Food was excellent and a lot of fun was had even with a few service mixups.

Higher expectations. The starters were fine and the service was friendly. Still, quite disappointed! The kitchen closed quite early, poor acoustics and much too loud music, the chicken main course was bone dry and the staff did nothing with our feedback, no more coffee with dessert because they had already turned that off, and to top it all off, the chairs were already being put on the tables while there were still guests.

We were there on a special evening with a guest chef from Madrid. Small menu, but that was perfect. After all, you want to taste everything. The appetizers and starters were sublime, but the main course couldn't really keep up. Because it was a special menu, elaborating further isn't worthwhile. It won't be repeated anyway. The service was okay, but could be better. Poor consideration was given to who at the table had still or sparkling water. It was poured incorrectly several times. We also had four different servers at the table. It made things a bit chaotic. The wine list isn't really anything to write home about, so we didn't look at it any further. The cocktails were fantastic! Truly next level. All in all, a good restaurant with fantastic food, but the service could be better. The chairs were reasonably comfortable, even for someone 195 cm tall and weighing 100 kg.

Awesome Nikkei fusion restaurant. The fish starters were all excellent. The standout for me was the scallop ceviche, and for my partner the corvina aguachile. We both enjoyed the grilled chicken with makhani and hollandaise a lot. The desert was also perfectly balanced with the dark chocolate and passionfruit ice cream with crunchy pecans and quinoa tuile. The cocktails were great. Service was friendly and attentive. Great ambiance and music selections from the DJ. We will be back.

The bartender who gave each guest personalized advice and mixed the perfect cocktail. The opportunity to taste the wines and receive excellent recommendations. A Little Gem in De Pijp Yesterday we dined at Nazka for the second time, and once again, we were absolutely blown away. In a city like Amsterdam, where these days you find burgers, steaks, and especially fries on almost every corner, Nazka is a breath of fresh air for us. A true oasis in the culinary desert. The dishes are all exceptional. The combination of freshness, intense flavors, creativity, and flawless execution is truly on another level. Everything is prepared with such care and passion that it's clear Chef Koosh Kothari has mastered his craft. I'd actually like to mention every single dish, but then this review would be far too long. The service also deserves high praise. Warm, attentive, and professional, with a lovely international flair. A special thanks to the French waitress who, upon learning by chance that it was my partner's birthday, spontaneously organized a wonderful surprise for us. That kind of personal attention makes the evening even more special and completed our experience. ❤️ We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and can't wait to return. Nazka is, without a doubt, a must-visit for anyone who appreciates unique flavors, warm hospitality, and truly excellent cuisine. We'll definitely be back! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Very rude employees. We requested for a table while it was almost empty. They said in a rude way there was no place for us while acknowledging there were no reservations for the empty tables. If you dont want to service people from certain backgrounds at least be open about it.

Amazing combination of Peruvian and Indian cuisine. The flavors work perfectly together. From the name NAZKA I expected a bit more influences from Peru, yet great experience here, and the staff was very friendly. They even brought a birthday card with a small birthday candle for my partner's birthday. You have to be careful for extra costs though, the staff is encouraged to bring more drinks or ask you to order more food. All together would recommend.

My girlfriend and I had a fantastic evening at NAZKA. From the moment we entered, we were warmly welcomed, and the stylish, relaxed atmosphere immediately ensured a lovely start to the evening. For the main course, I chose the sirloin steak, which was perfectly prepared: tender, flavorful, and beautifully presented. We enjoyed a delicious bottle of Chilean red wine with it, which paired excellently with the dish. We concluded the evening with a surprising and refined dessert, the perfect ending to a delicious dinner. The service was friendly, attentive, and offered good recommendations without being pushy. You can tell that a lot of attention is paid to both the quality of the food and the overall experience. Highly recommended for a cozy evening for two. We will definitely be back!

What a fantastic experience on Van Ostadestraat. Everything was taken care of down to the last detail, and the presentation of every dish was truly a work of art. I found the soup with the purple clover leaves to be a particularly beautiful and flavorful detail. The cocktails were also delicious and formed a perfect start to the evening. I had a wonderful evening at Nazka. Dining out alone at a fine restaurant can sometimes feel a bit strange, so I felt all the more comfortable in the lively atmosphere. The food was interesting and expertly prepared, but the star of the evening was the South American wine pairing. A white wine from Uruguay? A light red from Bolivia? Both were fantastic surprises – hats off to the sommelier! I would definitely go back.

