Just after we had ordered an ice cream and walked outside, a seagull flew up to an ice cream and snatched the ice cream off the cone. A second seagull snatched the cone out of my wife's hands in less than two seconds! A spectacular sight. The owner of Si immediately offered us a new ice cream! We didn't want that; after all, it wasn't Si's fault. After a laugh, we decided: Si got one scoop and we paid for the second. Now for the most important part; it was delicious ice cream!

Small scoops of ice cream in a cardboard cup… no ice cream sundaes but “cozy” with your paper cup and plastic spoon at a small table…. No more ice cream menus… and then paying almost 40 euros for 2 affogatos and 2 ice creams with 3 scoops and whipped cream Sorry, this is not normal

Tasty ice cream, but above all, good service. Our ice cream was immediately snatched away outside by an aggressive seagull; we received a new one for free. The seagull seemed to really enjoy the ice cream too, by the looks of it.

I was very surprised by the variety of reviews. I went and saw it for myself; it's a very nice environment, the staff are friendly, and I would like to say that I was very satisfied.

We went to Scheveningen on a beautiful spring day and felt like having an ice cream after a long walk. We were served very kindly and stayed seated for quite a while due to the pleasant atmosphere. I have read several reviews regarding the prices, stating that they are on the high side. In my opinion, the prices you pay are very appropriate for the location where you ordered. No one mentions the parking fees at that location or the other hospitality establishments where prices are also generally higher than elsewhere. If you choose to eat or have a drink in Scheveningen, whether in Amsterdam or The Hague... then you need to be prepared for that too. I was very curious about the reviews after my visit and saw that there were many varying reactions. In any case, I am satisfied after my visit and will certainly come back as soon as I visit Scheveningen again.

The place itself is a real big plus: a cozy, lively atmosphere where you can sit for a while with a view of the sea and the Pier, while enjoying your ice cream 🌊 The ice cream tastes good, with plenty of flavor choices. The service was friendly, although it was a bit slower during busy times. That is somewhat understandable given the location and popularity. The prices are on the higher side, but honestly, that is not surprising in the heart of Scheveningen. All in all, a nice spot for an ice cream by the sea, mainly due to the cozy atmosphere and the prime location. Definitely worth a visit if you are in Scheveningen and want to relax with something tasty 🍦

Flavorless ice cream. All the flavors seem the same. Even the chocolate ones manage not to taste like chocolate. No napkins, no smiles. The very cute setting is the only saving grace. There's much better. P.S. 2 flavors...5.50...not cheap.

I visited Scheveningen for the first time today and I can wholeheartedly recommend IJscaffè Sì to anyone who wants a delicious ice cream or espresso! Super nice and welcoming staff. I will definitely be back soon!

Espresso €4.50 without water or sugar, absolute nonsense; ice cream €3, a complete waste of money & it even tastes bad.

Anyone who advertises "Best Italian ice cream ever" should at least deliver on that promise! This ice cream was actually one of the worst mass-produced ice creams I've ever eaten :-(

Small scoops of ice cream, very little flavor. Looked more like factory ice cream than real Italian ice cream. And that for €2.50 a scoop. For me, no 'yes', but no for a next time!

There were five of us; two had ice cream, and one had a cappuccino. They couldn't even make us two decent lattes. Okay, we didn't speak Dutch very well, but we spoke very clear English and explained everything perfectly. They made a cappuccino, which was just a latte, and a latte meant a cup of coffee filled to the brim, and they gave us a milk capsule, even though we told them half coffee and half milk. Unbelievable! They looked at us like we were ordering a dragon with a unicorn horn... pathetic. They weren't friendly either, so I won't be going back, to be honest. They're only good because there aren't many places to get a coffee around here. And the quality of the coffee... they'd be better off sticking to ice cream.

My son said, "Mom, the ice cream here tastes awful." I can only agree; it's the most artificial strawberry ice cream I've ever tasted. There were no prices displayed, so it was a surprise at the checkout.

We were going to get 4 ice cream cups but seeing that they were filling them so little, we only got 2 for the kids, so as not to disappoint them. The ice creams have very little flavor. And there is little variety because many had run out. And they don't have a restroom, no matter how much you spend. I wouldn't go back, really.

This café is such a cozy and welcoming spot! The coffee is excellent, and the owners make your visit feel friendly and personal. The space is very clean, with a lovely interior design, and there’s a tempting selection of ice cream and other treats.

The ice cream is okay but has very little flavor. I did like the decor, though. But at an ice cream parlor, it's all about the ice cream, so they need to work on that. Very expensive for what you get.

I wanted to order a Dubai strawberry, I already saw a few strawberries in a cup (I thought they were show models because there was mold on one of the strawberries. He just took it from there, I said there was mold on it, he took it and said oh and put it back!!! 🤬🤬 never again for me

The seller doesn’t check the weight of the ice cream 1 scoop it can be 50-100 grams, it is very relative. I was gelato seller many years myself and I have never sold a single ice cream without checking the weight for the customer. Also the staff doesn’t know anything about the ice cream, the ingredients, what is sorbet and many more… and also the temperature of the freezer is very low and the gelato is like rock.

Absurdly expensive!! Prices are made up at will. Matcha for €6 on the menu was then charged €10 because the customer requested oat milk instead of regular milk. Absolutely outrageous. The cashier shows no insight or understanding!

The ice cream is ok, but way too expensive! 1 children's ice cream (1 scoop) and 1 scoop with whipped cream will cost you €7.55. So better to walk a bit or go back a bit and you will definitely get more value for your money!

Owner seemed friendly afterwards but we were helped by a young man. Has absolutely no idea how to deal with customers. The prices are really bizarrely high. A hot chocolate for 4.95 and if you want a bit of whipped cream on it you pay 1.75 extra. Well, speechless. Quality is nothing special.

This place has become beautiful because of the new owner (a very friendly man) and the atmosphere is therefore perfect. You can sit outside, sit inside and also get an ice cream. Ok, let's be honest, there are things on the menu that seem a bit expensive, but I think that's everywhere these days (unfortunately). I'm glad I came by spontaneously and therefore without judgment. The previous owner on the boulevard served the same ice cream sundaes, the same photos in the menu book. Really delicious. But... they are now TEN euros more expensive. 18 and 19 euros each for an ice cream sundae!!! Once but never again!

Vol goede moed ging ik naar deze ijssalon omdat ik mondeling goede recensies had gekregen. Maar het viel mij zwaar tegen. Niet dat het niet lekker was, maar het was niet bijzonders. En als 1 bolletje ijs vervolgens bijna € 2 kost, dan ben ik snel klaar. Nee, voor mij niet voor herhaling vatbaar.
