Haven't been here in years, but what a great place. The food is great and the service is super friendly. Deserved a big 10.

Delicious steaming pizzas that hang over the edge of your plate. Delicious crispy food, delicious flavors. The tables are a bit close together, but you forget that when you take the first bite

It's a great place that we've been to a few times and every time we come, children love it, have fun and eat delicious food. They are really good at pizza and pasta. The only thing we didn't like was the Tiramisu, but everything else was very good. The desserts offered especially for children are very nice. Their pasta and sauces are very good. You will want to come again. It should definitely be tried at least once. Prices are quite normal. In Europe, prices are more or less fixed since there is no logic of ripping off customers.

Slechte ervaring bij Napoli. Onvriendelijk personeel, dure extra’s, en een medewerker die wilde helpen werd niet gesteund door de bedrijfsleider. Hier komen we niet meer. Arrogantie en een gebrek aan klantgerichtheid.

Warm, veel lawaai, onvriendelijk personeel en de pizza was ronduit smerig. Ik had een pizza die zo vreselijk scherp was dat het echt niet te doen was. Toen ik het aan de bediening voorlegde haalde de betreffende dame haar schouders op. Toen mijn man en kinderen vervolgens een deel van hun pizza aanboden schoot ik daar niets mee op. Slap, nat, druipend in het vet. Bah! We zijn weggegaan en hebben thuis patat gebakken.

Terrible experience, had to wait an hour to get our food and they forgot to give us the bread with herb butter that we had ordered. When we asked about the delay the waitress was extremely rude and asked if we still wanted the food after 45 mins of waiting. They couldn’t even lie collectively, one waitress told us that the oven was having issues and the other told us the pizza fell. Watching every other customer being treated kindly except us 3 indian girls obviously sent out a clear message about the restaurant. The food in the end was alright but wasn’t worth an hour of wait. So disappointed with the service.

It seems. Just as slow, just as humorous, just as atmospheric. That's exactly what I want. Well done. We arrived in the afternoon and booked for Monday evening - and for good reason. Full fit - and we really liked it. Tasty.

The service was very friendly and helpful. Especially the lady from Romania was very cheerful and friendly. The entourage left something to be desired: peeling paint, cheap paper tablecloths, very old-fashioned. The pizzas were not cut and the base was very hard so it was difficult to cut it yourself. Taste was fine. Bread with butter beforehand, but that was difficult to eat because the butter was very hard and the bread was not easy to cut and divide. Shame; point of interest. Price, on the other hand, was fine.

Things were going so well, but now even worse. The street was clean. Ashtray included. No more butts on the street and now they are just there again. Is the kitchen just as dirty, you wonder? Gentlemen and women of Napoli, just put an ashtray outside and keep the Westerbinnensingel as clean as your kitchen

The restaurant was given two chances but unfortunately failed completely both times! First, pizza with a bone-hard base and uncooked vegetables with absolutely no taste; On the 2nd attempt we had bruschetta. Three tiny slices of baguette (diameter approx. 5cm) that were completely toasted and really rock hard. Then add a few pieces of tomato and a whole clove of garlic in approx. 1cm pieces and three leaves of rocket ????😳😳😳 Bruschetta needs basil €7.50!!!!

A beautiful place in the center of the old city, there is a lot of food, a lot on the plates. I ordered fish lasagna, it was tasty, but a lot.

Some foods are good, some not so much, but if you ever order food for delivery, you'd better avoid it. They don't know how to pack the food properly! The soup always spills everywhere. You end up cleaning the whole apartment, and there's no soup left to eat! If you order anything alongside the soup, you'll have a soupy sauce mixed into your food too! The way they pack it is ridiculous—such a shame.

Ordered pizza yesterday and had it delivered, my pizza had long human hair in it. We called, I was offered a new one and I had to wait another hour and a half for it. No more Napoli for me :)

Tomato soup was fine, the bread that came with it tasted a week old... I got a tripel affligen in a standard Heineken glass, when I asked if another glass was available the response was: a moment, then never a glimpse of it again seen the employee. The lasagna broccoli tasted like Brussels sprouts with cheese. And it was like an island in a sea full of sauce with the same old tasting bread. When an employee asked if it was tasty, I said no. I had to explain what was wrong. The answer was: tastes differ, nice to find out. I was asked to pass it on to the chef, but she didn't care, then I said it didn't matter to me either and I started writing this review.