Inventive and beautifully presented fusion between Peruvian and French cuisine. Flavours were outstanding with the accents of Peruvian herbs and scents. Terrific somalier let us have multiple tastings before choosing our wine. Nice upscale casual atmosphere. There was a nice vibe going.

It is like being in Peru for a moment! Nazka perfectly replicates Peruvian Nikkei cuisine. Wonderful flavor combinations in both fish and meat dishes. We had the opportunity to taste several wines that paired well with the dishes. Top-notch service, we will definitely be back! When making a reservation, please pay attention to whether you are choosing the chef's menu or à la carte.

What a wonderful dining experience at Nazka! The staff was very friendly; we were surprised by the number of staff members walking around. We were served quickly, and they regularly came to ask if everything was to our liking. A minor point of criticism was that the coordination among them wasn't entirely smooth, resulting in two different waiters coming to ask if we wanted to order something on two separate occasions. The dishes had surprising flavors; not too explosive in taste, but well-balanced. We personally found the starters and the dessert to be the highlight. We ordered three courses with a side dish, and this was more than enough. The portions are quite large for a fine dining restaurant, ensuring you leave feeling well-fed. For those with a bigger appetite, you could add an extra course or dish. The atmosphere was pleasant; modern yet informal.

Incredibly good, and in my opinion, at a fair price. Each course was unique, and I loved the little cards explaining the inspiration for each dish. The cocktails were phenomenal, and I would like to go back and try more of them because I only sipped what my friends had ordered. You can’t go wrong with the wine pairing - I thought the sommelier did a great job picking wines that paired very nicely with each dish. The flavors were complex and made me close my eyes with each bite and each sip. The vibe in the restaurant was not stuffy at all, it felt fun and warm. I hope to return soon!

The food is absolutely amazing. Cocktails are top notch. Good atmosphere. But the portions are incredibly small. I frequently eat in Michelin star restaurants and never leave still hungry.. but here I did. Had 3 à la carte courses. Ceviche, pulpo, dessert. All lovely taste though.

One of my favorites for a date night whether it’s with girl(s) or my boyfriend! Classy and just a step above casual, with really nice cocktails and food. Also had a glass of white and red chosen by the staff. We had oysters, lychee canapé, ceviche, bavette, and yucas bravas. All super fresh, savory, salty, and sometimes sour and just all around balanced in taste and texture and just delicious 🤌 The staff are also so friendly and approachable - noticeably different from the average experience.

Highly recommended! Both the food and the cocktails were exquisite. The ceviche is especially recommended, but everything we ate was delicious. It's expensive, but the price is totally justified. The chef is a former cook from Central de Perú, and it shows. We'll be back!

Great menu if you pick the course menu. Lovin the ambience

After visiting NAZKA, two things stick with me. 1: the dessert. During the fourth course, they finally managed to bring different flavors together. For me, the highlight of the evening. 2: the farewell, cold and chilly. You've paid, and they don't even look back at you (except for the lady washing the tea lights at the exit, who was extremely friendly and apologetic). When I thank the five bar staff members (in English, of all places, to accommodate the non-Dutch speakers) and wish them a pleasant evening, and I get no response because they're more busy with each other, I'm completely blown away. NAZKA has been on my list for a long time, but I quickly removed it from that list. In short, I wouldn't recommend it.

We had a fantastic evening at Nazka, not only because of the delicious food but also because of the staff. Kudos to everyone, but especially to Alessandro, the sommelier. I brought champagne and wine from my daughter's birth year, and they were served beautifully and he gave them a positive review. What a wonderful evening!

Great Valentine’s menu; I’d definitely recommend this restaurant. The dishes were beautifully prepared, full of flavor, and pleasantly surprising. A small side dish or some bread with the mains would have made it even better, but overall the food was excellent. I was dining with someone who is partly Peruvian, and she really appreciated the authenticity and quality of the cuisine, which says a lot. The only small downside was that it was a bit cold sitting by the window, as it was mid-winter and the windows didn’t seem to be double-glazed. Other than that, we had a really lovely evening.

