New Hong Kong in Wijk 20 Risdam-Zuid

This restaurant, or to be honest, isn't a restaurant at all, should close! I have never in my life had such filthy and disgusting food! The delivery was already way too late, and the delivery driver was a bit too flashy, which is exactly what I wasn't expecting. The food was lukewarm, tasteless, didn't smell good, and looked bad. The Babi Pangang was tasteless and very greasy, not crispy. The Satay and Foe Young Hai were truly below par… how can anyone ruin dishes like this? We ordered a monthly menu via Thuisbezorgd, where I couldn't post a review either, by the way, and was rated a 4.9? Seriously, how is that even possible? After trying a few bites, we threw the food in the green bin and subsequently threw away over 20 euros. Now I'm writing this review with a very strange stomach!

What a terribly bad company this is! If you can't find our house, you really need to try harder. The absolute worst part is that the employees are terribly rude and disrespectful.

We always order Value Menu A. Good price and plenty of food, delivered very quickly, and we find it delicious every time.

Ordered food here for the first time: a 1-month menu and pork belly. The monthly menu was tasteless; the satay sauce was watery and flavorless. The pork belly was crispy but otherwise tough. I know tastes differ, but here it ended up in the trash, which is a shame. For us, this was a one-time thing and never again; a real waste of money.

Very unfriendly staff and you can only pay in cash.....that gets me thinking!!! Something for the tax authorities perhaps????

Ordered food yesterday. The spring roll was very greasy! The nasi Malay was also very greasy. All in all, it wasn't very good and I threw it away!

I ordered several menus yesterday. Everything tasted delicious. Nice and hot and wonderfully nutritious.

On Monday, January 5th, four boys were chased by a small, angry Chinese owner of New Hong Kong. Never throw a snowball at the window here, or you'll be attacked with a hammer.

I went to pick up my food. Suddenly, I saw a woman in a red sweater running after a group of 13- or 14-year-old children with a hammer. She ran out of the store and maliciously chased the children. This made me feel uneasy about picking up the food inside. It was my first time, so I didn't know what to expect. I left the food there for my own safety. I advise against ordering from here!!!

Great food! We actually prefer it not being so incredibly salty (where people say it has no flavor). Some things were a bit greasy, but hey... you're not going to eat healthy anyway, so that's okay. 😂 My boyfriend just said yes, but his spring roll was really greasy.

Because everyone deserves a second chance... No, not again. You order nasi goreng and get bami... I'd love to try something different, but the crispy chicken with lemon sauce, hmmm no, waaaaay too much sugar, watery and tasteless... 😿 Oh yeah, the website needs a makeover too... I ordered takeout food here for the first time, and it was ready within 10 minutes! I suspected it wasn't freshly prepared and that it might have been sitting in those containers for a while, which is a shame. I often order Chinese food, but this was really bad, and when I picked it up, I noticed the musty smell inside, which made me a bit skeptical. Next time, I'll order from Peking Express; they're still the best Chinese food in Hoorn, in my opinion. You might think, "I'll try a different Chinese food place," but that ultimately wasn't a smart choice, just like many other fast-food places here in Hoorn, which regularly disappoint me. They still manage to make a döner sandwich or a kapsalon taste awful at a döner kebab restaurant; you really have to try hard—it's truly scandalous. Apparently, they have no competition here in Hoorn.

Ordered online. Couldn't find this Chinese place. But everything tasted excellent. Excellent.

Ordered food online. Friendly delivery person and that is the only positive. Tomato soup, was slimy thick, tasteless with lumpy strings in it. Chicken soup is just warm water. Prawn crackers taste like cardboard. Nasi only has a few pieces of ham in it and hardly any vegetables. The rice had been cooked for far too long. The only place for this food is the bin. We will never order from here again.

I received the wrong food, which wasn't the first time. The moment I called them about it, they denied everything. I ordered for nam, which is normally roasted pork belly. I got babi pangang. Unfortunately, the owner can't handle criticism.

We had ordered a few days in advance ... everything neatly written down and discussed, time appointment made. All this neatly delivered and at the door as agreed ..... top service and the food was very well received by everyone ...

We regularly order Chinese here. Delivery is really fast. Even faster than the time indicated for home delivery. Always nice so far. The food is tasty and plenty of it. Yesterday the taste was a bit superficial. But the satay, spring rolls, curry and noodles tasted good. Included extra food, regardless of what was ordered. Not the best, but certainly good enough to order again next time.

The order arrived very quickly. The food was hot and the delivery person was polite. I had taken menu A. You get a lot of food for 25.-. But I found the food tasteless and not very tasty. Maybe next time I'll try a different meal to give it a chance.

babi pangang bad. There was very little taste in the babi pangang. It looked like bacon that had been sprayed with water, which they use as meat. No nice fried pork. I only fried it up once at home but it splattered like crazy. The rest also has very little taste. The only thing that tasted normal was actually the prawn crackers.