Very good pizza! Not expensive, and portions are good. You have to cut the pizza yourself, which might just be a cultural difference from America, but it's a great place to share a meal with friends. Toppings are not evenly distributed (e.g. half of the pizza had ham, half had artichoke, etc.), which felt odd. We ate outside, and wasps invited themselves to our table which was funny but not the best experience. Eating inside is probably better, and you don't have to deal with any second hand smoke! Overall, would recommend.

Received wrong pasta, pizza took 15 minutes longer to prepare. So the pasta got cold… the fork was bent and the knife was not sharp. Not a nice experience. I did come across the protagonist of Shakespeare, but overall 2/5 stars.

I see a lot of mixed or bad reviews but I never experienced anything remotely bad at Napoli. Maybe I'm just lucky but the pizzas are good and arrive quickly, and the staff is friendly. Yes, you may get a few different waiters and sometimes there might be a bit of confusion because the waiters seem to be students but everyone who is complaining is acting like they are going to a high-end restaurant with expensive food. Napoli is a good place to get a dinner and a drink for two for about 35 euro in total so you get what you pay for and at Napoli the price/quality/quantity ratio is very satisfactory.

Little taste, burnt cheese taste, it could be that pizza is okay, but pasta and lasagna are not recommended. Maybe it also depends on who is in the kitchen. But don't just come back again.

Bread that comes with everything is tasteless...main course, way too much sauce. Calzone pizza has a thick dough edge. Once, but never again. Atmosphere and service mediocre.

Typical inner-city Italian for “walk-in customers” who don’t come back anyway. Had Pizza Frutti Di Mare, which didn't deserve the name. My wife had pasta that was drowned in the “cream” sauce and was probably already warmed up. Overall not tasty and not cheap either.

The pizza was tasty, it took half an hour before it was served. I found it difficult to cut, but that was probably due to the knife. I come here often and liked that the friendly service was in Dutch this time. There is little space between the tables and chairs, there are simply too many tables and chairs. The reason is understandable, but I prefer to sit with a little more space.

Tasty pizza Calzone special! The bruschetta was also very good. The taste of the pizza with asparagus and brie was a bit dominated by the bolognese sauce, but otherwise good! Good quality/price ratio!

Pizza was a bit wet, my daughter's pizza had a hair on it and was resolved well. Friendly people. Very busy and therefore difficult to have a conversation.

Nooit meer. In het begin moesten we lang op ons drinken wachten en voor dat de bestelling werd opgenomen. Het was ook aardig druk, waardoor het ergens te begrijpen was. Als voorgerecht hadden we bruschetta's. We kregen maar 1 keer bruschetta aangeboden, waarbij 1 stokbroodje helemaal zwart was. Na het melden, krijgen we nieuwe. Bij het serveren van de hoofdgerechten kreeg 1 van ons pizza met ingrediënten waar ze bij het bestellen om had gevraagd eraf te halen. Daarnaast kregen van ons 4en, 1 iemand zijn pizza niet. Deze was niet doorgeven aan de keuken, waardoor deze pizza nog bereid moest worden. Een stel naast ons, kreeg ook 1 pasta i.p.v. 2 bestelde pasta's. Heel erg slecht, wij gaan er nooit meer heen, het verpest je avond.

Pizza 4 seasons: very salty and very simple.

This place is gross. The pizza dough is incredibly hard. The sauce is tasteless. And they have a huge problem with salt. It seems that they goal is to increase the number of hypertensive patients in the Netherlands. My advice: order form Domino’s or Papa John’s. This place is disrespectful with the city of Napoli and the entire Italian culture.

I was passing by on a bike trip on a rainy day, so stayed outside to keep an eye on the bike. The staff was super friendly and even watched over my bike for a couple of minutes as I went inside to the toilet.