The food is absolutely delicious. The issue is: we came in hungry and we left hungry.

The food was exceptional. Every dish was delicious and beautifully prepared. Unfortunately, the service did not match the same standard. We were seated in front of the kitchen with a lot of background noise despite many empty tables that were left empty throughout the whole evening, and for about 45 minutes dishes arrived incorrectly and in the wrong order. My companion’s wine was also served long after ordering two times and by then my cocktail had already been arrived and finished. None of these issues were acknowledged or apologised for. The kitchen truly deserves praise, but the overall experience was affected by the service.

Good. High in acidity. Expected. Ceviche... but a bit too acidic with the chili in all dishes except dessert. The wine menu complemented the menu perfectly, except for the red wine with the monkfish. I would recommend a full-bodied white wine, but that's a matter of taste. The service was correct and friendly, but a bit too unpersonal and routine; there's room for laughter, people, it's a night out. Enjoying life is allowed. Even at work. The atmosphere was good overall. The food was good, but less than expected. At 318 euros for 2 people, it was a bit too much for what was offered. But hey: it's just an opinion; expensive doesn't exist.

With each course, all beautifully presented and truly otherworldly, we were served a plant-based drink. The combinations are surprising and truly high-quality, both in the food and drinks. Throughout the four courses, we received extremely friendly service, received extensive explanations about the culinary journey we were taking, and were occasionally, but not too often, asked if everything was to our liking. For anyone who wants to experience the wonders of Peruvian cuisine and enjoys a fine dining experience, Nazka is highly recommended. I will definitely be back!

Just left the restaurant. Conclusion: I left hungry… so please when you go: 1) don’t come there when you are hungry? 2) go with the expectation it’s more about the taste than the amout of food (in other words: small portions etc) I really think they should do bigger portions for the amount of money you pay. 2 stars cuz of the frustration with being hungry. If I was not: it would be a 4.7 out of 5.

Another lovely evening at Nazka. The team are warm and attentive, and they take great care with coeliac needs for my partner. Cooking remains consistently excellent, with refined presentation that makes each visit feel unique and memorable. This is the place we book first and ahead of every trip to Amsterdam. We enjoyed both ceviches, the best of our visits so far. Both were fresh with vibrant mouth watering flavours. The bavette was again cooked to perfection with a sauce we really enjoyed, and the pesca was fresh and satisfying as a generous main. Cocktails were well made, and the pacing of the meal felt just right. A night at Nazka is not to be missed.

Definitely nothing on the menu was Peruvian. It's marketed as a Peruvian restaurant, but only the facade and some ingredients are from Peru; it's not real Peruvian food. Yes, it's gourmet, but even with that, it's not the taste of Peru. I'm not saying it has to be 100% the same, but there wasn't even a lomo saltado on the menu. So, in my opinion, it doesn't qualify as a Peruvian restaurant or for Peruvian flavors.

while im not a big fan of fine dining (more of a burger guy) the flavor pallette is something else, its a tasteful journey, an experience of a kind, strongly recommend trying it out

The food was really nice and the staff were kind. However, for a place that’s considered fine dining, there is room for improvement to meet that standard. We understand that weekends are usually busy, but despite having a reservation, our table was not ready when we arrived. We ordered the tasting menu, and one of the dishes took almost half hour to arrive. No one noticed the delay until we raised the issue. The staff handled it well once we pointed it out, which we appreciated, but unfortunately the overall vibe was already affected. There was also a mistake on the bill. We were charged for three espressos when we only had one. They corrected it, but altogether these experiences did not meet our expectations except dishes.

Loved the whole experience of the place from the decor, the staff, the ambience, the food and drinks. We got a tasting menu for 1 of us and then a mix of food for the other and shared everything so we got to experience a wide range of food. There's a lot of interesting tastes, textures and looks to every dish with some real Peruvian authenticity to it all.

Had the 4 dish tasting menu and ordered oysters and botanical drink pairing on top. Best botanical pairing ever. Went perfectly with the meal. The dishes were also very creative and flavors were on point. Somehow the chef makes it work with Indian. Southeast Asian, and Peruvian flavors. Incredible. Our favorite meal so far during our trip. Attentive and friendly servers. Definitely get the botanical pairing. We shared it and it was enough. We are thinking about coming back before we leave!

