Closed, but should be open according to timetable

We hadden zin in lekkere pizza en kwamen bij Vapiano terecht. De bediening was prima, hoewel we vrij lang moesten wachten op onze pizza. Het wachten was echter de moeite waard, want het eten was heerlijk.

I read in the media that you're permanently closed. Please tell me that's not true! You have no reason to be. You're a thriving business, judging by the number of customers and reviews. Come on! Open that business up.

The food was delicious, but it took a while before we received our order.

Bad location here in Groningen. Ordered things are not served and when you ask they say it is coming, which is not the case. Expired drinks with mold floating in them. Moreover, half of the people here speak English, but I think that irritates several people.

Only suitable if you have never heard of Italy. The food is sooooo bland and student-like. The service has no idea but means well. A very limited, Dutchized menu without challenge. Suitable for kids and students, but above their budget I guess. Not for me again.

Food was good just that noise.. a relaxed. It's time they put up some curtains and sound-absorbing panels. This does not make the atmosphere pleasant.

The food was cold and not fresh. It takes a very long time to receive my meal. The table was not clean. It was cold in the restaurant.

Very disappointing experience, eating out is the concept of being able to eat together. One person got the food, and after waiting more than 40 minutes and indicating twice that it was taking very long, we left. No idea how this company can survive like this. Hopefully things will get better soon, otherwise I have a hard time knowing that they will continue to exist.

Good food for a cheap price, especially compared to most places in Groningen. You can always drop by to grab some food. It's very easy to order with your phone, and you pay instantly so you can easily share the bill and leave when you're done. You get a variety of choices for the pasta and the portions are good. The atmosphere is very cosy, you can watch the chefs 👨‍🍳 prepare your food or sit by the window to watch the city.

The food Taste fine, you can't only customise your pizza or pasta (only take some things off or ad some but can't choose for a pizza base with Crème fraise for example. You barely have contact with te people working there and have to Handle everything by ap and pay every time when you're ordering a dish or drink( annoying) tables and toilet dirty. Liked that they had herbs on the tables

My first Italian restaurant to try here in Groningen but I love it right away. My fave menu here is mushroom risotto with spicy tomato sauce and orange-chocolate cake. It was perfect for me. The food is freshly made but it doesn't take long to be served. Very convenient service with online order n payment system. The location is also strategic, easy to find because it is also just beside landmark building Forum. For me personally, I love the vibe because it plays 90s songs...best music of all times.

Delicious food (recommended pasta everywhere). and it is very convenient that you can order your food with a QR code. and if you click on a pasta you can also decide everything yourself, for example what type of pasta you want and there are many more options.

great concept, but the execution and hospitality could be a lot better.

First time we decided to go to Vapiano because we still had an hour and fifteen minutes until a performance at the theater. The restaurant was already starting to empty, but it still took almost 45 minutes for our order to arrive. Extremely long for such a restaurant. In the meantime, we were amazed by the dirty bins in the middle of the tables, the dead basil plant and the messy toilets. The crutches were not comfortable. I had the spinach and tomato pizza on top of which was pesto and on top of which a handful of cold raw spinach pie and a bowl of ice cold chopped tomato chunks (from the fridge?) thrown in. The same one about bruschetta. The taste itself was good, but it was much too cold. The carpaccio pizza was also not a success. Shame. We won't come again.

Where do I even begin... Internet inside is horrendous, whether it is their wifi or mobile data which wouldn't have been an issue if the whole food/drink ordering wasn't done online 'for convenience'... Takes forever to get your order if you manage to go through the ordering process... Overall if you can avoid it, please do yourself a favor and sit literally anywhere else...

Food is taking FORVER… waaayyy too long for this type of restaurant

We waren met z’n vieren op koopavond en wilden een vlugge hap en dan door met winkelen. Dan lijkt Vapiano net wat. Het restaurant was vol. Bestellen via de Qr-code lukt niet, ook bij de andere tafels niet. Pizza’s bij de kassa besteld en duurde ruim een uur voordat ze kwamen. Slappe pizza, wel prima smaak. Om ons heen klaagden meer gasten over de lange wachttijden van eten en ook drinken (30 minuten). Een bedrijfsleider merkte op dat wij wel heel lang op ons eten hadden gewacht en bood gratis drankje aan. Dat was erg vriendelijk. Al met al nog steeds slechte ervaring.

Portions are very large, good price/quality ratio. The food arrived fairly quickly. It was very monotonous and had little taste.

Ich hatte Gorgonzola-Risotto mit Hähnchen (13,65€) und es hat in Ordnung geschmeckt. Man bestellt und bezahlt online. Es gibt kostenlosen WLAN, aber man muss dafür den Namen und Email eingeben

Lekker en gezellig studentikoos restaurant

Het eten is prima. Bediening is traag en eten komt niet tegelijk Aan het eind konden we geen dessert bestellen omdat het systeem drie keer vastliep.

Het internet was binnen best wel langzaam wat het moeilijk maakte om via de QR code te bestellen. Verder wel lekker gegeten! Vind de bankjes nooit heel comfortabel zitten maar dat is in alle filialen zo.

Misschien was het op andere dagen beter, ik zag idd ook dat het personeel haast had. Maar ik kreeg eerst een verkeerde bestelling. Toen werd mijn pizza meegenomen en ontbrekende ingredient op gekwakt en teruggebracht. Mijn tafelgenoot kreeg ook een bestelling met ontbrekende producten. En toen ik uiteindelijk de toetje crema di nutella wilde bestellen, was dit ook op. Jammer!

