Delicious food and the owner is very sweet!

A very good experience. The MOMOs Mix were absolutely delicious. The chicken curry was good, but fairly standard, served with basmati rice. I highly recommend ordering the MOMOs; they're the best choice. The service was warm and welcoming: the lady was very patient with us, waiting quite a while because we couldn't decide, and she helped us calmly and with a smile. A great place! 😊

We went there for dinner today with four people, including a baby. We received a super friendly welcome. The food was delicious, we really enjoyed it. This cozy, welcoming, and atmospheric restaurant is (and remains) highly recommended. Especially considering the abundance of this type of restaurant in Amsterdam. The service was extremely smooth, pleasantly cheerful, friendly, and customer-focused. NON-Vegetarian 3-course menu for 2 people. The portions are ample and very (original) & flavorful, from the Samoshas, ​​through the main course, to the Mango Lassie. So, a well-deserved compliment to the entire kitchen staff. Oh yes, I almost forgot, ALL the naan flavors are top-notch. Neetu Dhaba: a great place, definitely worth returning, and all for a very pleasant experience and price.

Went with a group of 5 friends on a winter break to the city. Had a brilliant time, attentive service especially when dealing with my food allergies and brilliant food that left us very full ☺️

Two years ago we had a birthday dinner at this place, they had amazing food and were very welcoming. They joined in the singing and were very happy we were celebrating there. My friend paid for everything and as I learned later he didn't tip. I still feel guilty about that so even though I never write reviews I do believe this place deserves the praise!

We ate at this restaurant with a large group this weekend and agreed that we had rarely eaten such good Indian food. The service was very friendly and we didn't have to wait long for our food, even though we ordered à la carte. The price/performance ratio is good. Highly recommended. Excellent! You have to try the amazing secret menu at this place! I don’t know how I managed to get it, but after my friend and I placed our orders the waitress came back to tell me I “look fat”! I didn’t even have to pay for the insult, it was totally free and really made my night. Totally recommend for when you want to spice up your dinner out with deliciously unprompted insults.

BIG wow! My friend and I were surprised in the best of ways when the waitress came over to ask if she had gotten “bigger,” even using her hands to gesture at my friend’s body, and called her fat before walking away. We left immediately, but you definitely need to go if you ever want to be insulted before your food arrives!

This restaurant is a gem, especially if looking for halal food in Amsterdam. The food was amazing, but if they warn you that something is spicy it WILL be super spicy. Staff are wholesome.

This restaurant refused to let delivery drivers use the restroom while waiting for their orders. Apparently, they'd rather have delivery drivers deliver their food while they were practically peeing themselves. Very thoughtful, very empathetic indeed 🤮.

Quite basic food. Base for curries seemed the same even though we ordered two different things. Rogan Josh was spicy butter chicken. Paneer pakora didn't seem fresh.

Had a great evening. We had the non veg dhaba with 4 of us (31.99 euros) and had a delicious meal. Butter chicken was delicious. Momo's lacked some salt but otherwise not disturbing. Service was tiptop. For a Tuesday it was quite busy but the attention the staff has for the guests is really nice. Not a big restaurant but that also makes it cozy. I will definitely come back

I keep coming back to this restaurant. Tried similar food elsewhere Utrecht Rotterdam Hilversum Arnhem etc. But I keep coming back. Food is perfect spices and the balance of the food is perfect. Service is very good. Next week again!

The restaurant served truly delicious food. The staff was also really friendly. I loved that you could order unlimited amounts of rice, and the curry was good, too. I think it's not as good as Maharaja's in Weinheim, but it's really great in Amsterdam. I would go back.

This restaurant embarrassed me at first glance: It's astonishing how much work has gone into the decor, design, color scheme, and architecture of the building. The food was exceptionally well prepared, but, based on my own subjective taste, deviated somewhat from my ideal taste, as the light sweetness slightly overpowered the spiciness and depth of flavor. The choice of music, based on authentic characteristics, was not to be underestimated. Still, a great restaurant, highly recommended! 👍 😉 👍 👍 👍

What happened? We order for almost 12 years already. There’s a change in quality. Naan is like a Dutch bread now, to thick and soft. And the chicken taste (tandoori) is not what we were used to. No taste. We did not get any mint or red sause. We loved your place. New cook? Hope you will get back to your old the best in amsterdam quality soon!

The people who run this business are a model for other restaurants to follow up on. The quick service, attentiveness to customers and smiling face keeps the experience warm and delightful. It's after a long I had momo ( nepali style dumplings) and it was spot on. The lamb curry was excellent too. The tandoori cheese naan was more like a pizza though. Chicken biryani was made with a European palette in mind. I had a nice evening and will return for more.

The quality of the food is okay, and it is quiet expensive for what it is. The take-away boxes are smaller than other take out places. I am suprised at the high reviews presented here, so wanted to leave my own review for others.

Very nice food and atmosphere. The portions of the butter chicken could be a bit bigger. To take away they are usually more substantial. Overall a good experience, try to sit outside on a warm day and contemplate the buzz of the Overtoom.

We had come to the area in search of a steak house which seems to be perpetually closed. Disappointed and starving we searched the area and found this restaurant online with great reviews. Walked the 1km or so and were met with the sweetest staff members who immediately seated us. Despite not speaking great English or Dutch we were able to place our orders and the service time was decent. The mixed starter was just what I needed to kill my hanger. I then opted for a tandoori chicken with garlic Naan. It comes with a complimentary aloo mathar. My bro had a lamb karai. By the time we were done eating we were stuffed and happy. The flavours of the food were wonderful. Portions generous and after skoffing it all down we sat silently as though we'd just left an Amsterdam coffee shop 😂 the atmosphere was relaxed with a more mature clientele and the ambience was great. The worst thing I could say was that I smelt a bit like curry when I left but it was a good memory anyways. Go here and enjoy a great meal.

Recently went there for tea and cocktail. Cocktail was too sweet but best place for indian food and drinks in west. Loved their tea. And the staff is so nice always.

I went to Neetu Dhaba on 26-05-2024 and ate various dishes such as tandhoori, garlichnaan and curry dishes, I definitely give them a 9.5 for dishes and a 10 for service, especially the lady Shanti. By the way this is the second time we have been. I am very satisfied with this restaurant.
