Muldermolen in Wijk 05

On recommendation, we decided to dine out a little closer to home. It was a Sunday, right in the middle of the construction holidays, with an outside temperature of around 28-30 degrees Celsius. Luckily, there was a light breeze on the terrace. We started with a large tomato soup and garlic scampi. Both were delicious, served with bread and herb butter. Spareribs and pork tenderloin with a mushroom cream sauce were our main course. For dessert, we had a cappuccino and a strawberry sundae. The spareribs were tasty, but could have been grilled a little shorter. They were a bit dark. The fries, which were nicely served in a basket, were also unfortunately a bit hard. All in all, not bad. But we'll try something different next time. We had live music on the terrace once in spring, with beautiful weather.

A warm welcome at the Muldermolen! The waiter was friendly, attentive, and knew how to put a smile on our faces with a funny joke. The waitresses were also warm and hospitable. We felt completely at ease. Definitely a place to return to!

We had a really delicious meal here, super friendly service. Highly recommended. We had made a reservation online, and that did not go through properly, but that was not a problem.

Ate for two, two different dishes. Spareribs good. First sent back round steak because it wasn't rare. Second time wasn't good, but still accepted. Not well prepared. Seems to be steamed first and then on a plate. Very bland taste. Dessert: dame blanche. There was no more vanilla ice cream?? So chocolate ice cream. Tasted good but not really like dame blanche, an Irish coffee. Weak. Never had such a bad Irish coffee, watery whole. Two wines with it. Almost €80.... So we won't be coming here again. Good that the Muldermolen responded to my review 👍

Nice terrace in a beautiful location and extensive beer menu. Unfortunately, none of the waitresses found it necessary to come and take an order, so after a while we left again. According to other reviews, this seems to happen more often. Too bad!

Had a great meal with my girlfriend The prices were not bad except for the snack mix starter. This was a bit pricey but in total everything was definitely affordable. There was a small oopsie made the table next to us had ordered 2 glasses of wine this was on our bill. (We laughed out loud about it and mistakes happen.) Fortunately this was all resolved super fast and neatly before we even paid. By the way, ordering and paying can be done via a wr code that is stuck on every table! Thanks for the nice evening. Today after walking at the Muldermolen we went for a drink. Had to ask the staff to order a drink. Immediately asked to pay (because we saw that it took a long time for others), the girl came back with change, then we had to wait at least 10 minutes for our drinks. While there were about 10 people sitting outside and 10 people inside, with 4 staff. So the service was not that good, the drinks were okay.

May 5, 2025 3:00 PM. We walked in for a late lunch. Lots of young staff. We sat down at a free table on our own initiative because the staff only paid attention to clearing tables and putting down "reserved" signs... After waiting (too) long, we left... We experienced the same thing six months ago. Now we were in the area and thought we'd try again, unfortunately...

What a wonderful atmosphere in a fantastic location. The food is very good and the service very attentive.

Wat een vreselijk onvriendelijke man werk daar, iedere keer heeft hij commentaar op de rollator van mijn moeder!!!! Ben mu boos weggelopen en zitten nu bij oeil 5 in schinnen waar we super ontvangen worden!!! Het kan ook anders. Rare bij muldermolrn was het bijna leeg en peil 5 bijna vol!!!

We come there once in a while, it's just great and you get good food and excellent service. It is certainly atmospheric inside, but of course more for the colder days as it is also a bit dark. Food is of good quality, although I wouldn't take the carbonara :-) but tastes vary, but last week it had a strange aftertaste for me. But everything else is fine and the price/quality ratio is also good. It doesn't have to be anything more, good is just good. Hope you continue in the same way because we are satisfied ;-)

We waited for almost half an hour on their terrace, which was not even half occupied and yet no one came to take our order after waving several times. Ordering via QR code did not work, but we don't think this is the intention. Shame! They write about hospitality on their site, but this is not the case. I'm curious when the high season starts whether they will serve people on time? Kind regards

Good food, friendly staff. Sweet potato fries delicious, just a bit small. Too bad dogs are allowed. Personally, I don't think these belong in any eatery. Unless outside on a terrace and not in a closed conservatory. (No matter how sweet they are).