Atmosphere is great, no doubt about that, but I did not really enjoy the meal. My first problem was with the menu itself… even though I could choose which pasta do I want, I could not really imagine, how does it look like (I think that some kind of picture Or graphic for pasta would be a big help). I ordered carbonarra with taggiatele, which didnt really have anything in common with proper carbonarra. There was no pepper, I couldnt really feel the pecorino cheese (if there was any) and for some reason there was quite a lot of parsley and onion (which is definitely not part of traditional carbonarra). On the other hand, wine was great with the pasta. I had chardonnay which I really enjoyed.

Das Restaurant war sehr modern eingerichtet im VaPiano Stil.Die Kellner rannten alle mit Headsets rum um die Bestellungen aufzunehmen.Mir war das alles zu hektisch und ohne Ruhe mit Genuß.Die Bestellung hat auch nicht richtig geklappt.Wir haben ohne Knoblauch bestellt aber mit Knobl. bekommen.Das Essen war für den recht hohen Preis auch nicht viel. Man konnte satt werden,aber ein richtiges Highlight war es nicht.

Selbst im Restaurant Bestellung zunächst nur per HandyApp - innerhalb der App konnte dann nicht mit Visa-Karte bezahlt werden - also alles wieder zurück und doch bei einer Servicekraft bestellt. Nicht alle Neuerungen sind auch sinnvoll!!??!!

One of the best Italian restaurant in Groningen if not one of the best in general. The staff was friendly and the wait time was around 15 minutes.

Mangiato risotto al gorgonzola e noci con un bicchiere di vino bianco. Per essere in Olanda... Direi che non era male, il gusto delicato e cremoso, il riso cotto un po' più del necessario. Nell'insieme comunque una cena discreta. Eravamo in tre (italiani) e abbiamo mangiato lo stesso tipo di riso, speso in tutto 53,00 euro. Consigliato se si vuole qualcosa di caldo, veloce nel servizio e location centrale e molto piacevole. Ps intravisto bellissima terrazza all'ultimo piano!

Een modern ingericht restaurant. Lekkere pasta's! Miste er wel een beetje de Italiaanse sfeer.

Das Essen war gut. Das Restaurant wird ein wenig lieblos behandelt. Tische dreckig, Basilikum & Rosmarin vertrocknet. Der Service war nett und freundlich.

Very bad first experience. I ordered pasta aglio e olio for take away and even before I opened the package I could feel a very strong smell of something being burnt. Turned out to be the garlic…

Het eten is prima en ze hebben ook glutenvrije opties. Vind het wel absurd dat ze om een tip vragen terwijl je ter plaatse besteld via je telefoon.

Het eten was goed voor een restaurant als dit. Hoe durven ze fooi te vragen voor dat je gegeten hebt! Misschien ouderwets van mij maar ik vind dit totaal niet normaal. Fooi baseer je op de service en kwaliteit van eten.

Pasta besteld met extra kaas en kip. Ook voor betaald, niet gekregen helaas.

Eten meer dan prima. Goede pizza en ruim belegd. Het is aan de lawaaierige kant en niet erg schoon. Op verzoek werd onze tafel nog schoongemaakt. Het concept heeft voor- en nadelen, waarbij het grootste voordeel is dat je niet afhankelijk bent geworden van serveersters die naar eigen goeddunken mensen helpen. Voor een romantisch avondje uit zou ik deze overslaan, voor een goede pizza zonder gedoe kan je hier prima terecht.

Leuk concept, zelf pasta en pizza samen stellen, je kan via je mobiel bestellen e. Betalen dus weinig tot geen contact met de medewerkers. Niet veel sfeer maar voor de snelle hap prima!

Beste Vapiano, Ik betreur ten zeerste dat de fanshop niet meer bevat over een trui. Ik hoop dat dit alsnog toegevoegd kan worden. Verder zou patat met een oerhollandse frikandel goed op de menulijst passen. Als laatste was mijn aardbei bedorven in het drankje (zie foto). Verder toprestaurant, al vaak geweest en altijd leuk! De trui is uit de fanshop :( Had bijna genoeg punten verzameld!! Kan dit nog geregeld worden??? Ook was de aarbei in ons drankje of bedorven of had die een gek zwart plekje, verder altijd top plek!! Ik kom hier vaak en het valt nooit tegen! (Misschien kan patat op de menu lijst naast pasta en pizza nog een toevoeging zijn??)

Vapiano - wir sollten per QR-Code bestellen. Leider war nicht alles, was es in der Speisekarte gab, im Angebot. Also mussten wir bei der Kellnerin bestellen und gleich bezahlen. Lasagne war sehr lecker. Die Portion war relativ angemessen. Man konnte auch draußen sitzen, aber es war sehr windig.

We had food and dessert, it was good , pasta was delicious and pizza as well . Good service, i just felt bad that they have to up and down stairs all the time .

Tasty food, overpriced, annoying order process, details below. Qr code online order restaurant. Normally i dont mind using an online menu to order but with this establishment their wifi was not functioning and the 5g/4g connection was terrible, had zero bars inside so me and many other guests had to walk outside with our phones in the air to order. Ordered lasagna for almost 16 euros. Portion was small but tasted allright, absolutely overpriced when you can take into account that the only service you get is the people bringing your food to the table.

Na goede ervaringen in het verleden weer een keer naar Vapiano gegaan. Het restaurant was vrij leeg en sterke verlichting geeft de sfeer van een vreetschuur. Niets romantisch aan. Nog minder romantisch is dat je uitsluitend met je smartphone kan bestellen en ieder gerecht afzonderlijk vooraf met Ideal moet betalen, waarna het wordt bereid en gebracht. We hebben best lekker gegeten, maar zeker geen wow ervaring. De spaghetti was niet al dente , naar te lang gekookt. Vapiano staat voor ons nu gelijk aan eten bij de Mac Donalds. We zullen er vermoed ik nooit meer komen.