It was super cozy and warm. The service was AMAZING. Very attentive and foreseen. Coat check available as well. Only „negative“ point to mention is that the bathroom is not easy to reach (very steep stairway)… Food was amazing as well. The fish was perfectly cooked as well as the vegetables and the sauces and dips were outstanding. Highly recommended: Yucas Bravas!

It was very nice Peruvian experience.. We did not try Nazka tasting Menu; instead,we created our own tasting menu with almost everything in the menu. All was so delicious. I recommend definitely the oyster as starter and bavette as main course.. Patagonia wine was also perfect..

One of the best tasting menus I've had. They've elevated Peruvian cuisine to the next level. Paired with the freshest produce and seafood the Netherlands has to offer, Nazka has created a culinary experience like no other in the city. Edit (Update as of August 2025) Visited for the third time, this time a menu by Chef Koosh Nazka has never failed to wow me, each time i go back it exceeds my expectations. Chef koosh's influence on the cuisine has elevated it to a new level. The suble flavors bring a feeling of nostalgia. You start to pinpoint the flavours you taste, but the feeling is fleeting - which for me made the experience far more profound. (I haven't ever written such a passionate review until now) As always, I'll find a way to return to Amsterdam, just for a few hours to make a pitstop at Nazka, which is undoubtedly, for me, is the best restaurant on Earth.

Definitely a contender of best restaurant in Amsterdam. The flavours really wows you, super well balanced, and the presentation is beautiful. The service is also super good, very attentive and kind! Can't wait to go back!

The food was decent, but that's about it. A lukewarm fish fillet with sauce was the main course, though nicely presented. No side dishes like vegetables. Two dishes were way too salty. One dish wasn't salty enough. The ceviche was nicely presented, but the taste wasn't anything special. The service and atmosphere were okay, nothing wrong with it, but nothing special. The price-quality ratio is out of whack; for €100 per person, there are better options.

We were here for the second time during the Croatian wine pairing event. I can’t speak highly enough about the quality of the food & the service. I have some hearing difficulties, but the acoustics in this restaurant were good. I was able to enjoy an easy conversation with my partner without any trouble. Great value for money. Would highly recommend. And I’ll say it again: absolutely great service :-)

Amazing flavors and great service 👌👌

Easily one of the overall best restaurant experiences we've had. Attentive and precise service, from a knowledge and friendly service team. Peruvian fusion, interesting combinations and flavors. Be sure to try the ceviche - and pairs well with their list of different pisco cocktails.

FINALLY had dinner here with a friend (she had been before). The welcome was excellent. I was asked to hang up my coat/bag. I was politely shown to the table. There was a cocktail and tasting menu, and there's also an a la carte menu. Everything looked great. As an extra option, we chose a canapé. Before dinner, a holder with cards was placed... each card told the story of the ingredients and origins of each dish. She placed a matching card with each dish, a nice touch. The canapé was lychee with coconut and tiger's milk curry, a delicious start to the menu. Next came a house dish: pani puri, always delicious! With each dish, the waiter explained what it was and how best to eat it. Next came the dish I'd been looking forward to for so long: ceviche. It had grilled strawberries, among other things. Man, oh man, in my opinion, the best ceviche I've ever had. Simply perfection!!!! The flavors blend so beautifully, and the fish is tender and cooked, not tough like in many restaurants. Next, we had a potato milfouille with a colorful sauce. Beautifully thin potato slices topped with a slightly spicy, sweet sauce. It was a replica of the Vinicunca mountain in Peru. Very nicely done and very flavorful. Next, we had perfectly cooked fish with peas and crispy tapioca, and a green sauce that transported us to India. This dish threw me off my game a bit, as I was already used to all those Peruvian flavor explosions, and suddenly something Indian. Haha, it was quite delicious, no doubt about it. The finale: a chocolate ganache with olive oil, salt, sesame crackers, and something else. I wouldn't have thought of olive oil with chocolate, but it works. We enjoyed the food, the service, and the improved Pisco Sour!

Probably my favourite restaurant in Amsterdam. Love the food, love the drinks (I dream about those Psico Sours frequently) and love the staff, the nicest and kindest. Just 10 out of 10. Since the first time I went I have recommend it to people and those who have gone have added it to their favourites in Amsterdam as well.