Great dishes! Loved eating there. Staff is super friendly and environment is gorgeous. Only downside when you're with small kids, is that the restaurant is situated next to a road with fast traffic and no good fence seperating the road from the restaurant grounds.

What a great place to stay. We had dinner here with a group of almost 30 people, a la carte! That was super efficient, service-oriented, friendly, all dishes were served at the same time per table and everyone was happy with his/her dish. Heel ruim appartement boven het restaurant ( absoluut geen geluidsoverlast ) Super douche, heel vriendelijke eigenaars en lekker eten. Mooie wandelingen mogelijk vanaf de locatie. Een aanrader! Minpunten · Een lampje boven de spiegel zou handig zijn, maar dat is maar een klein detail in dit geweldig appartement.

Had lunch today at De Muldermolen. Ordered at 12 noon, good and tasty. Except the fat Brood heaps. Really the end of the bread hidden under the small bouncer. Didn't get it cut let alone bitten. Waitress said this, but she said that is the quality of the bread. My colleague with the same order had normal sliced ​​bread.

Service and quality vs price were disappointing. We felt rushed by the waitress, constantly being pushed to order or finish our meal. The Angus burger was drenched in sauce, making it less enjoyable. Wouldn't recommend based on this experience.

What an unfriendly man in service. At first, parking a motorcycle was a problem, it had to be placed in a bicycle rack. Unpaved and too narrow, so it was not possible. After endless hassle in the sloping parking lot, I finally parked the motorcycle between the cars. There was another problem at checkout, this had to be done via one of the apps. Simply using the card was not possible with this strange figure. I have adjusted the tip to this hamster, €0.0. Too bad, we have been there before and were completely satisfied, but we will not go there again as long as this waiter is working there.

Wij hebben 1 week in 1 van de appartementen gelogeerd, welke een aanrader is. We hebben in de brasserie zowel lunch als diner gehad. Beide erg goed, heerlijk gegeten. Ontzettend vriendelijke eigenaren, en leuke bediening.

Nice location, large terrace. Plenty of goodies on the lunch menu. The 12 hour, the soup was well flavored and warm. Unfortunately the egg was too lukewarm. Sufficient parking spaces. During rush hour, parking is a bit too spacious, and then you quickly no longer fit in.

Very friendly service and good turnaround speed. Our starter, the seasonal soup, was asparagus soup and cost €8.50 (!). There was no asparagus to be found in it, but there were some thin strips of ham floating in it. The soup mainly consisted of thickener, was watery and therefore not very tasty. Quite a lot. The bread was OK, but the herb butter came in a pre-packed plastic tub and was crumbly instead of creamy. In the main course, Limburg sour meat (€ 18.95), it was really hard to find a piece of meat. This dish was also very strong and, despite the name, very sweet. We are not used to this. There was a little salad and a little (good) fries, but the total was on the mediocre side in terms of quantity. A surcharge of €0.80 per person was charged for the mayo with the fries. We have never experienced that at a restaurant with this price level. The Dame Blanche consisted of 3 scoops of ice cream, whipped cream and some chocolate sauce underneath. For the price of €9, we expected some warm chocolate sauce that you can pour over the ice cream. In terms of wine, the choice was limited to house wines, 2 white, 1 red (!), a rosé and a sweet. The converted price per bottle is €30/31, which is very expensive for a house wine. In short, the price-quality ratio is completely out of balance. Hence 1 star for the whole. For this money (€ 92 in total) you can eat much better in the immediate area!

Unfortunately, dinner was very disappointing. Carbonara from a jar with balasamico on top? Bacon was hard to find. A thoroughly fried August burger? Dry and tough with some BBQ sauce... lettuce from a bag and 1000 island dressing from Jumbo. Terrace on the asphalt. Lukewarm drinks. Unfortunately a disappointment. Far overpriced! Lunch a year ago was much better.

Het eten was heerlijk maar de bijgeleverde frietjes waren keihard, alsof ze al meerdere keren gefrituurd waren. We hebben er niks van gezegd omdat verder alles in orde was maar we gaan er niet meer naartoe.
