunately, it was both the first and last time. The service was uninformative, the staff were rude, I didn't get what I ordered several times, and the dessert bar was very small. Too expensive for what you get.

I've ordered sushi several times now (directly through Shinsei online) and have never been disappointed. The sushi is always fresh, the delivery is fast, and I love that you can order individually or in groups of four. It's exceptional these days that both the quality and the service are so consistently good.