Terrible service and incredibly selfish. After waiting an hour for my food, Napoli in Groningen canceled the order without informing me. I can only advise against ordering from this restaurant!!

Ordered pizza. Inedible, tasteless and extremely greasy. The crust was just limp from the grease. :s This was the case the last time, never again.

After the not great experiences with the previous owner of Napoli (little fresh and many frozen ingredients), I took the plunge and gave the new owner a chance to show us that things can be done differently. Ordered a pasta and a pizza with some minor adjustments. (some off and some extra on). After some time the pasta arrived on the table. Apart from the fact that the cook is probably very fond of olive oil because the pasta was swimming in it, the taste was reasonable. Eating out is so much fun because you can enjoy your meal together at the same time. Sitting and watching a table companion eat while you are still waiting for your meal is of course not fun. Busy, lack of communication between the pasta and pizza kitchen is no excuse. This is your profession and you have to deal with this every day, so if you can't do that, you should find another hobby. After fifteen minutes my pizza finally arrived. Unfortunately, all the little changes I had reported were not reflected when preparing the pizza. They offered to make the pizza again. In the meantime, my girlfriend had already finished eating and we didn't feel like waiting any longer for the pizza I had ordered. We went home where I made myself a cheese sandwich. So once but never again.

I find it very annoying that when you go out to eat at a restaurant you don't get the food at the same time, which happened to us with the starter, main and dessert. Your group will already start eating otherwise it will get cold while you are waiting for your meal to appear. Ordering tap water is also not allowed during the first round, very childish if you ask me. They brought the cutlery with them for the starter, then I had to ask for new cutlery for the main course. It all took a very long time and the table next to the entrance, which means you are in a draft all evening, is not ideal, even though you make a reservation in advance... Leave that table for the people who want to go at the last minute. please come and eat. All in all not an ideal place. It's cheap and the food is okay and that's all.

The food is really perfect. Just a pity that the front part closes early in the evening, so you end up in the noisy part.

Ordered 3 lasagna. 1 container is fine and tasty as always. The other 2 lasagna seemed old with a rock hard bottom. Bread that came with it seemed old. Too bad, we have eaten well here for years, but not again for us for a while

Seated and waited for 20 minutes before staff came to even take our order. Waited for another 15 minutes, with no drinks having arrived. Waited another 15, after having asked, and still nothing. Was told they were 'busy'. Finally waited 15 more minutes and still no drinks. Terrible service.

The service was poor. We waited 10 minutes for someone to take our order. Even 30 minutes after ordering, our drinks had not arrived. We asked the waitress several times, but she only responded with, "It is very busy, sorry." We left after that, no drinks, no food.

Sat on the terrace. Delicious food and pleasant service. But a lot of nuisance from the bunch of pathetic students who live above: shouting, smell of alcohol and throwing empty cans.

Super pizza restaurant, have been coming there since I was little, always good quality food for a normal price

A nice Italian restaurant with good food and nice friendly staff. We went with my 2 year old and they had high chairs and provided pencils so she could draw on the tablecloth which was nice. Food and drink was nice and the place had a good atmosphere with a visit.

a long list of pizzas of all varieties - I ate Montanara - it came quite fast - but it was very lousy . Ham and salami where somehow pressed meat, of lousy quality. I ordered some hot sauce - which is servedat all other pizzerias of the world free of charge within the house service- for one spoon of hot sauce I was charged 2 Euros extras. the housewine was ok.

Restaurant Napoli in Groningen gave us a fantastic culinary experience! From start to finish we were spoiled with delicious dishes and excellent service. The pizza and pasta were sublime, with flavors that transport you straight to Italy. The baguette beforehand was a delight, large in size and made from delicious pizza dough. Julia deserves a special mention, who served us in a friendly and knowledgeable manner. An absolute must for anyone looking for authentic Italian dishes and warm hospitality. We will definitely come back!

