Shinsei Sushi in Patrimonium

Delicious sushi, always fresh and beautifully presented. Wide selection and good quality. For me, absolutely one of the better sushi places in Amstelveen. Highly recommended!

Finally, a sushi place that makes slightly smaller balls of rice and adds plenty of garnish. Keep it up. That is, after all, authentic sushi. I had the eel roll and it was good. I also had a salmon roll and that was fine. A place you simply must try at least once. What I did find disappointing was that the person serving me at the cash register was smoking outside and threw away his cigarette when I entered. As far as I could tell, he hadn't washed his hands and proceeded to touch the (packaged?) sushi. I am strict about hygiene, which is why I'm giving 3 stars instead of 4. Quite pricey, though. But it comes close to good quality.

The sushi was very tasty. It is a pity, though, that the ordered seaweed salad was missing from the pre-stapled carrier bag.

Heard great things about this place so I had to check it out, let's say this place lives up to its reputation. I tried an assortment of sushi and everything was delicious, all the ingredients were clearly of high quality. People running the place were friendly and service was fast. I'll definitely be back!

Ordered delivery. Delicious sushi! You can taste that it is fresh, there is a wide selection, and it was delivered relatively quickly. We will definitely do this more often!

We ate at the restaurant and, honestly, it felt a bit neglected and not very well maintained. It was also surprising that they don’t have a restroom available. We tried the sushi, which was okay—nothing special—and some fried dishes that were not very tasty. Overall, the experience was just average.

Got another Sushi Deluxe box tonight, and as always, it was a delight. Fresh, flavorful, and carefully prepared. We order from here often, and for good reason. Always good quality and highly recommended every time!

Had it delivered. Delicious food. Could have used a little mayonnaise on the California rolls? Ebi Maki was delicious. Always friendly delivery drivers at the door. As an added service, I was able to order a can of cola and pay cash. I paid for the rest by card. Very nice, I've been ordering from them for years. Always satisfied.

It seems like the rice has changed. Less flavor, tasteless. Otherwise, it's always great. The last two times I tried it, it was different than usual.

Great sushi for a good price. Very friendly service. I picked it up myself, but the atmosphere inside is small and cozy.

I was a regular customer until a delivery arrived that was so dirty and old I had to throw it away. I also found two very long gray hairs in my sushi. I threw everything in the trash. I called the store and told them I had to throw the food away, but they didn't believe me, and I had to send photos. Worthless store.

I have ordered sushi multiple times now (directly via Shinsei online) and it has never disappointed. The sushi is always fresh, the delivery is fast, and I find it ideal that you can also order by the piece or in sets of four. It is exceptional these days that both the quality and the service are so consistently good.

We ate at the restaurant itself. It's clearly a takeout restaurant, but the service and sushi are truly outstanding. We had our sushi within 5 minutes of ordering, and it was some of the best sushi I've ever had. Highly recommended!

Very tasty sushi, I can especially recommend the gyoza to eat at Shinsei.

It's not cheap but worth it, the only thing I miss is that the soy sauce, wasabi and ginger are not free.

If you want to introduce someone to sushi, take them here. I am a lifelong sushi lover and I can't remember the last time I had sushi this good.

The food was great, with one annoying drawback: no soy sauce was included. It was also delivered half an hour later than requested and confirmed. Compensation was promised, but I haven't heard anything since.

I feel like this place is a bit on the more expensive side although you don’t necessarily get better quality for it. The sushi rice was okay. The temaki were small with little fish, and the maki box had little fish as well the rettich maki was an odd and not really tasty addition. however, the sashimi was really good though! the quality tuna of the sashimi was better than of the other sushi. The yakitori tasted a bit too burnt imo, it wasn’t physically burnt but had quite a strong smoke aroma was not really my preference but for the price it was okay. All and all this place is fine.

Unfortunately this time the quality of the hot dishes, including spring rolls, fried shrimp and soy beans, was very poor. Tough and limp. Layers warmed up in microwave ☹️. Delivered exactly on time.

You can indicate in the order whether you want soy sauce/ginger/wasabi etc., I did not click on it, but I did receive it. Soy sauce no problem, but a waste of the wasabi and ginger supplied. That's the only point of attention as far as I'm concerned. Also delicious sushi!!

Amazing sushi place! Very tasty and complex flavours, and the price is not over the top as in most other places. Just be prepared to dine out, as they have only 3 small tables.

Here you can eat some of the best sushi in the area. It is takeaway, so that's why the atmosphere is 2 stars. We haven't found better sushi so far. They can certainly compete with Tanuki Japanese Eetcafé Gelderlandplein on quality.

Worst restaurant ever, ordered home delivery. Twice the boy lied on the phone that the delivery person was on his way. They are now closed and the building is dark AND NEVER HAD MY ORDER? If I could have given 0 stars I would have.

We really like this place. The staff is nice and the fish is always fresh. Our favorites are sashimis, nigiris and loempias although they have a lot of other good stuff.

Ordered via Thuisbezorgd today and received only 2 items out of 3 despite the receipt being correct. The sushi was good. One more thing, you should always order extra soy sauce as they provide quite a tiny amount included with sets.

Hands down best sushi of amstelveen and surroundings!! Everything is made fresh. The torikatsu is absolutely amazing (and cheap for a huge amount of delicious chicken) but also don't forget to try the salmon tetaki with yuzu sauce (it will melt on your tongue)

The sushi here is very fresh and tasty. Also quite a good value. One dish that I recommend is the Torikatsu, it's very crispy and tasty.

im so dissapointed, today its koningsdag and i was so excited to eat my sushi. i waited more then 2 hours and it didnt come, turns out they were closed. they took our money, and we didnt get the food.

Last time. We will never order from Sensei again. We and our friends have been getting sushi here for years. This time something went wrong with the salt (not the soy sauce). Extremely salty, unedible. Ordered for 60 euros so I called. The man on the other end of the line told me that they could deliver new ones but that it would take a while. That's good, I said. We waited, more than an hour later we received a call that it was not possible and that I had to solve it with his boss the next day. Naturally, I became quite irritated and told them that they had to fix their mistake, leaving us 60 euros poorer and with a rumbling stomach. A company that does not take responsibility when they make a mistake. I indicated that we want to eat now and that we have been waiting all evening for it. They couldn't do anything for us now, very uncustomer friendly!!!

Once again we enjoyed delicious sushi and sashimi. The warm chicken is wonderfully tender. I always pick it up and it's always ready. Handed over by friendly staff. Competition can take an example of this. Website and confirmation emails need to be improved with more and clearer details.

Truly the best sushi in a long time. The fish is very fresh and the sushi very tasty. The sushi was delivered fairly quickly. Point for improvement: We found the ordering site not very clear. A little more explanation, vegetarian sign indicating no meat or fish would be easy and there are not photos everywhere.
