Nice atmosphere, good service and delicious curries!

What happened? We order for almost 12 years already. There’s a change in quality. Naan is like a Dutch bread now, to thick and soft. And the chicken taste (tandoori) is not what we were used to. No taste. We did not get any mint or red sause. We loved your place. New cook? Hope you will get back to your old the best in amsterdam quality soon!

The staff was very nice and considerate, while the food was very good.

For €30 at Neetu Dhaba, you get a starter-main course-dessert mix, vegetarian or not, to share. The preparations (samosas, naans, butter chicken, etc.) are delicious and plentiful. The welcome is warm and very attentive. When we return to Amsterdam, we will definitely come back to this restaurant!

The people who run this business are a model for other restaurants to follow up on. The quick service, attentiveness to customers and smiling face keeps the experience warm and delightful. It's after a long I had momo ( nepali style dumplings) and it was spot on. The lamb curry was excellent too. The tandoori cheese naan was more like a pizza though. Chicken biryani was made with a European palette in mind. I had a nice evening and will return for more.

The quality of the food is okay, and it is quiet expensive for what it is. The take-away boxes are smaller than other take out places. I am suprised at the high reviews presented here, so wanted to leave my own review for others.

Very nice food and atmosphere. The portions of the butter chicken could be a bit bigger. To take away they are usually more substantial. Overall a good experience, try to sit outside on a warm day and contemplate the buzz of the Overtoom.

We had come to the area in search of a steak house which seems to be perpetually closed. Disappointed and starving we searched the area and found this restaurant online with great reviews. Walked the 1km or so and were met with the sweetest staff members who immediately seated us. Despite not speaking great English or Dutch we were able to place our orders and the service time was decent. The mixed starter was just what I needed to kill my hanger. I then opted for a tandoori chicken with garlic Naan. It comes with a complimentary aloo mathar. My bro had a lamb karai. By the time we were done eating we were stuffed and happy. The flavours of the food were wonderful. Portions generous and after skoffing it all down we sat silently as though we'd just left an Amsterdam coffee shop 😂 the atmosphere was relaxed with a more mature clientele and the ambience was great. The worst thing I could say was that I smelt a bit like curry when I left but it was a good memory anyways. Go here and enjoy a great meal.

Recently went there for tea and cocktail. Cocktail was too sweet but best place for indian food and drinks in west. Loved their tea. And the staff is so nice always.

We ordered butter chicken, naam and momos Was really good and rather Quick Garlic naan is quite overpriced when ordering (nearly 9€ ish for 1 VS 2 plain ones for 5€; what?!)

I went to Neetu Dhaba on 26-05-2024 and ate various dishes such as tandhoori, garlichnaan and curry dishes, I definitely give them a 9.5 for dishes and a 10 for service, especially the lady Shanti. By the way this is the second time we have been. I am very satisfied with this restaurant.

We stopped at Amsterdam for one night and walked randomly into this restaurant. It is absolutely amazing!! They were very nice and patient when it comes to order. We had chicken tikka masala and King prawn curry, DELICIOUS! And don’t forget to order Garlic Naan, must try!

Oh my gosh I had the most outstanding food here, when recently in Amsterdam. The service and good care were impeccable and appreciated. We liked the menu selection and ease of sharing food already prepared for best taste groupings. We enjoyed fresh beautiful dishes, good wines, and of course, some local beer. Booked through TheFork with a discount, I had the pleasure of dining here before, but unfortunately my recent experience was disappointing. After making the reservation online, I was told that the maximum number of discounted tables had been reached. Nevertheless, after showing my reservation in my email, I was offered a table. The description stated that it was only possible to order à la carte, but upon arrival we were presented with a limited menu on a laminated A4 sheet. Ordering dishes from the regular menu was not allowed with the discount. It would be better to either not participate in such promotions or provide a reasonable service. For me this was the last time. I'm very sorry...

Great food and lots of it. We had the 4 course menu with Amsterdam Resturant month. Really good value..had to bring some home as we couldn't finish it.

We had a nice dinner at Neetu Dhaba. Everything was well cooked and fresh. We had a dal soup (quite different from the other Indian dal soups), momo vegetables, lamp karai, king prawn masala and peshwari naan. We enjoyed it!

Nice and Cozy Place, we specially asked to prepare food a bit spicy and it was well taken care. We ordered Paneer, Chicken and Lamb items. All together we liked Chicken and Paneer items. We opted for Tandoori roti (generally rice is provided when curry is ordered) and it was very nice.

Best Indian food I had in the Netherlands or the UK, for as long as I can remember. Every dish tasted great, a combination of different flavours rather than the one blended taste you often get. We took a doggy bag home with us, and a day later it still was great!

Heerlijk eten, super authentiek en kruidig, prijs / kwaliteit super (hoofdgerechten tussen de 16-25€). 2 curry’s met z’n vieren als hoofdgerecht gedeeld en meerdere voorgerechtjes. Nummer 5 lama gehakt echt om je vingers bij af te likken!! Goeie service, eten duurde wat aan de lange kant maar geen probleem.

This is the best Indian / Nepalese food I've ever had. I've lived in many cities, and have had fantastic Indian food in the past, but this restaurant might be my favorite of all of them. I'm vegetarian, and they have tons of vegetarian options. Have also gone here with meat-eaters, and they've given high reviews as well. Food is great and the staff is extremely friendly. Overall, nothing bad to say at all!