This pizzeria is located just outside the city center of Groningen on the Astraat. It had been on my list for a while and today was the day I had dinner here. All the ladies in the service were very friendly and hospitable (big +). However, the name Napoli is not worthy of this case. My starter, the carpaccio, was still reasonable, but my pizza (Maffiosa) was just not tasty. Both the dough and the topping (way too much and too coarse) were not ok. The shop itself, on the other hand, is nicely decorated (only the chairs are not comfortable). All in all a tight three ⭐️⭐️⭐️

It's a nice restaurant if you want large portions for decent prices. The food itself was alright, the pizza bottom was a bit soggy/undercooked in my opinion, but for the rest it was alright. They also offer takeaway options if you can't finish your meal. The servers were very friendly!

Lasagne super salty, I couldn't finish them because it was a bit unpleasant. It was a second time and both of the times the food was very oily and salty. Staff was nice but it took long time for someone to come to take our order. Before ordering a dessert we assured we have enough time left before closing, and we were told the place close in 1 hour. Only to see someone vacuum while we were eating tiramisu. I am not planning to come back for repetitive below average experience. Don't recommend.

If you like salty and oily pizza with a soggy bottom, this is your place to be. I've had way better pizza elsewhere. The staff was defensive when I told them my comment after they asked how the food was. They stated the pizza was oily due to the meat on the pizza. To me, however, there seemed to be an abundance of oil relative to the amount of meat that was on the pizza.

As an Italian restaurant, they unfortunately did not have Italian drinks such as Aperol and Campari. In addition, no nice mood lighting, the chairs sliding makes such a noise and goes through the marrow and bone. Not recommended. Pick up is a better idea, the pizzas are tasty!

A nice restaurant inside, cheap for students. Unfortunately I had a pasta where there was a kind of fat soup at the bottom of the plate, but the rest of the table had good food and no complaints.

Great Napoli style pizza at a good price point. Staff is friendly. Though I must say my food doesn’t always come out hot.

Vesta “residential forum Peizerweg” orders pizza and pasta for the staff every Thursday and that is always delicious. But after today I have to give them an extra compliment, we entered the wrong time and the dishes were delivered at half past three and we can only eat at half past six. Easy 5 stars and fairly well priced menu, would recommend. Maybe they can also add a touch of background music. Service is always quick and friendly. Pizza portions are good, pasta portions are great! The only criticism would be the annoyance of only being able to pay with a maestro card, which frankly is silly since most places accept most of the major cards like Visa and Mastercard.

Goedkope maar zeer lekkere pizza's. Zelfs met een miscommunicatie waardoor onze reservering niet goed was doorgekomen hebben ze toch nog plek weten te maken voor 7 mensen. Wel een beetje krapjes en vrij druk, maar we hoefden niet al te lang te wachten op eten. Had eerder 4,5 gegeven als ik kon maar Google heeft die optie niet en ik wil de negatieve ervaringen toch ook een beetje 'weg reviewen'.

Sfeerrijke pizzeria in hartje Groningen. We waren er vrij vroeg op een vrijdag, maar tegen 18.00 uur zat het al bijna vol. Je zit dan wel vrij dicht op elkaar. Stuk voor stuk vriendelijke personeelsleden. De gegrilde ossenhaas is een aanrader. Er werd spontaan aangeboden om het resterende deel van de pizza in te pakken om mee te nemen (nee hoeft niet) en een extra lepel te serveren bij het enige ijsje (hoeft ook niet, maar toch bedankt). Enig minpuntje: op de rekening was dat ene ijsje a 7 euro twee keer opgevoerd. Het te veel betaalde geld werd na reclamatie echter meteen zonder discussie terugbetaald.

Een goede plek voor fijne sfeer en prima eten. Prima porties en vriendelijke bediening.

Good value and substantial meals. Service had a little hiccup but recovered well. The seafood lasagne and the bistecca gorgonzola were tops. The gluten free pizza was ok the ham on it was average though.

Matige pizza, alleen engels sprekend personeel. Volgens mij wonen we nog altijd in Nederland. Pizzeria ziet er wat verwaarloosd en viezig uit. Weinig ruimte tussen de tafels, je bijna bij elkaar op schoot Kortom geen aanrader.