For the umpteenth time we received half of what we ordered. Treated very poorly by the telephone operator, they cannot provide customer friendliness. We do not recommend ordering from them to anyone.

They usually have excellent food here. Yesterday it went wrong. Chinese noodles that tasted good but smelled burnt. The foe young hai was also slightly burnt. We already smelled a burning smell outside, but with 4 restaurants together you don't know where it comes from. Hopefully better next time.

Real drama, the food was much too late. Cold and also way too small portions, without taste. (watery) we have noticed for a while that less and less goes into the containers. And to top it all off, I was treated poorly on the phone and hung up on. After 30 years of eating in Hong Kong, this is now the last time. We miss the old owner

We often go here when we want to have a quick Chinese meal. If we call, we can leave immediately and when we arrive, the food will be ready within 15 minutes. Always super tasty and large portions so we can eat it for two days. We often get extra croup too.

When opening the containers the food smelled, it all tasted like it was old, chicken curry is not a curry sauce, satay was dirty, gado gado had a sour taste, babi pangang seems to come from a can. Really bad.

Ordered food here, tastes like old socks, it certainly wasn't fresh. Egg tasted out of date...and was also burnt...pork was poorly cooked...the spring rolls are even worse than those from Albert Heijn. Shame... I have never eaten such bad Chinese food. You can't call this restaurant worthy food, how can you sell this to people???

Had Pangsit Goreng besteld bij de Fo-Nam, de Pangsit Goreng was alleen wat gefrituurd deeg en had totaal geen vulling. Iets wat je wel in een Pangsit Goreng hoort te hebben. Gebeld hierover en kreeg te horen dat dit zo hoorde, geen zin in een discussie dus heb het er maar bij gelaten. Zal niet snel weer bestellen.

Ik had een maand menu opgehaald,bij thuiskomst zat de saté er niet bij,en in de kip Kerry zaten haren zo goor.Ik haal daar nooit meer.

Altijd heerlijk eten en snel bezorgd en vriendelijke bezorgers, snap de reviews niet maar ik ga vanavond weer bestellen hier.

We waren de gehele zondag buiten geweest met z'n zessen, en we hadden wel trek gekregen om Chinees te eten. Waar ik normaal bestel krijg ik altijd vlees met groenten in het gerecht dat was hier dus niet zo dus alle porties was zonder groenten dat was jammer. En dan de smaak laat ik het zo zeggen dit was niet te pruimen en dan hadden we ook nog een voorgerecht pangsit dit heeft ons doen besluiten om hier nooit maar dan ook nooit meer naar toe te gaan er zat namelijk een dikke bromvlieg in het deeg gevouwen. Al met al bleef er genoeg over na de vlieg was de honger gestild.

Tau Foe Poh : het was druk dus een half uurtje later bezorgd. Het eten was lauw maar dat is in een magnetron snel opgelost. Wel was het jammer dat de smaak flauw was ( niet pittig zoals omschreven) en ook 1/3 bestond niet uit vlees maar taufoe. De bezuiniging heeft dus ook hier toegeslagen. Jammer

Klein maar fijn. Heerlijk eten. Veel keus, normale prijzen.

Was niet slecht maar ik miste de smaak was was veel hetzelfde, en sommige stukken van de babi pangang taai,kip met zwarte bonen saus was laf van smaak

Graag haal ik af smakelijk eten, zoals nasi special, gebakken banaan, of groentewok met kip, Chinese soep. Klantvriendelijk personeel.

Ik heb hier gewoon de standaard tjap tjoy en babi pangang besteld wat goed Ik moet alleen nog een specialiteiten proberen

na dat mensen die wij niet kennen onze bestelling gestolen hadden is alles toch nog goed gekomen en heeft het restaurant alles opnieuw klaar gemaakt en weer opnieuw bezorgd en het was heerlijk hartstikke bedankt voor de super service

Basic Chinese take-out place, no seating area. The food is nothing special, but good. They do cash only, which can be annoying now and then. There's an ATM in walking distance, but still... Their vegetarian options are very limited and a vegetarian soup is nothing else but broth. The woman behind the counter can be quite rude and impatient.

Wij vonden het eten redelijk.. Niet erg smaalvol en de dame achter de balie was niet vriendelijk en zelfs onbeschoft. Wij gaan voortaan ergens anders ons eten halen.

Even geen tijd om zelf te koken. Dus maar een Tja Sieuw besteld met witte rijst. Snelle bezorging en heerlijk gebakken reepje varkensvlees, met saus en sambal. Klasse

Prima kwaliteit, goed van smaak. Als je zelf wilt afhalen gewoon even bellen wanneer je langs komt en is je bestelling keurig klaar!

Al paar keer voor een dichte deur gestaan, terwijl er op het briefje bij de deur staat dat ze tot 21.00 uur open zijn. Nu trof ik nog net iemand en kon ik met pijn en moeite een bak soep mee krijgen.
